Abstract

Eighteen soils from northwestern Switzerland were used to study the value of seven universal extractants (CaCl2; DB‐DTPA; Mehlich 1, 2, and 3; Morgan‐Wolf; and NH4OAc‐EDTA) for predicting plant available potassium (K) as compared to a bioassay (a modified Neubauer test with winter rye). These extractants were evaluated on the basis of K uptake by the bioassay test and the soil K status. In order to create the sufficiency level of exchangeable K for plant growth, soils were treated with 0, 20, 40, 80, and 160 mg K/kg of soil. The range of K uptake by the bioassay tests was between 89.2 and 403.0 mg/kg of soil for the control pots, and 136.6 to 495.8 for the K treatments with optimal conditions for plant growth. The average amounts of K extracted by the seven universal extractants, in ascending order, were: CaCl2 < Morgan‐Wolf < Mehlich 1 < Mehlich 2 < NH4OAc‐EDTA < Mehlich 3 < DB‐DTPA. The highest simple correlation with K uptake versus the bioassay test was obtained with the DB‐DTPA (r = 0.89) extractant and the lowest with the Mehlich 1 (r = 0.53) extractant. The DP‐DTPA, NH4OAc‐EDTA and Mehlich 3‐K procedures showed an advantage over K procedures based on water soluble and exchangeable K pools in the investigated soils in order to predict the amount of plant‐available K. A simple regression and the Cate‐Nelson graphic method offer the possibility of assessing the soil‐K status using K values obtained by these universal extractants and to calibrate them against K forms as follows: exchangeable, water soluble, and non‐exchangeable.  相似文献

Abstract

Among the identified universal extractants, Mehlich III is one of the more reliable multielement extractant for acid soils and soilless mixes. However, the universality of the Mehlich III extractant does not include an important nutrient element, sulfur (S). This study was conducted in order to evaluate the Mehlich III extractant as an index of S availability, and comparing with four other extractants, monocalcium phosphate (MCP), MCP+HOAc, Morgan's Reagent, and calcium chloride. Soil samples representing tea growing areas of several parts of India were collected from selected tea gardens to compare S extractability. These extractants were also evaluated in a young tea plantation (3+ year old) field experiment which is situated near the foot hill soils (Typic Hapludalfs) of Indian western Himalaya. It was found that Mehlich III‐extractable S was significantly correlated with the S extracted by the other extractants from both the top and subsoils of the tea growing region. However, the largest correlation coefficient was found between the Morgan's Reagent and Mehlich III. MCP, MCP+HOAc, and Morgan reagents extracted S mainly from the adsorbed fraction, although some degree of correlation was found with water‐soluble and ester sulfate‐sulfur (SO4‐S) fractions. In case of the Mehlich III extractant, 83 and 87% of the variability was explained by water‐soluble and adsorbed SO4 in the respective top and subsoils. Except for the regression equation between Morgan's Reagent‐extractable S and the S content in tea shoots, all other equations were statistically significant. But, only available S extracted from the top soil by Mehlich III was found significantly correlated with S uptake, which was further confirmed by a significant coefficient of regression (r=0.552*). This suggests that the Mehlich III reagent could be a useful index for predicting the S requirement for a tea crop.  相似文献

Sixty soil samples (0–0.15 m depth) collected randomly from different districts of Himachal Pradesh were used to evaluate ammonium bicarbonate-diethylenetriaminepenta acetic acid (AB-DTPA) and acid ammonium acetate-ethylene diamine tetra acetic acid (AAAc-EDTA) over standard methods for P, K, and micronutrient cations. Among Olsen P, Bray P1, AB-DTPA P, and AAAc-EDTA P, available P (kg ha?1) varied from 7.8 to 44.3, 9.5 to 61.1, 6.5 to 38.8, 10.5 to 52.1; available K (kg ha?1) among NH4OAc, AB-DTPA, and AAAc-EDTA ranged from 103.6 to 372.3, 86.6 to 364.9, and 74.6 to 362.5. In case of micronutrients cations, AB-DTPA in general, extracted more amounts as compared to DTPA alone. AAAc-EDTA correlated highly with the Olsen P. AB-DTPA-K and AAAc-EDTA-K correlated well with standard method (NH4OAc) however; AAAc-EDTA had higher correlation with AB-DTPA for K extractability. Among methods for micronutrients highest significant correlations were observed between AB-DTPA and DTPA for Cu, Fe, and Zn.  相似文献

In the present study, the extractability of available Boron (B) by different extractants was tested in relation to soil properties. Soil samples from different parts of Indo-Gangetic flood plains of West Bengal were collected and available B extracted with various extractant viz. hot calcium chloride (CaCl2) (HCC), Potassium di-hydrogen phosphate (PDP), tartaric acid (TA) and MCC. Plant availability of B was assessed by growing wheat (Triticum aestivum L.cv.K-1006) in such soils through pot experiments. HCC showed the highest available B content as well as highest correlation coefficient value with all plant growth parameters and soil properties. The B extracting efficiency of the tested extractants was found in the order of HCC > PDP > TA > MCC. Results showed that dry matter yield, plant B concentration and uptake was increased significantly after application of Borax. Linear Correlations, Multiple regression analysis using Mallow's Cp statistics proved HCC to be the best extractant for estimating available B in experimental soils.  相似文献

在测土配方施肥土壤有效硫分析测定工作中,对土壤有效硫的测定方法(常规法)进行了改进。1.常规法中加入1.0 g氯化钡晶粒改为加入10%浓度氯化钡液体1 mL;2.常规法中过氧化氢加热脱有机质改为加入0.04~0.05 g活性炭脱有机质。改进法比常规法操作简单、省时、省力;在标准曲线绘制中,获得的标准曲线相关性都达到0.995以上;对山西省标准土样TCB-2进行了平行测试,测试值全部在标准值(62.7±20.4)mg/kg范围之内,且平行相对相差≤10%。  相似文献

Adequate evaluation and interpretation of silicon (Si) phytoavailability in soil is a key to fertilizer recommendation. This study was conducted to determine the effect of soil texture on the choice of Si extractant, and provide baseline data on the relationship between extractable Si and sugarcane Si accumulation. The effects of soil texture and extractant solutions of Si were investigated on soil of nine areas of sugarcane cultivation. Si contents in clayey soils were higher than in sandy soils only in the extraction with standard calcium chloride, acetic acid, potassium chloride (KCl), and sodium acetate buffer. Other extractants failed to reveal differences in the Si availability among the three soil textures. The choice of the extractant should consider soil texture for the determination of adequate Si contents in soils planted with sugarcane, and the extractants that proved to be more efficient in the three soil textures was acetic acid and KCl.  相似文献

Abstract

The objective of this study was to evaluate the usefulness of measures of mineralized sulfur (S), soil sulfate‐sulfur (SO4‐S), concentration of S in plant tissue, and the N: S ratio in plant tissue as predictors of the need for S in a fertilizer program for corn (Zea mays L.). Data to evaluate the use of plant analysis for S as a predictor were obtained from ten sites where various rates of N and S were applied to corn. Regression analysis was used to relate the S concentration in the ear leaf tissue as well as the N: S ratio in the same tissue to relative yield when the rate of applied N was held constant at a rate of 168 kg/ha. These measures of S in plant tissue were not significantly related to relative yield at sites where there was no response to fertilizer S as well as sites where added S increased yield.

Data from the same sites were used to assess the ability of soil tests to predict the need for fertilizer S. A measurement of extractable SO4‐S in the surface soil (0–15 cm) was not reliable for predicting the need for S for corn grown on soils with a silt loam texture.

Static incubation techniques were used to evaluate the amount of S mineralized from soil collected from seven sites. The amount of SO4‐S measured after four and twelve weeks of incubation was curvilinearly related (p <.05) to yield increase from a S fertilizer. Net mineralized S was less than 2.1 and 3.7 ppm SO4‐S after four and twelve weeks of incubation, respectively, for soils taken from sites where response to fertilizer S was obtained. Data collected in this study indicate that a measure of mineralized S could improve the ability to predict S needs for corn production on soils with a silt loam texture and a low organic matter content.  相似文献

以位于西南大学农业部重庆紫色土生态环境重点野外科学观测试验站 1990 年设立的长期免耕试验田为研究对象,通过采集 0 ~ 60 cm 土壤,应用等质量计算方法,探讨了冬水田平作(DP)、水旱轮作(SH)、垄作免耕(LM)和垄作翻耕(LF)等不同耕作方式对土壤全硫和有效硫的影响。结果表明,在 0 ~ 60 cm 深度内,土壤全硫和有效硫含量呈现出明显的垂直递减规律,即随着土壤深度的增加,含量逐渐降低;不同耕作方式下,土壤全硫含量及储量为 LM>SH>DP>LF,有效硫含量及储量为 LM>DP>LF>SH。长期垄作免耕提高了土壤全硫及有效硫的含量和储量,与对照 DP 处理相比,LM 处理全硫与有效硫含量分别增加了 20.80% 和 1.31%,储量分别增加了 19.54% 和 5.36%。耕作层(0 ~ 20 cm),DP、SH、LM、LF 处理土壤有效硫平均含量分别为 27.15、13.45、31.43 和 24.01 mg/kg,DP、LF 以及 LM 处理为硫不缺或硫丰足,而 SH 处理为缺硫土壤(土壤有效硫含量<16 mg/kg)。对缺硫土壤,应重视硫肥的施用,以促进农作物产量和品质的提高。  相似文献

Abstract

The objective of this research was to compare the results from anion exchange Resin extraction of P, and the acidified ammonium acetate (AA) extraction of K and Mg with the results obtained using two single extraction procedures, Mehlich 1 (M‐l) and Mehlich 3 (M‐3). Phosphorus extracted from 72 Zimbabwe soils using M‐l and M‐3 was comparable to Resin extracted P in about 80% of the soils. Mehlich 1 extracted about half the amount of P as the Resin method, and M‐3 extracted about one and one‐half times as much. Phosphorus by M‐3 was highly correlated, (r — 0.846), with Resin extracted P from soils having 0.01M CaCl2 pH values of equal to or greater than 5.9. On soils less than pH 5.9, the r value was 0.502, and for all soils, the r value for M‐3 vs Resin P was 0.615. Mehlich 1 extracted P vs Resin P had a r value of 0.298. Acidified ammonium acetate (AA) extraction of K and Mg was comparable to M‐l and M‐3 extraction of K and Mg in 92% or more of the 72 soils. The K correlation coefficient (r) for AA vs M‐l and AA vs M‐3 was 0.918 and 0.944, respectively. The Mg correlation coefficient (r) for AA vs M‐l and AA vs M‐3 was 0.940 and 0.962, respectively.  相似文献

本文综述了土壤有效钾的提取方法,并根据不同浸提方法的测定结果与作物反应与标准方法之间的相关性进行了评价。结果表明有多种方法与参比项有显著的相关性。并推荐单独提取土壤有效钾时用1moL·l-1中性NH4OAC法,也可用CEM法或2moL·l-1冷HNO3法,同时需要提取其他有效养分时可用ASI法或M-3法。个别土壤还可用其他方法。但在石灰性土壤上不能用Bray-1法和M-1法。  相似文献

Abstract

The method has been modified from Sinclair3,4 and tested for extractable sulfate and total sulfur on plant, soil, and water samples. Inorganic sulfur is extracted from plant and soil material by using dilute acidic extractants, and total sulfur is estimated from dry ashed or wet ashed material whereby various sulfur forms are oxidized to sulfate‐sulfur. The sulfate is precipitated in sample solutions as barium sulfate and determined turbidimetrically by AutoAnalyzer.

The method is rapid, precise, and sensitive enough to be used on a routine basis.  相似文献

Abstract

This study determined the effects of soil preservation methods on inorganic nitrogen (N) analysis and evaluated methods of soil inorganic N analysis. Soils were preserved by oven‐drying at 55'C, air‐drying at 27°C, and freezing at ‐ 7°C. Inorganic N results were compared with initial N levels prior to imposing preservation treatments. Soil preservation effects on ammonium‐nitrogen (NH4 +‐N) were not consistent across soil types. Soil nitrate‐nitrogen (NO3 ‐N) levels after air‐drying and freezing compared most favorably with initial levels indicating that both are acceptable methods of soil inorganic‐N preservation. Levels of NH4 +‐N averaged across soils were 3.9 mg/kg for steam distillation, 4.2 mg/kg for sodium salicylate‐hypochlorite, and 3.7 mg/kg for indophenol blue. When compared with steam distillation averaged across soils, NO3 ‐N for cadmium‐copper (Cd‐Cu) reduction was 4 mg/kg greater, followed by nitrate electrode at 3 mg/kg, and salicylic acid at 2 mg/kg. Recovery of added N ranged from 83.3 to 94.8% for the NH4+‐N methods and from 74.8 to 112.4% for the NO3 ‐N methods with the nitrate electrode averaging 98.3%.  相似文献

Abstract

An automated turbidimetric method has been developed for the rapid and accurate determination of sulfate. The method is practical and useful for accurately measuring total sulfur in plant tissues, and extractable sulfate in soils. The principle of intermittent reagent addition is used which eliminates drift and sensitivity changes caused by coating of BaSO4 on tubing and cell walls. Also, the appropriate chemistry is used to minimize interactions of the wash with the sample at a sampling rate of 30/H. The sensitivity of the method is excellent with a working range of 0 to 15 ppm sulfur for soils. For plant digests the sample solutions are diluted to 0–35 ppm S. The precision as determined by repeated analysis of a soil sample extract was 0.58% RSD with a mean of 9.26 pg/g extractable SO= 4‐S. On another soil sample using a different extractant and extraction procedure the RSD was 0.64%, mean of 9.26 μg/g. Multiple automated sulfur analyses on a plant tissue digest resulted in an RSD of 0.41% for a sample containing 0.21% S. The automated turbidimetric method for sulfate has excellent precision and sensitivity in plant tissue and soil analyses where gravimetric BaSO4 assays are not practical.  相似文献

第三次全国土壤普查意义重大,为确保普查数据真实可靠,需对行业标准检测方法进行反复验证以优选出适合在全国范围内推广的方法。由于NY/T 1121.14—2006比浊法测定土壤有效硫标准曲线线性较差,亟须优化其提取、测定条件以提高方法的准确度和精密度。鉴于此,主要探究了沉淀剂的状态、品牌及线性拟合方式对比浊法测定土壤有效硫标准曲线线性的影响,结果表明,有效硫标准曲线改用现用现配的40 g/L氯化钡溶液定容可显著提高标准曲线的线性,使其相关系数r>0.999,满足分析测试的要求。同时本实验室对电感耦合等离子体光谱法(ICP-OES)测定土壤有效硫进行方法验证、对比,比浊法、ICP-OES法的检出限分别为1.20、0.80 mg/kg,均满足分析测试的要求。方法准确度和精密度验证结果表明,二者均可用于土壤有效硫的测定并且测定结果无显著性差异。其中,比浊法适用于测定低含量(<48 mg/kg)样品,ICP-OES法适用于含量范围在0~150 mg/kg的样品。结合本实验室在第三次全国土壤普查内业检测试点工作中的经验,建议将ICP-OES法作为第三次全国土壤普查有效硫测定的首选方法,以...  相似文献

采用土壤空间变异及其插值方法,对上海五四农场现代化农业园区水稻田60m×60m间隔采样,得到280个土壤有机质含量、速效磷、速效钾、全N、全P等采样数据,用逆距离加权、球面多项式、局部多项式、辐射基础函数、简单克立格、通用克立格、平常克立格(指数模型、球形模型、高斯模型、静态模型)等插值方法,对该区土壤速效磷含量的140采样点进行插值,得到各种插值的速效磷连续空间分布,将插值所得拟合值与同期测得的另140个采样点数据进行比较,则局部多项式插值、球面多项式和3种克立格插值方法效果较好,其中局部多项式插值方法效果最佳,平常克立格的静态模型、高斯模型和球形模型插值效果较佳。  相似文献

利用5种不同的土壤重金属浸提剂,研究了土壤有效态重金属含量与玉米重金属含量的关系,并提出了一种新的土壤有效态重金属的浸提剂。结果表明:0.1mol/L HCl,0.05mol/L EDTA-2Na,0.1mol/L CaCl2,0.1mol/L HAc-NaAc,0.05mol/L DTPA提取的化学有效态重金属与玉米根、茎、叶中重金属Cu、Zn、Cd、Pb大部分呈显著或极显著相关,但各化学提取剂提取的有效态Zn、Cu与玉米籽粒Zn、Cu的相关性较差。利用柠檬酸-酒石酸为提取剂提取的重金属含量与玉米籽粒中重金属的含量有着相对较好的相关性,是一种预估玉米籽粒中重金属含量的较好办法。  相似文献

Abstract

The large increases in nitrogen (N) fertilizer usage in recent years have led to a recognition of the need for reliable and quick methods of measuring the N‐supplying capacities of soil. Despite this need, there is no well accepted method for testing soils for N availability that has been generally considered to be satisfactory. This study was conducted to determine the N status of the soils of the Bafra Plain and to evaluate some of the more promising methods of determining the index of soil N availability by using a 15N technique as a standard. Twelve representative soil samples were collected having a broad range of chemical and physical characteristics. In determining the available N contents of these soils, one aerobic incubation method and 12 different chemical methods were compared. In order to evaluate the availability of indigenous soil N to plants and also to investigate the N status of these soils, a greenhouse experiment was conducted with corn as the test plant. Nitrogen was applied as urea at the rate of 0, 50, 100, and 200 ppm with 15N enriched (2% a.e) urea used at the 50 ppm rate. After eight weeks of growth, plants were harvested. The increased amounts of N were not affected linearly by the dry matter, N content, and N uptake by the corn plants for most of the soils. The most suitable N rate was found to be 50 ppm N under the experimental conditions. In order to select the most suitable chemical methods, the AN‐value (soil N availability to plant as the applied fertilizer N) was taken as the standard method. Highly significant correlation coefficients were obtained between the AN‐value and each of the following methods: alkaline hydrolysis (r=0.900 and r=0.938, P<0.001), alkaline permanganate (r= 0.873, r=0.864 and r=0.826, P<0.001), and total N (r=0.850, P<0.001), respectively. These methods appeared worthy of consideration as a routine test for assessing the N availability for these soils.  相似文献

【目的】 土壤有效硫是作物硫素营养的主要来源,在获取省域范围耕地土壤有效硫基础数据和硫肥试验研究结果的基础上,以地统计学特征分析和新的土壤有效硫分级指标统计为手段,研究全省土壤有效硫时空变化特点和区域性分布现状,掌握全省耕地土壤硫养分丰缺状况及供给水平,为科学施肥提供依据。 【方法】 选择安徽省砂姜黑土、潮土、黄褐土、水稻土等11个土类,采集农田0—20 cm耕层土样34.5万个。通过大样本数据的统计分析,利用ArcGIS进行Kriging插值的地统计学分析,按照本省耕地土壤有效硫新的丰缺分级标准,即极缺 (< 10.0 mg/kg)、缺乏 (10 ~16 mg/kg)、较缺乏 (16~22 mg/kg)、中等 (22~34 mg/kg) 和丰富 (> 34 mg/kg) 五级,结合第二次土壤普查分级指标对应分析,进行省域耕地土壤有效硫丰缺现状和时空分布研究。 【结果】 1) 全省耕地土壤有效硫含量范围在0.10 ~101.90 mg/kg之间,平均值为24.99 mg/kg,中位数为21.00 mg/kg。2) 全省耕地土壤缺硫概率较大。有效硫含量处于极缺 (< 10 mg/kg)、缺乏 (10 ~16 mg/kg) 与较缺乏 (16 ~22 mg/kg) 水平的分别占总样本数的13.76%、20.91%和18.43%。3) 省域总体缺硫状况由东向西递增、南北向中间趋减。按不同农业区域比较,淮北平原的宿州、亳州和阜阳市缺硫最严重,其次是皖南山区,又以黄山市、铜陵市土壤缺硫较严重。4) 土壤类型和时空变化上,以棕壤、黄潮土、粗骨土、红壤、黄壤、紫色土和砂浆黑土等缺硫最为严重。与20年前研究分析比较,沿江平原、江淮丘陵和皖西农区缺硫趋势减弱,而皖南山区土壤缺硫状况明显加重。目前,棕壤、砂姜黑土和黄棕壤缺硫频率和风险增大,而黄潮土、黄褐土和灰潮土缺硫频率降低。 【结论】 省域耕地缺硫 (< 22 mg/kg) 面积约311.19 × 104 hm2,占全省耕地总面积的53.10%。针对棕壤、砂浆黑土、黄潮土、红壤等九类土壤缺硫比率高 (39.67% ~56.89%之间) 的现状,应推荐含硫化肥或补施硫肥,降低作物缺硫风险。   相似文献

Abstract

The goal was to develop an easy, fast, and economical procedure to produce plant digests that can be accurately analyzed by plasma emission spectrometry for foliar sulfur content. The closed vessel microwave procedure described requires less than 2 hours to produce 12 digested 0.5 gram samples from the point of weighing the samples to applying them to plasma emission spectrometry analysis. The procedure utilizes nitric acid and hydrogen peroxide as a predigestion. The predigested samples are then each microwaved for 2.25 minutes. With this procedure, sulfur levels are within an average of 1.27% of that reported for the NBS Citrus Standard, are within 102.25% to 99.44% of the values determined for wet ash digested materials and display recovery rates of 96 to 98% for known levels of sulfur in the range expected in plant foliage.  相似文献
