Application of CIMS in the Quality Management of Building Enterprises

Application fields of CIMS and related technologies have become more and more wider,especially in manufacturing industry,but there isn't paid an attention to value in construction industry.This paper expounds the great functions of CIMS on improving the comprehensive competitive capabilities and quality of construction of building enterprises, as breakthrough with quality management and control of building engineering. On the basis of throughly analyzing the feasibility and necessarility of application of CIMS in construction enterprises,combining with the practical conditions of construction industry,it puts forward the point that CIMS's rope theory applied in manufacturing industry popularizes to construction industry. With making full use of the present conditions and combining with integrations of information and function of CIMS, the construction enterprises will set up CAQ systems of building engineering which are suitable for the practical conditions of China.     

Power over,power to,power with: Shifting perceptions of power for local economic development in the Philippines

Power has long been recognised as crucial to the sustainability of community development interventions; however, the way in which space affects power relations within such interventions has remained relatively under‐theorised in the development literature. Many practitioners continue to regard power as located centrally and as embedded in particular institutions, networks, knowledge and resources. According to this logic, processes of empowerment involve the redistribution of these resources to marginalised groups through their participation in development interventions such as microfinance and sustainable livelihood initiatives. The danger inherent in such development approaches is that they can discourage the potential for participants to use their own agency by overemphasising an existing lack of resources locally and inadvertently feeding a sense of dependency on formal development interventions initiated by external agencies. This paper suggests that a post‐structural conceptualisation of power as dynamic, multiple and mediated at the local level offers a more productive starting point for thinking about approaches to empowerment. Drawing on data from an action research project designed to initiate community enterprises in a small rural municipality in the Philippines, I suggest how a post‐structural approach to power can be enacted by building on the existing local resources and practices of everyday life.     

Culture,social relations and private sector development in the Thai and Vietnamese fish hatchery sectors

This paper provides a comparative analysis of the social and cultural dimensions of fish hatchery development in Vietnam and Thailand. Two detailed case studies highlight the importance of a variety of culturally mediated, informal interpersonal relationships in facilitating the establishment of new hatchery enterprises. The analysis reveals that in both Vietnam and Thailand, informal relationships are extremely effective conduits for the transfer of productive technologies from public institutions to private entrepreneurs and for the subsequent development of private enterprises. It is concluded that if current policies aimed at promoting private sector development are to be more successful, they must be better tailored to the contours of specific cultural geographies in locations where they are implemented.

In order to increase the economic benefits of building enterprises, as a vailid way,it is advisable to practise the method of project management and set up the market of essential factors of production, then, the responsibility, authority and benefit should be implemented down to everyone or every benefical subject. In this paper,notions on appropriate technology for the Steel Construction Congregated Apartments are proposed in order to deal with the technical impediment that arises from applying steel structural techniques to the congregated apartments.The appropriate technology for the steel construction congregated apartments is defined as systematic technologies that are in harmony with the status quo of Chinese productive force level,social culture and building technology,and as the strategies of choosing or balancing technology according to sustainable development principle.The principal design and constructing strategies of appropriate technology are as follows:(1) organization of residential space combined with steel construction techniques,(2) suitable structural system,(3) a new idea of fire resistance,and(4) kit building technique etc.A technological concept analysis about an ideal model of a steel construction system congregated apartment combined with the appropriate technology is also presented.

Innovation of Construction Projects Management Based on the Five-dimension Modeling

Nowadays,the computer technology is applied more and more widely in the architecture,engineering and construction industries(AEC).This paper introduces a methodology of construction project management based on the five-dimension modeling which integrates three-dimension building models,resources and schedules by the development of virtual construction technology.The application of this method also influences several aspects of project management such as range,time,cost,resource,communication and information management.Finally,the process of 5D modeling and the management practice are presented through a real life case in Beijing which proves to be a more efficient,productive and economy project.

The untold flavour of street food: Social infrastructure as a means of everyday politics for street vendors in Bandung,Indonesia

The existing literature on street vendors has largely examined processes of marginalisation of informal enterprises amid rapid urban development. At the same time, the resistance methods of street vendors against the constraints of urban development have been extensively explored. However, these studies tend to focus on the binary position between informal and formal, as well as on the overt confrontation and conflicts between vendors and the state, which risks simplifying the heterogeneity of interests in the everyday practice of street vending. Delving into the daily work of street vendors in Bandung city, this article explores the everyday practice of traders in order to identify their subtle forms of resistance to removal and to the negative perceptions attached to them. By adopting the analytics of ‘people as infrastructure’ (Simone, 2004) and the idea of ‘building blocks of success’ for small enterprises (Turner, 2003), this article argues that social infrastructure is constituted and practiced through the construction of personal relationships and varied forms of informal economic exchange between vendors and their customers, informal organisers and neighbours, as well as through the adoption of new technology. Social infrastructures have become a means of building everyday politics for street vendors and a vital way of challenging the negative perception attached to street vending activities.

Urgency and Countermeasures for Technical Advancement in State-owned Construction Corporations

Along with development and standardization of market, and opening the building market to the outside world, the competition will more depend on the technique and strength of enterprises. 农业高校专业课教学数据库建设探讨——以构建果品蔬菜加工工艺学教学数据库为例

以果品蔬菜加工二工艺学教学数据库为例,探讨建设基于网络平台,能有效提高专业课教学质量的数据库。数据库可集成本课程多年的教学经验、成果,收录教师资料、图书资料目录、论文全文、课程视频、生产工艺、知名企业等内容,可促进教师、师生间的交流,为农业高校专业课教学、学习和实践提供信息参考。     

农业生产性服务对农地经营规模的影响

适度规模经营是提高农业竞争力和加快农业转型的关键举措,农业生产性服务水平是农地经营规模的重要约束条件和影响因素。为了分析农业生产性服务对农户经营规模的影响,及其不同服务对当前农地规模的影响差异,对2013—2014年期间开展的10个省份、1121个农户的调研数据进行分析。采用逐步回归的最小二乘法,对农地经营规模和农业生产性服务业进行了相关性分析。结果表明,农业生产性服务与农地经营规模有显著的正相关关系;当前农村生产性服务项目主要集中在节约劳动成本的传统服务,从农业经营规模扩大的角度看,借贷款服务、农业保险服务、土地流转服务、专业化农机服务等新型生产性服务对农业发展将产生越来越大的影响。该研究结果将为中国农村生产性服务业发展的方向和重点提供借鉴。     

基于多元化经营视角下的我国农业上市公司成长性问题研究

农业上市公司的成长应该说是一个持续的研究热点,社会经济发展需要这个产业的发展,需要这个产业微观主体农业上市公司的壮大,而对于成长中的多元化经营给企业带来应有的额外收益,在目前企业经营中还没有明显显现。作为我国先进农业生产力旗帜代表的农业上市公司,目前普遍存在着相对数量小、规模普遍较小、科技程度不高,还有就是生产经营过程中的背农多元化转型等问题,笔者认为这是一个事物发展的必然和允许存在的偏离,关键是正视和解决这些问题,本文将对我国农业上市公司成长中的多元化问题作分析研究。     

Internationalization of SMEs in the Baltic Sea Region: Barriers of cross-national collaboration considering regional innovation strategies for smart specialization

This paper provides new evidence on barriers that hamper small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) in the Baltic Sea Region (BSR) to establish international collaboration. Our analysis makes use of collected data concerning internationalization of SMEs in seven BSR countries. Our logistic multivariate regression model, which we applied after selecting relevant variables using the LASSO method, indicates a significant positive effect for the entities´ demand in support to acquire clients as well as the absence of foreign markets operations. A significant adverse effect is found for cooperation agreements as a support tool for internationalization as well as the interest to participate in an innovation and internationalization system. SMEs rather desire their internationalization capacity building than direct support in acquiring clients. Overall, our results support the hypothesis that strengthening cross-national collaborations and establishing appropriate support programs are important toward innovativeness and competitiveness among SMEs in the BSR. Smart Specialization Strategies (S3) could provide a framework for building cross-national collaborations.
