RESEARCH ON A KIND OF GREY LINEAR PROGRAMMING AND THEIR DUAL THEORIES

In this paper, a kind of grey linear programming with grey interval coefficients is discussed,the definitions of the first and second whitenized linear programmlngs and the grey dual linear programmings are presented, the relationships between the solutions of the above three kinds of programming and the solution of the primal programming are explored, and some new conclusions are obtained.     

A DUAL ALGORITHM OF PIECEWISE LINEAR PROGRAMMING WITH SUCCESSIVELY INCREASING SLOPES

A fast dual algorithm is presented for the piecewise linear programming with successively increasing slopes. The concept of the pointer is used to derive the optimality and the feasibility conditions based on the dual simplex principle, which avoids enlarging the scale of the problem due to introducing piecewise variables so that storage and calculating requirements are reduced. Finally,the example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the presented algorithm.     

EXISTENCE OF A BASIC OPTIMAL SOLUTION FOR LINEAR VECTOR EXTREME VALUE PROBBEM

In this paper, the concept of basic for linear vector extreme value problem is introduced in the partially ordered vector space. Some properties and results of the linear programming are generalized. And the existaence therom of basic optimal solution is proved.     

A NEW CLASS OF AUGMENTED LAGRANIAN FUNCTION FOR NONLINEAR PROGRAMMING

In this paper, a new class of augmented Langrangian function for solving optimization problem with twice continuously differentiable inequality constraints is studied. Under mild assumptions on the parameters of augmented function, the equivalence of stationary points of the function and K-T points of the restricted problem is proved as well as their extreme points.     

A CLASS OF SINGULAR CAUCHY PROBLEM FOR A QUASILINEAR HYPERBOLIC EQUATION

This paper studies a class of singular Cauchy problem for aquasilinear hyperbolic equation and shows that there exists a uniquely stablesolution by quasi-differential operators.     

APPLICATION OF A CONVEX NETWORK FLOW PROGRAMMING TO THE ECONOMIC POWER DISPATCH

Analyses the characteristics of convex network flow programming of the economic power dispatch with security and presents a rapid algorithm. The numerical examples are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the algorithm.     

A METHOD FOR THE ORIENTATION OF CHINESE CHARACTERS IN THE INTERFACE PROGRAMMING OF AUTO CAD DXF DOCUMENT

The orientation of Chinese characters is very importantin the interface programming design of Auto CAD DXF documents.Beca-use some parameters are automatically computed by the Auto CADsystem,it is very difficult for Chinese characters to be oriented in DXFinterface programmings.This paper reports the calculating method of ori-ented parameters and the orientation method of Chinese characters in theinterface programming of DXF documents,and gives a general Fortran 77subroutine for the orientation of Chinese characters.The method solves thedifficulty of the orientation of Chinese characters in the interface program-mings of DXF documents,and makes it convenient for various CAD pic-tures to be oriented in Chinese Characters.     

A SENSITIVITY METHOD FOR THE WEIGHTING MATRIX SELECTION OF LINEAR OPTIMAL CONTROL

The paper analyses the relations between closed-loop system dynamic qualities and linear optimal control weighting matrix Q and offers a sensitivity method for selecting weighting matrix Q. As a practical example, a linear optimal supplement excitation control system is designed for a single machine-infinite bus power system using the presented method. Theoretical . analysis and simulation results have shown that the dynamic qulities of the control system are very satisfactory.     

PARALLEL ALGORITHMS FOR A LARGE SPARSE SYSTEM OF LINEAR EQUATIONS

ABS algorithms new agorithm is introduced with the discussions of the sparse structuere of the projection matrixes and the reorder methods of equations. To apply ABS algorithm on qarallel computer, the parallel ABSalgorithu is also discussed with numerical examples and the time need for the computation.

SUBSTRONG CONVERGENCE OF THE FUNCTION SEQUENCE ON THE TOPOLOGICAI SPACE

The limit of convergent continuous function sequencemay be discontinuous.This makes difficults both in theory and applica-tion.For example,it makes the condition for operation of limits of integralof the function sequence become very strong.In general,it requiresuniform convergence to the function sequence.Therefore it is very imp-ortant to study such convergence as the limit of continuous function sequence,the limit is continuous.This paper studies a known substrong converg-ence of a function sequence in topological space and proves the necessaryand sufficient conditionof this convergence.     

APPLICATION OF DECOMPOSITION COORDINATION METHOD OF LARGE - SCALE SYSTEMS AND METHOD OF NONLINEAR PROGRAMMING TO ECONOMIC SCHEDULING OF POWER SYSTEM

In this paper,we discuss a mathematical mode) for optimization of active power dispatch of large-scale hydro-thermal power systems with cascaded hydropower stations. The following factors are taken into account: the variation of the head in the hydropower stations, water transport delay between cascaded stations etc. Using the decomposition-coordination method of large scale systems, we obtain a three-layer-hierarchical coordination system and a three-layer-hierarchical computational structure. We also discuss the computational methods which are used by each hierarchy. We have taken a test computation and analysing the result of an actual hydrothermal power system. The computational results show that it may obtain a satisfactory economic benefit. The paper provides some research work on the economic scheduling of hydrothermal power systems by the decomposition-coordination method of large-scale systems,multiplier method and a new variable metric method.     

A STUDY OF THE DUPLEX YIELD CHARACTER OF DUAL PHASE STEEL

In this paper, the duplex yield character (DYC) of dualphase steel has been discussed. The results of the tests show that the DYC is due to the martensite deformation from the elastic state to the plastic state and the microvoid formed from the interphase boundaries. The DYC is directly affected by the phase ratio and the shape of structure. According to the different deformation character of the duplex phase, the uniform deformation of dual phase steel divide into three stages.

This paper presents a new subgradient of set-valuedmapping and discusses its close properties and its no empty convexproperties.Under proper conditions,it proves to be true.     

A NONLINEAR PROGRAMMING MODEL AND ITS ALGORITHM FOR TRANSMISSION NETWORK PLANNING

The problem of transmission network planning is studied thoroughly by applying the mathmatical optimal tecqhniue in this paper. A novel approach is put forward for computer aided transmission network planning, which is quite different from what is based on D.C. load flow equations. A nonlinear transmission planning model is set up by regarding A.C. load flow equations as the system model. A practical model which can be solved more easily, and an united algorithm are obtained by applying the SUMT to the nonlinear model. The results of some practical examples indicate that this method can not only make the planning results more accurate, but also provide the voltage qualities and produce planning plans autometically and seek the plans optimally and fast.     

A CONSTITUTIVE FUNCTION FOR A NONLINEAR ANALYSIS OF STRUCTURES OF LINEAR ELEMENTS

In this paper, a constitutive function in form of integration is presented for a nonlinear analysis of structures of linear elements. With applications of a constitutive function, the truss and frame elements material nonlinear stiffness equations are derived. The results shows the convenience in numerical analysis and the ability to solve some difficult problems in tn the structural behavior study both in loading and unloading process by use of the presented constitutive function.
