Results reported in the literature with regard to productivity of intercropping systems in comparison to sole cropping are very inconsistent. A field experiment was therefore conducted in the northern part of the Guinea Savanna in Ghana to compare the productivity of maize/cowpea mixed cropping, maize/cowpea relay intercropping with maize/cowpea rotation and maize monocropping over a 4-year period. The treatments included two levels of nitrogen (0 and 80 kg of N ha−1 y −1 as urea) and two levels of phosphorus application (0 and 60 kg of P ha−1 y−1 as Volta phosphate rock). At all levels of N and P application, maize yields of the intercropping systems, especially of maize/cowpea mixed cropping, were significantly lower than in sole cropping. Highest maize yields were obtained in maize/cowpea rotation, which in contrast to the other cropping systems did not show any reductions in yields over years. Cowpea yields were generally less affected by the cropping system, but were notably depressed when cowpea was relay-intercropped with maize. In treatments without fertilizer application (N and P) Land Equivalent Ratios (LER) and Area x Time Equivalency Ratios (ATER) generally indicated lower productivity of the intercropping systems as compared to sole cropping, with the maize/cowpea rotation showing the highest productivity. Conversely, fertilizer application resulted in higher productivity of the intercropping systems over the 4-year period. Productivity on the basis of ATER was generally lowest in maize/cowpea relay-intercropping as a consequence of the long time of land occupation. All of the parameters indicate low productivity of maize monocropping, clearly demonstrating that crop sequence as well as fertilizer application must be considered as important for maintaining high production levels at this site.  相似文献

摘要:珠江三角洲秋冬季节高强度的叶菜种植中,随着气温降低叶菜产量有逐渐增加的趋势。连续种植4茬叶菜,在磷、钾肥用量一致的情况下,尿素、碳铵及其配施有机肥的试验表明:尿素处理的生长状况和产量结果好于碳铵处理,但这种差异随气温降低而逐渐收窄;尿素、碳铵分别配施有机肥的两处理产量差异较小。供试叶菜硝酸盐含量受品种、气温和施肥等方面的影响,配施有机肥具有降硝作用。试验还表明:施肥特别是配施有机肥具有培肥作用,施肥能明显提高土壤有效养分含量。  相似文献

A seven-year (2009–2015) continuous field experiment was established at the South China Agricultural University in order to identify the effects of sugarcane/soybean intercropping and reduced N rate on ecosystem productivity, yield stability, soil fertility, and N2O emissions. The randomized block experiment was designed with four cropping patterns (sugarcane monocropping (MS), soybean monocropping (MB), sugarcane/soybean (1:1) intercropping (SB1), and sugarcane/soybean (1:2) intercropping (SB2)) and two rates of N fertilization (300 kg hm−2 (N1, reduced rate) and 525 kg hm−2 (N2, conventional rate)). The results showed that the land equivalent ratio (LER) of all intercropping systems was greater than 1 (between 1.10 and 1.84), and the SB2-N1 optimally improved the land utilization rate among all treatments. The cropping patterns and N applied rates had no significant effect on sugarcane yield. The soybean yield was influenced by different cropping patterns because of different planting densities (4, 8 and 16 rows of soybean were plant under SB1, SB2, and MB, respectively) and was adopted in this experiment. In addition, under the SB2 cropping pattern, the soybean yield at the reduced N application rate was higher than that at the conventional N application rate. Wricke’s ecovalence (Wi2), the sustainable yield index (SYI) and the coefficient of variation (CV) were used to evaluate yield stability. Different treatments had no significant effects on sugarcane yield stability, as demonstrated by three indicators (Wi2, SYI and CV), which indicated that intercropping with soybean and reduced N rate had no effect on sugarcane yield. For soybeans, the value of Wi2 demonstrated that the stability of the intercropping system was higher than its counterpart monocropping system, as SYI and CV values indicated that SB2 had higher stability than SB1. During seven years of experiments, there was no significant difference in the soil fertility between MS and SB patterns. The soybean monocropping had a higher available K, pH and lower available P content than sugarcane inter- and mono-cropping. Different cropping patterns had a slight impact on N2O emissions and the greenhouse gas intensity (GHGI) value. Higher N input promoted N2O emissions and increased GHGI values. In conclusion, the present study observed that a 40% reduced nitrogen input combined with intercropping soybeans could maintain sugarcane yield and soil sustainable utilization, and that higher N fertilizer additions induced negative impacts on greenhouse gases emissions. Sugarcane intercropping with soybeans can reduce chemical fertilizer input and simultaneously maintain crop productivity; thus, it can be considered to be a reasonable practice for field management.  相似文献

明确不同间作模式下碧螺春茶园高产优质协同的肥料运筹方式,为苏州洞庭碧螺春茶园“精准施肥”和“配方施肥”提供理论和技术支撑。田间试验,以30年茶树龄的纯茶园和茶-枇杷间作茶园碧螺春茶树为材料,研究不同施氮量水平以及无机、有机肥配施对碧螺春百芽重及主要品质的影响。结果表明:(1)不同施氮量处理间百芽重比较,2种种植模式茶园茶树均以450 kg/hm2处理时最高,继续增施氮肥百芽重不再增加,纯茶园不升反降;茶-枇杷间作园在有机:无机比例为6:4时产量最高。(2)茶-枇杷间作碧螺春茶游离氨基酸、茶多酚、儿茶素含量比纯茶园含量高;碧螺春茶的游离氨基酸含量与施肥量呈显著的正相关;相同施氮量下,有机无机肥配施显著提高碧螺春茶游离氨基酸及咖啡碱含量,降低酚氨比,其中游离氨基酸在茶果间作茶园效应大于纯茶园,咖啡碱的含量在纯茶园和茶-枇杷间作茶园中均以纯菜籽饼肥处理最高,与相同施氮量的无机肥处理比较则分别提高了41.9%和51.7%。茶-枇杷间作和增施有机肥有利于改善碧螺春茶叶品质;30年树龄茶园适宜的施氮量为450 kg/hm2,因茶园不同种植模式构建有机、无机肥配施比例可实现茶叶高产优质生产目标。  相似文献

Twenty-four cowpea genotypes were evaluated under sole cropping or additive series intercropping with sorghum from 2004 to 2005 at four sites representative of the Guinea and Sudan savannah ecologies in Ghana. The aim was to determine whether cowpea breeding programs that emphasize selection under sole-crop conditions have the potential to produce cultivars that are effective under additive series intercropping. Genotype × cropping systems interaction was significant for days to 50% flowering but not for grain yield, biomass and other studied traits. Genotypic yield reaction to cropping systems indicated that bridging the yield gap between sole cropping and intercropping systems is best addressed by agronomic interventions that reduce stress on intercrop cowpea rather than by selecting for specifically adapted genotypes for intercropping. Significant genotype × environment interactions were observed for all traits when data was pooled over cropping systems. Partitioning of the genotype × environment interaction variance indicated that days to 50% flowering was dominated by heterogeneity of genotypic variance, whereas genotype × environment interactions for grain yield and biomass was mainly due to imperfect correlations. Large differences in genotypic yield stability were observed as estimated by the among-environment variance, regression of yield on the environmental index, Kataoka’s index, and by partitioning of genotype × environment interaction sum of squares into components attributable to each genotype. The results suggest that in regions where genotype × environment interaction for yield frequently causes re-ranking across environments, genotypes with the least contribution to the interaction sum of squares are likely to be most productive. On the whole, the results support the contention that breeding under sole-crop conditions has the potential to produce cultivars effective under intercropping conditions.  相似文献

In intensive integrated crop-livestock farming systems, the surplus of N at the farm scale may be large and reflects on the N balance at the field scale. A study was conducted to assess the N fertilizer efficiency in four private farms in intensively cropped areas of NW Italy, and to monitor the effects of agricultural practices on the mineral N concentration of the soil solution, sampled every 2 weeks for 2 years and considered as an indicator of potential leaching. Two cultivation systems were compared in each farm, one involving continuous maize rotation, the other assuring a continuous soil cover (permanent meadow or winter cereal-maize double cropping system). The fertilization level in the arable crops was high (369–509 kg N ha−1 year−1) compared to the crop removals, and resulted in a low efficiency, as indicated by the four examined efficiency indexes (calculated N surplus, N removal-fertilizer ratio, N apparent recovery, N use efficiency). The soil-water-nitrate concentration showed large temporal variations in the range of 1–150 mg l−1 for five out of the eight cropping situations, while concentrations smaller than 10 mg l−1 were always recorded in the meadows and in one of the four soils (Aeric epiaquept). The fertilizer management that characterized each cropping system affected the soil-mineral-nitrate content in shallow arable soils. The longer soil cover duration in double-cropping systems did not result in a reduction of soil N compared to maize as a single crop, not even in winter (the bare-soil intercropping period in maize-based systems). However, the temporal oscillations of the concentration were buffered by the crop cover duration and by the presence of a shallow water table (1 m deep) in the soil profile. The average nitrate content of the soil could be predicted by the N uptake of the crop, the N removal–fertilizer ratio, the soil pH and sand content, however no simple explanatory relationship was found with the experimental factors. Hence, in farm conditions, in the absence of sufficient data for a deterministic model approach, the target of reducing the risk of leaching should be achieved by maximizing the fertilizer efficiency.  相似文献

为了探究不同玉米/花生间作条件下地下部土壤微生态环境,采用大田试验研究了不同玉米/花生间作条件下作物根区土壤微生物量和产量状况的变化特征。结果表明,在一定程度上,间作可以提高土壤微生物的整体代谢活性和群落结构多样性,其中玉米/花生间作12垄,细菌高出对照62.5%、真菌是对照6倍、放线菌是对照8倍。不同的间作模式对经济效益的影响也是相当大,其中间作玉米/花生间作12垄高出玉米/花生间作4垄23.6%,玉米/花生间作8垄高出玉米/花生间作4垄22.5%。综合评价认为,玉米与花生间作最佳比例为4:12或12:12。辽宁省花生产区多为风沙土,土壤易风蚀,而且花生又忌连作,采用玉米花生间作对防风蚀、防重茬具有重要的作用。  相似文献

为了探明施磷水平对不同间作体系产量间作优势和磷肥利用的影响,在河北曲周主要研究了施磷对玉米‖蚕豆、玉米‖大豆和玉米‖油菜3种间作体系土地当量比(LER)、磷吸收量、磷肥吸收效率和磷间作优势的影响。结果表明:玉米‖蚕豆的LER是1.24~1.31,玉米‖油菜的LER是1.20~1.24,玉米‖大豆的LER是1.11~1.15,均大于1,具有明显的间作优势;3个磷水平下,吸磷量表现为玉米‖大豆>玉米‖蚕豆>玉米‖油菜,除玉米‖油菜间作体系外,比单作玉米分别高21.5%%~40.2%和13.3%~22.9%,且均随着施磷量的增加而增加,但增加幅度降低;3种间作体系均具有明显的磷间作优势,除玉米‖大豆间作体系外,施磷后均降低;磷肥吸收效率除玉米‖蚕豆在施磷90 kg/hm2外均低于单作玉米,并且随着施磷量的增加而降低。这表明,通过活化磷能力强的作物与玉米间作可以提高土壤难溶性磷的利用,玉米‖大豆和玉米‖蚕豆比玉米‖油菜效果好,适宜的施磷量为90 kg/hm2。  相似文献

油菜套播是利用双季稻区冬闲田的有效手段,为探究缓释型配方肥(N-P2O5-K2O:25-7-8,及5%的中微量元素)在晚稻套播油菜上的施用效果,设置一次性基施缓释型配方肥与分次施常规肥效果对比试验和配方肥施用量试验,调查油菜产量形成、肥料利用率及经济效益。结果表明,在减少肥料养分投入且一次性基施的情况下,缓释型配方肥仍能达到甚至优于常规肥分次施用的效果。菜籽产量与缓释型配方肥用量呈线性加平台关系,适宜施肥量可保证较大的收获密度并产生较多的每株角果数和每角粒数,同时维持较高的肥料利用率,从而提高籽粒产量和经济效益。根据本试验结果推算出晚稻套播油菜的目标产量为1 500~1 800kg/hm2时,缓释型配方肥的适宜用量为645~715kg/hm2。  相似文献

试验采取收获饲用小黑麦后复种青贮玉米的栽培方式,同时进行氮素调控,研究不同施氮量和氮肥类型对复种方式下饲用小黑麦和青贮玉米产量及饲用品质的影响。结果表明,纯氮用量100kg/hm2的缓释氮肥处理小黑麦产量和品质显著优于其他用量尿素处理;青贮玉米生育期较长,中期追肥效果更好,其中,在一定地力基础上,N3(前茬小黑麦纯氮用量150kg/hm2,后茬青贮玉米纯氮用量200kg/hm2)处理青贮玉米产量和品质最优。  相似文献

Intercropping corn with legumes is an alternative to corn monocropping and is a possible way to reduce the use of inputs, such as herbicides, while maintaining current weed control levels. Two experiments were carried out at each of two sites in both 1993 and 1994. The first experiment investigated the effects of seeding soybean or lupin alone or in combination with one of three forages (annual ryegrass, Lolium multiflorum Lam.; perennial ryegrass, Lolium perenne L.; and red clover, Trifolium pratense L.) on weed control. The second experiment examined the effects of seeding date (simultaneous with corn or 3 weeks later) and number of rows of large-seeded legumes (one or two) seeded between the corn rows, on weed control. Whenever seeding of legumes/forages was delayed, weekly interrow tillage operations were used to control weeds until legume/forage seeding. The density and biomasses of monocot weeds, either on or between the corn rows, were not affected by cultivation or intercropping. The density and biomass of dicot weeds on corn rows were reduced by some intercrop systems. For the various cropping systems tested, the dicot weed biomass and density between corn rows were most affected (in some cases reduced by 73-100% of the weedy control). A more effective dicot weed control was observed in delay seeded treatments, which allowed extra interrow cultivations. Intercrops that included soybean were also more successful at reducing weed populations than those containing lupin. Underseeded forages did not reduce weed biomass or density.  相似文献

旨在探明间作模式对作物产量的影响,为间作措施的合理应用和推广提供理论依据。该研究以单作为对照,利用Meta分析方法定量分析间作对作物产量的影响及其影响因素。结果表明,间作较单作显著降低了作物产量,尤其在温带地区。此外,在地面覆盖和豆科作物条件下,间作也降低了作物产量。然而,当降雨量超过600 mm时,间作较单作的作物产量显著增加了29.6%。而当降雨量小于600 mm时,间作较单作的作物产量降低了18.7%。年均气温也显著影响间作的产量效应,当年均气温高于20℃时,间作较单作的作物产量降低了55.1%,长期间作(>5年)有利于提高产量,然而当年数少于3年时,间作较单作却降低了作物产量。高有机质含量(>20 g/kg)和低有机质含量(1 g/kg)条件下,间作均不利于作物产量提高。与此类似,当土壤全氮高于1.5 g/kg时,间作较单作的作物产量降低48.6%。间作对作物产量的降低幅度在pH 6.5~7.5时是最大的。当土壤有效磷、氮和钾含量分别为>30 mg/kg、 <50 mg/kg和50~100 mg/kg时间作较单作降低作物产量。因此,间作的产量效应受气候、试验年限和土壤性状等多种因素的影响。  相似文献

Breeding programmes in common bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) have mainly focused on performance under monoculture conditions. Interactions among cultivars and cropping systems do occur and genotypes bred for pure cropping may not be suitable for intercropping. This study was undertaken to obtain estimates of genetic parameters of quality traits for bush bean landraces grown in two cropping systems, and the interrelationships of these traits between pure cropping and intercropping with maize (Zea mays L.). Field experiments were conducted at two locations for two years. Expression of most traits was not strongly influenced by genotype × environment interactions. Heritability estimates were similar in both cropping systems for most pod and seed quality traits. Positive correlations were observed between pure cropping and intercropping for pod characters (weight, length, width and texture) and seed characters (dry and imbided weight, length, hardness, coat proportion, water absorption and crude protein). Use of a selection index is suggested for breeding for seed size, water absorption,coat proportion and crude protein for both cropping systems. However, larger gains would be expected in pure cropping for most traits. Bean accessions PHA-0267, PHA-0285, PHA-0286 and PHA-0299 should be used for developing acceptable culinary and high protein breeding lines for either cropping system. This study was conducted at the University of Jordan Research Station in the central Jordan Valley during 1988 and 1989 summer growing seasons, to determine the potential and response of summer crops to intercropping system and to poultry manure addition. Corn, soybean and watermelon were grown as sole crops and as intercrops in three paired combinations (corn: watermelon, corn: soybean, watermelon: soybean) with three levels of poultry manure (0, 20, 40 t/ha). The crop yields and land equivalent ratios (LERs) were determined for all treatments. The highest yields for the two cropping systems were obtained in response to the highest poultry manure addition. Corn gave the highest yield when intercropped with soybean, where increases in yield of 45 % and 66 % were obtained over those of corn sole crop at the same level of poultry manure (40 t/ha), in 1988 and 1989 seasons, respectively. Soybean gave the highest yield when grown with corn leading to an increase of 35 % and 34 % over soybean sole crop grown at the same level of poultry manure (40 t/ha) in 1988 and 1989, respectively. Watermelon gave the highest yield when grown with soybean, giving an increase which ranged from 390 to 920 kg ha−1 over the yield of sole cropping system under the same level of poultry manure (40 t/ha). The LER values for all intercrop treatments were greater than 1.0 which gave clearly an indication for the superiority of the intercropping over the sole cropping system especially when 40 t ha−1 poultry manure was added.  相似文献

The performance of sorghum and groundnut cultivars was studied in sole cropping and intercropping systems at Babile in the semiarid area of eastern Ethiopia in 1996, 1997 and 1999. On average, late-maturing cultivars of groundnut and sorghum gave higher dry pod yield and grain yield, respectively, when intercropped with early-maturing cultivars of the associated crops. The significant variation among groundnut cultivars in yield and yield components under intercropping with sorghum cultivars revealed that sole cropping may not provide the appropriate environment for selecting varieties intended for use in intercropping. The productivity of intercropped groundnut and sorghum cultivars, as determined by total land equivalent ratios (LER), was higher than sole cropping, indicating the presence of temporal complementarity in the use of growth resources. A mean yield advantage of 32 % was obtained under intercropping.  相似文献

为探讨绿豆/黑豆还田和减施化肥条件下,间作绿肥压青还田对宿根甘蔗生长的影响及绿肥还田和有机肥施用对化肥的替代作用。试验设计了常规施肥(CK)、化肥减施25%+12%营养元素当量绿豆绿肥还田+13%营养元素当量有机肥(H-LY)、化肥减施25%+全量绿豆还田(H-LQ)、化肥减施25%+25%营养元素当量有机肥(H-Y)、化肥减施25%+25%营养元素当量黑豆绿肥还田(H-HD)和化肥减施25%+全量黑豆还田(H-HQ)6个处理。结果表明,与CK处理相比,宿根蔗间作绿豆和黑豆压青还田对甘蔗株高、有效茎数和单茎重没有显著影响,所有处理的蔗茎产量与CK处理无显著差异,说明宿根蔗间作绿豆和黑豆绿肥压青还田、当量有机肥施用均可以替代25%的甘蔗化肥。  相似文献

氮肥后移对玉米间作豌豆耗水特性的调控效应   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3  
针对水资源不足严重制约干旱灌区间作发展,间作中以氮调水理论研究的薄弱,生产实践中缺乏氮肥运筹同步提高间作产量和水分利用效率的措施等问题。2012-2013年,以河西走廊规模化应用的玉米间作豌豆为研究对象,在总施氮量相同且基肥和孕穗肥分别占10%和50%条件下,设氮肥后移30% (N1,拔节肥0+花粒肥40%)、氮肥后移15% (N2,拔节肥15%+花粒肥25%)、传统制度(N3,拔节肥30%+花粒肥10%) 3个施氮处理,探讨氮肥后移对间作产量和水分利用效率(WUE)的影响,以期为禾豆间作优化施氮制度、提高产量和水分利用效率提供理论依据。结果表明,氮肥后移对玉米间作豌豆总耗水量(ET)影响不显著,但降低了棵间蒸发量(E)和棵间蒸发量占总耗水量的比例(E/ET);与传统施氮处理相比,氮肥后移15%使玉米间作豌豆的E和E/ET降低6%和4%,氮肥后移30%使玉米间作豌豆的E和E/ET均降低2%。在间作系统中,豌豆带、玉米带的棵间蒸发量分别为329 mm、232 mm,表明豌豆带的无效耗水显著高于玉米带。氮肥后移15%间作的混合籽粒产量、WUE较传统施氮间作分别高出6%、5%,氮肥后移30%间作混合籽粒产量、WUE较传统施氮间作分别提高3%、2%。因此,玉米间作豌豆结合氮肥后移15%,即豌豆开花结荚期(玉米拔节期)追施氮肥67.5 kg hm-2、玉米大喇叭口期追施氮肥225 kg hm-2、玉米花后15 d追施氮肥112.5 kg hm-2,可作为绿洲灌区玉米间作豌豆增产和提高WUE的农艺措施之一。  相似文献

受水资源不足的严重制约,西北绿洲区以间作套种为主体的多熟种植面积被持续压缩,使单位耕地产出率和光能利用率明显下降,间作节水理论和技术研究亟待开展。交替灌溉技术节水和提高水分利用效率的作用已得到大量验证,但该技术应用到间作中能否产生节水、增效作用,缺乏理论依据。2006—2008年,在甘肃河西走廊干旱荒漠绿洲区进行田间试验,探讨了交替灌溉对小麦间作玉米产量、耗水量和水分利用效率的影响。结果表明,与单作相比,交替灌溉小麦间作玉米可显著提高土地利用效率(LER),LER达到1.22~1.52。交替灌溉与传统灌溉间作相比,LER差异不显著;对间作小麦的产量效应不显著,但使间作玉米的产量提高11.4%~36.4%,混合产量平均提高12.9%。与传统灌溉间作相比,交替灌间作未显著增加作物的耗水量,与单作小麦、单作玉米的加权平均相比高1.2%~19.4%。交替灌溉小麦间作玉米的WUE较单作小麦高12.0%~71.4%、较单作玉米高10.6%~37.8%、较传统灌小麦间作玉米高0.9%~22.5%。在河西绿洲灌区,小麦间作玉米上应用交替灌溉技术具有节水和提高WUE的可行性。  相似文献
