和谐取食训练是建立在定位训练基础上,对群体动物进行改善社群关系的一种训练,是灵长类最重要的群养技巧。它的理论是首先承认首领动物在种群内的统领地位。在首领动物的默认下,属于从属地位的动物拥有了采食的机会,因而首领动物会变得更有忍耐性和耐心,同时当攻击行为减少时,从属动物会逐渐消除心理上的恐惧,为改善社群关系提供有力的保证。笔者从2014年4月开始对杭州动物园的2只山魈(1♂1♀)进行和谐取食训练,经过1 a多的训练,效果显著,雌性的精神状态明显比训练前放松,毛色变亮,体型也有所增长。甲时没有观察到追打驱赶等行为,休息时会非常平和地坐在雄性周围,且常有理毛、交配等社交行为的发生。 相似文献

行为训练做一种丰容手段,在圈养野生动物管理中正逐渐运用。其目的是通过正强化刺激,让动物学会指令配合动物管理,从而减少胁迫。然而目前并没有合适的生理指标来评价训练对动物的影响。本实验对象是杭州动物园饲养的2只黑叶猴,通过对其中1只“大杭”个体进行持续30 d的正强化行为训练,训练目标为肌肉注射。通过GC-MS代谢组手段测定粪便所有代谢产物。模型显示,行为训练后大杭粪便代谢组与训练前具有显著的区别(PLS-DA:R^2y=0.951,Q 2=0.502;(O)PLS-DA:R^2y=0.95,Q 2=0.454)。通过差异代谢物和代谢物富集分析发现,代谢物变化通路主要有氨基酸代谢(亮氨酸、异亮氨酸的生物合成及分解途径,甘氨酸、丝氨酸、苏氨酸代谢以及半胱氨酸、蛋氨酸代谢均下调),核酸和能量代谢(丙二酸、嘧啶、肌苷、乳糖代谢在行为训练动物上得到显著增强)。正强化训练可能通过强化动物的主动运动,提高新陈代谢水平来调节动物生理水平。 相似文献

Fane animal worker training and certification programs are currently not available. Programs are needed for training and certification of farm animal workers in teaching and research facilities at universities and companies and on commercial farms. Consumers support farm animal welfare assurances. Although the focus of this paper is the development of programs for teaching and research institutions, commodity-based assurance programs and laboratory animal worker training programs provide models for future programs that could provide assurance of acceptable farm animal care. The Federation of Animal Science Societies (FASS) training tapes on the use of farm animals in teaching and research are a first step toward the development of a full menu of training products for farm animal care. The FASS Guide for the Care and Use of Agricultural Animals in Agricultural Research and Teaching (Ag Guide) should provide a template for science-based training materials for people who work with farm animals. 相似文献

Animal shelter workers are a vulnerable population whose exposure to zoonotic disease may be greater compared with the general population. The aim of this project was to identify baseline zoonotic disease knowledge of animal shelter workers and to develop and evaluate zoonotic disease awareness training. Ten animal shelters in six western states were randomly selected. One hundred and eleven trainees were evaluated by identical pre- and post-training tests. Training topics included identification of clinical signs, susceptible species, and transmission of disease to animals and to humans. Zoonotic diseases included rabies, plague, leptospirosis, internal parasites, methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and salmonella. A statistically significant difference in overall total scores between pre-test (58.5%) and post-test (69.5%) was observed (P = 0.0001). No association was observed between test scores and length of time working in animal shelters, or with the participants' role at the animal shelter. Overall test scores were raised by 11%. The lowest baseline levels of knowledge were found with leptospirosis, MRSA, plague and rabies, emerging diseases with increasing prevalence and high consequence. Zoonotic disease awareness training is a valuable service to animal shelters. In the current study, training was modestly successful in transferring short-term knowledge to animal shelter workers. To understand and evaluate the effectiveness of training completely, observable or measureable behaviours should be compared before and after training. Long-term assessment with measureable outcomes is needed. 相似文献
