A series of studies was conducted to investigate the effects of feeding diets imbalanced with respect to branched-chain amino acids on channel catfish. Basal diets contained casein and gelatin supplemented with crystalline L-amino acids to correspond to the amino acid pattern found in 24% whole egg protein except for the branched-chain amino acids. Basal diets were formulated to be deficient in either leucine, isoleucine, or valine. Excess levels of either leucine, isoleucine, or valine were added to the appropriate basal diet. Growth and feed efficiency data demonstrate that excess leucine depressed growth of fish fed diets deficient in isoleucine or valine, but not in diets adequate in branched-chain amino acids. The deleterious effects of excess leucine could be reversed by supplementation with the deficient amino acid, but not by the other branched-chain amino acid. Growth was also depressed in fish fed excess isoleucine but not valine in leucine-deficient diets. Serum levels of isoleucine and valine suggest that leucine may control the tissue uptake of these amino acids in the channel catfish.  相似文献

通过8周网箱实验评价了利用豆粕、菜粕和棉粕替代苏氏圆腹鲑饲料中鱼粉的潜力.配制了7种等氮、等能饲料,其中对照饲料含45%鱼粉,在其余6种饲料中按等量蛋白替代原则分别添加31%或46%豆粕替代基础饲料中鱼粉的50%或75%,添加20%或40%菜粕替代基础饲料中鱼粉的25%或50%,添加19%或39%棉粕替代基础饲料中鱼粉的25%或50%.实验中所用苏氏圆腹鲑初始体重为11.3 g.实验结果表明:添加豆粕将饲料鱼粉含量从45%降低到23%,添加菜粕或棉粕将鱼粉含量降低到34%,对鱼成活率、摄食、鱼体增重、特定生长率(SGR)、饲料系数(FCR)、饲料蛋白储积率、脏体指数和红血细胞比积(Hct)未产生显著不良影响.添加豆粕将鱼粉含量降低到11%导致鱼摄食、鱼体增重和SGR下降,添加菜粕将鱼粉含量降低到23%导致FCR升高和鱼体能量储积率下降,添加棉粕将鱼粉含量降低到23%导致鱼体增重、SGR和Hct下降.上述结果显示可通过添加豆粕将苏氏圆腹鲑鱼种饲料鱼粉含量降低到23%,或通过添加菜粕和棉粕将饲料鱼粉含量降低到34%.  相似文献

Purified egg white diets containing incremental levels of copper (as CuSO4·5 H2O) were fed to fingerling channel catfish (Ictalurus punctatus) to determine their dietary copper (Cu) requirement. Catfish in aquaria were fed diets containing 0, 2, 4, 6, 8 or 10 mg of supplemental copper/kg diet for 13 weeks. Growth and feed efficiency data, as well as hemoglobin, hematocrit and erythrocyte count values were similar for catfish fed the basal diet which contained 0.89 mg Cu/kg diet and all copper-supplemented diets. A diet containing 40 mg of supplemental copper/kg was also fed in this experiment since 16 and 32 mg of supplemental copper/kg had previously been reported to cause suppressed growth of channel catfish. Those fed the 40 mg of supplemental copper/kg diet had similar growth and feed efficiency values as catfish fed the other diets. At the end of week 13, heart cytochrome c oxidase and liver copper—zinc superoxide dismutase activities were significantly reduced in catfish fed diets containing 0 and 2 mg of supplemental copper/kg as compared to those fed 4 mg/kg or more of supplemental copper. Based on the enzymatic data, the minimum dietary copper requirement of channel catfish was determined to be approximately 5 mg of total copper/kg diet.  相似文献

Fingerling channel catfish (Ictalurus punctatus) were fed purified diets containing varying levels of manganese for 13 weeks in two experiments. Weight gain and feed efficiency data of catfish fed the basal diet (2.4 mg Mn/kg diet) were not significantly different from those of catfish fed manganese-supplemented diets in both experiments. Liver manganese superoxide dismutase activity, liver manganese concentration, serum alkaline phosphatase activity and hexosamine content of gill filament cartilage did not differ in catfish fed basal and manganese-supplemented diets. Bone manganese concentration increased almost linearly with increasing dietary manganese levels. The 2.4 mg Mn/kg supplied by the basal diet was apparently sufficient to meet the manganese requirement of fingerling channel catfish during these experiments.  相似文献

Nine-week laboratory feeding experiments were conducted to evaluate partial substitution of animal protein sources into a 32% protein soybean-meal-corn basal diet for channel catfish (Ictalurus punctatus) fingerlings. In the first experiment, substitution of 5, 10, 20, and 40% menhaden fish meal into the basal diet resulted in increases in weight, protein, and fat gains as fish mean was increased to 20% (P < 0.05), and an increase in fat gain as fish meal was increased to 40% (P < 0.05). In the second experiment, the basal diet was supplemented with 5 and 10% fish meal or isonitrogenous amounts of protein from meat and bone meal (5.6 and 11.3%), blood meal (3.4 and 6.8%), and a 60:40 combination of meat and bone and blood meals (5 and 10%). Weight, protein, and fat gains were improved (P < 0.10) when the lower level of each animal protein, except blood meal, was substituted into the basal diet. Increasing the dietary level of each animal protein, except blood meal, improved gains over those from diets containing the lower level of the animal protein (P < 0.10). Fish meal improved gains more than isonitrogenous levels of the other animal proteins at both dietary levels (P < 0.10). Estimated amino-acid contents of the diets indicate that the increase in growth produced by including fish meal may be explained on the basis of increasing dietary levels of the most limiting amino acids; however, the increase in growth effected by including the other animal protein sources in the diet cannot be explained on that basis. Food consumption during the first 3 days of experiment indicated that inclusion of fish meal, meat and bone meal, or the meat and bone-meal-blood-meal combination improved diet palatability.  相似文献

Six isonitrogenous diets (420 g kg?1 crude protein on dry matter basis) with six levels of soybean meal (SBM) inclusion (0, 112, 225, 336, 449 and 560 g kg?1) in substitution of fish meal (0%, 20%, 40%, 60%, 80% and 100%) were evaluated in Chinese sucker of 1.81 ± 0.01 g initial weight for 8 weeks. There existed a significant difference (P < 0.001) in fish weight gain, feed conversion ratio, feed intake, protein efficiency ratio and specific growth rate when the replacement level for fish meal protein was increased from 40% to 60%, indicating that up to 40% of fish meal protein could be replaced with SBM protein without causing reduction in growth and protein utilization. Lipid contents in the Chinese sucker body decreased significantly (P < 0.001) as dietary SBM increased. Digestive enzyme activities in the intestine and hepatopancreas of the fish were significantly different (P < 0.001) as the SBM protein replacement level was increased. Results of the present study appear to indicate that 40% FM can be replaced by SBM in practical feeds of Chinese sucker.  相似文献

The present study was conducted to determine the minimum dietary iron (Fe) requirement of fingerling channel catfish (Ictalurus punctatus). Purified egg white diets containing supplemental iron (as FeSO4 · 7 H2O) levels ranging from 0 to 50 mg/kg were fed to catfish in aquaria for 10 weeks. Catfish fed the basal diet which contained 9.6 mg Fe/kg diet exhibited suppressed growth and feed efficiency, as well as reduced hemoglobin, hematocrit, plasma iron, transferrin saturation and erythrocyte count values. Normal growth and feed efficiency were observed for catfish fed 10 mg or more of supplemental iron/kg; however, 20 mg supplemental iron/kg was required to maintain optimum hematological values. Based on these data, the dietary iron requirement of fingerling channel catfish was determined to be not more than 30 mg Fe/kg diet.  相似文献

With a well‐developed olfactory system and taste buds located inside the mouth and on the external body surface, catfishes are excellent subjects to investigate nonconsumptive predator effects. Juvenile channel catfish Ictalurus punctatus are often eaten by largemouth bass Micropterus salmoides, and we tested the hypothesis that largemouth bass fed catfish would adversely affect foraging and growth in channel catfish. Groups of catfish were placed in tanks partitioned by a mesh screen: experimental tanks had a largemouth bass on the other half of the tank, and control tanks had an empty chamber. Experimental catfish exhibited a long‐term decrease in spontaneous motion, feeding and growth. Feeding catfish to the bass caused the experimental catfish to freeze after a multi‐second latency suggesting transport of an alarm cue. Thus, there were long‐term effects from the continuous presence of the bass and additional short‐term cues from the bass consuming a catfish.  相似文献

In an 8-week trial, 300-g channel catfish (Ictalurus punctatus) were fed at five feeding rates: a control group which was fed at a rate that approximated the ad libitum rate for this size fish, and four groups which were fed at 110, 90, 75 and 50% of the control rate. Significant decreases in growth and feed conversion (feed/gain) rates were obtained in treatments fed 110% of the control rate. Water quality monitoring indicated that this reduction in performance was not due to poorer water quality. Gains were not significantly affected by feeding 90% of the control level, but were reduced in the 75 and 50% treatments. Food efficiencies were improved by reduction of the feeding rate to 90 and 75% of the control level, but were not further improved at the 50% feeding level. Total absorbability and digestible energy values for the test diet were improved by restricting the rate to 90% of the control, but protein absorbability was not affected.  相似文献

为探讨红螯螯虾幼虾的饲料豆粕替代鱼粉的适宜替代量,配制5种不同替代水平(0、40%、60%、80%和100%)的等氮等能饲料,饲喂初重(0.53±0.06)g的红螯螯虾幼虾8周,测定其生长性能、肌肉组成、肝胰腺消化酶活力及抗氧化活力。结果显示,豆粕替代鱼粉对螯虾存活率没有显著影响;与对照组相比,豆粕替代鱼粉的替代量为40%~80%时,红螯螯虾幼虾的增重率和特定生长率没有显著变化;替代量为100%时,螯虾增重率和特定生长率显著下降,螯虾肌肉的蛋白质含量呈现一定程度的下降;豆粕替代鱼粉对螯虾肌肉的脂肪和灰分含量没有显著影响;随着替代量的增加,螯虾肝胰腺胰蛋白酶活力呈现下降的趋势,当替代量为100%时,胰蛋白酶活力显著下降;豆粕替代鱼粉对螯虾肝胰腺脂肪酶、淀粉酶和超氧化物歧化酶(SOD)活力均没有显著影响;替代量为100%时,螯虾肝胰腺总抗氧化活力(T-AOC)显著下降。结果表明,豆粕替代鱼粉的替代量为40%~80%时,对螯虾的生长性能、肌肉组成、消化酶活力和抗氧化活力均没有显著影响,替代量为100%时,显著抑制螯虾的生长、胰蛋白酶活力和T-AOC。根据本试验结果,建议红螯螯虾幼虾饲料中豆粕替代鱼粉的替代量为80%。  相似文献

为研究发酵豆粕替代鱼粉对凡纳滨对虾(Litopenaeus vannamei)生长、肌肉成分和血淋巴非特异性免疫的影响,设计了鱼粉含量为21%的对照组饲料,以三种发酵豆粕W305、W738和Y647等蛋白替代对照组饲料中6%的鱼粉,配制成4种等氮饲料,投喂平均体质量5.1 g的凡纳滨对虾42 d。结果表明:1)各处理组在成活率上无显著差异,对照组具有最高的增重率;在发酵豆粕组中,以Y647组的增重率最高,饲料系数最低,并达到对照组基本一致的水平;W305和W738组的增重率较对照组显著降低,饲料系数显著增高;2)在肌肉成分方面,各组水分和粗蛋白含量无显著差异,与对照组相比,W305组肌肉粗脂肪含量显著增高,Y647组肌肉粗灰分含量显著降低;3)三个发酵豆粕组的血淋巴酚氧化酶(PO)活性和W305组的总超氧化物歧化酶(T-SOD)活性均显著高于对照组。结果表明,发酵豆粕Y647可替代饲料中6%的鱼粉而不影响凡纳滨对虾生长性能,并可提高血淋巴PO活性。  相似文献

本研究旨在探究不同饲料料型及投喂频率对斑点叉尾鮰(Ictalurus punctatus)生长及肌肉品质的影响。研究采用双因素试验设计,以饲料料型(膨化饲料,EF;颗粒饲料,PF)和投喂频率(2次/日,F2;3次/日,F3)为影响因素,共4个组,分别命名为EFF2、PFF2、EFF3和PFF3,每组3个平行,投喂8周,每天定时投喂两次(7:30和16:30)或3次(7:30, 12:00, 16:30)。结果显示,斑点叉尾鮰的末重和增重率受到投喂频率的影响,F2组显著高于F3组(P0.05);而饲料料型则对斑点叉尾鮰的生长无显著影响(P0.05)。颗粒饲料组的肌肉粗脂肪含量和内聚性、回复性显著低于膨化饲料组(P0.05),而硬度显著高于膨化饲料组(P0.05)。F3组的肌肉硬度、胶着性和咀嚼性则显著高于F2组(P0.05)。颗粒饲料组生肌调节因子5 (myogenic factor 5, Myf5)和肌肉生长抑制素(myostatin,MSTN)基因的相对表达量显著低于膨化饲料组(P0.05)。F3组肌肉中MSTN基因相对表达量显著高于F2组,而肌细胞生成素(myogenin,MyoG)基因相对表达量则呈现相反趋势。综上,投喂同种配方的膨化饲料和颗粒饲料对斑点叉尾鮰的生长效果相似,但是投喂颗粒饲料的斑点叉尾鮰硬度更大,而投喂膨化饲料则肌肉脂肪含量更高;斑点叉尾鮰的最佳投喂频率是每天2次。  相似文献

在水库中选用8个网箱进行斑点叉尾鮰的养殖试验,网箱分为试验箱和对照箱2个组,每组设4个平行.在试验组的斑点叉尾鮰饲料中添加甘露寡糖进行投喂,甘露寡糖添加量为鱼体重的0.15‰,对照组不添加,试验时间60 d.结果表明,试验组斑点叉尾鮰成活率为94.51%,对照组为87.01%,高出7.5个百分点.随着投喂时间的延长,试验组斑点叉尾鮰的死亡率呈明显下降趋势,至试验结束时的第55~60天,死亡率比对照组的同一时间段下降了10倍;试验组斑点叉尾鮰体重的增加比对照组快16.5%,差异极显著(P<0.01).  相似文献

A 63‐day growth trial was conducted with northern snakehead Channa argus to evaluate how rapidly its growth performance and how reproducibly its gut microbiota respond to different dietary protein sources. Four diets were formulated with different levels of soybean meal as a replacement for fishmeal (0%, 25%, 50% and 75%). Each diet was fed to three replicates of juvenile C. argus (30 juveniles per replicate, initial weight 8.65 ± 0.25 g) to produce groups G1, G2, G3 and G4 respectively. During this trial, survival rate, growth performance and intestinal microbiota composition were determined on days 9, 21 and 63. At day 9, there was no effect of the dietary soybean meal on the final weight (Wt), weight gain (WG) and specific growth rate (SGR) between the four groups (p > 0.05). However, at day 21 (p < 0.05), they were significantly lower in G4 fish than that in G1 and G2. The highest Wt, WG and SGR were found in G1 and G2 fish, the lowest growth was found in G4 fish at day 63 (p < 0.05). Furthermore, higher operational taxonomic units (OTUs) and alpha diversity were found in G4. With the dietary soybean level increased, the proportion of Firmicutes, Bacteroidetes and Verrucomicrobia, as well as some genera of bacteria (Carnobacterium, Cetobacterium, Planctomyces, Shewanella and Thermomonas) significantly increased in the G3 and G4 fish (p < 0.05). However, the OTUs, Chao index, and the proportion of Firmicutes and some genera (Acinetobacter, Bacillus and Geobacillus) in G4 fish were significantly higher at days 21 and 63 than that at day 9 (p < 0.05). Taken together, in response to dietary soybean meal levels, dynamic and significant changes in microbiota occurred, which then ultimately attained a new equilibrium.  相似文献

鱼骨中蛋白质的存在会影响骨钙的吸收,将鱼骨中的蛋白提取出来加以利用,钙质保留在骨中,既充分利用了鱼骨中的蛋白质成分,又使高钙成分利于吸收,可以实现资源利用的"零废弃".试验在4℃条件下,斑点叉尾NFDAA(长吻NFDAA,Ictalurus punctatus)鱼骨先用0.1 mol · L-1的NaOH浸泡6 h,再用2.5%NaCl浸泡6 h去除杂蛋白,用10%的异丙醇溶液去除脂肪,0.1 mol · L-1的柠檬酸浸提3 d能较好的提取胶原蛋白,无色无味,提取率可达11.87%.粗提液再经盐析、透析可得到纯度较高的胶原蛋白制品.鱼骨胶原蛋白溶液的粘度随着蛋白浓度的增大而增大,其变性温度为33.9℃.SDS-PAGE试验结果表明,提取的NFDAA鱼骨胶原具有较高的纯度,含有2条α链,β链含量较高.提取胶原后的NFDAA鱼骨粉钙含量可达60%,作为钙添加剂加到饼干中,不会对饼干的口感和味道造成显著性差异,是良好的钙添加剂,可用于食品再加工.  相似文献

Three isonitrogenous and isocaloric rations containing various levels of commercially dehulled soybean meal as replacement for menhaden fish meal were fed to four replicate groups of channel catfish, Ictalurus punctatus (Rafinesque), fingerlings, mean initial live weight 13. 7 g, in 0.4-ha earthen ponds for 114 days. As fish meal was removed from the experimental diets, vegetable fat, soybean meal, and inorganic phosphorus were increased to maintain 35% crude protein, 11. 7 Mj of digestible energy (DE) per kg, and a minimum of 0.45% available phosphorus. The percentage of the whole body weight made up of dressed carcass, head, skin and viscera did not vary significantly among dietary treatments. Average values for dressed carcass, head, skin and viscera were 60.8%, 20.8%, 6.7% and 9.7%, respectively. The chemical composition of the various body parts was not significantly affected by diet. Average fat percentages for dressed carcass, head, skin, and viscera were 8.2%, 7.3%, 16.0% and 26.4%, respectively. Average protein percentage were 15.7%, 14.9%, 22.2% and 11.4%, respectively. These results indicate that varying the percentage of fat added to a practical catfish diet from 0% to 3.8%, but holding the DE constant, will not affect dressing percentage or body composition of the fed fish.  相似文献

为探讨豆粕替代鱼粉对牛蛙(Rana catesbeiana)生长性能、表观消化率、消化酶活性和肠道健康的影响,以基础饲料为对照,豆粕替代基础饲料中50%和100%的鱼粉形成3种等氮等能的试验饲料,分别记为FM、B1和B2组,饲喂初始体重为(40±0.3)g的牛蛙,进行为期30 d的摄食生长试验,测定增重率、特定生长率、饲料效率、营养物质消化率、蛋白酶、淀粉酶、脂肪酶等指标。结果显示:各组间牛蛙成活率无显著差异;豆粕替代鱼粉显著降低牛蛙的增重率、饲料效率和蛋白质效率,显著降低其对饲料干物质、蛋白质和总能的表观消化率。肠道消化酶分析结果显示,豆粕100%替代鱼粉显著降低了牛蛙空肠和回肠蛋白酶活性,B1和B2组牛蛙回肠脂肪酶活性显著低于FM组,淀粉酶活性显著高于FM组。对牛蛙肠道组织形态观察发现,豆粕替代鱼粉后肠道绒毛高度、肌层厚度和柱状上皮高度显著降低。豆粕替代鱼粉后肠道促炎因子IL-1β、IL-17、IL-8和TNF-αmRNA的表达量显著升高。结果表明,牛蛙饲料中大量使用豆粕会对其生长和饲料利用产生负面的影响,并诱导肠道炎症发生。  相似文献

The histopathologic effects of feeding heat‐treated soybean meal to fingerling channel catfish (Ictalurus punctatus) were studied. Fish were fed one of six diets: a diet containing 450 g kg?1 commercial soybean meal (CSBM), or diets with the CSBM replaced by non‐heat‐treated raw soybean meal (RSBM0), or RSBM heated at 130 °C for 5 min (RSBM5), 10 min (RSBM10), 20 min (RSBM20) or 40 min (RSBM40). After 10 weeks, tissue samples were taken from the stomach, proximal intestine, distal intestine, liver, pancreas and spleen from fish in each group for histologic examination. Mild necrotic lesions were found in the gastric glands, pancreas and liver of fish in all the groups (treatment and control groups). Hepatic glycogen deposition was also observed in all the groups, and the spleen samples exhibited considerable brownish‐black pigment deposition around the splenic corpuscles and diffuse mild‐to‐moderate congestion in all of the groups. Generally, these histologic effects appeared to be equivocal between all of the groups, and no abnormalities were noted in the proximal or distal intestine. These findings suggest that feeding channel catfish a diet containing 450 g kg?1 non‐heat‐treated RSBM did not cause severe histologic changes associated with soybean meal anti‐nutritional factors as have been reported in salmonids.  相似文献

This study evaluated the suitability of commercially produced fermented soybean meal (FSBM) known as PepSoyGen?, in a plant‐based diet for Florida pompano, Trachinotus carolinus fingerlings. An 8‐week growth trial was conducted to evaluate the effect of four isonitrogenous and isolipidic diets containing 0, 206, 309 and 410 g/kg FSBM, replacing approximately 0%, 50%, 75% and 100% SBM (designated as Basal, FSBM 50, FSBM 75 and FSBM 100, respectively) on growth performance, body composition, serum biochemistry and morphological condition of liver and distal intestine of Florida pompano. There were no significant differences in final mean weight, percentage weight gain, thermal unit growth coefficient and feed conversion ratio in all treatments. For serum biochemistry analysis, there were no significant differences in total protein, albumin, glucose, cholesterol, bile acids, plasma alkaline phosphatase, alanine aminotransferase and aspartate aminotransferase activities in all treatments. Cellular infiltration, presence of goblet cells and the width of lamina propria in the distal intestine were partly improved in fish fed FSBM 75 and 100 compared to the fish fed FSBM 50 and basal diet. Glycogen granulation, inflammation and nuclear change condition in the liver of pompano were better as the inclusion of fermented product increased. Results of this study indicate that FSBM can be utilized as an alternative protein source and microbial fermentation process could improve the functional properties of SBM.  相似文献
