The influence of silage juice feeding on the changes in 24 haematological and biochemical parameters in blood (blood serum) and urine of feeder bulls was evaluated in two comparative experiments in which no silage was included in feed rations. The supplement of 2 or 4 litres of juice per 100 kg of live weight represented a daily acidogenous stress of 0.79 to 1.93 moles of organic acids. In the first experiment this supplement was not proved to evoke any significant changes in the evaluated parameters. In the second experiment, in which the silage juices were enriched with sodium chloride, aqueous ammonia solution (26%) and molasses, a statistically significant increase in the level of beta-hydroxybutyric acid in blood and in the corresponding sum of ketone bodies (P less than 0.05 to 0.01) was observed in the experimental group of animals. The levels of sodium in serum were also increased (P less than 0.05). The average weight gains of bulls belonging to the experimental group were higher than those in the control groups.  相似文献

The suitability of a corn and cob maize silage (CCM) as a component rich in energy in the fattening ration was investigated in a growth experiment with male broilers. The CCM silage with a dry matter content of 60.2% contained the following substances determining its value (per 1 kg dry matter of the feed): 102 g crude protein, 61 g crude fibre and 682 energetic feed units for chickens (EFUc). CCM silage was either fed as a component of a feed mixture consisting of 70.5% CCM silage and 29.5% protein concentrate (all values of original substance) or both components of the ration were fed to broilers separately. The protein concentrate was composed as follows (values per kg): 650 g soybean oilmeal, 110 g fishmeal, 85 g tankage from rendering plants, 55 g torula yeast, 70 g mineral mixture and 30 g of a mixture of biologically active substances. The broilers of the control group received commercial fattening feed for broilers with coarse maize meal as cereal component. The feed mixture with CCM silage and separate CCM silage were accepted readily. When CCM silage and protein concentrate were offered alternatively, the same amount of CCM silage was consumed but 8% less protein concentrate. The broilers fed with CCM silage plus protein concentrate reached 96-97% of the live weight of the control animals (1.952 g/animal, 49th day), which received conventional feed, although their net energy intake was 10% lower. This proves a more favourable net energy expenditure for the test groups fed with CCM silage.  相似文献

20 heifers got ammoniated grass silage ad libitum (self feeding system in front of the silo), the ration was supplemented by small amounts of maize silage and concentrate only. During a few hours past feed intake the heifers developed hyperesthetic, hyperactive symptoms and massive salivation. Without any treatment the clinical symptoms disappeared. The analysed sample of grass silage contained about 9 g ammonia per kg fresh weight. Changing the feeding system (offering the roughage past 1 day of aeration) the same grass silage did not lead to any disturbances or health problems in the heifers. It was assumed, that the observed symptoms were typical signs of ammonia-intoxication.  相似文献

Two experiments have been conducted to study the effect of virginiamycin in a maize silage diet (I) or a complete dry feed (II). Virginiamycin was incorporated at 0 or 65 mg per kg concentrate which was fed at 0.75% of the live weight of 43 Belgian white-red bulls (I), or at 0 or 25 mg per kg complete dry feed for 24 Belgian white-blue bulls (II). In the first experiment daily gain was increased by virginiamycin from 1.28 to 1.38 kg without effect on intake, but with an improved feed conversion from 5.99 to 5.60 kg dry matter/kg gain. In the second experiment daily gain, daily dry matter intake and feed conversion were not influenced by virginiamycin. The differences between experiments may suggest that the response to virginiamycin probably depends on the diet type, although no significant interaction was found between diet type and virginiamycin with regard to growth rate (P greater than 0.10). In both experiments, fasting weight loss, dressing percent and carcass classification and composition were not affected by virginiamycin.  相似文献

This study was designed to separate the effect of fermentation quality on voluntary intake of grass silage from other feed factors affecting intake. Variations in DMI were quantified, and the impact on intake was modeled. The relationships between individual silage components and intake were examined. A partially balanced changeover experiment with 30 Norwegian Red steers (137 +/- 16.4 kg of BW) was carried out to determine the intake of 24 silages and of hay harvested from the same parent crop within 60 h. Five forages were fed at a time in each of five 3-wk periods. Every 3-wk period was preceded by 2 wk of feeding a standard silage. Silage DMI ranged from 1.79 to 2.65, with a mean of 2.38 kg x 100 kg of BW(-1) x d(-1). Hay DMI averaged 2.43 kg x 100 kg of BW(-1) x d(-1). Ranges (mean) for the composition of silages were as follows: DM, 166 to 237 (213) g/kg; water-soluble carbohydrates, 16.3 to 70.9 (33.0) g/kg of DM; acetic acid, 11.5 to 64.7 (28.6) g/kg of DM; propionic acid, 0 to 5.2 (1.0) g/kg of DM; butyric acid, 0 to 25.1 (6.0) g/kg of DM; lactic acid, 2.2 to 102 (49.3) g/kg of DM; and NH3-N (not corrected for additive-derived N), 89.3 to 255 (153) g/kg of total N. Silage DMI was closely (P < 0.05) related to DM, ADL, VFA, lactic acid, total acids, the lactic acid:total acids ratio, ADIN, NH3-N (not corrected), histamine, tryptamine, cadaverine, and the total sum of amines (the explained variation in intake ranged from 14 to 53%). The 2 best models describing silage DMI included concentrations in the silage of propionic acid, butyric acid, and lactic acid, and these models explained 75 and 84% of the variation in DMI. The strong correlation (r = 0.84, P < 0.05) between total NH3-N and butyric acid concentrations in silages indicates that these variables described the same variation pattern. The inclusion of NH3-N in the equations describing the effect of fermentation quality on DMI of low-DM grass silage was less useful than that of butyric acid. This was due to the confounded relationship between the NH3-N concentration in silages and the use of ammonium-containing preservatives and to difficulties in correcting for the added ammonium.  相似文献

4 heifers (268 to 400 kg live weight) were fed with four rations containing corn silage and corn flour in ratios of 82:18 (I), 65:35 (II), 45:55 (III) and 25:75 (IV). Urea was added to achieve an N balance. The rations were aimed at a daily weight gain of 700-800 g. The digestibility of the rations, their metabolizable energy, heat production and retained energy were determined. The digestibility of the organic matter was, in the sequence of I-IV = 73.2, 74.3, 75.4 and 75.8%. In the same sequence the energy intake per animal and day in MJ was = 95.9, 92.8, 91.3 and 89,7; the digestibility of the energy was 71.5, 72.2, 73.8 and 74.8%. In urine 3.1, 2.5, 2.7 and 2.9% and in methane 7.6, 7.8, 7.6 and 7.2% of the energy intake were excreted. Metabolizable energy was 60.8, 62.0, 63.5 and 64.7%, heat production 48.7, 48,7, 48.2 and 49.8% of the energy intake. 12.2, 13.2, 14.4 and 14.9% of the energy intake were retained. 51.6, 48.8, 42.4 and 40.1% of the retained energy was protein energy. The energetic feed value of both ration components has been calculated and stated according to various mathematical methods.  相似文献

To examine whether type of maize silage is important for milk production performances, maize silage LG30224 (LG) was compared with Falkone (FA), the latter having a 4.0% points lower rumen NDF digestibility and 19 g/kg dry matter (DM) more starch. To bridge the lower energy content of FA, a third treatment was involved by adding maize meal (MM) in a ratio of 92/8 on DM (FA+MM). Maize and grass silage were fed ad libitum in a ratio of 65/35 on DM basis. Concentrates were supplemented individually to meet energy and protein requirements. The experiment was set up as a Latin square with three groups of nine Holstein cows during three periods of 3 weeks. In the last 2 weeks of each period, DM intake (DMI) and milk performances were measured. Each group included one cannulated cow to study effects on rumen fermentation. During the last 4 days of each period, two cows from each group were placed in gas exchange chambers to measure nutrient digestibility and methane production. Total DMI was higher (p < 0.05) for FA+MM (20.8 kg/day) than for FA (20.3 kg/day), while DMI for LG was intermediate (20.6 kg/day). Treatment did not affect milk production nor composition, whereas fat–protein‐corrected milk was higher for LG (30.5 kg/day) and FA+MM (30.3 kg/day) than for FA (29.9 kg/day). The ration did not affect pH nor volatile fatty acid composition in the rumen. Further, total tract digestibility of OM, crude protein, NDF and starch did not differ among treatments. The ration with LG gave higher methane production per day and per kg NDF intake than both rations with FA, but the difference was not significant when expressed per kg DMI or FPCM. Thus, maize silage type is of little importance for milk production if energy and physical structure requirements are met.  相似文献

本研究旨在探讨青贮构树叶作为功能性饲料原料替代牧草在奶牛生产上的应用,评估其对奶牛泌乳性能、乳成分、乳脂肪酸组成及机体抗氧化性能的影响。试验将平均初始体重为(571.89±28.88)kg、泌乳量(32.08±1.03)kg的96头荷斯坦奶牛随机分为4组,每组6个重复,每个重复4头,各组奶牛分别饲喂含有0、5%、10%和15%青贮构树叶的全混合日粮。结果:日粮添加青贮构树叶显著降低了奶牛干物质摄入量(P<0.05),但青贮构树叶组奶牛的饲料效率显著高于对照组(P<0.05)。10%和15%青贮构树叶组奶牛的泌乳量较对照组分别显著提高13.73%和15.92%(P<0.05)。与对照组相比,10%和15%青贮构树叶组血清超氧化物歧化酶活性显著提高31.30%和61.88%(P<0.05),但青贮构树叶组丙二醛浓度较对照组分别显著降低29.11%、36.68%和31.88%(P<0.05)。与对照组和5%青贮构树叶组相比,10%和15%青贮构树叶组乳中多不饱和脂肪酸浓度显著提高69.87%、73.84%和61.32%、65.09%。结论:日粮添加10%~15%青贮构树叶可以提高奶牛饲料效率、机体免疫和抗氧化功能,降低牛奶体细胞数量。  相似文献

The effects of grazed grass, grass silage, or concentrates on fatty acid composition and conjugated linoleic acid (cis-9, trans-11-18:2; CLA) concentrations of i.m. fat of steers fed to achieve similar carcass growth rates were investigated. Fifty steers were divided into 10 blocks based on body weight and assigned at random from within blocks to one of five dietary treatments. The experimental rations offered daily for 85 d preceding slaughter were 1) grass silage for ad libitum intake plus 4 kg of concentrate, 2) 8 kg of concentrate plus 1 kg of hay, 3) 6 kg of grazed grass DM plus 5 kg of concentrate, 4) 12 kg of grazed grass DM plus 2.5 kg concentrate, or 5) 22 kg of grazed grass DM. The concentration of polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) in i.m. fat was higher (P < .05) for steers offered ration 5 than for those given any other ration. Decreasing the proportion of concentrate in the diet, which effectively increased grass intake, caused a linear decrease in the concentration of i.m. saturated fatty acids (SFA) (P < .01) and in the n-6:n-3 PUFA ratio (P < .001) and a linear increase in the PUFA:SFA ratio (P < .01) and the conjugated linoleic acid concentration (P < .001). The data indicate that i.m. fatty acid composition of beef can be improved from a human health perspective by inclusion of grass in the diet.  相似文献

The influence of silage:concentrate ratio (energy concentration) on voluntary feed intake, growth rate, feed utilization, reproduction and subsequent milk yield in early calving dairy heifers was examined. Forty-eight heifers of the breed Black and White were divided into four groups fed clover—grass silage and concentrates ad libitum in the ratios 100:0, 75:25, 50:50 and 25:75 of Scandinavian feed units (Sc.f.u.).Below 200 kg liveweight the daily intake of dry matter increased with increasing level of concentrates. Above 200 kg there were no significant differences in dry matter intake. As a consequence of the energy concentration of the rations (70, 78, 89 and 96 Sc.f.u. per 100 kg dry matter), the intake of net energy increased with the amount of concentrates, and consequently the daily gain increased. The increase in daily gain with concentrate level decreased with increasing liveweight.Puberty always occurred at the same liveweight, whereas age at first oestrus decreased with increasing content of concentrates in the ration offered ad libitum. This was reflected in a lowering of the age at first calving from 23.9 to 20.2 months. There was no significant difference in average milk yield in the first lactation. The milk yield was relatively low in all groups, and possible explanations for this depression are discussed.  相似文献

With a view to studying the effect of acid addition, weaned piglets and fattening pigs were fed graduated amounts of protein mixed silage (pH-value 3.15 by adding 20 g H2SO4/kg) in rations of equal energy and protein levels. On average, the fattening pigs were taking in 0.26 g H2SO4/kg, whilst the amounts for piglets were 0.60 and 0.72 g H2SO4/kg. Higher acid intakes had a negative effect of energy expenditure, weight gains and feed intake. The experimental animals had significantly longer small intestines, whilst the intestine's wall was found thinner and the amount of digesta reduced and with a higher water content. The microbial activity in the stomach proved significantly inhibited. However, it was higher in the caecum as compared to the control animals. Metabolic parameters suggest that water and mineral balances are under stress. The significance of acid addition for tract flora and its metabolites is discussed. Protein mixed silage is regarded a dietetically favourable feed when given at a maximum daily amount of 25 g/kg LW or 1 kg/animal. The recommendation for dosing the daily administration of inorganic acids is as follows: max. 0.5 g acid/kg LW or 20 g/animal.  相似文献

Scientific feeding experiments were carried out with 5 castrated male pigs and 4 female animals of the genetic origin "Camborough" in the live weight range between 30 and 100 kg with a subdivision at 60 kg. In each test group the animals were fed individually and received rations with approximately equal contents of protein, amino acids, minerals and vitamins but different energy contents. Energy intake was adjusted to 3 levels of 100%, 85% and 70% of semi-ad-libitum intake. Apart from that, the digestibility of the feed mixtures used in the 2 fattening periods was determined. Having reached a live weight of 100 kg, 7 representative animals per group were slaughtered and a number of slaughtering parameters were registered. In all three test groups the daily live weight gain over the complete fattening period was very high (846, 819 and 778 g). Though the weight gain in group 3 with 70% of the energy supply of group 1 is significantly lower than in the other two groups, it is, however, only 70 g lower than in group 1. Consequently, the feed expenditure (2.6 kg mixed feed per kg live weight gain) in group 3 is by 20% lower than in group 1, in which the feed expenditure is 3.2 kg mixed feed per kg live weight gain. There were no significant differences on the weight gain performances and the registered carcass parameters between sows and castrated male pigs. 105 growing sows in the live weight range were fed with 7 test rations with graduated energy and amino acid levels. The growth intensity was very much influenced by the daily energy consumption. On the basis of regression analysis the following linear relation between daily weight increase (y in g per kg live weight0,75) and the daily energy consumption (x in energetic feed units for pigs per kg live weight0,75) was calculated: y = -13,79 + 0,7037 x (r = 0,84, sb -0,0295). The interpolation with regard to live weight balance resulted in a maintenance requirement of 19,8 energetic feed units for pigs resp. 70 kcal net energy fat for pigs per kg live weight0,75. The methods of assessment chosen showed an increase of the energy requirement per 100 g additional live weight increase per day of a constant amount, independent of the live weight, of 142 energetic feed units for pigs resp. 497 kcal net energy fat for pigs.  相似文献

Winter finishing of beef cattle is expensive so feed costs per kg carcass gain must be minimised. The objectives of this study with finishing beef steers were (1) to determine the production responses to varying levels of supplementary concentrates with grass silage, (2) to compare the effects of feeding silage and concentrates separately or as a total mixed ration (TMR), and (3) to compare short (S) and long (L) finishing periods. A total of 117 finishing steers were blocked on weight and assigned to 13 groups of 9 animals each comprising a pre-experimental slaughter group and 12 finishing groups arranged in a 6 (feeding treatments) × 2 (durations of finishing) factorial experiment. The 6 feeding treatments were: (1) silage only offered ad libitum (SO), (2) SO plus a low level of concentrates offered separately (LS), (3) SO plus a low level of concentrates offered as a TMR (LM), (4) SO plus a high level of concentrates offered separately (HS), (5) SO plus a high level of concentrates offered as a TMR (HM), and (6) concentrates ad libitum plus restricted silage (AL). Target low and high concentrate levels were proportionately 0.375 and 0.750 of daily dry matter (DM) intake, respectively. S and L finishing periods were 105 and 175 days, respectively. Silage DM intake decreased (P < 0.001) and total DM intake increased (P < 0.001) with increasing concentrate level. Maximum DM intake occurred at the high concentrate level but maximum net energy intake occurred on ad libitum concentrates. Live weight gains for SO, LS, LM, HS, HM and AL were 212, 900, 929, 1111, 1089 and 1207 (S.E. 46.2) g/day, respectively. Corresponding carcass weight gains were 119, 506, 540, 662, 633 and 746 (S.E. 25.4) g/day. Kill-out proportion, carcass conformation score and all measures of fatness increased significantly with increasing concentrate level. Feeding a TMR increased silage intake at the low concentrate level but otherwise had no effect on overall animal performance or carcass traits. Extending the finishing period reduced (P < 0.001) daily live weight gain, but the associated reduction in carcass weight gain was not statistically significant. It is concluded that the response to supplementary concentrates decreased with increasing level, there was no animal production advantage to a TMR over separate feeding of the dietary constituents, and extending the duration of the finishing period reduced mean daily live weight gain and increased fatness.  相似文献

With a total number of 157 boars 9 feeding variants with different levels of energy and amino acids were checked. The weight increase per fattening day and the energy and lysine expenditure per kg live weight increase were determined. The insufficient supply with lysine had negative effects on the live weight increase and the energy expenditure during the whole fattening period. Between the variantes with a high supply with amino acids (120%) and the supply according to standard (100%) no significant differences concerning the live weight increase could be ascertained up to 90 kg live weight. Between 90 and 120 kg live weight the animals in the variant with medium energy level and 120% lysine supply achieved significantly higher increases than those in the standard variant. Up to 90 kg live weight the energy expenditure for all groups amounted to 2,08 kEFs (energetic feed units for pigs) per kg live weight increase. The most suitable results were achieved by the animals which received the variants rich in energy (1,760 resp. 1,770 kEFs per kg live weight increase). Above the 90 kg live weight limit the energy expenditure rose considerably, remained however under 2,000 kEFs per kg live weight increase for the boars of the variant with medium energy level and 120% lysine supply as well as for the variant rich in energy and 100% lysine supply. The lysine expenditure in the first variant amounted to 25.1 g per kg live weight increase and for the variant rich in energy to 20.6 g lysine per kEFs.  相似文献

Earlier and present experiments have shown detrimental influence of sulphuric acid preserved fish in mink feed on production parameters, early kit growth and kit mortality. Comparison of the production parameters with clinical-chemical parametres and pathological-anatomical findings give a picture of the tolerated amount of sulphuric acid preserved fish silage in the mink feed during different production periods. It seems that the animals tolerate only small amounts of sulphuric acid preserved fish silage (5-8 per cent) in the total feed during the stress periods of reproduction, lactation and early kit growth but higher amounts (20-30 per cent) during late growth period, where the need of feed is high.  相似文献

Scientific feeding experiments were carried out with 7 male castrated pigs of the genetic origin land race pig X large white with the test animals fed individually and the rations containing approximately the same amounts of protein, amino acids, minerals and vitamins but varied amounts of energy. Energy intake was adjusted to three levels: 100%, 85% and 70% of semi-ad-libitum intake (group 1 = 100%). With regard to protein supply there was a subdivision into 30-60 and 60-100 kg live weight. In addition to this, the digestibility of the feed mixture used and the N-balance were determined in both fattening periods. Having reached 100 kg live weight, the animals were slaughtered and a number of slaughtering parameters was determined. The average daily live weight gain in the three test groups was 749, 664 and 540 g over the whole fattening period. The feed expenditure was 3.7, 3.9 and 4.3 kg mixed feed per kg live weight gain so that, with regard to live weight performance and feed expenditure the group with the highest energy supply showed the best results. The level of energy supply had a remarkable influence on the composition of weight gain; thus the amount of fat in the carcass of the animals of groups 3 was by 1.8 kg and 2.5 kg resp. lower than of the animals in groups 2 and 1.  相似文献

The concentration of delta-amino levulinic acid (ALA) was determined in the urine of clinically healthy cows of 14 herds in the West-Slovakian region. The content of lead was determined at the same time in the components of feed rations. The ALA concentration values were converted to values per uniform specific weight of urine and per gram of secreted creatinine to match literary sources where the ALA concentration is given in these two quantities. The approximate intake of lead by the animal bodies in milligrams per head/day and per kg of live weight was calculated from lead content in feed rations. The average ALA concentration in the urine of dairy cows was 42.7 +/- 20.2 mu mol per 1 of urine (36.8 +/- 18.7 mu mol per g of creatinine), the average lead intake from feed being 0.157 mg per kg of live weight. The ALA concentrations in urine refer to animals given normal feeds with no lead contamination and as such can be considered as physiological values. Statistically significant correlations were recorded between ALA concentrations per litre of urine at the uniform specific weight of 1030 g per litre and the values converted per gram of secreted creatinine (r = 0.789). The upper biological tolerance limit of ALA concentration in urine (105.0 mu mol per litre) was determined by mathematico-statistical methods. Values above this limit could be indicative of an increased lead stress of the cows' bodies.  相似文献

本试验旨在研究利用酶制剂青贮杂交狼尾草,对牧草品质和肉猪饲喂效果的影响。选用150头100日龄体重50kg杜长大三元肉猪。实验分5个处理,每个处理3次重复,每个重复10头。对照组(CK)饲喂基础日粮;处理Ⅰ饲喂基础日粮,同时饲喂添加麦麸的杂交狼尾草青贮料;处理Ⅱ饲喂基础日粮,同时饲喂添加麦麸和纤维素酶青贮的杂交狼尾草青贮料;处理Ⅲ饲喂基础日粮,同时饲喂添加麦麸和纤维素菌液青贮的杂交狼尾草青贮料;处理Ⅳ饲喂基础日粮,同时饲喂添加麦麸和乳酸菌青贮的杂交狼尾草青贮料。结果表明,处理Ⅰ、Ⅱ、Ⅲ、Ⅳ与CK相比平均日增重差异不显著(P0.05),但平均日增重绝对值分别比CK提高了2.3%,8.6%,4.4%和2.2%,精料肉比分别降低了9.7%,14.9%,11.4%和9.5%,经济效益分别提高了11.34%,36.03%,21.60%和14.03%。4组饲喂杂交狼尾草青贮料的肉猪与CK相比会适当降低肉猪屠宰率,显著提高肉猪的背膘厚,肉猪的板油重、胃重呈增加的趋势,大肠重量差异不显著,小肠重量和长度则变短变轻,且增加肉质颜色等品质。说明利用纤维素降解菌可以提高牧草青贮品质,提高肉猪饲喂效果和经济效益。  相似文献
