钼磷配合施用对甘蓝型油菜产量和子粒品质的影响   总被引:1,自引:1,他引:0  
利用酸性黄棕壤进行连续2年的盆栽试验,研究了钼肥和磷肥配合施用对甘蓝型油菜产量和子粒含油量、油产量、蛋白质含量、硫甙和芥酸含量以及脂肪酸组分等品质指标的影响。钼肥和磷肥各设置3个水平,分别为Mo 0、0.15、0.30 mg /kg土和P2O5 0、0.20、0.40 g /kg土,共9个处理。结果表明:施钼能够显著(P0.05)提高油菜子粒产量和生物学产量,显著增加油菜子粒含油量、油产量及油酸、亚油酸含量,降低子粒硫甙、亚麻酸和硬脂酸的含量;施磷则能够极显著提高子粒产量和子粒油产量,显著增加生物学产量和亚油酸含量,降低芥酸、硫甙及二十碳烯酸的含量;钼肥和磷肥对提高油菜子粒产量、油产量和油酸含量,降低芥酸含量存在显著(P0.05)的协同效应。因此,钼肥和磷肥在提高油菜产量、改善油菜子粒品质方面均具有良好的作用,且两者配合施用效果更好。  相似文献

氮、磷、钾、硼肥对甘蓝型油菜籽品质的影响   总被引:12,自引:2,他引:10  
以多个正在大面积应用的甘蓝型油菜品种为研究对象,在长江流域冬油菜主产区的10个省(市)布置氮、磷、钾和硼肥田间肥效试验共284组,通过多点试验分别探讨当前生产条件下施用氮、磷、钾、硼肥对双低和双高甘蓝型油菜籽含油量、蛋白质、芥酸、硫甙的影响。结果表明,双低油菜籽平均含油量为41.66%,双高油菜含油量明显低于双低油菜,仅为38.92%。氮、磷、钾和硼肥施用对油菜籽的品质效应在不同试验点表现不尽相同,其总体趋势是:在磷、钾、硼肥基础上施用氮肥提高籽粒蛋白质含量而降低油分含量,且随氮肥用量的增加效果更明显,施氮对双高油菜油分及蛋白质含量的影响程度大于双低油菜;施磷、钾或硼肥有提高油菜籽含油量而降低蛋白质含量的趋势;施肥对油菜籽硫甙和芥酸含量有一定影响,但对品质影响不大。油菜籽含油量与收获指数、千粒重显著正相关,与蛋白质含量呈负相关。研究结果显示,在施氮的基础上配合施用磷、钾和硼肥能减少因施氮引起的油分损失。  相似文献

硼、钼营养对甘蓝型油菜产量和品质影响的研究   总被引:11,自引:3,他引:11  
采用盆栽试验方法,研究施硼、钼和硼钼配施对两个油菜品种种子产量和品质的影响。结果表明,与对照相比,两品种3个处理(+B、+Mo、+B+Mo)的子粒产量均有显著的增产作用,中双6号(双低品种)增幅均达到显著水平,其中以+Mo处理增产效果最好;中油821(双高品种)+B和+B+Mo处理的增幅高于+Mo处理。单施硼肥(+B)和钼肥(+Mo),中双6号增产效果高于中油821;硼、钼配施(+B+Mo),中油821的增产效果好于中双6号。两个油菜品种含油量显著高于对照,其中+Mo处理增幅最大,中油821以+B处理增幅最大,但处理间差异均不显著;芥酸含量较对照明显下降,中双6号以+Mo和+B+Mo处理降低显著,分别下降了1.0和0.8个百分点,中油821下降幅度为1.4~6.4个百分点,以+B、+B+Mo处理下降较为显著;中双6号硫甙含量较对照下降1.5%~13.1%,其中+Mo和+B+Mo处理差异显著,中油821降幅为9.0%~29.1%,差异均达显著水平。本文的研究结果表示,硼、钼营养有利于油菜子粒产量的提高和品质的改善,但影响的程度在不同品种中存在差异。  相似文献

为了研究施肥对油菜产量效果、经济效益和品质效益的影响,在豫南稻-油轮作地区,以双低品种和双高品种油菜为研究对象,农民习惯施肥为对照,研究了平衡施肥处理(NPKB),缺氮(-N)、缺磷(-P)、缺钾(-K)和缺硼(-B)对油菜产量效果、经济效益和品质效益的影响。结果表明,两个品种平衡施肥处理(NPKB)的产量和经济效益均最高,农民习惯施肥产量和经济效益显著低于平衡施肥处理(NPKB)。徳油8号产量降低29%,收益减少1 290元/hm~2,施肥效益降低25%;中油821产量降低32%,收益减少2 225元/hm~2,施肥经济效益降低51%。氮、磷、钾、硼任一元素缺乏,均显著降低油菜产量和经济效益,双低油菜徳油8号的产量分别降低了32%、14%、20%、17%,施肥经济效益分别减少了1 544、401、626、1 310元/hm~2;双高油菜中油821产量分别降低了44%、27%、16%、35%,施肥经济效益分别减少了2 122、1 151、166、2 471元/hm~2;两个品种平衡施肥处理(NPKB)的含油量显著高于其他处理,硫甙和芥酸含量显著低于其他处理。相同的施肥条件下,徳油8号产量比中油821高6.1%~43.4%,产值增加365~1 987元/hm~2,施肥经济效益提高8%~52%。说明在相同的施肥及栽培条件下,双低油菜比双高油菜高产高效,在豫南稻-油轮作区油菜种植中应选择双低油菜品种,并重视氮、磷、钾、硼的合理配施,以获得高产高效,提升油菜籽品质。  相似文献

以油研9号、10号为材料,研究不同氮肥施用水平对优质杂交油菜8个品质性状的影响,结果表明:氮肥对优质杂交油菜的含油率、芥酸、硫甙、种子蛋白质产生极显著的影响,对油酸影响不显著。对亚油酸、亚麻酸、花生烯酸的影响因品种而显著程度不同。含油率与施氮量间呈极显著的负相关,芥酸、花生烯酸与施氮量间呈极显著正相关,亚麻酸与施氮量间呈显著或极显著正相关,硫甙、亚油酸与施氮量间呈显著或极显著负相关,油酸与施氮量间呈不显著或显著正相关;各品质性状与施氮量间的相关性是完全一致的,只是相关显著程度不同。各品质性状间含油率与硫甙呈极显著正相关,与种子蛋白质呈极显著负相关。芥酸与种子蛋白质、亚麻酸、花生烯酸间均呈极显著正相关。硫甙与种子蛋白质、花生烯酸呈极显著负相关,与亚油酸呈显著正相关。种子蛋白质与花生烯酸呈极显著正相关。其它品质性状间的相关性是完全一致的,只是相关的显著程度不同。在本试验的土壤肥力条件和施氮水平范围内,获得最高产量和油产量的施氮量分别为210.kg/hm2和195.kg/hm2,且在获得高产时完全可保证油和饼粕的品质优良。  相似文献

以甘蓝型常规油菜品种中油821(双高品种)为对照,通过盆栽试验研究了不同硼水平对甘蓝型双低油菜华双4号子粒产量和品质的影响。结果看出,两个油菜品种在缺硼条件下,施硼量从B 0.3 mg/kg增加到B 2.5 mg/kg时,单株角果数、每角粒数和子粒产量显著增加,但增加到B 5.0 mg/kg时,每株角果数、每角粒数和子粒产量显著降低,硼过量影响产量建成。在硼缺乏和硼过量条件下,华双4号的减产程度均高于中油821,表明双低优质油菜华双4号对缺硼和硼过量的反应较常规双高油菜中油821敏感。硼缺乏或过量时,两个品种子粒含油量和油酸含量均表现降低的趋势,而蛋白质含量呈增加趋势。本试验的结果表明,合理施用硼肥对子粒产量的影响大于对品质的影响,而高产优质品种华双4号更应注重硼肥的合理施用;我国栽培油菜的土壤有效硼的适宜浓度可以提高至B 1.0 mg/kg.但硼肥的安全施用应当控制在土壤有效硼含量为B 2.5 mg/kg以下。  相似文献

施用氮、磷和钾营养对优质玉米子粒产量和营养品质有明显的影响。氮磷钾营养平衡施用(NPK)较不施氮(PK)、不施磷(NK)和不施钾(NP)显著增加优质玉米产量,使高油玉米(农大115)分别增产15.9%、6.9%和12.1%,使高淀粉玉米(白玉109)依次增产20.3%、8.6%和12.7%。施氮能增加高油和高淀粉玉米子粒蛋白质、醇溶蛋白和清蛋白含量;施磷或施钾能增加高油玉米子粒蛋白质、醇溶蛋白和清蛋白含量以及氨基酸和必需氨基酸含量,而对高淀粉玉米子粒蛋白质及其组分含量基本无或较小影响。施氮使高油玉米子粒氨基酸和必需氨基酸含量提高0.83和0.41个百分点,使高淀粉玉米提高1.18和0.36个百分点;施氮、施磷和施钾增加高油和高淀粉玉米淀粉总量和支链淀粉含量,降低直链淀粉含量。施氮能增加高油和高淀粉玉米子粒油分、亚油酸和油酸含量,使高油玉米分别增加0.83、0.41和0.30个百分点,使高淀粉玉米分别增加0.34、0.18和0.13个百分点,而施磷或施钾对两品种子粒油分、亚油酸和油酸含量的影响不明显。  相似文献

通过水泥池小区试验,研究了B、Mo、Zn配合对甘蓝型油菜双低品种华双4号产量和品质的影响。结果表明,B、Mo、Zn配合产量最高,比对照增产20.7%;两种微量元素配合时,以BMo配合最佳,其产量与BMoZn配合差异不显著,BZn或MoZn配合仅比对照略有增产。BMoZn配合的每角粒数居各处理首位,每株角果数居第二,BMo配合的每株角果数和千粒重处于各处理首位。试验还表明,凡有配施硼的处理,即:BMo、BZn和BMoZn,有利于提高华双4号菜籽的含油量;凡配施锌的处理,即:MoZn、BZn和BMoZn,有利于提高华双4号菜籽的蛋白质含量。微量元素的各种配合均可降低华双4号菜籽的硫甙、芥酸含量;BZn配合具有最高的油酸含量,较低的棕榈酸、硬脂酸、亚油酸和亚麻酸含量,对改善华双4号菜籽的脂肪酸组分配比最为有利。对于双高(高硫甙、高芥酸)油菜,只考虑提高其产量及含油量,以BMo配合较好;而对优质的双低(低硫甙、低芥酸)油菜,其饼粕所含的蛋白质可以直接作为动物饲料,因此在提高其产量、含油量,改善油分品质的同时,还要兼顾其蛋白质含量,则以BMoZn配合效果最好。  相似文献

为探明不同氮效率油菜产量和品质对供氮水平的反应动态,揭示油菜氮效率与品质的关系,本文采用砂培试验,研究了两种氮效率油菜品种在06、3、6、12、15 mmol/L 5种不同氮水平下(用N1N5表示)的氮效率、子粒产量和品质的变化。结果表明, 随着供氮水平的提高,油菜子粒产量、油分产量和蛋白质含量增加,氮效率和油分含量下降; 而子粒脂肪酸组成变化较小,所测定的7种脂肪酸中,芥酸和花生烯酸含量随着氮水平的增加略有下降,棕榈酸、硬脂酸、油酸、亚油酸和亚麻酸含量则没有明显的变化; 与氮低效品种相比,氮高效品种的子粒产量、芥酸和花生烯酸含量随供氮水平的变化幅度更大,油分含量下降幅度更小。所有氮水平下,氮高效品种的子粒产量、油分含量和油分产量均高于氮低效品种,亚油酸含量略高于而亚麻酸含量略低于氮低效品种,子粒蛋白质、棕榈酸、硬脂酸、油酸含量两品种没有差异。总之,提高氮水平有利于增加油分产量,氮高效品种的增加幅度大于氮低效品种,但对脂肪酸组成的影响较小。因此,氮高效品种不会因高效吸收利用氮素而降低油分含量或使油菜品质变劣。  相似文献

大豆不同品种对低磷胁迫和磷肥效应有显著的遗传差异。低磷胁迫下,苗期植株叶片酸性磷酸酶活性(APA)和叶面积与品种的子粒产量呈极显著相关;APA、叶面积、干物质量和氮积累量与生物学产量呈显著或极显著相关。但在施磷条件下,它们之间则无相关关系。这表明APA、叶面积、干物质量和氨积累量可作为耐低磷基因型的筛选指标。试验表明,耐低磷能力弱的品种对磷肥反应更为敏感。在低磷和施磷条件下产量均较高的品种也是存在的,它们对不同的磷素营养环境有着广泛的适应性,进一步挖掘这类基因型很有意义。  相似文献

Rapeseed (Brassica napus) is one of main oil crops in the world and also a potential bioenergy crop. Because of the sensitivity of Brassica napus to boron (B) deficiency and the wide distribution of low available-B soils in main areas of rapeseed production, more and more attention is being paid to the effect of B nutrition on yield and quality of rapeseed and its regulation mechanism. In this study, a field plot trial was conducted to examine the effects of B on dynamic changes of seed yield and quality formation in developing rapeseed. The results showed that B significantly increased seed yield compared with the low B control, which was attributed to an increase in the number of seeds per pod and pods per plant. During the seed development period, dry matter accumulation of seed followed a typical S-shaped curve at the two B treatments, but seed weight accumulated faster in plants supplied with sufficient B than those with low B. The dry weight of the podwall in high B treatment showed rapid increase at the early stage of seed development and decreased rapidly in later periods compared with low B. This suggested that applying B improved the accumulation of seed dry matter in early stages of seed development and substance transport from podwall to seed in later stages, which resulted in high seed yield. No significant effect of B on oil content, erucic acid and glucosinolate contents was found. However, B maintained a lower level of erucic acid and glucosinolate contents at whole seed development process and resulted in a lower ratio of erucic acid (22:1)/oleic acid (18:1) compared with that of low B treatment. These results suggested that application of B could heighten seed yield and improve oil quality for rapeseed in soils with low available B.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

The feasibility of split (soil + foliar) applications of nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P) and addition of a small quantity of sulfur (S) in the spray was tested for improving performance of rapeseed-mustard genotypes in a factorial randomized field experiment. Three genotypes (two erucic acid free, viz. Brassica napus L. cv. ‘Hyola PAC – 401’ and Brassica juncea L. Czern. and Coss. cv. ‘TERI (0E) M 21-Swarna’, and one best performing high yielding Brassica juncea L. cv. ‘Rohini’ as a check) were grown with four soil (B) plus foliar (F) applications of N, P, and S with uniform basal 30 kg potassium (K) ha? 1 (K30), viz. (i) the optimum soil-applied treatment supplemented with the spray of deionized water (BN90P30 + Fw) comprising control, (ii) BN70P30 + F N20, (iii) BN70P28 + FN20P2, and (iv) BN70P28 + FN20P2S2. Soil Plus foliar application of nutrients, particularly BN70P28 + FN20P2S2, improved their performance with respect to growth characteristics (shoot length plant? 1, leaf number plant? 1, area leaf? 1, leaf area index, fresh weight plant? 1, and dry weight plant? 1), physico-biochemical parameters (net photosynthetic rate, stomatal conductance, carboxylation efficiency, water use efficiency, carbonic anhydrase activity, leaf NPK content, and N use efficiency), yield attributes (pod number plant? 1, seed number pod? 1, 1000-seed weight, seed yield ha? 1, oil content, and oil yield ha? 1), and fatty acid composition in oil of these genotypes. The cultivar ‘Hyola PAC-401’ performed best particularly with BN70P28 + FN20P2S2. The improvement in the response of genotypes to the split application of nutrients may be attributed to their ready availability through foliar application.  相似文献

通过在姜堰地区的大田试验,研究了不同施肥处理条件下油菜产量及籽粒品质的变化.试验设10个肥料处理:对照(不施肥,CK),缺氮(PKB)、缺磷(NKB)、缺钾(NPB)处理,大量营养元素平衡施肥处理(NPK)、增施微量营养元素处理(NPKB、NPKBZn),不同氮肥施用量处理(1/2N+PKB、3/2N+PKB、2N+PKB).结果表明:①缺失氮、磷、钾中任何一种养分时均能降低油菜产量,且当氮肥施用量为N 18 kg/667m2时,产量最高,而硼和锌肥对油菜增产没有显著效果.②在氮、磷、钾缺素处理中,油菜硫甙含量大小顺序为NKB> PKB> NPB,芥酸含量大小顺序为PKB>NKB>NPB,油菜含油量没有显著变化,油酸含量为NPB>NKB>PKB,蛋白质含量在PKB处理下最低.③在NPK处理平衡施肥条件下,施加硼肥能显著降低硫甙和芥酸含量,显著增加油菜含油量、油酸、蛋白质含量;继续增施锌肥对油菜含油量没有显著影响,但能进一步显著降低硫甙和芥酸含量,并显著提高油菜油酸和蛋白质含量;④油菜硫甙对氮肥施用量具有拐点效应.油菜芥酸含量随着氮肥施用量的增加而显著降低.氮肥施用过高(2N+PKB)显著降低含油量.氮肥施用量对蛋白质的影响趋势和油酸一致,即先随施氮量(< 12 kg/667m2)的增加而显著增加,而进一步增施氮肥则没显著变化.  相似文献

In order to investigate the effects of nitrogen (N) and zinc (Zn) fertilizers on seed yield, oil percentage, glucosinolate content, and nutrient uptake of canola (Brassica napus L. cv. Okapi), irrigated with saline and ultra-saline water, field experiments were conducted in Agriculture Research Centre of East Azarbaijan, Iran, during three consecutive years: 2011, 2012, and 2013. The experiments were carried out based on randomized complete block design arranged in factorial with three replications. The experimental treatments included N rates at three levels (0, 50, and 100 kg ha?1), Zn rates at three levels (0, 5, and 10 kg ha?1), and saline water at two levels (8 and 16 dS m?1 as saline and ultra-saline water). According to the results, N and Zn application had a significant effect on the plant height, pod number per plant, and seed yield. However, the value of these traits decreased as a result of the higher salinity level (from 8 to 16 dS m?1). From the results, the glucosinolate content was not affected by N or Zn fertilization, whereas, salinity increased the glucosinolate content from 27.51% to 30.06% when saline water and ultra-saline water were applied, respectively. In addition, the effect of ultra-saline water on the decrease in the N, phosphorous, potassium, and calcium uptake and the increase in the sodium and chlorine accumulation in canola seed was significant. However, Zn application could diminish adverse effects of salinity on phosphorus uptake. For instance, under ultra-saline water conditions, application of 10 kg ha?1 Zn increased the seed phosphorus content compared with control treatment. In general, it seems that nutrients’ supply, especially N and Zn, can be considered as an effective solution to diminish adverse effects of salinity.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

Plant species and genotypes within one species may significantly differ in phosphorus (P) uptake and utilization when they suffer from P starvation. The objective of this research was to screen P-efficient germplasm of oilseed rape (Brassica napus L.) and analyze the possible mechanism responsible for P efficiency by two-steps screening experiments and validation of P efficiency. Phosphorus efficiency coefficient at seedling stage, namely, ratio of shoot dry weight under low P to that under adequate P (PECS) of 194 oilseed rape cultivars varied from 0.050 to 0.62 and was significantly related with shoot dry weight under low P level (r = 0.859??, P < 0.01). Oilseed rape cultivar ‘Eyou Changjia’ presented the highest P efficiency coefficient in each growth stage and had the highest seed yield at low P, whereas oilseed rape cultivar ‘B104-2’ was the most sensitive to low P stress among the 12 candidate cultivars obtained from the two-steps screening experiments. Under low P condition in validation experiments of soil and solution cultures, ‘Eyou Changjia’ could produce much more dry matter and acquire more P than ‘B104-2.’ Moreover, P efficient coefficient obtained from the pot experiment was comparable to those from the field experiment. This might be attributed to high P uptake efficiency for ‘Eyou Changjia’ when it suffered from low-P stress. Comparison of results from the hydroponics with those from the pot and field experiments led to the conclusion that the P uptake efficiency in the hydroponics is highly related to that in soil culture conditions. These results show that there are large genotypic differences in response to phosphorus deficiency in oilseed rape germplasm (Brassica napus L.) and ‘Eyou Changjia’ is P-efficient and ‘B104-2’ is P-inefficient. By comparing these results further, the mechanism responsible for P efficiency was suggested to be mainly due to high P uptake efficiency by forming larger root system, and improving the ability of mobilizing and acquiring soil P in P-efficient oilseed rape under the condition of P starvation.  相似文献

Oil cultivars of Brassica napus L. were grown to compare the effects of composted municipal waste (CMW) and sheep manure (SM) to field soil (C0). To each soil group, one of three levels of urea nitrogen fertilizer (N) was added. SM grown plants had higher N than those grown in CMW with the Sarigol cultivar having a higher N content than the RGS cultivar. Field soil plants grown in control soil had lowest N levels. Organic amendments increased N content of both cultivars. SM grown plants produced more siliques, a higher seed yield, and greater 100 seed weight compared to those grown in CMW. Control soil plants had the lowest number of siliques, seed yield, and 100 seed weight. CMW-treated plants contained slightly more metals than SM plants. Field soil plants had the lowest metal levels. CMW and SM application had potential to improve the growth and chemical composition without adding urea.  相似文献

Mean individual fatty acid concentration among differentspecies of the family Cruciferae are not similar because of the presence ofdifferent kind of significant relationship among the individual fatty acids.Brassica napus L., Sinapis alba L.,Raphanus caudatus L.f. Raphanus sativusL. and B. nigra (L.) Koch arecomparatively low erucic acid (<40%) containing species. Crambeabyssinica Hochst. ex. R. E. Fries collections gave as high as 60%erucic acid. Low erucic acid concentration was found associated with thepresence of high level of palmitic and oleic acid concentrations. Erucic acidconcentrations were found varied within the range of 42 to 57% among thecollections of Brassica rapa L. and B.carinata A. Braun. All the collections ofB. nigra (L.) Koch were found to havehigher proportion of linoleic acid than the corresponding oleic acidconcentration. Linolenic acid concentrations of B.nigra (L.) Koch was also higher in comparison to otherspecies of the Cruciferae. Raphanus collections were foundto contain higher levels of total saturated fatty acids as well as eicosenoicacid. Oil content of the total collections under present study did not show anysignificant relationship either with linolenic acid or with erucic acidconcentration. But significant positive relationship was observed between totaloil and erucic acid level within the collections of B.juncea Czern. & Coss. Similarly significant negativecorrelation was observed between total oil and linolenic acid content inBrassica rapa L. ssp. trilocularis (Roxb.) Hanelt, yellow sarson.  相似文献

【目的】探讨高密度直播油菜(36×104plant/hm2)的合理氮肥管理措施。【方法】2011-2012年油菜季选用甘蓝型油菜品种德油6号,在成都平原稻-油轮作区开展了氮肥施用量、施氮方式对油菜产量、品质和氮肥利用率影响的大田试验。氮肥施用量试验在相同施氮方式(底肥+1次苗期追肥)下设置5个施氮水平(N 0、90、180、270和360 kg/hm2);施氮方式试验在同等施氮量(N 225 kg/hm2)条件下,设置3种施氮方式(一次性底施、底肥+1次苗期追肥、底肥+2次苗期追肥)。【结果】直播油菜农艺性状都随施氮量增多而呈增加趋势,而施氮方式对株高、一次分枝数和单株角果数无显著影响。增施氮肥可显著提高油菜籽粒产量和菜油产量,含油率则有所下降。随施氮量增加,油菜籽芥酸含量呈上升趋势,而硫甙含量略呈降低趋势。施氮方式对油菜籽含油率、芥酸和硫甙含量均无显著影响。油菜产量和氮肥贡献率(NCR)都随施氮量(90 270 kg/hm2)加大而提高,当施氮量继续增加(360kg/hm2)时却出现明显下降。但180与270 kg/hm2两施氮量处理间的油菜产量、氮肥贡献率(NCR)和氮肥表观利用率(REN)均无显著差异。随施氮量增加,氮肥农学利用率(AEN)、氮肥偏生产力(PFPN)和氮肥表观利用率(REN)表现出明显降低趋势。当施氮量≥270 kg/hm2时,氮肥农学利用率(AEN)、氮肥偏生产力(PFPN)和氮肥表观利用率(REN)均显著低于90 kg/hm2处理。同等施氮量下,氮肥分期施用可以提高直播油菜籽粒产量和菜油产量,并以底追两次施氮相对较高。底追两次施氮方式的氮肥利用率(AEN、PFPN、NCR、REN)均相对高于其他施氮方式。【结论】在本试验中等肥力条件下,高密度直播油菜(36×104plant/hm2)的合理氮肥施用模式为施氮量180kg/hm2和底追两次施氮方式。  相似文献

Salinity is a major constraint hampering germination and early seedling growth, especially in aged seed lots. Any rejuvenation treatment improving salt resistance at these crucial developmental stages will be of special interest. Two sets of experiments were performed in Brassica napus to precise the impact of vermicompost leachate (VCL) on seed germination in the presence of NaCl and to analyze its putative interest as seed priming agent before NaCl exposure. Two seed lots were used: one old seed lot (cv. Libomir) and a recent one (cv. Harry). VCL increased the germination percentage of aged seeds in the absence of NaCl and increased seedling length in both cultivars. VCL had only a minor impact when directly added to the NaCl-containing germinating solution. In contrast, priming with VCL strongly improved subsequent germination in the presence of NaCl in relation to a more efficient management of oxidative stress in both cultivars. The improvement of salinity resistance provided by VCL priming was not due to modification in ion or proline content. It is concluded that VCL may act as a rejuvenation agent invigoring old seed lots and as an efficient priming agent for improvement of salinity resistance at the germination stage. Valuable properties of VCL are discussed in relation to the simultaneous presence of several protecting compounds.  相似文献
