Where agriculture has recently been imposed on natural systems, habitats that are modified, but not destroyed, within the agricultural matrix, are often, undervalued for their conservation benefits. Ecological research in the agricultural matrix in such landscapes has been limited in many countries. Yet many organisms live and breed in these landscapes. This paper outlines a large-scale case study of the vulnerable superb parrot that breeds in trees in the agricultural matrix of south-eastern Australia. Superb parrot nest trees were located, measured and compared with a set of randomly chosen non-nest trees. Increasing tree diameter had the largest influence over whether a superb parrot nested in a tree. There was a strong preference for nesting in dead trees and Blakely's red gum. There was limited eucalypt regeneration surrounding trees. The large size and poor health of nest trees requires urgent habitat management to provide alternative nest sites and regenerate trees across the whole agricultural matrix. This will require a long-term vision on the scale of centuries.  相似文献

以往的研究表明有机管理有利于生物多样性保护,但在不同农业生境类型中是否都存在这个结论呢?基于此问题,本研究在一个多生境的有机管理农场与一个相邻的多生境常规集约化管理农区,采用陷阱法进行蜘蛛取样,对比有机和常规管理措施下大棚菜地、果园、稻田田埂、露天田块及农田边界等5种生境类型的农田蜘蛛多样性的差异,并分析土壤因子对蜘蛛多样性的影响。研究发现:1)有机管理与常规管理的蜘蛛物种数没有显著差异,但有机管理的果园中蜘蛛个体数比常规管理的果园中多139%,且差异显著。同一管理措施下,仅常规管理农田区的农田边界蜘蛛个体数和物种数分别显著高于其他生境均值104%和59%。2)有机管理农场比常规管理农田的蜘蛛物种组成差异略大,且在有机管理下不同生境间的蜘蛛群落组成差异更明显。3)土壤因子中有机质、全氮、全磷含量等对蜘蛛群落结构有显著影响,但对蜘蛛个体数和物种数没有显著影响,仅土壤Cu含量和蜘蛛个体数呈显著负相关。在本研究中虽然有机管理和土壤因子对蜘蛛多样性有一定影响,但不同生境间管理强度、植被结构等差异对蜘蛛多样性的影响更大。因此,发展多种农业生境类型的有机农业可提升物种β多样性。同时,在常规集约化管理农区,保留农田边界等半自然生境、适当减少化肥和农药等投入、降低农田内部的管理强度、防止土壤重金属污染等措施均有助于保护蜘蛛多样性。  相似文献

The loss and fragmentation of forest habitats by human land use are recognised as important factors influencing the decline of forest-dependent fauna. Mammal species that are dependent upon forest habitats are particularly sensitive to habitat loss and fragmentation because they have highly specific habitat requirements, and in many cases have limited ability to move through and utilise the land use matrix. We addressed this problem using a case study of the koala (Phascolarctos cinereus) surveyed in a fragmented rural-urban landscape in southeast Queensland, Australia. We applied a logistic modelling and hierarchical partitioning analysis to determine the importance of forest area and its configuration relative to site (local) and patch-level habitat variables. After taking into account spatial autocorrelation and the year of survey, we found koala occurrence increased with the area of all forest habitats, habitat patch size and the proportion of primary Eucalyptus tree species; and decreased with mean nearest neighbour distance between forest patches, the density of forest patches, and the density of sealed roads. The difference between the effect of habitat area and configuration was not as strong as theory predicts, with the configuration of remnant forest becoming increasingly important as the area of forest habitat declines. We conclude that the area of forest, its configuration across the landscape, as well as the land use matrix, are important determinants of koala occurrence, and that habitat configuration should not be overlooked in the conservation of forest-dependent mammals, such as the koala. We highlight the implications of these findings for koala conservation.  相似文献

灌水次数对绿洲春玉米田氮素损失及水氮利用效率的影响   总被引:2,自引:3,他引:2  
该文研究灌水次数对绿洲农田氮素损失及水氮利用效率的影响。2015年在甘肃省武威市石羊河流域绿洲农田设置了5种灌溉施肥处理:分别为传统施肥(N_1)+传统灌水4次处理(I_1N_1),优化施肥(N_2)+优化灌水4~7次处理(分别为I_2N_2、I_3N_2、I_4N_2和I_5N_2)。应用农田水氮管理模型(soil water heat carbon and nitrogen simulator,WHCNS)模拟分析了不同灌水次数下的作物产量、水氮动态过程及水氮利用效率,最后应用综合指数法筛选了农田最佳的水肥管理方案。结果表明:模型模拟的土壤含水率、土壤硝态氮含量、作物产量和叶面积指数与实测值均吻合良好,一致性指数在0.74及以上。5个处理中I_3N_2处理的春玉米产量、水分和氮素利用效率均最高,分别为17 077 kg/hm~2、3.23 kg/m~3和40.1 kg/kg。I_1N_1处理的水分渗漏和硝态氮淋失量均最大,而I_5N_2处理的最小。在灌溉定额一定的条件下,随灌水次数增加,水分渗漏量逐渐减少,同时硝态氮淋洗和氨挥发也逐渐减少,而反硝化和作物吸氮量逐渐增加。综合指数法评价结果表明I_3N_2处理为该地区最佳的水肥管理方案。因此,在该地区适当增加灌水次数和减少单次灌水量,不仅可以维持作物产量不变,而且显著减少了水分渗漏和氮素淋洗,同时提高了水氮利用效率。结果可为荒漠绿洲地区制定合理的水肥管理措施提供指导。  相似文献

Surface runoff, soil loss, suspended sediment concentration (SSC), texture of eroded soils and suspended sediment were determined on slightly eroded chernozems (mouldboard fall-ploughed) during years with different amounts of snow in three areas of southern West Siberia (Predsalairye, Priobye and Kuznetsk hollow). These areas have different geomorphological and climatic characteristics and soils. Observations were made from 1969 to 2007. The soil loss during very low-snow and low-snow years did not exceed 2 t ha− 1. After winters with normal amounts of snow, the runoff led to slight soil loss (2–5 t ha− 1). Soil losses in high-snow and very high-snow years varied from slight to severe (4.8–15.8 t ha− 1) depending on studied area. The main sediment exported during intensive snowmelt and the 1 mm of runoff transported from 35 to 150 kg ha− 1 of soil material. The removal of soil particles < 0.01 mm (especially clay) prevailed during the initial and final stages of snowmelt. Clay removal by meltwater from the ploughed layer in high-snow and very high-snow years varied from 3300 to 4200 kg ha− 1 and, in the initial and final stages of snowmelt clay removal, accounted for 1260–1,500 kg ha− 1. Among the three studied regions, Predsalairye had decreased soil erosion resistance and was the area with the greatest danger of erosion.  相似文献

西南地区是典型的气候脆弱区,农业气象灾害多发、重发,抗灾能力弱,开展季节性干旱、暴雨洪涝、低温阴雨和高温热害等农业重大气象灾害监测与防控技术的集成应用,对促进农业减灾增产增效和农民增收具有重要的现实意义,对保障西南地区粮食安全、生态环境安全和农业农村经济可持续发展具有十分重要的作用。文章系统分析了西南地区农业重大气象灾害种类及其危害,指出重大农业气象灾害监测防控的重点和难点,一是加强农业和气象部门的结合,提高监测预警的准确性、时效性和实用性;二是加强技术集成创新,突破多灾种并发情况下的综合防控与避灾减灾技术;三是创新农业减灾成果转化应用机制,降低减灾综合成本,提高减灾综合效益。  相似文献

In countries with high human populations, using agricultural areas as multifunctional systems to produce food for humans and retain wildlife may be an efficient conservation strategy for many species. Inclusion of natural habitat and species requirements on agricultural landscapes explicitly into planning processes are precluded by lack of information on drivers of species persistence. Climate change is an additional emerging complexity, and adaptation plans for agricultural landscapes are biased towards intensification to secure long-range food production. I examine the conservation potential of an agricultural landscape in two districts of Uttar Pradesh, north India where agricultural intensification and altered rainfall patterns are predicted to occur. I assess stressors affecting breeding success over eight years of two large waterbirds of conservation concern – Sarus Cranes and Black-necked Storks. Both species had high breeding success that improved with total rainfall and more wetlands in breeding territories. Agricultural and township expansions deteriorated territory quality and reduced breeding success. Sarus Crane populations were predicted to decline relatively rapidly if development activities continued to displace breeding pairs. Black-necked Storks appeared resilient over the long-term notwithstanding reduced breeding success in low-rainfall years. Waterbird nesting habitats (wetlands and trees) were retained in Uttar Pradesh as community lands by villages and by state government via legal provisions suggesting the utility of multiple conservation approaches. Incorporating species requirements explicitly, alongside traditional land use practices conducive for habitat conservation, into adaptation planning and conservation policy will be necessary to retain long-term multifunctionality of such agricultural landscapes.  相似文献

为探明白银市平川区土壤硒分布规律和影响土壤中硒含量的因素,为保护和开发富硒土壤资源提供理论依据。我们在白银市平川区共采集土壤样本59个、农作物可食部分样品36个,通过检测分析土样全硒含量、土壤化学性状(铅、汞、镉、pH、有机质、有效硅、有效硼、有效铜、有效锌、有效铁、有效锰)与农作物可食部分全硒含量,研究了白银市平川区土壤与农作物全硒含量特征及其影响因素。结果表明:平川区土壤全硒平均含量为0.29 mg/kg,高出甘肃省土壤全硒平均含量45.0%,且富硒土壤母质均为冲洪积物。土壤全硒含量与土壤有机质(R2=0.32*)、有效硅(R2=0.35**)呈显著或极显著正相关。平川区各农产品全硒含量大小依次为胡麻、枸杞、藜麦、菊芋、玉米、马铃薯。平川区土壤硒含量有区域差异,西北部高于东南部,且灌区高于旱作区。土壤母质、有机质含量、有效硅含量是决定土壤富硒的主要因子,富集系数是各农产品全硒平均含量产生较大差异的主要原因。  相似文献

The long-term control of fertilizer pollution in the Danjiangkou Reservoir is an important task, and promoting good fertilizer pollution control methods is necessary to conserve water quality. A 3-year experiment was conducted to evaluate the fertilizer losses, economic benefits, and feasibility of different nutrient and water management methods in the area. The experiment included the following treatments: (1) local recommended fertilizer dose (450, 144, and 189 kg ha?1 y?1 of N, P2O5, and K2O) under rain-fed conditions (CK); (2) chicken manure at 7500 kg ha–1 without drip irrigation (OF); (3) same dosage of treatment OF but with drip irrigation (OFD); and (4) drip fertigation with 30% of the fertilization dose of CK (DF). The results showed that organic fertilizer and drip fertigation treatments reduced total N (TN) and total P (TP) losses compared to CK due to considerably less amounts of N and P nutrient inputs. Total N runoff losses, and TN and TP concentrations in leaching water did not differ significantly among treatments OF, OFD, and DF. Net income among the CK, OF, and OFD treatments did not differ significantly. Treatment DF resulted in 19.5% and 13.8% more net income than CK and OFD, respectively. Such results provided guidance for promotion to maximize benefits and minimize environmental impacts.  相似文献

为掌握玉米病虫害发生种类和农药使用情况,制定玉米病虫害防治规范。采用定点调查方法,对陇西县玉米病虫害及农药使用情况进行了调查。调查发现,该县玉米主要病害有茎基腐病、锈病、大斑病和小斑病,虫害有玉米螟、蚜虫、红蜘蛛、蓟马、黏虫和地下害虫等。将农药使用情况录入全国农药信息管理系统进行分析,表明在玉米整个生育期,按其类型,除草剂用量最大,其次为杀虫剂和杀菌剂,生长调节剂用量最小;按毒性,低毒农药用量最大,其次为中毒农药,微毒农药用量最小;按种类,以化学农药为主、生物农药为辅;按农药成分,辛硫磷、莠去津用量较大。  相似文献

分析了广东东翼(汕头)、西翼(湛江)和珠江三角洲(东莞、惠州、中山和顺德)等典型区域农业土壤中8种重金属(Cu、Zn、Ni、Cr、Pb、Cd、As和Hg)元素的含量。结果表明,578个农业土壤表层样中,有230个样品的重金属含量超过国家土壤环境质量二级标准值,超标率39.79%,Pb没有超标,Ni超标最严重;果园土比水稻土、菜园土污染严重;不同区域的土壤污染程度是珠江三角洲>东翼(汕头)>西翼(湛江),珠江三角洲的西、北江流域(中山、顺德)土壤重金属污染程度要比东江流域(东莞、惠州)严重。人为因素、成土母质和不同流域水质差异是造成广东典型区域农业土壤重金属污染的原因。  相似文献

The flesh-footed shearwater (Puffinus carneipes) is a migratory seabird that ranges widely across the Pacific and Indian Oceans. The principal breeding populations are in Australia and New Zealand. The only breeding site in eastern Australia is on Lord Howe Island. Despite it being afforded a high level of legislative protection, the population on Lord Howe Island has declined substantially during the last few decades. The total extent of nesting habitat in 2002 was 24.3 ha, a reduction of 13.4 ha (35.6%) since 1978. Loss of nesting habitat was associated with increased urbanisation, the adverse impact of which extended beyond the footprint of buildings and gardens. In 2002, overall burrow density was 0.123 per m2 and the total number of burrows was estimated to be 29,853 ± 5867, a decline of about 19.0% since 1978. A substantial decline in burrow density was evident in the colony where loss of habitat to urbanisation had been greatest. In 2002, 58% of burrows were occupied by breeding birds, and the total population size was estimated to be 17,462 breeding pairs. Breeding success (the proportion of eggs that produced fledglings) was 50%, but was lowest in the most urbanised colony. To avert further declines in the population of flesh-footed shearwaters on Lord Howe Island major changes in land use practices, enforced through appropriate legislation, are needed, together with reductions in the level of seabird bycatch in fisheries operations and in the amount of plastics that litter the world’s oceans.  相似文献

This study examines the effects of land use and slope angle on runoff, soil loss and nitrogen loss from hillslopes of the Loess Plateau in China. Farmland, wasteland and four forest treatments (sea buckthorn+poplar, immature sea buckthorn, mature sea buckthorn, and immature Chinese pine) were the types of land use that were compared. The results showed that July was the critical period for runoff, soil loss and nitrogen loss from farmland. Farmland was the most susceptible land use. Sea buckthorn+poplar, immature sea buckthorn, and mature sea buckthorn limited the runoff, soil loss and nitrogen loss. As part of our ungulate population protection program, the specific causes of ungulate mortality were examined and the effect of single habitat on habitat selection by ungulate analyzed. An integrated occurrence–mortality model for three ungulate species (wild boar Sus scrofa L., red deer Cervus elaphus L. and roe deer Capreolus capreolus Pallas) within the Wanda Mountains of Heilongjiang Province, China was then created. Results showed that steel cable snares and poison, used to kill ungulates, were the primary threats to survival of wild boar (40.07% poison, 27.79% cable snares), red deer (51.35% poison, 40.54% cable snares) and roe deer (29.31% poison, 56.90% cable snares). Furthermore, we found evidence that aspect, slope, elevation and forest type are important factors in determining ungulate habitat preference. The integrated occurrence–mortality model indicated that 46.39% of suitable habitat was associated with mortality risk. This model correctly classified 8.06% (297.49 km2) of the study area as unsuitable habitat, 5.43% (200.44 km2) as first attractive sink-like habitat, 32.76% (1209.85 km2) as second attractive sink-like habitat, 8.20% (302.77 km2) as third attractive sink-like habitat, and 8.91% (329.00 km2), 30.53% (1127.22 km2) and 6.11% (225.29 km2) as first, second and third source-like habitats, respectively. The results indicate that source-like habitats should be preserved to prevent habitat loss and degradation, while attractive sink-like habitats should be managed effectively to mitigate mortality risks. In particular, the various authorities need to be more proactive (increase patrolling, thereby providing employment, educational opportunities and increasing income) to reduce human-caused ungulate mortality.  相似文献

根据地质背景和人类活动方式,将整个长江三角洲地区划分为3个区域,探讨其区域特征和污染水平。利用多元统计学方法,分析不同区域重金属分布及污染特征;应用主成分分析,剖析了引起污染差异的原因;运用综合生态风险评价方法,探讨了沉积物的生态风险。结果表明,重金属的分布和区域特征既有相似性又存在差异:元素的富集程度以浙江区较高,太湖平原较低;浙江区不同元素变化最大,而太湖流域元素的变化则较为均匀。主成分分析表明,不同区域重金属的主要来源有所不同:长江两岸的Hg、Cu、Pb、As污染严重,与城市污水的排放和农业化肥的利用关系密切;太湖流域的主成分因子出现Zn、Cr、Cu组合,体现出电镀、化工行业污染排放的特征;浙江区主成分因子复杂,反映污染物质的多来源。采用Hakanson潜在生态风险指数法对沉积物中重金属进行风险评价,其单因子生态危害程度为Cd〉Hg〉Pb〉As〉Cu〉Zn〉Cr,综合潜在生态风险指数表明,长江三角洲农灌区的污染总体轻微,浙江区北部污染达到中等。  相似文献

为探求适于晋西黄土区果农间作系统的水分调控措施,选取该地区典型的苹果×大豆间作系统为研究对象,结合覆盖与调亏灌溉2种节水措施,分析了不同水分调控措施对苹果和大豆根系空间分布、耗水量与水分利用等指标的影响。试验设置灌溉上限3个水平:田间持水量的55%(W1,低水),70%(W2,中水)和85%(W3,高水),2种覆盖材料:秸秆覆盖(M1)和地膜覆盖(M2)。结果表明:水分调控措施增加了苹果和大豆总根长密度,且扩大了苹果在水平和垂直方向上的根长分布。苹果根长密度与距树行距离呈负相关,而大豆则呈正相关,且均与垂直深度存在负相关关系。大豆鼓粒期土壤水分随距树行距离的增加先减后增,最小值为距树行1.5~2.0m,与清耕(CK0)和单一覆盖(CK1和CK2)相比,水分调控措施能显著提高0—60cm土层内的土壤水分。聚类分析表明水分调控下苹果和大豆主要水分竞争区域为距树行0.5~1.5m、垂直方向0—40cm土层范围内。M2W2处理苹果细根集中分布在20—40cm土层,大豆细根主要在0—20cm土层,根系错位分布缓解了种间水分竞争,其耗水量可较W3组减少40~50mm,且其产量和水分利用可分别较其他水分调控措施提高29.37%~41.92%,12.29%~53.35%,同时可使间作系统净收益最大,可达2 976.5元/hm~2。由此建议在未坐果的幼龄苹果树行间间作大豆时采用地膜覆盖措施,同时在分枝期灌水150m~3/hm~2,结荚期灌水400m~3/hm~2,鼓粒期灌水300m~3/hm~2,可显著提高间作系统水分利用水平和经济效益。  相似文献

Soil erosion is one of the most serious environmental issues, especially in vulnerable areas such as the Pisha sandstone regions located in the Loess Plateau (China). In these types of reliefs, long-term studies monitoring runoff and soil loss are scarce, and even more considering the efficiency of different soil management techniques applied to reduce land degradation. In this study, seven years (2014–2020) of in-situ measurements of surface runoff and soil loss for different land uses (forestland, shrubland, grassland, farmland, and bare land) in a Pisha Sandstone environment at the Loess Plateau were conducted. We applied the Water Erosion Prediction Project (WEPP) model combining the large database with the precipitation regimes. Our results showed that runoff volume coming from observed and simulated data exhibited significant differences among them depending on the different vegetation types. Runoff and soil loss were different among diverse land use types as follows: farmland > grassland > shrubland > forestland. After conducting a calibration, we found satisfactorily simulated surface runoff and sediment yield based on precipitation regimes and land uses at sandstone reliefs. Simulation performance of surface runoff was better than sediment yield. The range of standard error of the model simulation for event and annual values of runoff were 4.71 mm and 12.19 mm, respectively. The standard error for event and annual values of soil loss were 4.19 t/hm2 and 21.86 t/hm2. In the calibration group, R2 of runoff and soil loss were 0.92 and 0.86 respectively, while Nash-Sutcliffe coefficient (E) reached 0.90 and 0.85, respectively. In the validation group, the R2 for both runoff and soil loss were 0.82 and 0.56, respectively. Nash-Sutcliffe coefficient (E) were 0.77 and 0.54 for the runoff and sediment yield. We concluded that using a detailed monitoring dataset, the WEPP model could accurately simulate and predict water erosion in the hillslopes of Pisha sandstone area.  相似文献

为高效利用水资源,提高农业生产效益,根据联合国粮农组织(FAO)推荐的参考作物蒸散计算方法和相关作物系数法,利用河北省马铃薯主要种植区域(冀北地区)23个地面气象站的资料,计算了冀北地区近50a(1969—2018年)马铃薯生育期内的需水量和缺水量,并分析了马铃薯生育期内降水量、有效降水量、需水量、缺水量变化趋势,以及不同区域不同生育期马铃薯需水量、缺水量的变化特征。结果表明:1)近50 a冀北地区马铃薯生育期内降水量、有效降水量年际变化可分为2个阶段:1969—2003年呈减少趋势,气候倾向率分别为–15.68 mm·(10a)~(–1)、–6.61 mm·(10a)~(–1);而2004—2018年呈显著增加趋势,气候倾向率分别为60.07 mm·(10a)~(–1)、9.68 mm·(10a)~(–1)。近50 a平均降水量、有效降水量分别为356.5 mm和148.6 mm;空间上均呈自西向东逐渐递减的带状特征。2)近50a马铃薯生育期需水量和缺水量年际变化也表现出1969—2003年减少、2004—2018年增多的趋势,且需水量多的年份缺水量也多,近50 a平均需水量和缺水量分别为497.8 mm、349.1 mm;空间分布上均呈自坝上高原向坝下山地增多特点,且需水量大的地区缺水量也多。3)马铃薯块茎膨大期需水量最多,期间也是缺水量最多的时期。研究结果显示1969—2018年冀北地区马铃薯生育期内水资源一直处于严重亏缺状态,在生产中需充分考虑马铃薯需水量对气象要素变化的响应,加强水分管理,确保水资源高效利用。  相似文献

以神木六道沟小流域为例,分析10座小型淤地坝年淤积沙量、产沙地层出露分布及其土壤粒径,基于“侵蚀—沉积”相关原理和粒径对比分析,探讨了近20年来该流域坡—沟侵蚀关系的演变方向及程度.结果表明:1992到2010年,该流域侵蚀模数由150 t/(hm2·a)减少到31.01 t/(hm2·a),减少幅度达80%.马兰黄土、离石黄土等各侵蚀产沙地层的侵蚀模数均大幅下降约80%.近20年前后,流域坡面和沟道侵蚀量分别由78.70,298.25 t/(hm2·a)减至21.23,50.74 t/(hm2·a).坡—沟侵蚀量相对比例由3.5∶6.5改变为4.6∶5.4.植被改善显著削弱了流域坡面的土壤侵蚀以及径流下沟对沟道侵蚀的增沙效应.  相似文献
