大学新生适应性教育是以大学新生为教育主体,帮助大学新生在学习、生活、心理等各方面进行合理的调整,以适应全新的大学环境,并以适应社会的大环境为最终目的所进行的系统的、有计划的教育引导活动。由于大学相较于高中在管理方式、教学方法、课程设置等方面存在很大的差异,许多大学生在入学后不久会出现不适应。大学新生适应性教育的目的就在于使大学生尽快了解大学生活的规律,适应大学阶段的培养模式,熟悉大学学习、工作和生活的相关程序和规范,明确目标方向,做好合理的人生规划。 相似文献

In an attempt to aid the planning of courses and curricula in animal science, a survey instrument concerning careers, opinions and suggestions regarding education received was sent to 1,398 alumni who had graduated during the years 1956 to 1987. Longitudinal studies of 1972-82 entering animal science students, and a telephone survey of students who entered as freshmen in 1985-86, provided information concerning student profiles and educational interests. Fifty-two percent of alumni were women, 61% had obtained advanced degrees, about 50% were veterinarians, laboratory or medical scientists, business owners or managers, only 8% were ranch owners or managers, and the rest were engaged in a multiplicity of careers. Undergraduate experiences judged most important by alumni were obtaining academic skills, followed by advanced biology courses, animal science courses, work experience and developing the ability to continue learning. Alumni suggestions for change gave priority to offering more practical subject matter and business and economics in the animal science program, followed by more general education, research, science and theory, or no change. Approximately 30% of entering freshmen students graduated in the animal science major. US veterinary students are subject to significant stress throughout their veterinary education. In this article, the authors characterize the use of over-the-counter (OTC) medications and relate their use to stress in a veterinary student population. Of the students sampled, 35% were OTC medication users; 33% of these were regular OTC medication users. Forty-three percent of students were energy drink (ED) users; 45% of these were regular ED users. OTC medication users had significantly higher stress scores than non-OTC medication users, and ED users had significantly higher anxiety scores than non-ED users. The most common reasons for use given by OTC medication users were to help with studying and to fall asleep at night. Depression scores were significantly higher for juniors and sophomores than for freshmen. Depression, stress, and anxiety scores were all lower in the Colorado State University students when compared with the University of Georgia students. OTC medication and ED veterinary student users had distinct characteristics that differed from those of nonusers. Users suffered from more stress and anxiety and had more difficulties with sleep, which may have affected their overall health and academic performance. Educating veterinary students about the consequences of using OTC medication and ED and providing counseling support may be of benefit to veterinary students' psychological well-being. 相似文献

采用知识价值观问卷对1258名大学生进行调查,并结合十年前大学生知识价值观的研究,分析十年来知识价值观的新变化。结果表明:十年前后大学生都更重视知识的社会价值,在年级、性别水平上的知识价值观特征相同,都是大一最重视知识价值,大三最不重视知识价值,女生比男生更重视知识价值,且差异显著;在专业水平上,十年前后大学知识价值观特征不同,十年前文理工三个专业对知识的重视程度无显著差异,当前理科生对知识价值的重视程度依次高于工科生、文科生,差异显著。 相似文献

Tooth surface and interradicular area (furcation) measurements were determined for 20 fourth maxillary premolar teeth obtained randomly from canine cadavers. The palatal furcation entrance had a mean width of 1.2 +/- 0.1 mm. The coronal roof of the palatal furcation was located at the cementoenamal junction (CEJ). The buccal furcation entrance had a mean width of 0.9 +/- 0.2 mm. The horizontal attachment area between the CEJ and the coronal roof of the buccal furcation was 1.3 +/- 0.3 mm. The mesial furcation entrance had a mean width of 0.4 +/- 0.1 mm. The horizontal attachment area between the CEJ and the coronal roof of the mesial furcation entrance was 1.7 +/- 0.3 mm. The mean coefficient of variation for variables measured was 10.3%. Tooth size did not have a significant effect on furcation entrance measurement. All teeth had a fluted area between the CEJ and mesial furcation, a concavity coronal to the furcation area, a distal concavity of the mesial root trunk between the mesiopalatal and mesiobuccal roots, and a mesial furcation concavity of the distal root extending apically for a mean distance of 60% of the distal root length. The complexity of furcation entrance anatomy may be a factor in the manifestation of periodontal disease involving the furcation of the fourth maxillary premolar in dogs. 相似文献
