This study evaluated the effects of AQUI‐S®20E (10% eugenol) sedation on the survival and behaviour of yellow perch Perca flavescens (Mitchill) and Nile tilapia Oreochromis niloticus L. held in high loading densities. Fish were held in 0–300 mg L?1 AQUI‐S®20E (0–30 mg L?1 eugenol) for up to 10 h in static tanks. At 17°C, yellow perch held in 200 and 300 mg L?1 AQUI‐S®20E were lightly sedated for up to 7 h. Yellow perch at 200 and 300 mg L?1 AQUI‐S®20E also had >95% mean survival 7‐days post exposure using loading densities up to 360 g L?1. Nile tilapia were only sedated for ≤3 h in concentrations up to 300 mg L?1 at 22°C and had >90% mean survival at loading densities ≤480 g L?1. Ammonia in tanks increased significantly as loading density increased, but treatment with AQUI–S®20E did not reduce ammonia accumulation. Results suggest that AQUI–S®20E was effective to sedate yellow perch and Nile tilapia at high loading densities, but sedation varied with loading density and species.  相似文献

集约化养殖条件下鱼类营养代谢性疾病频发,如何防治是目前亟待解决的问题。寻找导致营养代谢性疾病的关键基因,并研究其功能及作用机制是目前研究的热点。高通量测序技术为研究者提供了海量的基因信息,如何有效的挖掘、分析和存储数据并用于疾病的防治显得尤为重要。目前,鱼类营养代谢性疾病相关基因数据库的开发和利用仍处于研究初期。为了合理高效地利用现有的组学数据信息,本研究系统地调研了鱼类代谢性疾病相关数据库,明晰了NCBI数据库中265种鱼类的基因组大小和64种鱼类的染色体数目,获取了Ensembl数据库中17个目58种鱼类的基因组数据,收集了KEGG数据库中41种鱼类的糖类、脂类和蛋白质代谢相关基因。本文可为鱼类营养代谢性疾病基因数据库的研发提供数据支撑,并为鱼类营养代谢性疾病的治疗和预防奠定坚实的基础。  相似文献

为研究食源色氨酸添加量对不同密度下刺参生长和代谢酶活性的影响,在水温(17±0. 5)℃下将初始体质量(湿重)为(3. 5±0. 1) g的刺参(Apostichopus japonicus Selenka)饲养在40 L(53 cm×28 cm×34 cm)的玻璃水族箱中,密度分别为4(L组)、8(ML组)、16(MH组)和32(H组)头/40 L,分别投喂添加0%、1%、3%和5%色氨酸的饲料,饲养75 d,每个处理组设4个重复。试验测定了刺参体质量变化和代谢酶活性,结果显示:随着养殖密度增加,刺参生物量增加,刺参增重率下降。最大生物量为196. 1 g(3%色氨酸,H组),最低增重率为35. 9%(5%色氨酸,H组);与对照组相比,饲料中添加3%色氨酸处理组刺参生长更快;在各养殖密度下,添加3%色氨酸处理组的谷丙转氨酶(ALT)、谷草转氨酶(AST)、乳酸脱氢酶(MDH)和苹果酸脱氢酶(LDH)酶活力低于其他处理组。高密度(H组)下,添加3%色氨酸处理组的ALT、AST、MDH和LDH活力分别为5. 56 U/g prot、1. 85 U/g prot、0. 17 U/mg prot、64 U/g prot,低于对照组。研究表明,添加1%~3%食源色氨酸可以缓解高密度养殖对刺参的胁迫,提高刺参生长率。  相似文献

Low temperature has been implicated in inducing outbreaks of winter syndrome or winter disease in farmed gilthead sea bream (Sparus aurata). The responses of gilthead sea bream to reduced temperature followed by maintenance at low temperaturewere studied. In a first experiment, oxygen consumptionwas measured when water temperature was reduced from 18°C to 8 °C at either a rate of 1 °C· day-1 or as two sharp drops (from 18 °C to 12 °C, and from 12 °C to 8 °C). In a second experiment, the water temperature was reduced from 16 °C to 8 °C or 12 °C and then maintained for 20 days to study the fish acclimation to these temperatures. In both experiments, fish stopped feeding below 13 °C and did not resume feeding when maintained at low temperatures. The decrease in metabolic activity, expressed by the oxygen consumption rate, was directly related to the fall in water temperature: the Q10(18 °C-8 °C) values were between 2.2–2.5, independently of the descend rate in water temperature. However, we observed a more reduced metabolic rate when the water temperature was below 12 °C. Fish maintained at low temperatures showed only a partial recovery in oxygen consumption (15% at 8 °C and 20% at 12 °C) after 20 days. A higher metabolic rate together with a fasting-temperature condition meant that maintenance at 12 °C was more aggressive than at 8 °C, as revealed by the condition factor and energy needs. Data suggest that 12 .C could be a threshold temperature for the metabolic activity of gilthead sea bream. The relationship between low temperatures and their possible implication in the appearance of winter disease in gilthead sea bream is also discussed.  相似文献

在2000年秋季和2001年春季东海120°~126.75°N、25.75°~31°E范围内的两次大面积调查基础上,以占渔获量90%的鱼类为研究对象,分析东海春、秋两季2个鱼类群落的功能群。结果表明,东海高营养层次鱼类群落包括7个功能群,即鱼食性鱼类、虾/鱼食性鱼类、虾食性鱼类、虾蟹食性鱼类、底栖动物食性鱼类、浮游动物食性鱼类和广食性鱼类。其中东海近海春季鱼类种群由浮游动物食性鱼类、底栖动物食性鱼类、鱼食性鱼类和虾食性鱼类4个功能群组成,秋季鱼类种群由虾/鱼食性鱼类、虾食性鱼类、广食性鱼类、虾蟹食性鱼类、鱼食性鱼类和浮游动物食性鱼类6个功能群组成;东海外海春季鱼类种群由鱼食性鱼类、底栖动物食性鱼类、浮游动物食性鱼类和虾食性鱼类4个功能群组成,秋季鱼类种群由浮游动物食性鱼类、虾/鱼食性鱼类、鱼食性鱼类、虾食性鱼类和底栖动物食性鱼类5个功能群组成。从生物量组成上分析,在各鱼类群落中发挥主要作用的功能群不同,春季东海鱼类群落以浮游动物食性鱼类功能群为主,而秋季以鱼食性鱼类功能群为主。其中带鱼、白姑鱼、六丝矛尾■虎鱼、多棘腔吻鳕、龙头鱼、小黄鱼、细条天竺鱼、发光鲷、、花斑蛇鲻、短鳍红娘鱼、竹荚鱼、条尾绯鲤、黄鳍马面、黄条等15种鱼为各功能群的主要种类。群落种类组成的差异,同种类体长分布的差异,以及饵料基础的时空变化是导致东海各鱼类群落功能群组成差异的主要原因。  相似文献

A 1H NMR‐based metabolomics approach was to explore the effect of ultrafiltered fish protein hydrolysate (UF) levels on the liver and muscle metabolic profile of juvenile turbot (Scophthalmus maximus L.). Fish protein hydrolysate (FPH) was produced from by‐products by enzymatic treatment, and UF was obtained by diluting FPH followed filtration. Fish were fed diets containing fish meal protein, which was, respectively, replaced by UF protein 0, 50, 100, 150 and 200 g kg?1 of dietary total protein (UF‐0, UF‐5, UF‐10, UF‐15 and UF‐20) for 68 days. OPLS‐DA of liver and muscle showed that high levels of UF in diets may lead to corresponding tissue metabolites changes. In liver tissue, changing metabolites included dimethylamine, N,N‐dimethylglycine, valine, isoleucine, leucine, arginine and alanine and were mainly involved in choline metabolism and amino acid metabolism. For muscle tissue, changing metabolites included lactate, alanine, proline, fumarate, tyrosine, histidine, cystathionine and taurine. And the metabolites were mainly involved in glycolysis and gluconeogenesis, proline metabolism and taurine metabolism. 1H NMR‐based metabolomics is a useful approach to investigate different levels of UF on metabolic profile in liver and muscle tissues combined with the growth.  相似文献

硝化细菌对淡水水族箱水质及养殖观赏鱼影响的初步研究   总被引:5,自引:0,他引:5  
本试验设立硝化细菌、水生观赏植物对照组与空白对照组进行对比试验。结果表明硝化细菌对降低淡水水族箱中COD、NH4^ -N、NO^2 -N效果显。有利于提高蓝毛足鲈等的相对生长率,对孔雀鱼、七彩神仙鱼增色有益。实验中还发现硝化细菌有明显预防细菌性肠炎病发生的作用。硝化细菌在淡水水族箱中固着种群稳定需要25—28天,在施用硝化细菌3—4周后水体COD、NH4^ -N、NO^2 -N达到稳定水平。  相似文献

2012年10-11月三峡水库高水位期以及2013年5-6月三峡水库低水位期调查了汉丰湖的鱼类资源,研究三峡水库高、低水位下汉丰湖鱼类种类组成、优势种类、生物多样性以及群落相似性,并对不同水位下汉丰湖鱼类群落结构的扰动特征和增殖放流情况进行了辨识和探讨。共采集到鱼类17 553尾,42种,隶属于4目7科31属。其中三峡水库低水位时采集到鱼类33种,高水位时采集到鱼类34种。汉丰湖优势种类在三峡水库低水位时为银鮈Squalidus argentatus、似鳊Pseudobrama simoni、歺又鱼Hemiculter leucisculus、蒙古鲌Culter mongolicus mongolicus和鲤Cyprinus(Cyprinus)carpio;在三峡水库高水位时为似鳊、鲤、鲫Carassius auratus、张氏歺又鱼Hemiculter tchangi和鲇Silurus asotus。汉丰湖鱼类Shannon-wiener多样性指数(H’)、Simpson优势度指数(D)、Pielous均匀度指数(E)和Margalef种类丰富度指数(R)在三峡水库低水位时分别为1.63、0.67、0.46和3.52;在三峡水库高水位时分别为2.15、0.80、0.61和4.34。三峡水库低、高水位时汉丰湖鱼类群落结构的Bray-Curtis相似性仅为26.52%,喜缓、静水生境的银鮈、张氏歺又鱼、鲤、歺又鱼、鲫、鲇、似鳊和蒙古鲌是群落结构差异的主要种类,累积差异贡献率为90.67%。汉丰湖鱼类群落在高水位时受到中等程度的干扰,而在低水位时受到严重干扰。建议每年均放流鲢、鳙、草鱼并进一步加大放流规模。  相似文献

To evaluate environmental impacts of yellowtail culture and to examine the efficiency of the sea cucumber Apostichopus japonicus in reduction of waste loading, surface sediments were sampled and A. japonicus were cultured at a yellowtail farm in Owase Bay, Japan. Waste feed‐ and faeces‐derived organic matter (WOM, FOM) in sedimentary organic matter (SOM) was estimated based on the δ13C and δ15N of the fish feed (?21.7‰, 9.2‰), yellowtail faeces (?20.6‰, 6.2‰) and SOM reference (?24.4‰, 4.4‰). Small WOM (0–22% in SOM) but substantial FOM (28–61%) loadings in the fish farm area and high sulphide concentrations in the sediments (1.0 mg g?1) suggest that reduction in the fish stocks or mitigation of the faeces should be considered. A. japonicus juveniles were cultured in three cages deployed below a pen and growth was assessed after three different periods (62, 107, 181 days). A. japonicus grew well during the first 107 days (daily specific growth rate, 3.7%) and their survivorship was high (80–90%). Growth ceased after 107 days, probably due to fouling on the cages. The δ13C and δ15N of their hypothetical diet (–19.7‰, 5.5‰) were close to the FOM values, suggesting assimilation of FOM.  相似文献

在不同的温度(18℃、20℃、22℃、24℃、26℃)和时间(8h、14h、20h、26h、32h)条件下对南美白对虾苗进行运输。试验结果表明:运输时间和运输水温及两者的交互作用对南美白对虾苗成活率均有显著影响。多重比较结果显示运输时间在20h以内,不同时间梯度对南美白对虾苗的运输成活率的影响无显著差异,成活率均在90℃左右,随着运输时间的延长,虾苗成活率明显降低,且不同时间梯度间差异显著;运输用海水的温度控制在22~24℃时,虾苗具有较高的成活率,随着水温的升高或降低,成活率均明显降低,且不同温度梯度间差异显著。在本试验条件下,不同运输时间和运输水温对南美白对虾苗运输后暂养的成活率和生长无显著影响。  相似文献

Hybrid seabream (Pagrus major♀ × Acanthopagrus schlegelii♂) grow quickly, with retarded gonadal growth and enhanced muscle nutritional composition. This F1 hybrid seabream is a new marine aquaculture fish in China. However, the response of hybrid seabream to transport is severe, which seriously restricts its promotion and development. Water quality and the physiological response of hybrid sea bream were studied at three fish transport densities (5, 10 and 20 g/L) during 8 hr of transport in a light van (60 km hr?1 and 25°C water temperature). We found that total ammonia–nitrogen and nitrite–nitrogen levels in the water of the highest density group increased sharply after 4 and 8 hr of transport. Cumulative survival of the fish in the 10 and 20 g/L groups (86.7% and 75% respectively) was significantly lower than in the 5 g/L group (100%) after 8 hr of transport (< .05). Serum cortisol and lactate levels were significantly higher after transport than pre‐stress levels, whereas the glucose level decreased significantly (< .05). Hepatic triglyceride and glycogen levels and superoxide dismutase and catalase activities were significantly lower in the 20 g/L group than in the 5 g/L group (< .05). The results show that high‐density transport increased ammonia–nitrogen and nitrite–nitrogen levels in the water as well as cortisol secretion and anaerobic metabolism in the F1 hybrid seabream, suggesting that total cholesterol and glycogen may be used to supply the energy demand and increased oxidative stress. These results will help to optimize the transport conditions for cultured hybrid seabream.  相似文献

This study tested two premises. First, that there is a range in water temperature within which to artificially incubate marron eggs and hatchlings, which enables a combination of rapid development, high survival, and the production of large juveniles. Second, that the population density of marron eggs and hatchlings incubated artificially can be increased without altering development time, survival, or juvenile body weight. Marron eggs were collected from 31 gravid females and artificially incubated at four water temperatures (i.e. 16°C, 20°C, 24°C, 28°C), while eggs were collected from eight females and artificially incubated at three population densities (i.e. 0.35, 0.70, 2.80 eggs mL?1). The eggs and hatchlings were assessed for development time and survival as they hatched and developed into juveniles. The juveniles were weighed at the conclusion of the incubation period. As water temperature was increased from 16°C to 28°C, there was an inverse curvilinear relationship between development time and water temperature, the time required for the eggs to hatch and develop into juveniles decreasing from 70.2 to 24.5 days. However, at 16°C and 28°C, the survival of the eggs and hatchlings was reduced (i.e. 83.8% and 87.7% at 20°C and 24°C vs. 70.4% and 57.5% at 16°C and 28°C), while incubation at 28°C resulted in the development of small juveniles (i.e. 29.7, 29.2, and 28.5 mg at 16°C, 20°C, and 24°C vs. 25.1 mg at 28°C). In comparison with water temperature, increasing the population density of the eggs and hatchlings from 0.35 to 2.80 eggs mL?1 did not have a significant effect on development time, survival, or juvenile body weight. The two premises tested in this study were supported, demonstrating that marron eggs and hatchlings can be artificially incubated at high population densities, and are most successfully incubated in water maintained between 20°C and 24°C.  相似文献

Copper sulfate has been widely used to control algae and pathogens in fish culture ponds. However, its toxic effects on fish depend not only on its concentration in water but also on water quality. The susceptibility of the neotropical freshwater fish Prochilodus scrofa to copper was evaluated at two temperatures with low and high water pH. Juvenile fish were acclimated at 20 and 30 °C and exposed to copper (static bioassay system) in water with pH 4.5 and 8.0. The 96 h-LC50 were determined at each temperature and pH, as were the hematological parameters. The 96 h-LC50 for copper (98 and 88 μg Cu L− 1 in water with pH 4.5 and 16 and 14 μg Cu L− 1 in water with pH 8.0 for fish kept at 20 and 30 °C, respectively) was significantly dissimilar in pH 4.5 and 8.0, but no difference was found between 20 and 30 °C in the same water pH. At 20 °C, regardless of the water pH, the hematocrit (Hct) increased while the red blood cells (RBC) and hemoglobin (Hb) concentration decreased compared to control pH 7.0. Copper exposure in water pH 4.5 and 8.0 causes an increase on the Hct, RBC and Hb concentrations in relation to the controls pH 4.5 and 8.0. At 30 °C, the changes on the blood parameters depended on the water pH and, after copper exposure at low and high pH, the blood changes indicated more complex responses. The changes in hematological parameters of the fish, regardless of the pH and water temperature, indicate ionoregulatory or respiratory disturbances that imply an increase in energy consumption to restore homeostasis instead of other physiological functions such as weight gain and growth.  相似文献

Spirulina has been highlighted as a valuable complementary ingredient in aquafeeds due to its high protein and vitamin content, in addition to other nutritional benefits. To evaluate the effect of dietary spirulina inclusion in fish meal sparing (FMS) on juvenile Caspian brown trout as a slow‐growth fish, a complete randomized experimental design was developed with five treatments: 0% (control), 2% FMS (13.2 g/kg spirulina in diet), 4% FMS (26.4 g/kg spirulina in diet), 6% FMS (39.6 g/kg spirulina in diet) and 8% FMS (52.8 g/kg spirulina in diet). Six hundred juveniles (11.0 ± 1.0 g) were assigned to 15 experimental tanks. Although this fish is sensitive to diet composition, fish fed the 6% FMS and 8% FMS diets had a significantly higher weight gain rate (239.51% and 231.27%) and specific growth rate (1.74% bw per day and 1.71% bw per day) compared with those fed the control diet. Furthermore, 6% FMS and 8% FMS treatments had statistically higher protein efficiency (0.76 and 0.78), lipid efficiency (1.89 and 1.94) and statistically lower feed conversion ratio (2.47 and 2.41) compared with other treatments, respectively (p < 0.05). In terms of whole‐body composition, the higher amount of protein and lower content of lipid were observed in fish fed the 8% FMS diets as compared to control. Although no significant differences in ash and moisture content were observed, the highest protein deposition (157.3 g/kg) and the lowest lipid content (77 g/kg) in whole body were reported in fish fed 8% FMS diet. Based on the fillet fatty acid outcome, fish fed the 8% FMS diet had significantly higher saturated fatty acids (SFAs), C20:3n‐6, C18:3n‐3, polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) and total n‐3 fatty acids as compared to those fed the control diet (p < 0.05). Accordingly, increasing dietary spirulina content significantly enhanced the amount of these fatty acids in fish fillet. As regards of whole‐body amino acid profile, arginine and lysine in fish fed 6% FMS and 8% FMS diets were higher and lower than in those fed the control diet, respectively (p < 0.05). Fillet and skin colour parameters, such as luminosity, redness and yellowness, significantly increased with spirulina supplementation with the 8% FMS treatment displaying higher values than the control. In summary, according to our results, 8% FMS (52.8 g/kg spirulina in diet) treatment improved juvenile Caspian brown trout growth, carcass composition and pigmentation.  相似文献

ABSTRACT:     The acute toxicities of boron were examined for Japanese flounder Paralichthys olivaceus and red sea bream Pagrus major in terms of fish size and water temperature. Japanese flounder of 0.1–70.0 g and red sea bream of 0.6–20.3 g were exposed to different concentrations of boron for 96 h at 20°C under semi-static conditions. In both fish species, the median lethal concentration (LC50) for 96 h of boron increased linearly with increasing fish size, ranging from 108 to 252 mg B/L for the flounder, and from 97 to 172 mg B/L for the sea bream. The effect of water temperature on acute toxicity was examined for Japanese flounder of 0.6 and 1.5 g at 10, 15, 20 and 25°C, and for red sea bream of 0.6 and 2.4 g at 12, 15, 20 and 25°C. The toxicity of boron for the flounder increased linearly with increasing water temperature. The 96 h LC50 values ranged from 299 to 108 mg B/L for the 0.6 g flounder and from 350 to 113 mg B/L for the 1.5 g flounder. A similar trend was shown for the 2.4 g red sea bream; however, the relationship for the 0.6 g red sea bream was not significant.  相似文献

The selection of aerators and correct numbers can play an essential role in reducing the cost of production in aquaculture. The new generation aerators, namely spiral leaf, air‐jet, submersible and impeller, used in aquaculture, were assessed for its aeration efficiency and energy cost compared with the commonly used paddle wheel aerator. Of the aerators tested, the impeller had the highest aeration efficiency of 2.098 kg O2/kW hr, followed by paddle wheel with 1.436 kg O2/kW hr at 20‰ salinity. The spiral and air‐jet aerators had maximum aeration efficiency of 1.326 and 1.419 kg O2/kW hr, respectively, at 35‰ salinity. The submersible aerator was not efficient as its maximum efficiency was 0.380 kg O2/kW hr. The water flow by paddle wheel was 3 ft/sec and also provides better coverage than other types of aerators. The efficiency of aerators was high in optimum salinities (20‰ and 35‰) than the low or high saline condition. The average energy cost of shrimp pond aeration per hectare was lowest for impeller, followed by paddle wheel aerator. The study provided economic comparisons of vannamei culture using different aeration systems by keeping a uniform set of economic assumptions. Shrimp farms with impellors can give 14%–25% high returns across salinities, whereas spiral leaf can provide 5% high returns at 35‰ salinity. The combination of the type of aerators and the calculated use based on the salinity of the culture systems can result in energy‐saving and also a reduction in the production cost.  相似文献
