BACKGROUND: Spodoptera litura (F.) is an important pest worldwide, with over 112 host plants, and is exposed to insecticides throughout the year, resulting in the rapid development of resistance. Insecticide mixtures can delay the development of resistance more effectively than sequences or rotations. Cypermethrin, deltamethrin, profenofos, chlorpyrifos and fipronil were assessed separately and in mixtures against laboratory susceptible S. litura and two field‐collected populations. RESULTS: The field‐collected population from Khanewal (KWL) was significantly more resistant to cypermethrin, deltamethrin, chlorpyrifos and profenofos than one collected from Muzaffar Garh (MGH). Mixtures of cypermethrin + chlorpyrifos or profenofos and of deltamethrin + chlorpyrifos or profenofos at 1:1, 1:10 and 1:20 ratios significantly increased (P < 0.01) toxicity to cypermethrin and deltamethrin in field populations. The combination indices of cypermethrin + chlorpyrifos at 1:1 and 1:10 ratios and cypermethrin + fipronil at 1:1, 1:10 and 1:20 ratios for the KWL strain and of cypermethrin + profenofos or fipronil at 1:1, 1:10 and 1:20 ratios for MGH were significantly below 1, suggesting synergistic interactions. The inhibitors DEF and PBO largely overcame resistance to deltamethrin, cypermethrin and profenofos, suggesting that resistance to the insecticides was associated with esterase and monooxygenase detoxification respectively. CONCLUSION: Chlorpyrifos, profenofos and fipronil could be used in mixtures to restore cypermethrin and deltamethrin susceptibility. White grubs, Leucopholis spp. are subterranean pests of arecanut grown in South India. Grub infestation leads to yellowing, stem tapering, and crown size and yield reduction. Use of chemical insecticide to mage the white grubs gives varying degree of success. Hence an attempt was made to screen newer and safer insecticides. Imidacloprid (LC50 at 120 h = 16.849 ppm on III instar larvae), chlorpyriphos (LC50 = 14.242) and bifenthrin (LC50 = 12.797 ppm) were identified as effective insecticides. Evaluation of these insecticide in the field over two year period indicated the following efficacy in reducing larval population: chlorpyriphos @ 4 kg a.i/ha (83.31%) > bifenthrin @ 4 kg a.i./ha (82.83%) > imidacloprid @ 0.24 kg a.i./ha (75.84%) > bifenthrin @ 2 kg a.i./ ha (74.26%) > chlorpyriphos @ 2 kg a.i./ha (69.15%) > chlorpyriphos @ 1 kg a.i./ha (61.79%) > imidacloprid @ 0.12 kg a.i./ha (56.54%) > bifenthrin @ 1 kg a.i./ha (54.34%) > imidacloprid @ 0.06 kg a.i./ha (41.47%). Bifenthrin in soil persisted for a longer period than chlorpyriphos. On the day of application, 59.46 ppm bifenthrin residue was recovered from soil. On 10th day, it was 7.29 ppm which decreased to 2.59 ppm on 30th day and was beyond detection limit on 65th day. Chlorpyriphos exhibited a rapid degradation in the initial stage; 27.46 ppm residue on the day of application, which further reduced to 0.964 ppm on 10th day, and was below the detection limit on the 30th day. Growth of Trichoderma harzianum was not affected by bifenthrin even up to 40 ppm concentration. However, chlorpyriphos affected the growth of Trichoderma at higher than 5 ppm dose. Similarly, imidacloprid inhibited the colony growth from 2 ppm onwards. Having high lipophylic property and contact toxicity, bifenthrin would be an ideal alternative insecticide to chlorpyriphos for the management of white grubs in palm garden, which is safe and long persisting.  相似文献

Broad-spectrum insecticides are still widely being used. Chrysoperla carnea has been shown to develop resistance to the insecticides in the field. Knowledge of the evolution and genetics of resistance to insecticides in natural enemies could enable to explain how effectively natural enemies can be implemented in different IPM systems. To examine this, a population of C. carnea from Multan Pakistan was collected and was subjected to deltamethrin selection in the laboratory. Bioassays at generation G1 gave resistance ratios of 47, 86, 137, 76 and 110 for deltamethrin, alphamethrin lambdacyhalothrin, chlorpyrifos and profenofos respectively compared with susceptible Lab-PK. Bioassays at G4 with a deltamethrin-selected population (Delta-SEL) showed that selection gave resistance ratios of 896 and 30 for deltamethrin compared with the Lab-PK and UNSEL, respectively. Cross-resistance to other insecticides tested was observed in the selected population. A notable feature of the Delta-SEL strain was that resistance to deltamethrin, alphamethrin, lambdacyhalothrin, chlorpyrifos and profenofos did not decline over the course of four generations. Synergism tests with microsomal oxidase (MO) and esterase-specific inhibitors indicated that the deltamethrin resistance was associated with MO and, possibly, esterase activity. Reciprocal crosses between the Delta-SEL and Lab-PK strains indicated that resistance was autosomal and incompletely dominant. A direct test of monogenic inheritance suggested that resistance to deltamethrin was controlled by more than one locus. The broad spectrum of resistance, cross resistance, incompletely dominant mode of inheritance and stability of resistance to insecticides suggest that Delta-SEL population of C. carnea could be compatible with most spray programs.  相似文献

Three experiments were carried out during three consecutive years to evaluate 19 insecticides and 12 tank mixtures of different groups of insecticides against the whiteflyBemisia tabaci and its predators and parasitoids under field conditions in cotton. In the first experiment, the whitefly population was lower in treatments with thiacloprid and higher in those with black warrant (a.i. alcohol) and cypermethrin; the number of predators was higher with Agri-50 and spinosad and lowest with cypermethrin, whereas percent parasitism was higher with thiacloprid and lower with methamidophos. In the second experiment, the whitefly population was lower in treatments with buprofezin, pyriproxyfen and diafenthiuron and higher in those with endosulfan, imidacloprid and thiamethoxam; the number of predators was higher with pyriproxyfen and lower with thiamethoxam, whereas percent parasitism was higher with pyriproxyfen and lower with thiamethoxam. In the third experiment, the whitefly population was lower in a treatment mixture with buprofezin + fenpropathrin and higher in that with thiamethoxam + chlorpyrifos; the number of predators was higher with buprofezin + fenpropathrin and lower with deltamethrin + triazophos and deltamethrin + chlorpyrifos, whereas percent parasitism was higher with the mixture of pyriproxyfen + chlorpyrifos and lower in imidacloprid + chlorpyrifos, betacyfluthrin + triazophos, and deltamethrin + triazophos. 为筛选防治农业新发害虫双委夜蛾Athetis dissimilis(Hampson)的有效药剂,采用浸叶法测定了其不同龄期幼虫对8类18种常用杀虫剂的敏感性,并观察了幼虫对不同药剂的中毒症状。结果表明:3~6龄双委夜蛾幼虫对辛硫磷、联苯菊酯、高效氯氟氰菊酯、溴氰菊酯、甲氨基阿维菌素苯甲酸盐、氯虫苯甲酰胺和溴氰虫酰胺的敏感性较高,LC50值为0.138 1~27.40 mg/L;3龄及4龄幼虫对毒死蜱、高效氯氰菊酯、氟啶脲、茚虫威和虫螨腈敏感性较高,LC50值小于22.63 mg/L,而5龄和6龄幼虫对上述药剂的敏感性均有所降低,LC50值大于38.13 mg/L;各龄期幼虫对甲基嘧啶磷、灭幼脲及新烟碱类杀虫剂的敏感性均较低,LC50值大于40.83 mg/L。双委夜蛾幼虫对不同类别杀虫剂的中毒症状存在差异,其中,经有机磷类、新烟碱类、吡咯类及齅二嗪类杀虫剂处理后,幼虫表现为体表干燥、体壁皱缩;而经拟除虫菊酯类杀虫剂处理后幼虫表现为体壁柔软、充满体液。就生物活性测定结果而言,推荐溴氰虫酰胺、氯虫苯甲酰胺、辛硫磷、联苯菊酯、高效氯氟氰菊酯、溴氰菊酯及甲氨基阿维菌素苯甲酸盐等药剂可用于双委夜蛾的应急防治。  相似文献

The neurotoxic action of permethrin and chlorpyrifos on striatal dopaminergic pathways was investigated in C57BL/6 mice. Technical permethrin (50/50 ratio of cis and trans isomers, 200 mg/kg) and/or chlorpyrifos (75 mg/kg) were administered three times over a two-week period, with 1-methyl-4-phenyl-1,2,3,6-tetrahydropyridine (MPTP, 20 mg/kg) given on day one. Alterations in expression of α-synuclein, dopamine transporter (DAT), and tyrosine hydroxylase (TH) were analyzed at 1 or 28 days post-treatment. MPTP alone produced a long-lasting lesion in striatal dopaminergic pathways, with a depression of TH and DAT protein at both post-treatment times. Chlorpyrifos or permethrin alone had no effect on TH or DAT expression levels. No greater effect on protein expression was observed in mice treated with both MPTP and insecticides at 1 day post-treatment. However, by day 28 a significant reduction (p < 0.05) of TH and DAT was observed in the mice treated with MPTP, permethrin, and chlorpyrifos, compared with the mice given MPTP alone. Significant alteration (p < 0.05) of α-synuclein expression by MPTP (45% decrease) and permethrin (20% increase) occurred at 1 day post-treatment, but reverted to control levels by day 28. Parallel experiments with pure cis or trans isomers of permethrin (100 mg/kg), showed that each isomer caused about half the up-regulation of α-synuclein. These findings demonstrate that the co-application of pyrethroid or organophosphorus insecticides enhance the neurotoxicity of MPTP in C57BL/6 mice, and that a slowly developing neurotoxicity may occur after termination of high-dose exposure.  相似文献

Sensitivity to epoxiconazole of 90 single-spore isolates of Magnaporthe oryzae was determined. The EC50 values for epoxiconazole in inhibiting mycelial growth of the 90 M. oryzae isolates were 0.11–0.86 μg/ml, with an average EC50 value of 0.260?±?0.082 μg/ml. There was no correlation between sensitivity to epoxiconazole and sensitivity to carbendazim or iprobenfos. In protective and curative tests, epoxiconazole applied at 200 μg/ml provided over 70 % control efficacy, while tricyclazole exhibited better protective than curative activity. The results of four field trials performed in 2010 and 2011 at two sites showed that epoxiconazole at 112.5 g a.i/ha provided over 75 % control efficacy, which was similar to tricyclazole with 300 g a.i./ha and better than carbendazim with 562.5 g a.i./ha.  相似文献

为明确陕西关中地区麦蚜田间种群对杀虫剂的抗药性现状,采用浸叶法测定了兴平、礼泉、凤翔、岐山、扶风地区麦田禾谷缢管蚜种群对高效氯氰菊酯、溴氰菊酯、吡虫啉、异丙威、毒死蜱、阿维菌素、氟啶虫胺腈等7种杀虫剂的抗性水平。结果表明,禾谷缢管蚜对高效氯氰菊酯的抗性水平最高,其中凤翔种群对高效氯氰菊酯达到高水平抗性(抗性倍数为72.5),岐山和扶风种群对该药产生中等水平抗性(抗性倍数分别为31.4、29.9);5个地区的禾谷缢管蚜对溴氰菊酯、吡虫啉、毒死蜱、异丙威和阿维菌素的抗性水平较低,表现为敏感、敏感性下降或者低抗性;5个地区的试虫对氟啶虫胺腈均表现为敏感。分析认为,高效氯氰菊酯不适合用于关中地区禾谷缢管蚜防治,氟啶虫胺腈作为一种新型杀虫剂,可以在该虫防治中推广使用,吡虫啉、阿维菌素等其他几种杀虫剂可以在禾谷缢管蚜的防治中交替使用。  相似文献

利用Y形嗅觉仪观测了5种杀虫剂影响异色瓢虫和龟纹瓢虫对烟草叶片与烟粉虱复合体的选择行为。结果表明,在正常生长状况下,烟草叶片释放的挥发物对异色瓢虫和龟纹瓢虫无明显引诱作用,而烟草叶片受到烟粉虱危害后所释放的挥发性次生物质则对异色瓢虫和龟纹瓢虫有明显的招引作用;在杀虫剂处理后,30%毒死蜱和25 g/L溴氰菊酯几乎不会影响到瓢虫的搜索行为,30%啶虫脒则会显著降低瓢虫对猎物的选择率,20%吡虫啉和1.8%阿维菌素处理后,则会明显有利于瓢虫寻找猎物的行为。  相似文献

The rice stem borer, Chilo suppressalis (Walker), an important insect pest of rice in China, has developed resistances to several classes of insecticides in field. In order to investigate multiple resistance mechanisms, synergistic tests were conducted with the Ruian (RA) population and Lianyungang (LYG) population, two representative populations to different insecticides. Results showed that diethyl maleate (DEM), S,S,S-tributyl phosphorotrithioate (DEF) and piperonyl butoxide (PBO), had no significant synergistic or inhibitory effect on the high level of resistance to monosultap (313.4-fold) and moderate level to chlorpyrifos (36.9-fold) in Ruian field population from the year 2011 (RA11). DEF significantly synergized the activity of triazophos in RA11 population (536.8-fold), with synergism ratio of 1.92. DEF and PBO significantly suppressed 43.3% and 40.4% of resistance to fipronil in RA11 population (48.4-fold), respectively, with the synergistic ratios of 1.76 and 1.69. When pretreated with PBO, the activity of deltamethrin against RA11 population were significantly synergized, with synergism ratio of 9.57, and with reducing resistance levels from 152.5- to 15.9-fold. The results of this study indicated that resistance to several classes of insecticide among the field populations of C. suppressalis might be provided by the combination of the multiple resistance mechanisms. Metabolic resistance mechanism might be the major reason for the evolution for resistance to deltamethrin and fipronil, while resistance to monosultap, triazophos and chlorpyrifos is not associated with metabolic resistance.  相似文献

本文研究了氟虫腈等杀虫剂对鲫鱼的急性毒性作用。室内毒力测定结果表明:溴氰菊酯、高效氯氟氰菊酯对鲫鱼的毒性最高,毒死蜱、三唑磷毒性较高,氟虫腈、阿维菌素较安全,杀虫双对鲫鱼最安全。大田实验结果与室内实验结果基本一致,只是溴氰菊酯在稻田环境下,对鲫鱼的急性毒性大幅度下降。  相似文献

The study revealed that when the population of blossom thrips exceeded 15 individuals per flower, spraying with deltamethrin, monocrotophos, chlorpyrifos, phenthoate or ethofenprox can be considered, and the longest residual action was obtained with deltamethrin.  相似文献

Different insecticides have been tested for the control of the olive bark beetle, Phloeotribus scarabaeoides Bern. This scolytid can be managed at two points in its biological cycle: in pruned logs, where it excavates reproduction galleries, or in living trees, after emergence from the logs, where it digs feeding galleries. In mortality laboratory bioassays, the efficiency of organophosphorus insecticides has been ranked as follows: chlorpyrifos + dimethoate < formothion < methidathion. Formothion and methidathion, the two most efficient, were sprayed on olive logs together with a pyrethroid insecticide, deltamethrin, and a formulation which combined an organophosphorus (fenitrothion) and a pyrethroid (cypermethrin) insecticide. Deltamethrin inhibited the excavation of new reproduction galleries and induced a repellent effect on the olive pest. In contrast, none of the organophosphorus insecticides or the combination, fenitrothion + cypermethrin, were able to control the olive bark beetle. In olive trees, deltamethrin controlled this olive pest without showing the repellent effect observed for logs. Ethylene, a plant hormone, has been reported as an attractant for the olive bark beetle. The use of dispensers which released ethylene increased the number of P. scarabaeoides approaching the treated olive trees, thus favouring its use in a lure-and-trap control system.  相似文献

研究了Bt、克百威、丁硫克百威、溴氰菊酯、杀虫双和辛硫磷6种药剂处理对玉米螟的田间防治效果。结果表明,6种药剂均能显著降低玉米的被害株率,克百威的防效最好,其次为丁硫克百威、辛硫磷和溴氰菊酯,对被害株的相对防效分别为71.70%、70.03%、68.47%和68.11%,Bt生物制剂的防效达66%以上;6种药剂对幼虫的相对防效均达到80%以上;Bt生物制剂的防效与其他化学制剂间差异不显著(p<0.01)。辛硫磷处理易发生药害,但5 d后叶片白斑逐渐消失。  相似文献

Resistance management, targeting insect pests is one of the key components in developing integrated pest management strategies. Arguably, resistance monitoring is a scientific undertaking that can support and inform resistance management tactics and strategies. To monitor the current resistance status in Amrasca devastans against conventional insecticides (deltamethrin, bifenthrin, cypermethrin, chlorpyrifos, profenofos, acephate, and methomyl) which are used by the farming community as the predominant means to control this pest. Field populations of A. devastans were collected from six different districts: Multan, Bahawalpur, Khanewal, Lahore, Dera Ghazi Khan and Muzaffargarh from Punjab in Pakistan. The adult populations tested were 11.10–92.87 times more resistant to deltamethrin, 5.87–14.11 times more to bifenthrin, 3.16–17.5 times more to cypermethrin, 2.65–36.42 times more to chlorpyrifos, 7.28–57.71 times more to profenofos, 1.65–11.13 times more to acephate and 2.55–43.31 times more to methomyl as compared to control (lab population). In our study, no to high levels of resistance were observed against pyrethroids and organophosphates. Development of resistance to these pyrethroids and organophosphates might be due to the injudicious use of these types of insecticides in field crops. This study suggests that use of these insecticides should be minimized to avoid development of resistance in A. devastans. Future studies are also recommended to use new chemistry insecticides with novel modes of action and/or insecticide mixtures that may reduce the reliance of the farming communities on these insecticides.  相似文献

Abstract

An experiment was designed to test the efficacy of various insecticides for the control of mustard aphid (Lipaphis erysimi (Kalt)) on mustard (Brassica juncea), variety RL 18 at the Research Farm of the Haryana Agricultural University, Hissar (India). Out of the 13 insecticides tried, each at two levels, it was found that methyldemeton 250 ml and menazon 250 g a.i. gave the maximum control of mustard aphid. Maximum yield of 1111 kg/ha was obtained with methyldemeton 250 ml (a.i./ha) against 360 kg/ha of the control.  相似文献

田间小区药效试验表明,乐斯本、氰戊菊酯、抑太保、Bt对葫芦科作物主要害虫瓜绢螟低龄幼虫都有很高的毒杀效果,其中抑太保、Bt效果较为缓慢。室内生测表明,乐斯本对寄生于瓜绢螟卵的赤眼蜂高毒,Bt则无毒。在秋黄瓜作物生长前中期连续施用乐斯本或Bt防治瓜绢螟,施药期间瓜绢螟均可得到较好的控制;但随着季节推移,在施用乐斯本的地块,瓜绢螟卵被寄生率很低,而在使用Bt的地块持续上升,高达70%以上;在停止使用杀虫剂12d后,施用乐斯本的地块瓜绢螟为害严重,而使用Bt的地块虫害被有效控制。结果表明,合理使用选择性农药可对天敌起到显著的保护和促增作用,并使瓜绢螟得到有效控制。  相似文献

山东省绿盲蝽田间种群对六种杀虫剂的敏感性监测   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
为了解山东地区绿盲蝽对常用杀虫剂的敏感性变化情况,于2010—2012年采用玻璃管药膜法监测山东聊城、菏泽、滨州、德州地区绿盲蝽田间种群对马拉硫磷、毒死蜱、灭多威、丁硫克百威、联苯菊酯和氟虫腈等6种杀虫剂的敏感性。结果显示,相对于2009年的监测数据,2010—2012 年各地绿盲蝽种群对不同杀虫剂表现出不同程度的敏感性变化,但相对毒力比值均小于10倍。其中对毒死蜱、联苯菊酯的敏感性均未降低,菏泽种群表现为敏感性增强,相对毒力比值小于1。2011—2012年德州种群对丁硫克百威、灭多威和氟虫腈的敏感性降低,相对毒力比值大于3倍,其它种群敏感性变化不大,相对毒力比值均小于3倍。3年间菏泽种群对马拉硫磷的敏感性变化不大,相对毒力比值小于3倍,其它种群敏感性均有所降低。因此,毒死蜱、马拉硫磷、联苯菊酯、丁硫克百威等仍是山东棉区防治绿盲蝽的有效药剂。  相似文献

Hessian fly was controlled to a maximum of 95% with organophosphate insecticides, in terms of the number of puparia and percentage tiller infestation at harvest. Granules: phorate at 1.68 kg/ha (1 1/2 lb/acre) as 10% granules in the seed furrow was most effective on durum wheat in 1967–8, with 69–92%, control, of tillers infested. 1.12 kg/ha gave 74–89% control, 0.56 kg/ha in the seed furrow 35–54%. Seed furrow treatment was more effective than band or broadcast treatment over young plants, although granules broadcast over young barley at 1.68 kg/ha of phorate gave 74% control in 1967–8. Fonofos (Dyfonate) granules at 1.55 kg fonofos/ha were most effective on barley in 1968–9, with 66% control. After fonofos and phorate, disulfoton at 1.68 kg disulfoton/ha was next in effect, with up to 86%, control in 1967-8 and 24% in 1968–9, but variable and not much more effective than at 0.56 kg/ha. Other insecticides were less effective. Seed dressings: disulfoton was the most effective, giving 79% control in 1967-8 on wheat and 77% on barley at a high rate of application that was phytotoxic in 1968–9. Diazinon, bromophos and ethion gave 15–38%, control and chlorfenvinphos and dimethoate less. Carbaryl dust at 1.12 kg carbaryl/ha gave 32% control. Yields were poor, but grain yield was increased by up to 33% in wheat in 1967-8, averaging about 15%. Barley yield was increased by 7% in 1967–8, and from 9–23% in 1968-9 by fonofos and phorate granules. Insect control reduced the number of tillers, increased the number of heads and increased the grain weight per head. In observation plots, chlormequat (CCC) spray alone at the 5-leaf stage reduced infestation of wheat by between 22% and 43%, but CCC with fertilizer, and fertilizer alone had no conclusive effect. High fly populations are partly due to leaving crop residues in the field at harvest. When these can be ploughed in, infestation should decrease. The use of insecticides may not be economic unless more consistent increases in yield can be obtained.  相似文献
