The development of humic substances in the course of four composting processes was monitored quantitatively, recording both relative and absolute contents. Relative data showed contrasting results if the humic substances (HS) were related to the dry matter (d.m.) or to volatile solids (VS). Humic substances were apparently formed because of a concentration effect due to organic matter degradation. If absolute contents were considered, a decrease in the humic substances was observed, above all in the early stages of the process, due, probably, to degradation of the organic material, such as proteins, carbohydrates and lipids, coextracted with the humic substances. Processing of the data in respect of humic substance content over 13 composting processes and one study on the degradation of plant residues in soils, confirmed that no net humic substances are formed during composting and that the humification should be interpreted merely as degradation of the organic matter associated with the humic substances, after uncovering what is known as the core of the humus. The concept of humification during the composting process therefore needs to be reviewed, bearing in mind that neither the method commonly used for humic substance extraction nor the relative results obtained enable it to be interpreted satisfactorily.  相似文献

The fate of organic matter during composting is poorly understood. Therefore, we analysed composts of sewage sludges and green wastes (44 samples representative of 11 stages of biodegradation) by conventional chemical methods: pH, humic (HA) and fulvic acid (FA) content, C, N and organic matter (OM) content, and by 13C CPMAS NMR to assess the decomposition process of the organic matter. Chemical changes clearly occurred in two phases: first, decomposition of OM during the first 2 months was characterized by decreased C/N ratios, OM content and increased pH; and second, a humification process with increased HA/FA ratios. NMR spectrum changes confirmed this pattern, with an increase in aromaticity and a decrease in alkyl C. A decrease of syringyl to guaiacyl ratio (S/G), a sign of lignin transformation, also indicated humification during composting. NMR spectroscopic properties of composts were also studied by means of principal components analysis (PCA) and revealed changes according to the degree of compost maturation. The factorial map presents a chronological distribution of composts on the two first principal components. The influences of eight chemical factors on the PCA ordination of composts as monitored by their evolution by NMR were also studied by multivariate analyses. PCA clearly indicated two phases: the rapid decomposition of organic matter followed by the formation of humic‐like substances. The first phase, that is ‘new’ composts, was strongly correlated with OM contents, pH and C/N ratios whereas the second phase, corresponding to ‘old’ compost, was correlated with pH, HA content and HA/FA ratio. These results confirm that knowledge of the formation of humic substances is indispensable to suitable monitoring of the composting process.  相似文献

好氧堆肥是一种有效处理农业废弃物的方法,有利于实现农业资源的循环利用。但堆肥也有它的缺点,堆肥过程中的碳素损失是造成温室气体形成的重要原因。因此研究碳素在堆肥过程中的转化规律对于如何减少堆肥潜在的负面环境影响十分重要。该研究以生猪养殖发酵床废弃垫料及秀珍菇菌渣为原料,利用强制通风静态堆肥技术研究垫料和菌渣不同配比及添加EM菌剂对堆肥过程碳素物质转化的影响。结果表明,堆肥过程中总有机碳呈逐渐下降趋势;胡敏酸呈逐渐增加的趋势;微生物量碳和可溶性碳呈先增后降的变化趋势。堆肥结束时,碳素降解率为5.7%~10.2%,胡敏酸增加了56.0%~131.0%,可溶性有机碳增加了54.5%~81.5%,微生物生物量碳增加了31.7%~73.4%。以垫料为主料的堆肥处理碳素损失高于以菌渣为主料的处理,添加EM菌剂可以加速有机质的矿化分解和提高腐殖质化指数。  相似文献

In this study, incubation of unripe compost with ligno-cellulolytic microorganisms —Trichoderma viride orBacillus spp. — was investigated to increase the degree of humification of the organic matter present, and improve ils quality as a soil amendment. High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) analyses together with humification indices and electrofocusing patterns were used to monitor the evolution of the humic substances during the incubation process. Plant growth effects exerted by Azotobacter chroococcum on lettuce plants growing on the previously incubated compost were affected by the length of incubation and by changes in the composition of humic substances. Higher organic matter content and better humification seem to be important factors for predictingA. chroococcum hebaviour in the rhizosphere.  相似文献

This paper proposes an index for the evaluation of compost maturity based on the evolution of molecular weights of humic acids (HA) during composting. The evolution of HA molecular weight was followed during the composting of both olive mill wastewater (OMW) and olive mill pomace (OMP). The wastes were composted in forced aeration static piles. Samples of the compost were collected at different times during composting. The elution profiles of HA obtained by gel filtration (Sephadex G-150) showed the disappearance of fractions with molecular weights ≤ 50 KDa and the contemporary increase of fraction with molecular weights ≥ 102 KDa. In this range, two fractions can be separated: the first one (A1) with molecular weights greater than 102 KDa and below 2 102 KDa, and the second one (A2) with molecular weight greater than 2 102 KDa. During composting, the ratio A2/A1 tends to reach a constant value which indicates the evolution toward the polymerization of HA. The ratio A2/A1 was named HAEI (Humic Acid Evolution Index). It varies with the material composted and the composting process and represents the maximum possible degree of HA polymerization. A comparison between HAEI and the usually used maturity indexes is also presented.  相似文献

为研究不同配方中药渣废弃物好氧堆肥产品品质差异及其对土壤碳素矿化的影响,设置了好氧堆肥和有机肥还田两个试验。通过工厂化条垛式好氧堆肥试验,研究了中药渣废弃物3种组合,在相同碳氮比、不同木质纤维素含量下对好氧堆肥产品品质的影响;采用土壤呼吸瓶进行室内恒温恒湿培养模拟土壤施肥效应,研究了3种有机肥施用对不同肥力土壤有机碳分解动态的影响。试验结果显示:中药渣物料的初始木质纤维素含量显著影响堆肥产品的碳氮养分转化和腐殖质组分。与初始低木质纤维素含量处理(T1)相比,高木质纤维素含量处理(T3)堆肥有机碳降解难,堆肥产品中全碳含量提高5.7%,全氮含量降低18.4%,但有利于腐殖质形成,尤其是显著增加胡敏酸组分20.9%。3种中药渣堆肥产品等碳量输入对不同肥力土壤的碳素矿化效果差异显著,高肥力土壤CO2-C的释放速率和累积释放量均高于低肥力土壤,但有机碳的累积矿化率却低于低肥力土壤,并且高肥力土壤中添加T1堆肥产品累积矿化率显著高于添加T3堆肥产品。两个肥力土壤中有机肥中胡敏酸组分与土壤碳素矿化率之间呈显著负相关关系。因此,为提高有机肥的土壤固碳效应,可适当提高有机肥中胡敏...  相似文献

通过苜蓿、猫尾草、籽粒苋分别与牛粪混合堆腐进行改性处理,研究堆腐过程中有机组分的动态变化。结果表明,绿肥与牛粪混合堆腐可以使堆腐产物中水溶性有机组分的含量增加,提供更多的营养物质供作物直接吸收利用,并且显著提高了堆腐产物持续生成水溶性胡敏酸的能力,其中添加苜蓿堆腐处理产生的水溶性有机组分含量大于其它处理。添加苜蓿和猫尾草堆腐不但可以增加堆腐产物中碱溶性有机物和碱溶性胡敏酸的含量,提高堆腐产物的HA/FA值,而且在堆腐后期可以降低堆腐产物中碱溶性富里酸的减小,添加籽粒苋堆腐处理这种作用不明显。  相似文献

The effects of four humic substance (HS) samples, a soil humic acid and two humic acids and one fulvic acid isolated from a composting substrate, were evaluated on the mycelial growth of Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. melonis (FOM) and F. oxysporum f. sp. lycopersici (FOL). In general, any HS treatment reduced significantly the radial growth of the FOM mycelium either in normal [potato dextrose agar (PDA) medium] or sub-optimal (water–agar medium) nutritional conditions. Differently, the FOL growth, which was tested only on PDA, was either inhibited or stimulated on dependence of the HS treatment used. The HS fractions isolated from the composting substrate were the most effective inhibitors of mycelial growth of both fungi. Furthermore, any HS treatment was also able to alter the germination process of FOL in aqueous medium, not only by reducing significantly the number of viable germinating conidia but also by generally decreasing the rate of conidial germ-tube elongation. Apparently, the extent of the inhibitory action was related to some chemical and functional properties of HS, such as the COOH group content and elemental composition.  相似文献

为快速高效无害化处理啤酒厂污泥,对啤酒厂的污水污泥进行微好氧堆肥发酵处理工艺进行了研究,重点研究了啤酒厂污水污泥袋式堆肥过程中温度、含水率、pH值、腐殖酸、有机碳、全氮、水溶性有机碳、发芽指数等参数的变化规律。结果表明:采用棉籽饼作为啤酒厂污水污泥的调理剂,将啤酒厂污水污泥与棉籽饼按照质量比4︰1的比例(添加质量分数为0.5%的尿素,调节C/N为30︰1,含水率为60%)进行混合后,每袋50 kg进行打包后封口发酵,21 d后出料松散且无臭味,堆肥产品腐熟,卫生学指标达到了国标要求。该研究为建立快速高效处理啤酒厂污泥新工艺提供了技术依据。  相似文献

How composting affects heavy metal content is largely unknown. Accordingly, we investigate the total content of six heavy metals, Cd/Zn ratio and the Zn-equiv, the relative availability and fractionation study to assess the suitability of compost derived out of those for environmental concerns. During composting, total metal content increased but their RA decreased. As a result of composting bioavailable form of metals also decreased. High significant correlations between different forms of heavy metals content and degree of humification were found for all the elements. Composting increases humic acid content than fulvic acid. This transformation is mainly responsible to serve as binding agent for metal thereby moderating the rapid metal mobilization.  相似文献

ABSTRACT. Composting is an efficient technique for managing the increasing production of organic wastes since it transforms them into a valuable product that can be applied to soil to improve it. However, it is necessary to ensure the adequate properties of this product for a proper agricultural or environmental application. Various parameters have been proposed as estimators of the evolution of the composting process, nevertheless there is a lack of easy techniques with a wide application range for monitoring it. This study evaluated some parameters that can be used to test compost evolution in samples of composted sewage sludge under full-scale conditions. Total extractable carbon (TEC) by alkaline solution of sodium pyrophosphate, humic acids (HA), fulvic acids (FA), and the ratio of them (HA/FA) were obtained by a one-step extraction procedure. Results were compared with those obtained after an official extraction method for the same parameters. Total organic matter was calculated by calcination (TOM%). The objective was to assess the usefulness of the one-step extraction as an easy and cheap tool for monitoring the composting process. The results indicate that both extraction procedures show a statistically significant correlation between them and with TOM%. Therefore, TEC obtained by the one-step extraction procedure can provide useful information about the evolution of the composting process of compost samples with the easiest methodology.  相似文献

采用添加高效腐熟菌剂NMF菌群进行奶牛粪便的腐熟试验。结果表明,接种NMF菌剂的奶牛粪便在25 d内可以达到腐熟标准,氮磷钾总养分和腐植酸分别比不接菌处理提高18%和45%。NMF菌剂可以通过改变微生物区系、增加纤维素酶和多酚氧化酶活性等途径加快腐熟速度,促进腐熟程度。  相似文献

腐殖质是评价堆肥品质的重要因素,该文利用鸡粪和秸秆为原料进行高温好氧堆肥,设计接种菌剂和不接种菌剂(对照)2个处理,研究菌剂添加对堆肥腐殖质形态、含量、品质的影响。结果表明:与对照相比,接种菌剂可以加快有机物的降解,矿质化时间缩短14d,菌剂具有良好的保碳效果,总有机碳含量提高了16.1%,同时总腐殖酸、游离腐殖酸以及水溶态腐殖酸及胡敏酸的含量,分别提高了38.7%,45.7%、39.0%及54.9%。接种菌剂可以提高腐殖酸的活性,堆肥结束后,接种菌剂处理的游离腐殖酸和水溶性腐殖酸含量均增加,而对照处理的含量均降低;堆肥可以提高腐殖酸质量,堆肥结束后两个处理总腐殖酸含量均下降但是缩合度、腐殖化率、腐殖化指数及胡敏酸百分比均提高,特别是添加菌剂的处理腐殖化程度明显高于对照。说明了菌剂可以增加堆肥腐殖质含量,提高腐殖质缩合度、芳构化程度及活性。  相似文献

The composting process of organic wastes consists of the bioconversion of biologically unstable wastes to stabilized products for application to soils. This study was carried out on different soils (brown isohumic soils in Sfax region in southern Tunisia and calcimagnesic soils in Korba region in northern Tunisia). The mineralization process of organic matter is more important in isohumic soils, showing less tenors of fine fractions than in calcimagnesic soils. The study of different humic fractions in amended soils shows that humic acid tenors and the polymerization rates are linked to soil nature. Calcimagnesic soils ensure a more important humification than isohumic soils.  相似文献

Abstract

The humus composition was analyzed and the humic acid characterized by UV and visible absorption spectroscopy in order to investigate the rotting and maturing process of city refuse compost according to the method of Kumada et al. During the composting process, the following findings were obtained: (1) the HT value was almost constant, but the HE/HT ratio varied somewhat, (2) HA increased with decrease in FA, and the PQ value so increased clearly, (3) the shoulder-like absorption at a wavelength near 270 nm weakened, and (4) the RF value of humic acid increased, whereas the Δ log K value seldom varied.

The IR spectrum of humic acid gradually changed as follows: (1) the absorption band in the 1700-1600 cm-1 region and in the 1550-1500 cm-1 region increased slightly, (2) the band in the 1100-1000 cm-1 region decreased, and (3) the bands at 835 and 710 cm-1 com pletely disappeared. On the whole, the shape of the IR spectrum of the city refuse compost became featureless. These changes were probably due to the oxidation which occurred in the composting process.  相似文献

The C-13 spectra at 75.4 MHz of various leaf and needle composts are studied as a function of the composting time, and the chemical changes observed are discussed. In addition, the C-13 spectra of humic acids produced from typical composted Mediterranean horticultural and agricultural waste like grapevine prunings, grape husks and wheat straw are examined. The spectra from all materials show increasingly poorer resolution with increasing composting time. No new C-13 signals to indicate the formation of new chemical entities are seen to occur during the process of composting. It is shown by quantitative ESR that the deterioration of the quality of the NMR spectra is not due to formation of additional free radicals during the composting process.  相似文献

以鸡粪和稻草为原料进行条垛式堆肥,接种芽孢杆菌菌剂,堆肥共持续42 d。堆肥过程中接种菌剂处理和对照的总腐殖酸含量呈现先下降然后上升趋势。堆肥前3 d接种菌剂处理和对照的总腐殖酸含量基本相同,第7d接种菌剂处理总腐殖酸含量开始大于对照,堆肥结束时接种菌剂堆肥的总腐殖酸含量为23.1%,而对照的为17.2%。游离腐殖酸、水溶性腐殖酸、胡敏酸含量与总腐殖酸含量的变化趋势基本一致,呈现先降后升的趋势。富里酸含量呈先升后降趋势。堆肥结束时接种菌剂处理的各种腐殖酸含量均显著高于对照,说明接种菌剂可以促进堆肥中腐殖酸的产生。  相似文献

Monitoring the physical, chemical and biological properties during accelerated composting enables concise determination of its stability and maturity. Determination of physical parameters such as pH, moisture and temperature, chemical parameters such as total nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), potassium (K), organic matter and humic acid as well as biological parameters such as microbial count and carbon dioxide (CO2) evolution was carried out during a four (4) week composting period, The trend observed for pH showed the mesophilic and thermophilic phases and a similar trend was observed for the compost temperature. Intermittent increase and decrease was observed for total N, P, K as well as for the fungal and bacterial population. A direct relationship was observed among the bacterial population, CO2 evolution and humic acid. However, composting for four (4) weeks produced a stable compost, which was evident through the physical observation of the final product and the results obtained for the chemical and biological parameters.  相似文献
