In severe experimental hemorrhagic anemia in hens, the injection of beta-pyracin and Lactobacillus casei factor, alone and in combination, was found to hasten the regeneration of hemoglobin. When these factors were administered together, however, the rise in hemoglobin was much more rapid and the level reached was higher than in the lots administered the factors alone. The hemoglobin levels in the control lots rose above the "pre-bleeding" values and then began an almost immediate decline to approximately the original level. In the lots receiving beta-pyracin and Lactobacillus casei factor, alone or in combination, the hemoglobin levels also rose above the "pre-bleeding" values but were maintained for some time after injections were discontinued before declining to the original values. 相似文献

Thalidomide was administered to 44 female rhesus monkeys immediately after they had mated. There were no live births from these animals, whereas there were 11 live births in 57 untreated monkeys. The results are statistically significant. The hypothesis is advanced that thalidomide killed the embryo prior to implantation. 相似文献

The effect of GTPase activating protein upon ras is inhibited by mitogenically responsive lipids 总被引:28,自引:0,他引:28
Bacterially synthesized c-Ha-ras protein (Ras) was incubated with guanosine triphosphatase (GTPase) activating (GA) protein in the presence of various phospholipids. The stimulation of Ras GTPase activity by GA protein was inhibited in some cases. Among the lipids most active in blocking GA protein activity were lipids that show altered metabolism during mitogenic stimulation. These included phosphatidic acid (containing arachidonic acid), phosphatidylinositol phosphates, and arachidonic acid. Other lipids, including phosphatidic acid with long, saturated side chains, diacylglycerols, and many other common phospholipids, were unable to alter GA protein activity. The interaction of lipids with GA protein might be important in the regulation of Ras activity during mitogenic stimulation. 相似文献

为了研究溴氰虫酰胺对红火蚁工蚁的致死作用及活动能力的影响,采用水试管法测定溴氰虫酰胺对红火蚁工蚁的毒杀活性和行为影响。结果表明,1mg/L和5mg/L溴氰虫酰胺处理12h后,工蚁校正死亡率分别为34.74%和62.82%,高于0mg/L对照(16.67%)。0mg/L(对照)、1mg/L和5mg/L处理12h后,工蚁校正攀附率分别为80.00%、68.05%和30.43%,校正抓附率分别为80.00%、58.45%和30.38%,校正行走率分别为91.67%、70.97%和0,行走速率分别为2.07、1.07cm/s和0,校正聚集率分别为92.86%、86.35%和39.40%。溴氰虫酰胺对红火蚁工蚁具有较好的毒杀活性,可显著抑制工蚁的行为活动能力,在红火蚁防控中具有广阔的应用前景。 相似文献

采用生态浮床技术对污染水体净化效果进行了研究.结果表明,鸢尾、旱伞草、莼菜、红掌对水体的氮、磷均有良好的去除效果,对总氮的去除能力从大到小依次为红掌、旱伞草、鸢尾、莼菜,对总磷的去除能力从大到小依次为鸢尾、旱伞草、红掌、莼菜.进一步对不同植物搭配组合进行试验,发现对水体TN去除效果最好的组合是旱伞草+鸢尾,去除率为58.24%,对TP去除最好的组合是旱伞草+红掌,去除率为62.08%. 相似文献

The structural gene for N-myristoyl transferase (NMT1) has been cloned from the budding yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The gene encodes a polypeptide of 455 amino acids (Mr = 52,837) that has no identifiable significant primary sequence homology with any protein in currently available databases. Overexpression of NMT activity was achieved by means of the yeast episomal plasmid YEp24 without obvious effects on growth kinetics, cell morphology, or acylprotein metabolic labeling patterns. Insertional mutagenesis of the NMT1 locus on yeast chromosome XII caused recessive lethality, indicating that this protein acyltransferase activity is necessary for vegetative cell growth. 相似文献

对间伐与未间伐人工林红松(Pinus koraisensis)木材材质进行系统测定、统计分析,结果表明:间伐对木材材质有很大的影响,间伐林的管胞长度、管胞直径、纤丝角、生长速率、生长轮宽度、顺纹抗压和抗拉强度、抗劈力和冲击韧性大于未间伐林;间伐林木材晚材率、生长轮密度、壁厚、壁腔比、抗弯强度和局部抗压强度小于未间伐林。其中管胞直径、生长轮宽度、壁厚、壁腔比、抗变强度、顺纹抗压和抗拉强度、横纹局部抗压强度的差异达到显著水平,表明间伐能显著地提高木材力学性能。采用综合坐标法,对间伐与未间伐人工林红松木材材质进行评定,其材质的综合性能和纸浆材性能未间伐林好于间伐林,建筑材料性能间伐林好于未间伐林。 相似文献
