On the Regional Culture Features of the Traditional Folk Housing Architecture of Huizhou Style

The traditional architecture of Huizhou style with its unique regional cultural features makes a well- developed genre of architecture in late ancient China. Especially, the traditional folk housing of Huizhou style is the most vivid embodiment of Huizhou culture, reflecting the social history and culture in Huizhou area. The location and setting of the traditional folk housing in ancient Huizhou is greatly influenced by the geomantic theory, a fact that can be best detected in the practice of building artificial landscapes at the accesses to villages. The internal structure of the traditional folk housing of Huizhou style vividly reveals the ideology and the system of the patriarchy in ancient Huizhou. Being traders but sticking to the identity and temperament of Confucian scholars, local merchants of ancient Huizhou fostered a unique culture, which has shaped an distinctive artistic charm found in the internal decoration and furnishings of the traditional folk housing in ancient Huizhou.     

Spatial Distribution and Formation Mechanism of Chinese Folk Song Cultural Landscape Genes

Folk song as a representative of traditional Chinese folk culture is the expression of landscape culture in a certain regional space.According to landscape gene theory,gene structure of folk song cultural landscape was recognized from two dimensions:subject form and cultural environment,and quantitative data were combined to analyze spatial distribution features of folk song cultural landscape genes.According to the analysis,in terms of style,work song is mainly distributed on plains,mountain song is distributed in mountainous areas,and ditty in the eastern watershed of the Yangtze River,in terms of theme,work and production folk songs are mainly distributed in eastern regions with intensive farming,while love and marriage folk songs in regions far away from the Central Plain Culture.Folk song cultural landscape is a result of the interaction between man and geographical conditions,residents in different geographical environments have different perception spaces to create folk songs with regional cultural symbols.     

The Real Implication of Conservation of Historical Block-Thinking from the Conception Design of Ciqikou Block

With the development of city, more and more people are aware of that like the traditional building, the historical block should be protected because of the historical deposits. However, for a long period, more time are spend on material conservation, such as the archaeological studies and restorations of historical vestiges and their surroundings, while little is spend on spiritual aspects, such as the research on folk custom, social environment and humane studies. From an international academic communication-the conception design of Ciqikou, it is suggested that the conservation of historical block is different from that of single building. In order to preserve the integral environment of historical block, the dwelling environment of local people should be taken into account. This paper aims at comparison of and discussion on the protection and development of historical block both at home and abroad.     

Merging Traditional Dwelling Form into Modern Neighborhood—— A Holiday Villa District's Planning and Design in Shanghai

Taking a holiday villa district for example, this paper explored the ways of merging traditional dwelling form into modern neighborhood, in the planning and design of this villa district, external space designs of traditional villages were borrowed to stress the construction of traditional spaces, and the layout of road traffi c. It was elaborated that in the design of Chinese residential buildings, not only should Chinese style be applied in the facade design of dwellings, but also traditional dwelling forms should be merged with modern life, so the essence of traditional resident culture can be demonstrated in modern residential areas.     

Color Expression of Architectural Emotion Language from the Perspective of Public Art

Against the background of "architecturalization" of public art, the significance of architectural color design lies not only in the visual element of architectural environment, but also in the emotion expression of city culture and spirit of the time. Architectural colors should be constructed from the 6 aspects, namely, conveying city spirit, coordinating the environment, showing regional characteristics, reflecting public concept, obtaining public sympathy, combining cultural connotations of color and functions of space. Moreover, the impact of regional culture on architectural color should be properly handled, the emotions of architecture for the city reflected on the surface of architecture, which can reverse the convergence of city images to some extent, and promote the diversity of regional humanistic architectural landscapes.     

Research on Comfort Index of Gan-Lan Dwellings in LongSheng Area of Guangxi Province,Guilin City

The research on architectures with ethnic characteristics increase both domestic and abroad, and one of the important objectives of which is to find whether there is good adaptability between the space and forms of architecture and area climatic conditions, In this paper, through the field measurement of parameters and meteorological data of stilt style architecture of the minorities in Guilin of Guangxi province and ordinary residential building, and using Design-Builder simulation software to model, conducting the CFD simulation, thermal environment inside the building and indoor temperatures of the whole year were obtained, then we calculated that thermal comfort index inside the building for the full year. Comparing the simulation results, we concluded that thermal environment inside the building and thermal comfort index of stilt style architecture significantly outperformed the ordinary ones. Stilt style architectures are more suitable to the climates in Guangxi province. At present, the research of stilt style architecture is still at an early age, and this paper can provide basis for the research on the energy saving technology of stilt style architecture.     

Study on Dominant Expression of Regional Culture of the Qinling Mountains in Local Residential Buildings

Regional culture of the Qinling Mountains shows distinct features since it was born in the local outstanding ecological environment, study on local architecture is significant for the dominant expression of regional culture, protection of local environment, and echoing with the theme of ecological civilization construction. This paper, on the basis of the mutual infl uence and evolution of regional culture and style of local residential buildings, explored the reasons for the weakening of local architectural style, and specified the signifi cance of promoting local style of the living environment. By studying the infl uence of local natural environment and humanistic environment on architectural style along the northern foot of the Qinling Mountains, the paper explored the expression of regional culture in residential buildings, with Xian Garden(Xi'an Yuanzi) as an example, and aimed at giving useful help to the dominant expression of regional culture in modern residential buildings.

The new urbanization provides opportunities for the ecological protection of traditional regional culture. On Sustainable Development Mode of the Folk Dwellings Landscape

The development mode of the folk dwellings landscape both at home and abroad is studied.The influence of the development of the folk buildings and dwellings landscape on the traditional architectural culture,the ecological environment quality and the tourism is analyzed.The sustainable development mode for the folk dwellings landscape is investigated.As a conclusion,it is suggested that the national culture and the ecological environment should be preserved in the development of the economy of folk dwellings tourism in West China and the whole country as well.     

太原市晋源区历史园林保护利用现状分析

太原市是历史文化名城,其中晋源区是太原市内历史风貌保存最完好、自然景观与人文景观资源最为丰富的历史园林群。采用实地调查、实例分析等方法,介绍晋源区概况;对历史文化遗产进行了调查统计;以晋祠、晋阳古城遗址、天龙山等历史园林为例,从环境因素、人为因素、整体景观与局部景观的协调性、历史园林与现代景观的协调性等方面,对该区历史园林的保护和利用现状及现存问题进行调查分析;并针对所存在的问题提出相应的修复、改善措施。指出各类历史园林都应注重保护其历史原真性和完整性,协调好保护与利用的关系。对于已经逐步转化为城市公共空间的历史公共园林,在确保原有历史风貌的基础上,通过景观设计的方式对其进行科学、合理地开发,将历史园林更好地与现代景观融合。     

Design and Research of TT & C-oriented Generation of Digital Range Environments

Based on the requirements of the space range informatization, the paper discusses the necessity of digital range environment construction; analyzes the function and the main characteristics of digital space range environment, and suggests the constitution and system architecture of digital range environment. The key techniques of digital range environment creation applying visualization interactive simulation are also analyzed and discussed, which include the techniques of 3D-terrain generation, a fast algorithm for 3D-modeling based on complexity, the design of distributed simulation environment and the human computer interaction, etc.

PROSPECTS FOR ARCHITECTURAL ENVIRONMENT OF CITIES

The quality of architectural environment in cities is one of important appraisale standards of material and spiritual civilization. Architectural environment is always regarded as an organic part of architecture and it is thought as a whole in planing and design. Owing to the nature, human communication, sense of overall and nature protection etc., the change of age has emerged in cities. Because we didn't pay attention to it, cities have shown pollution of architectural environment. This paper analyses following problems: cities have undergone historical change during extention, reconstruction and development; cultural inheritance shows the individual character of cities; with the aid of environment of nature and afforestation, the sentiment of architectural environment in cities is improved; architectural environment has limited the scale and visual angle; architectural environment faces the surmountable period.     

Research on Ecological Space Planning Oriented Urban River Landscape Planning

Based on the generalized landscape perspective, regional connotation of urban river landscape is expanded. The area connotation of urban river landscape is expanded based on the generalized landscape perspective. In addition to natural and functional attributes, river landscape should be regarded as a regional space element based on heterogeneous space scale. First, as for research method system, the space research models(including ecological footprint, space planning, and landscape pattern index, etc.) coupled with different angle scales and interdisciplinary theory, are utilized to study different correlations and results formed by urban river landscape elements and other regional space elements from the perspective of the regional ecological space, and the overall development goal of the urban river landscape pattern based on the goals of the regional ecological space planning is obtained. Second, the oriented urban river landscape planning and the "M" type close-tonature design strategy are evaluated through the city function zoning orientation and micro-scale urban river landscape pattern index. The research realizes the compatibility of overall goals in terms of the regional ecology, the development of urban functional areas, and the river landscape planning, without losing micro difference and maneuverability based on the urban river landscape planning and design oriented strategy, which innovates the new approach of urban river landscape planning and design with sustainable and balanced development of regional resources, multi-scale, and multiple objectives.

Spatial Layout of Mountainous Elderly Residential Districts

Taking the planning of elderly building for example, this paper explored the spatial layout, entrance/exit design, road space design and landscape design of the elderly residential districts against the background of population aging and increasing demands of ecological residence. In addition, the paper tried to fully use outstanding natural environment in mountainous areas to plan the elderly community, and integrate the characteristics of mountainous community planning and elderly buildings.     

Analysis and Reform Strategies of Campus Landscape of Hainan University

Campus landscape as an important campus green space carries such important functions as traffic, learning, communication, recreation, and entertainment. Landscape design of campus green spaces should not only be practical and beautiful, but also be able to show the natural and cultural atmosphere of campus, and the charm of the university based on its regional features, ecological environment and historical context. Through further analysis of green space landscape on Haidian Campus of Hainan University,this paper summarized the advantages and disadvantages of its green space landscape, and proposed the strategies for improving campus green space landscape of Hainan University from the perspectives of regionality, ecology and individuality.
