Based on experiments conducted during 1988–2009 on rainfed pearl millet/sorghum with 9 treatments in Vertisols, an efficient treatment for sustainable productivity is identified. Twenty kg of nitrogen (N) from farmyard manure (FYM) + 20 kg N (urea) + 10 kg phosphorus (P) ha?1 in pearl millet and 40 kg N (urea) + 20 kg P + 25 kg zinc sulfate (ZnSO4) ha?1 in sorghum gave maximum yield and rainwater-use efficiency, whereas 20 kg N (FYM) + 20 kg (urea) + 10 kg P ha?1 in pearl millet and 40 kg (urea) + 20 kg P ha?1 in sorghum and gave maximum soil N, P, and potassium (K) over years. The regression model of 20 kg N (crop residue) + 20 kg N (urea) + 10 kg P ha?1 gave maximum R2 for predicting sorghum equivalent yield separately through precipitation and soil variables, whereas 20 kg N (FYM) + 20 kg N (urea) + 10 kg P ha?1 gave maximum R2 under combined model of both variables. Treatment of 20 kg N (FYM) + 20 kg N (urea) + 10 kg P ha?1 was superior for attaining maximum sorghum equivalent yield of 1062 kg ha?1, net returns of Rs. 4805 ha?1, benefit/cost (BC) ratio of 1.50, and 127 kg ha?1 of soil N, 10.3 kg ha?1 of soil P, and 386 kg ha?1 of soil K over years.  相似文献

Seedrow-placed urea minimizes soil disturbance in reduced tillage systems, but it generally decreases seedling emergence (or stand density) at nitrogen (N) rates adequate for optimum crop yield. Two three-year field experiments were conducted on canola (Brassica napus L.) and spring wheat (Triticum turgidum L.) at Melfort Research Farm, Saskatchewan, Canada, to determine the influence of N rate (40, 80 and 120 kg N ha?1), N source [untreated urea (urea), polymer-coated urea (ESN), and urea treated with Dicyandiamide (DCD) and N-(n-butyl) thiophosphoric triamide (NBPT or AgrotainTM) (SuperU) in 2007, or NBPT only (AgrotainU) in 2008 and 2009], and placement (side-banded N and seedrow-placed N, using knives to create 2 cm wide band), plus a zero-N control, on seedling emergence, seed and straw yield, protein concentration (PC) in seed, and N uptake in seed and straw. For both crops, side-banded N had no detrimental effect on seedling emergence compared to the zero-N control for all rates and sources. Seedrow-placed ESN had little or no effect on seedling emergence of wheat or canola. Conversely, seedrow-placed urea, SuperU or AgrotainU reduced seedling emergence for wheat at the 80 and 120 kg N ha?1 rates and reduced canola seedling emergence substantially at all rates, but particularly at the 80 and 120 kg N ha?1. Seed yield and N uptake were generally greater with ESN than urea and also SuperU or AgrotainU, when the fertilizers were seedrow-placed at high N rates. The findings suggest the effectiveness of ESN in providing greater seedrow-placed N application options for producers.  相似文献

Field experiments (established in autumn 1979, with monoculture barley from 1980 to 1990 and barley/wheat–canola–triticale–pea rotation from 1991 to 2008) were conducted on two contrasting soil types (Gray Luvisol [Typic Haplocryalf] loam soil at Breton; Black Chernozem [Albic Agricryoll] silty clay loam soil at Ellerslie) in north-central Alberta, Canada, to determine the influence of tillage (zero tillage and conventional tillage), straw management (straw removed [SRem] and straw retained [SRet]), and N fertilizer rate (0, 50 and 100 kg N ha?1in SRet, and only 0 kg N ha?1in SRem plots) on seed yield, straw yield, total N uptake in seed + straw (1991–2008), and N balance sheet (1980–2008). The N fertilizer urea was midrow-banded under both tillage systems in the 1991 to 2008 period. There was a considerable increase in seed yield, straw yield, and total N uptake in seed + straw with increasing N rate up to 100 kg N ha?1 under both tillage systems. On the average, conventional tillage produced greater seed yield (by 279 kg ha?1), straw yield (by 252 kg ha?1), and total N uptake in seed + straw (by 6.0 kg N ha?1) than zero tillage, but the differences were greater at Breton than Ellerslie. Compared to straw removal treatment, seed yield, straw yield, and total N uptake in seed + straw tended to be greater with straw retained at the zero-N rate used in the study. The amounts of applied N unaccounted for over the 1980 to 2008 period ranged from 1114 to 1846 kg N ha?1 at Breton and 845 to 1665 kg N ha?1 at Ellerslie, suggesting a great potential for N loss from the soil-plant system through denitrification, and N immobilization from the soil mineral N pool. In conclusion, crop yield and N uptake were lower under zero tillage than conventional, and long-term retention of straw suggests some gradual improvement in soil productivity.  相似文献

Controlled-release urea (CRU) and its placement method in rice production were investigated during 2007 and 2008 seasons. Controlled-release urea was applied at 62.5, 125, and 187.5 kg nitrogen (N) ha?1, and the urea was 187.5 kg N ha?1. All the CRU treatments were applied to the nursery beds once, and they were brought into the paddy field during transplanting, while the urea treatment was split into three applications from the plowing to the harvest. The results showed that rice seedlings with CRUs germinated and grow well and there was no salt damage at the nursery stage. The CRU treatment with 125 kg N ha?1 had 33% less N than urea treatment (187.50 kg N ha?1), but it produced significantly higher grain and straw yields, higher total N uptake and total apparent N uptake efficiency. In addition, all the CRU treatments effectively decreased floodwater ammonium (NH4 +)-N and nitrate (NO3 ?)-N concentrations, pH, and N runoff.  相似文献

A long-term study was conducted to study the impact of integrated nutrient management on soil quality in post-monsoon sorghum (Sorghum bicolor) at Solapur in Maharashtra State in Western India under All India Coordinated Research Project for Dryland Agriculture. The experiment was laid out with ten Integrated Nutrient Management Treatments in a randomized block design with three replications. The results of the study indicated that among all the integrated nutrient management treatments practiced, the application of 25 kg nitrogen (N) ha?1 through crop residue (CR) + 25 kg N ha?1 (urea) showed the highest soil quality index of 2.36, which was at par with other treatments receiving farmyard manure (FYM) and crop residues along with urea. The relative order of performance of the integrated nutrient management treatments in influencing soil quality was: T6: 25 kg N ha?1 (CR) + 25 kg N ha?1 (urea) (2.36) >T5: 25 kg N ha?1 (FYM) (2.31) > T7: 25 kg N ha?1 (FYM) +25 kg N ha?1 (urea) (2.30) = T8: 25 kg N ha?1 (CR) +25 kg N ha?1 (Leucaena loppings) (2.30) > T10: 25 kg N ha?1 (Leucaena loppings) +25 kg N ha?1 (urea) (2.17) > T4: 25 kg N ha?1 (CR:crop residues) (2.16) > T9: 25 kg N ha?1 (Leucaena loppings) (2.15) > T3: 50 kg N ha?1 (urea) (2.10) > T2: 25 kg N ha?1 (urea) (1.99) > T1: 0 kg N ha?1 (control) (1.77). The results of the study also indicated that average percent contribution of each soil key indicator towards soil quality indices was: pH (3.97%), EC (1.94%), organic carbon (18.6%), available P (2.80%), available K (6.57%), exchangeable Ca (7.02%), available S (3.45%), Available Zn (17.9%), dehydrogenase (DHA) (16.2%), microbial biomass carbon (MBC) (18.5%) and mean weight diameter (MWD) (3.14%). Thus, the results of the present study will be highly useful to the land managers in planning effective management of soil quality.  相似文献

A field experiment was carried out in a semi-arid region of Iran during the 2006–2007 growing season to investigate canola seed yield as affected by nitrogen (N) and natural zeolite (Z) rates. This experiment studied N efficiency and N leaching loss in a sandy soil. Experimental treatments consisted of a factorial combination of three N levels (90, 180, and 270 kg N ha?1) and four zeolite rates (0, 3, 6, and 9 t zeolite ha?1). The result showed that the greatest seed yield (2452.3 kg ha?1) was obtained from the N270Z9 treatment whereas the control treatment (N0Z0) produced the lowest seed yield (1038.3 kg ha?1). Moreover, use of 270 kg N ha?1 without zeolite (N270Z0) led to the greatest amount of N leaching loss (144.23 kg ha?1). Zeolite application clearly reduced N leaching loss in all N rates. This justified low N-use efficiency in high N applications. More N uptake and more canola seed yield is attributed to zeolite application.  相似文献

Abstract

A two-year field experiment was conducted to investigate the impact of short crop rotation and organic amendments on rapeseed yield under weed competition conditions. The primary experimental plots consisted of either triticale or pea as a prior crop, consisting of four subplots with either 25 tons of composted cattle manure (CCM), 150?kg urea N ha?1 (N), 25 tons composted cattle manure + 75?kg urea N ha?1 (CCM?+?N), or no urea N or manure added as the control (C0). Rapeseed seed yield was not significantly affected by previous crops, except for rapeseed grown after pea which had slightly higher seed yield (2058?kg ha?1) than those grown after triticale (1942?kg ha?1). Plants that received CCM?+?N produced the highest amount of seed yield (2447?kg ha?1), but were not significantly different from plants that received just urea N (2218?kg ha?1). Weeds gained more biomass when the previous crop was pea compared to those whose previous crop was triticale. Weeds in plots that received CCM?+?N produced the greatest biomass, followed by N, and CCM plots, respectively.  相似文献

This work evaluates the effect of different slow-release fertilizers and nitrification inhibitors (NI) on N-use efficiency, grain yield and N2 fixation in rice fields of Valencia (Spain) during three consecutive crop seasons (1998–2000). Eight N sources [ammonium sulphate, urea, polymer-coated urea (PCU 32% and 40% N), sulphur coated urea, isobutylidene diurea (IBDU), ammonium sulphate nitrate (ASN) plus dicyandiamide and ASN plus dimethyl pyrazole phosphate, were applied at 120 kg N ha–1 and at 2 or 15 days before flooding (DBF) during 1998. Another experiment was based on the use of urea blended with PCU (40% N) at four ratios (1:0, 3:1, 1:1, 1:3) and applied at 15 DBF and at four rates (70, 95, 120 and 145 kg N ha-1) during 1999 and at only one rate (120 kg N ha–1) during 2000. Both experiments also included a control (no N). The results showed that, when applied shortly before flooding, PCU (32% and 40% N) and IBDU application improved biological N2 fixation compared to the conventional fertilizer application, with or without NI, reaching similar values to those observed in the absence of N fertilizer. Slow release fertilizers, particularly PCU 40% N applied basally before flooding, were the best N source for grain yield and improved recovery efficiency. Differences among N sources were only significant when the flooding was delayed for 15 days after fertilizer application.  相似文献

Effects of stabilized urea fertilizers [Alzon 46 (A) and UREAstabil (US)] on soil microbiological and chemical parameters and also on grain yield, 1000-grain weight, and oil content were tested in a precise field study on Luvisol in 2010–2012. Winter rapeseed (Brassica napus L. cv. Californium) was fertilized both in autumn [45 kg nitrogen (N) ha?1] and in spring (155 kg N ha?1) with A [urea with DCD (dicyandiamide) plus pyrrodiazole (1,2,4-1H-triazole)], US {urea with NBPT [N-(n-butyl)-thiophosphoric acid triamide]}, and conventional N fertilizers (pure urea, calcium ammonium nitrate). Eleven parameters were used to evaluate the soil status: microbial biomass carbon (C; microwave method [MW]), dehydrogenase activity, arylsulfatase activity, available organic carbon, electroconductivity, Corg (MW method), and pH (in water, H2O). None of the 11 parameters demonstrated significant difference between control, conventional N fertilizers, and stabilized urea fertilizers. The greatest yield significantly different from the control (zero kg N ha?1; 2598 ± 881 kg ha?1) was found for both stabilized urea fertilizers: A (200 kg N ha?1; 3772 ± 759 kg ha?1) and US (200 kg N ha?1; 3764 ± 625 kg ha?1). The control achieved the greatest oil content (46.0 ± 1.2%), which was significantly different from all N-fertilized variants, and also the greatest 1000-grain weight (5.62 ± 0.62 g).  相似文献

菜地土壤中氮肥的反硝化损失和N2O排放   总被引:4,自引:0,他引:4
A field experiment was conducted on Chinese cabbage (Brassica campestris L. ssp. pekinensis (Lour.) Olsson) in a Nanjing suburb in 2003. The experiment included 4 treatments in a randomized complete block design with 3 replicates: zero chemical fertilizer N (CK); urea at rates of 300 kg N ha^-1 (U300) and 600 kg N ha^-1 (U600), both as basal and two topdressings; and polymer-coated urea at a rate of 180 kg N ha^-1 (PCU180) as a basal application. The acetylene inhibition technique was used to measure denitrification (N2 + N2O) from intact soil cores and N2O emissions in the absence of acetylene. Results showed that compared to (3K total denitrification losses were significantly greater (P ≤ 0.05) in the PCU180, U300, and U600 treatments, while N2O emissions in the U300 and U600 treatments were significantly higher (P ≤ 0.05) than (3K. In the U300 and U600 treatments peaks of denitrification and N2O emission were usually observed after N application. In the polymer-coated urea treatment (PCU180) during the period 20 to 40 days after transplanting, higher denitrification rates and N2O fluxes occurred. Compared with urea, polymer-coated urea did not show any effect on reducing denitrification losses and N2O emissions in terms of percentage of applied N. As temperature gradually decreased from transplanting to harvest, denitrification rates and N2O emissions tended to decrease. A significant (P ≤0.01) positive correlation occurred between denitrification (r = 0.872) or N2O emission (r = 0.781) flux densities and soil temperature in the CK treatment with a stable nitrate content during the whole growing season.  相似文献

Biochar is a co-product of pyrolysis. To find the effects of biochar on crop production, a field study was conducted in 2007, 2008, and 2009. Treatments were arranged in a split-plot design. The main plot treatments were biochar at rates of 0, 4.5, 18 Mg ha?1. Sub-plot treatments were nitrogen (N) rates of 0, 56, 112, 224 kg N ha?1 as urea (46–0–0). These treatments were applied to a continuous corn cropping system. Soil samples were planned to be taken during the first eight weeks of the growing season and after harvest to measure ammonium–N (NH4 +–N) and nitrate–N (NO3 ?–N). Nitrogen in the plant and grain was measured along with grain yield and plant biomass. There was no difference in the yield due to the addition of biochar or the interaction of biochar and N fertilizer, but there were differences due to the N fertilizer alone.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

Nutrient uptake and grain and straw yield of Egyptian winter wheat (Triticum aestivum L. Merr.) were evaluated for two site-years after the seed inoculation with two biofertilizer products, Phosphorien, containing the phosphorus (P)-solubilizing bacteria Bacillus megatherium, and Nitrobien, containing a combination of nitrogen (N)-fixing bacteria Azotobacter chroococcum and Azospirillum liposerum. Ammonium nitrate and polymer-coated urea fertilizers were applied to plots alone and together with the biofertilizers at rates of either 83 kg N ha?1 or 186 kg N ha?1 for comparison. The highest grain yield (5.76–6.74 Mg ha?1) and straw yield (11.49–13.32 Mg ha?1) occurred at the highest fertilizer rates with N fertilizer. There was a slight additional increase in grain and straw yields when a biofertilizer was applied along with N fertilizer. A slightly higher grain and straw yield was measured with the polymer-coated urea treatment than with the ammonium nitrate treatment. The biofertilizer materials were not as effective as N fertilizers in producing grain (4.02–4.09 Mg ha?1) or straw (7.71–8.11 Mg ha?1) for either year, although the Nitrobien + Phosphorien combination increased these parameters over the N-fertilizer control. The effect of the Nitrobien biofertilizer in increasing grain yields was equivalent to a urea application rate of about 13 kg N ha?1. Biofertilizer inoculations increased iron (Fe), manganese (Mn), zinc (Zn), and copper (Cu) concentrations in wheat tissue (at boot stage), but these higher levels did not influence grain or straw yield.  相似文献

Field experiments were conducted with four nitrogen fertilizer treatments to study the effects of controlled-release urea combined with conventional urea on the nitrogen uptake, root yield, and contents of protein, soluble sugar, saponin, zinc (Zn), iron (Fe), magnesium (Mg), and copper (Cu) in Platycodon grandiflorum. Field experiments were conducted with four nitrogen (N) fertilizer treatments: no N fertilization; conventional urea with N rate of 175 kg N ha?1; conventional urea with N rate of 160 kg N ha?1; controlled-release urea combined with conventional urea with N rate of 160 kg N ha?1; controlled-release urea combined with conventional urea with N rate of 135 kg N ha?1. The results showed that nitrogen application significantly increased the yield of P. grandiflorum compared with the control. Treatment with controlled-release urea combined with conventional urea at 160 kg N ha?1 provided the highest yield of 7329.58 kg ha?1. Nitrogen application also increased the contents of soluble sugar, total saponin, protein, Zn, Fe, and Mg but decreased Cu content. Protein, saponin, and Zn contents were significantly higher, but Cu content was lower in P. grandiflorum fertilized with controlled-release urea combined with conventional urea than those fertilized with conventional urea alone. The combination of controlled-release urea with conventional urea at 160 kg N ha?1 was the optimal treatment under the experimental condition investigated in this study.  相似文献

In order to investigate the effect of nitrogen (N) and sulfur (S) fertilizers on yield and seed quality of three canola cultivars, a factorial based on randomized complete block experiment was conducted during 2005–2006 in Iran. Treatments included four nitrogen rates (0, 75, 150, and 225 kg N ha?1 source of urea), four sulfur rates (0, 100, 200, and 300 kg S ha?1), and three cultivars (‘Pf’, ‘Option-500’, and ‘Hyola-401’). Results indicated cultivar had a significant effect on all studied traits. ‘Option-500’ and ‘Hyola-401’ cultivars had the highest seed yield, protein content, and N:S ratio in seed. The levels of 150 and 220 kg N ha?1 resulted in the maximum protein content. Increasing N levels resulted in N content and decreased the oil content. The interaction effect between S and N levels showed the highest N content in seed was obtained with 300 kg S ha?1 and 225 kg N ha?1.  相似文献

Excessive and inappropriate use of fertilizers is a key factor of low sugarcane yield and degradation of soil. A two-year (2013–14 and 2014–15) field study was conducted to assess the impact of combined application of organic and inorganic fertilizers on sugarcane at research farm of Shakarganj Sugar Research Institute, Jhang, Pakistan. Experiment was conducted under randomized complete block design with three replications. Treatments were used as control (no exogenous application), spent wash (160 t ha?1), (nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium) NPK (168:112:112 kg ha?1), spent wash (120 t ha?1) + NPK (42:28:28 kg ha?1), spent wash (80 t ha?1) + NPK (84:56:56 kg ha?1), spent wash (40 t ha?1) + NPK (126:84:84 kg ha?1), and spent wash (160 t ha?1) + NPK (42:28:28 kg ha?1). Application of spent wash @ 80 t ha?1 + NPK @ 84:56:56 kg ha?1 resulted maximum crop growth rate (11.35 g m?2 d?1), leaf area index (7.78), and net assimilation rate (2.53 g m?2 d?1). Maximum number of millable canes (14), weight per stripped cane (0.90 kg), stripped cane yield (117.60 t ha?1) and unstripped cane yield (141.25 t ha?1) were observed with spent wash @ 80 t ha?1 + NPK @ 84:56:56 kg ha?1, followed by sole fertilizer application @ 168:112:112 kg NPK ha?1 and spent wash @160 t ha?1 + NPK @ 42:28:28 kg ha?1. Similar trend was observed regarding quality parameters. The maximum benefit–cost ratio (1.80) was achieved with integrated application of spent wash @ 80 t ha?1 + NPK @ 84:56:56 kg ha?1.  相似文献

Abstract

Legumes have a unique ability to obtain a significant portion of atmospheric nitrogen (N2) through a symbiotic relationship with Rhizobia spp of bacteria but it takes time, thus, an early supply of N to the plant may positively influence growth and development. However, too much fertilizer in close proximity to the seed can damage the seedling. Therefore, this study was conducted to determine the maximum safe rates for starter seed-row fertilizer application under low seedbed utilization conditions (15%). Emergence, biomass yield and nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P) and sulfur (S) uptake responses to starter fertilizer products and blends applied at 0, 10, 20 and 30?kg?N?ha?1 in the seed-row were investigated for six different pulse crops: soybean, pea, faba bean, black bean, lentil and chickpea. The general sensitivity (injury potential) for starter N, P, S fertilizer was lentil?≥?pea?≥?chickpea?>?soybean?≥?black bean?>?faba bean. Lentil, pea and chickpea could generally only tolerate the 10?kg?N?ha?1 rates while soybean and black bean could tolerate 10–20?kg?N?ha?1. Faba bean emergence appeared relatively unaffected by all three rates of N and showed least sensitivity to seed row placed fertilizer. In terms of 30-day biomass response, soybean and black bean were most responsive to fertilization, while pea, faba bean, lentil and chickpea were least responsive to the starter fertilizer applications, with no benefit increasing above the 10?kg?N?ha?1 rate.  相似文献

A study was conducted to evaluate the effect of nitrogen (N) application, through an easily available and cheap source urea, on potassium (K) displacement and its availability in K-deficient maize-growing soils of rainfed subtropics. The greatest amount of K was displaced (11.22 kg ha?1) by N application at the rate of 80 kg N ha?1 (treatment T4). Amount of N fixed to displace K (11.10 kg ha?1) was also greatest in the same treatment. Displaced K was positively related to nonexchangeable potassium (NEK) release. Nitrogen application through urea at 80 kg ha?1 helped not only in meeting N requirement of maize crop in these N-deficient soils but can also satisfy the K requirements (as these soils are low in K) of these soils. Potassium displacement also increased the production efficiency of the maize crop by promoting its relative production efficiency index (RPEI) from suitability class V to class III.  相似文献

With regard to the low cation-exchange capacity and large saturated hydraulic conductivity of sandy soils, a field experiment was carried out in 2006–2007 to determine the impact of zeolite on nitrogen leaching and canola production. Four nitrogen (N) rates (0, 90, 180, and 270 kg ha–1) and three zeolite amounts (3, 6 and 9 t ha?1) were included as treatments. The results demonstrated that the highest growth parameters and seed yield were attained with 270 kg N ha?1 and 9 t zeolite ha?1. However, the highest and the lowest seed protein percentage and oil content were obtained with 270 kg N ha?1 accompanied by 9 t zeolite ha?1, respectively. Nitrate concentration in drained water was affected by nitrogen and zeolite. The lowest and highest leached nitrate values were found in control without N and zeolite (N0Z0) and in treatments with the highest N supply without zeolite (N270Z0), respectively. In general, nitrogen-use efficiency decreased with an increase in N supply. Application of 9 t zeolite ha?1 showed higher nitrogen use efficiency than other zeolite amounts. Also, application of more N fertilizer in soil reduced nitrogen uptake efficiency. In total, application of 270 kg N ha?1 and 9 t zeolite ha?1 could be suggested as superior treatment.  相似文献

Abstract

A field experiment was conducted at Star City (legal location SW6‐45‐16‐W2); Saskatchewan, Canada from May 2000 to June 2000, to measure nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P) supply rates from fertilizer bands to the seed‐row of canola crop. Ion exchange resin membrane probes (PRSTM) were used to measure N and P supply rates in four treatments [80 kg N ha?1 of urea as side‐row band, 80 kg N ha?1 of urea as mid‐row band, check/no N (side‐row)/P side‐row, check/no N (mid‐row)/seed placed P]. The treatments were arranged in a randomized complete block design with four replications. Two anion and cation exchange resin probes (PRSTM) were placed in each plot in the seed‐row immediately after seeding and fertilizing. The probes were allowed to remain in the field for 2 days and replaced with another set of probes every 4 days for a total of 14 days until canola emerged. Ammonium‐N, nitrate‐N and P supply rates were calculated based on the ion accumulated on the probes. Urea side‐row band treatments (fertilizer N 2.5 cm to side of every seed‐row) had significantly higher cumulative available N supply rates than mid‐row band placement in which fertilizer N was placed 10 cm from the seed‐row in between every second seed‐row. No significant differences were observed in P supply rates. The higher N rates (120 kg N ha?1) resulted in lower grain yield in side‐row banding than mid‐row banding possibly due to seedling damage. However, the earlier fluxes of N into the seed‐row observed with side‐row banding may be an advantage at lower N rates in N deficient soils.  相似文献

Abstract

A two-year experiment was conducted on oilseed rape in 2004–2005 and 2005–2006 in north Iran. Treatments were 0, 50, 100, and 150 kg N ha?1 as urea (F0 to F150, respectively), 100 kg N ha?1 as urea +50 kg N ha?1 as manure (F100M50), 50 kg N ha?1 as urea +100 kg N ha?1 as manure (F50M100), and 150 kg N ha?1 as manure (M150). Results indicated that seed yield in M150 was significantly lower than in F150 in both years. Seed protein content in the inorganic fertilization system (F150) was significantly higher than in the organic (M150) and integrated systems (F100M50 and F50M100). Seed oil content, however, was higher in the organic treatment than in the inorganic treatment. Less N uptake in F100M50 compared with F150 in the first year and in F50M100 compared with F150 in the second year did not result in similar differences in grain yield. Owing to the low content of soil-available Zn, the association between Zn and N concentration in shoot in the inorganic treatments was low. In spite of a significant increase in soil-available Zn under the organic and integrated treatments, no significant increase was observed in Zn concentration of shoot in these treatments compared with F150. It appears that the excessive availability of P in M150, F50M100, and F100M50 has reduced either Zn uptake or its translocation from root to shoot. Overall, it could be concluded that in order to increase Zn uptake under manure application in a Zn-deficient soil, N availability should increase.  相似文献
