The effect of combinations of organic acids on digestive microbial population and total tract digestibility of piglets was studied. Thirty 19-21 days weaned pigs (5.4 +/- 0.23 kg, six pigs per treatment) were given a mixed feed with 10 ml water/kg (CTL) or 200 mEq/kg of formic acid (FOR), 1:1 formic:fumaric (FOFU), 1:1 formic:lactic (FOLA) or 2:1 formic:lactic (2FOLA). After 6-8 days, animals were slaughtered. In gastric contents, pH was higher (p = 0.01) with FOFU and lactobacilli tended (p = 0.08) to be lower with FOFU than CTL and FOLA, but coliform counts did not differ (p = 0.14). Acetate proportion was lower (p = 0.03), and propionate (p = 0.05) and butyrate (p = 0.01) higher, with FOFU than CTL, FOLA and 2FOLA. Intestinal coliform counts were higher (p = 0.03) with CTL than FOLA and 2FOLA, but there were no differences on lactobacilli. In intestinal contents, acetate tended (p = 0.06) to be lower with FOR than FOLA and 2FOLA, and butyrate was higher (p = 0.001) with FOR. Although not significantly, dry matter digestibility was 0.03-0.05 lower with CTL than with the other treatments. Combinations of organic acids in piglet diets modify gastric and intestinal microflora, the mixtures of formic:lactic appearing as the most interesting.  相似文献

Sixty-eight (Experiment 1, 46 days feeding) and sixteen (Experiment 2, 21 days feeding) 21-days-old weaned pigs were allotted to four dietary treatments including control, 0.6% organic acids (OA), 0.1% nucleotides (NA) and 0.6% OA plus 0.1% NA for determining the dietary effects. In Experiment 1, OA enhanced peripheral blood mononuclear cells proliferation on day 28 and 46. The plasma immunoglobulin (Ig) A level was elevated by OA (p < 0.06) and NA (p < 0.07), respectively. In Experiment 2, NA increased plasma IgM level, and had an interactive effect with OA on ileal Peyer's patches and mesenteric lymph node lymphocyte proliferation, bile and plasma IgA levels, and jejunal crypt depth. NA elevated gastric pepsin and jejunal alkaline phosphatase activities, however, decreased ileal aminopeptidase N, sucrase or maltase activity. These results suggest that OA and NA have synergistically enhanced the gut-associated lymphocyte responses and NA modulates the digestive tract development of weaned pigs.  相似文献

Over a period of four weeks 88 piglets of an average weaning weight of 9.5 kg received rations with 2.1, 3.1 and 5.5% crude fibre in the original substance in the form of wheat bran. Between the 42nd and 49th day of life a digestibility investigation was carried out by means of Cr2O3, and on the 42nd and the 63rd day of life the organic acids in the complete gastro-intestinal tract could be ascertained, the causes of which are to be found in the lack of easily soluble carbohydrates (increased passage rate, bran quota). Due to crude fibre, the apparent digestibility of all nutrients decreased, which resulted in a lower live weight on the 63rd day of life. The effect of a bran diet in the alimentary prophylaxis of coli enterotoxaemia is thus furthermore substantiated.  相似文献

The objective of this study was to obtain knowledge about the postnatal development of microflora and the production of short-chain fatty acids in 24 piglets suckled by sows and 26 piglets fed on milk replacement. On day 14 piglets which had received no colostrum had higher counts of Enterobacteriaceae (p < 0.001) and coliform bacteria (p <0.001) in the jejunum contents than piglets suckled by their mother sow. Depending on age, concentrations of both lactic and acetic acid were higher in the contents of the small intestine of piglets suckled by sows compared to milk replacer-fed piglets. Replacement of maternal milk by artificial feeding adversely affected the postnatal development of the piglets. This resulted in higher morbidity and mortality in those piglets.  相似文献

Four growth experiments were conducted to assess the effects of organic acid supplementation on performance of starter and finisher pigs. Three 4-wk starter experiments utilized 392 pigs fed simple corn-soybean meal diets. A fourth experiment employed 135 finisher pigs in a 6-wk study. Each of the starter experiments was initiated immediately after weaning; piglets were 30 +/- 3 d of age. In Exp. 1, weanling pigs fed a 19% crude protein, simple corn-soybean meal diet were compared with pigs fed similar diets supplemented with 2% propionic, fumaric, or citric acid. Addition of each acid improved (P less than .07) efficiency of gain, while propionate depressed (P less than .05) feed intake. Additions of 1, 2, 3 or 4% fumarate were made in Exp. 2, resulting in linear daily gain and feed efficiency improvements (P less than .05). In Exp. 3, a possible protein-sparing effect of fumaric acid was investigated. Increasing protein levels from 16 to 20% improved daily gain (P less than .01) and feed efficiency (P less than .0001); fumarate supplementation (2%) increased (P less than .01) gain:feed. However, there was no protein X fumaric acid interaction. In Exp. 4, no treatment effects were noted with performance of finisher pigs fed a 14% crude protein, corn-soybean meal diet was compared with that of pigs fed similar diets supplemented with 1.5 or 3% fumaric acid.  相似文献

当前,抗生素的耐药性及内源感染等问题使人们将更多注意力集中在寻找残留少、污染小的饲料添加剂,益生素作为其中之一,其生理功能及作用机理成为世界各国相关行业的研究热点.益生素又称活菌制剂,是对动物有益的微生物制剂.乳酸菌作为其中一种,可调节动物消化道微生物区系平衡、改变pH、提高消化酶活性、抑制肠道有害微生物生长,对宿主的营养、免疫应答、生物拮抗及生长等方面均产生有利影响.本试验通过在饲料中以不同方式添加乳酸菌,研究其对断奶仔猪消化道的影响,从而对乳酸菌类微生态剂的作用机理进行探讨.  相似文献

选择6窝(8~10头仔猪/窝)健康的新生(杜长大)仔猪,随机分为对照组和试验组,每组3个重复,7 日龄(7 d)开始对照组辅喂常规开食料,试验组用果寡糖(FOS)代替1%的对照组开食料(按干物质折算),23 日龄(23 d)(断奶)时结束试验,试验开始和结束时每个重复选取1头仔猪屠宰,采集胰脏、胃肠道各部位组织和食糜样品,研究FOS对断奶前仔猪胃肠道组织形态、消化酶、有机酸和乳酸杆菌菌群的影响。结果表明,FOS组仔猪小肠绒毛高度、绒毛高度与隐窝深度之比均高于对照组 (P<0.05);FOS显著提高了仔猪胰腺和十二指肠中淀粉酶活性(P<0.05),蛋白酶和脂肪酶虽有增加但差异不显著;FOS显著提高了仔猪胃肠道内容物中挥发性脂肪酸(VFAs)浓度(P<0.05),降低了胃中乳酸浓度(P<0.05),显著提高了胃肠道乳酸杆菌菌群的相似性和多样性(P<0.05),增加了乳酸杆菌数量(P>0.05)。提示,FOS能够促进断奶前仔猪小肠形态的发育,减缓固体饲料对其损伤,一定程度上增加消化酶活性,提高胃肠道中总VFAs浓度,促进乳酸杆菌的增殖,这可能有利于仔猪平稳度过断奶期。  相似文献

豆粕中含有的大豆球蛋白和beta -conglycinin等抗原 ,可导致断奶仔猪肠粘膜细胞发生过敏反应 ,进而降低其生产性能 (谯仕彦等 ,1 995,1 996) ,因此人们试图用其他原料替代或降低日粮中的豆粕用量。研究表明 ,日粮中添加乳清粉和血浆蛋白粉能够提高断奶仔猪日采食量和日增重 (管武太 ,1 994) ,但昂贵的价格限制了其广泛的应用。最近试验表明 ,用DPS(肠膜蛋白粉 ,其中DPS30 、DPS50 的粗蛋白质含量分别为 30 %、50 % )全部或部分替代乳清粉或血浆蛋白粉 ,能够在降低饲料成本的同时 ,保持甚至提高断奶仔猪的生产性能。…  相似文献

试验目的在于研究枯草芽孢杆菌(Bacillus subtilis)Z-27制剂对断奶仔猪肠道消化酶活力、常规营养成分、生长性能的影响,为该菌剂的益生机理的研究提供参考。将供试仔猪分为试验组和对照组,试验组饲喂添加0.1%Z-27菌剂的T2饲料,对照组饲喂T2饲料。采用GB/T 23527—2009、GB/T8275—2009等方法测定仔猪粪便中蛋白酶、α-淀粉酶等消化酶活力;利用GB/T 6435—2006、GB/T6432—94等方法测定粪便中水分、粗蛋白质等常规养分的含量;记录采食量并称取始重和末重。试验表明,与对照组相比,试验组仔猪的粪便中蛋白酶、α-淀粉酶、纤维素酶的平均活力和脂肪酶水解液酸价分别提高了62.99%、34.56%、133.10%和66.57%;粪便中残留的粗蛋白质、淀粉、粗脂肪和粗纤维等有机成分含量分别下降了30.51%、52.13%、18.44%和26.73%,而无机成分的含量基本无变化;平均日增重提高了9.38%,料重比降低了4.94%。研究表明,枯草芽孢杆菌Z-27制剂具有提高仔猪肠道消化酶活力、提高饲料转化率、改善仔猪生长性能的作用。  相似文献

The effect of different organic acids in diets of entire male pigs on the concentration of skatole in colon, plasma, and adipose tissue and on the composition of the microbiota in the gastrointestinal tract was evaluated. Entire male pigs (n = 60) of sows inseminated with boars disposition for high skatole levels (31.7 and 113.2 kg initial and final body weight, respectively) were fed either control, 1.0% formic acid, 0.85 % benzoic acid, 0.85% sorbic acid, 1.2% fat coated Ca-butyrate, or 1.5% fat and inulin coated Ca-butyrate diets. All levels of organic acids corresponded to 0.85% of pure acid. Digesta samples from colon descendens were analyzed for skatole, indole, and organic acids. Digesta samples for microbiological examinations were taken from proximal jejunum, colon descendens, and rectum. There were no differences in levels of skatole, indole, or organic acid levels in colon descendens among pigs fed organic acid supplemented diets and control diet. Plasma skatole levels were significantly reduced in pigs fed diets containing formic acid or benzoic acid compared with the control, but supplementing diets with organic acids did not affect skatole levels in adipose tissue. Pigs fed organic acids had significantly lower levels of coliforms, enterococci, and lactic acid producing bacteria (LAB) in all sampling sites of the gastro-intestinal tract. Pigs fed 1.5% fat and inulin coated Ca-butyrate had less reduction in the number of coliforms and LAB in the small intestine compared with pigs fed formic, benzoic and sorbic acid. Formic acid had a stronger antibacterial effect on coliforms than benzoic or sorbic acids in the small intestine. Pigs fed diets containing formic acid, benzoic acid, or sorbic acid had significantly higher average daily gain and better feed conversion ratio (FCR) than the control pigs during the grower phase, and tended to improve FCR during the overall period. The inclusion of fat coated Ca-butyrate or fat and inulin coated Ca-butyrate had no effect on growth performance of the pigs. In conclusion, supplementing diets with different organic acids reduced number of coliforms, enterococci, and LAB in the gastrointestinal tract, but did not affect skatole levels in colon or adipose tissue of entire male pigs.  相似文献

Two experiments were conducted to study the effects of extrusion of Chinese storage brown rice and of exogenous enzymes supplementation to diets containing Chinese storage brown rice on the carbohydrase activity in digestive tract of piglets. In Experiment 1, 96 weaned piglets [initially 6.95 ± 0.05 kg body weight (BW)] were used in a 2 × 2 factorial design, the animals were fed the diets containing extruded Chinese storage brown rice or non‐treated Chinese storage brown rice and supplemented with or without exogenous enzymes. Each treatment had six replicate pens and four piglets in each pen. The results demonstrated that extrusion significantly increased (p < 0.05) the activity of duodenal maltase after 14 days of treatment and glucoamylase after 28 days of treatment, jejunal lactase, maltase, isomaltase, sucrase and α‐amylase after 28 days of treatment, and jejunal α‐amylase after 14 days of treatment; enzyme supplementation positively influenced (p < 0.05) the activity of pancreatic α‐amylase after 14 and 28 days of treatment, pancreatic glucoamylase after 28 days of treatment and ileal trehalase after 14 days of treatment. Similarly, interaction between extrusion and enzyme addition existed after 14 days of treatment on the activity of pancreatic α‐amylase and duodenal maltase and on the activity of duodenal glucoamylase and isomaltase, jejunal α‐amylase, lactase, maltase, isomaltase and jejunal α‐amylase after 28 days of treatment. In Experiment 2, six piglets (initially 21 ± 1.85 kg BW) fitted with ileal ‘T’‐cannulas in a 6 × 6 Latin Square Design were used to study the effects of extrusion and addition of exogenous enzymes on ileal carbohydrase activity and nutrients digestibility. The results showed that exogenous enzymes significantly (p < 0.05) increased ileal α‐amylase, glucoamylase and trehalase activity. The interaction between extrusion and enzyme supplementation had positive effect (p < 0.05) on the ileal lactase, cellobiase and sucrase activity.  相似文献

Background: The stomach is an underestimated key interface between the ingesta and the digestive system, affecting the digestion and playing an important role in several endocrine functions. The quality of starter microbiota and the early life feeding of medium chain triglycerides may affect porcine gastric maturation. Two trials(T1, T2) were carried out on 12 and 24 cesarean-delivered piglets(birth, d0), divided over two microbiota treatments, but slaughtered and sampled at two or three weeks of age, respectively. All piglets were fed orally: sow serum(T1) or pasteurized sow colostrum(T2) on d0; simple starter microbiota(Lactobacillus amylovorus, Clostridium glycolicum and Parabacteroides spp.)(d1-d3); complex microbiota inoculum(sow diluted feces, CA) or a placebo(simple association, SA)(d3-d4) and milk replacer ad libitum(d0-d4). The The T1 piglets and half of the T2 piglets were then fed a moist diet(CTRL); the remaining half of the T2 piglets were fed the CTRL diet fortified with medium chain triglycerides and 7% coconut oil(MCT). Total m RNA from the oxyntic mucosa was analyzed using Affymetrix?Porcine Gene array strips. Exploratory functional analysis of the resulting values was carried out using Gene Set Enrichment Analysis.Results: Complex microbiota upregulated 11 gene sets in piglets of each age group vs. SA. Of these sets, 6 were upregulated at both ages, including the set of gene markers of oxyntic mucosa. In comparison with the piglets receiving SA, the CA enriched the genes in the sets related to interferon response when the CTRL diet was given while the same sets were impoverished by CA with the MCT diet.Conclusions: Early colonization with a complex starter microbiota promoted the functional maturation of the oxyntic mucosa in an age-dependent manner. The dietary fatty acid source may have affected the recruitment and the maturation of the immune cells, particularly when the piglets were early associated with a simplified starter microbiota.  相似文献

  1. Three experiments with a 2 × 2 × 2 factorial arrangement were conducted to evaluate maize-based diets for broilers containing different lipid sources [soybean oil (S) or beef tallow (T)] supplemented with or without lysophospholipids and organic acids on nutrient balance (Experiment I, evaluation period of 10–14 d), on liver concentration of fat-soluble vitamins, on jejunal microbiota (Experiment II, sampling at d 14) and on performance (Experiment III, accumulated periods of 1–14, 1–21 and 1–42 d).

  2. A total of 1344 male chicks were used. In each experiment, the birds were allotted in a completely randomised design with 8 replications. The lysophospholipids were mainly composed of lysolecithins and the organic acids blend was constituted by lactic (40%), acetic (7%) and butyric acids (1%).

  3. An interaction between lipid sources and lysophospholipids was observed on faecal apparent digestibility of lipid (ADL), which improved with lysophospholipids addition in T diets. Broilers fed on S had higher ADL and faecal apparent digestibility of nitrogen-corrected gross energy (ADGEN).

  4. It was not possible to demonstrate a significant treatment effect on the liver concentration of vitamins A and E, even with the differences in fatty acid profile between S and T.

  5. Enterobacteria values were below the detection threshold. Lysophospholipid supplementation reduced gram-positive cocci in T-fed birds. S diets promoted lower total anaerobe counts compared with T diets, independent of additives.

  6. S diets increased BW gain and feed:gain ratio in all evaluation periods. Lysophospholipids and organic acids improved feed:gain ratio at 1–21 d in T diets. Furthermore, main effects were observed for lysophospholipids and organic acids at 1–42 d, which increased BW gain and improved feed:gain ratio, respectively.

This study examined the impacts of different fiber sources on growth, immune status and gut health in weaned piglets fed antibiotic-free diets. Sixty piglets (BW = 8.18 ± 1.35 kg) were assigned to 3 dietary treatments based on BW and gender in a randomized complete block design (5 replicates/treatment and 4 piglets [2 barrows and 2 gilts]/replicate): (1) an antibiotic-free diet (control, CON); (2) CON + 6% wheat bran (WB); (3) CON + 4% sugar beet pulp (SBP). Dietary WB supplementation tended to increase ADG compared with CON from d 1 to 14 (P = 0.051) and from d 1 to 28 (P = 0.099). Supplementation of WB increased (P < 0.05) G:F compared with CON and SBP from d 1 to 14 and from d 1 to 28. Compared with CON, the addition of WB reduced (P < 0.05) diarrhea rate from d 1 to 14 and tended (P = 0.054) to reduce diarrhea rate from d 1 to 28. The addition of WB decreased (P < 0.05) serum diamine oxidase activity on d 14, and up-regulated (P < 0.05) ileal mRNA levels of occludin on d 28 when compared with CON. Piglets fed WB showed decreased (P < 0.05) serum interleukin-6 levels compared to those fed SBP and decreased (P < 0.05) ileal interleukin-8 levels compared to those fed CON and SBP on d 28. Supplementation of WB increased (P < 0.05) serum levels of immunoglobulin A (IgA), IgG and IgM compared with SBP on d 14, and increased (P < 0.05) the levels of serum IgA and ileal sIgA compared with CON and SBP on d 28. Piglets fed WB showed an enhanced (P < 0.05) α-diversity of cecal microbiota than those fed SBP, while piglets fed SBP showed reduced (P < 0.05) α-diversity of cecal microbiota than those fed CON. Compared with CON, the addition of WB elevated (P < 0.05) the abundance of Lachnospira and cecal butyric acid level. Piglets fed WB also showed increased (P < 0.05) abundances of Lachnospira and unclassified_f_Lachnospiraceae compared with those fed SBP. Collectively, the supplementation of WB to antibiotic-free diets improved performance, immune responses, gut barrier function and microbiota compared with the CON and SBP fed piglets. Therefore, supplementing weaned piglets with WB was more effective than SBP.  相似文献

The aim of the study was to evaluate the effects of piglet age and dietary fibre source on the development of visceral organs and the gastrointestinal tract (GIT), and on growth performance and total tract apparent digestibility (TTAD) in local [pure‐breed Mong cai (MC)] and exotic [Landrace × Yorkshire (LY)] piglets. The experimental diets contained different fibre sources: C (basal diet), RB (basal diet + rice bran), SPVM (basal diet + sweet potato vine meal) and CReM (basal diet + cassava residue meal). The neutral detergent fibre (NDF) content in diet C and the fibrous diets was 8.8% and 17.1%–17.7% respectively (dry matter basis). Collection of faecal samples to determine TTAD was carried out for five consecutive days before the experiment was finished (63 days). The piglets were killed at the age of 10 days (before being given the same solid feed), 30 days (weaning, 20 days after solid feed introduced) and 63 days (33 days after being given the different fibrous diets) when the length of intestinal segments, weight of organs (liver, heart, kidneys) and empty weight of the GIT (stomach, small intestine, caecum and colon + rectum) were measured. As the age of animals increased, the relative weight of organs and the length of intestines (expressed on a mass‐specific basis) decreased (p < 0.05), and the weight of GIT increased (p < 0.001). The piglets fed fibrous diets had heavier GIT than those fed diet C with the highest values in CReM (p < 0.05). The colon + rectum length was not significantly different among C, RB and SPVM, but was shorter than in CReM (p < 0.05). Coefficient of total tract apparent digestibility (CTTAD) of nutrients in the fibrous diets was lower than in C (p < 0.01). Average daily gain (ADG) and feed conversion ratio (FCR) in C, RB and CReM were not different and were better than in SPVM (p < 0.01). There were no significant differences in the weights of organs between the two breeds at day 10, 30 and 63 (p > 0.05). The weight and length of GIT were not significantly different between the two breeds at day 10 and day 30, but were greater for MC at day 63. The caecum and colon + rectum at 10 and 30 days were longer in MC than in LY (p < 0.001). The relative development of GIT post‐weaning was higher than pre‐weaning, the difference being most apparent in MC. As a result at 63 days, MC had heavier visceral organs and GIT, and longer intestines on fibrous diets than LY (p < 0.05). The MC at 63 days had higher CTTAD of organic matter, gross energy, crude fibre and NDF (p < 0.001) and ether extract and crude protein (p < 0.05), but lower ADG and poorer FCR than LY (p < 0.001). It can be concluded that the GIT of the MC piglets developed more rapidly than LY when they were introduced to solid feed, and that the difference was more marked on the fibrous diets and after weaning, which resulted in higher total tract digestibility of nutrients in MC compared with LY. Cassava residue meal was better digested than RB and SPVM, and supported higher live weight gains.  相似文献

试验选用32头断奶仔猪,初始体重为6.8kg,共进行14d,其中适应期9d,正式收粪尿期为5d。试验全面研究了不同蛋白水平补充合成氨基酸对仔猪氮排泄的影响。研究发现,降低蛋白水平并按照理想蛋白模式补充合成氨基酸,显著降低了粪尿排放量(P=0.01),线性降低了氮排泄(P<0.001),同时日氮沉积绝对量也呈现线性下降(P<0.001);平均每降低一个百分点的仔猪日粮蛋白水平,可减少8.4%的氮排泄量。  相似文献

In an experiment with wethers we investigated the effect of complete pelleted feed ration on the concentration of volatile fatty acids in the rumen and intestinal tract. The animals consumed daily 1,300 g of dry matter of a diet which contained 41.81% of meadow hay, 25.28% of barley, 15.37% of sawdust, 14.98% of molasses, 1.32% of urea and 1.24% of a vitamin-mineral supplement for a period of six months. The pelleted diet increased the total amount of volatile fatty acids, the content of propionic acid and especially the content of butyric acid. There appeared a decrease in the ratio of acetate: propionate. On the basis of the greater energy efficiency of the volatile fatty acid production the animals fed pelleted feed showed a better energy balance. A higher VFA concentration was determined also in the large intestine and the cecum, which proves the importance of fermentation porcesses in these organs.  相似文献

选用360头21日龄断奶仔猪,按饲喂试验日粮的制粒工艺、原料预处理不同,分成4个处理组,研究断奶仔猪采食二次制粒颗粒饲料对主要消化器官的影响。处理1组饲粮普通一次制粒并使用未膨化玉米及豆粕;处理2组饲粮一次制粒、使用膨化玉米及豆粕;处理3组采用二次制粒工艺、使用未膨化玉米及豆粕;处理4组二次制粒、使用膨化玉米及豆粕。主要消化器官统计结果(相对指标)显示:处理4组仔猪小肠重显著大于处理1和3组(P<0.05);小肠长度和空肠黏膜重指标,处理4组显著大于其他3个处理组。小肠形态测定结果显示:处理4组仔猪空肠绒毛高度显著大于其他3个处理组;空肠肠壁厚度指标,处理4组仔猪显著大于处理1组,而处理2组和3组之间无显著差异(P>0.05)。以上结果表明,在选择膨化玉米与膨化豆粕原料的基础上,采用二次制粒工艺,先将鱼粉与膨化玉米、膨化豆粕进行第一次高温制粒所生产的饲料,饲喂断奶仔猪有效促进小肠器官发育,从而改善生长性能。  相似文献
