黔西北地区光皮桦次生林主要群落类型初步研究   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
按照典型抽样方法,调查了贵州西北部地区28个光皮桦天然次生林样地,根据样地乔木、灌木树种优势种、亚优势种的构成情况进行群落的初步分类。结果表明,该地区光皮桦次生林主要有光皮桦纯林、川榛-光皮桦林、光皮桦响叶杨混交林、光皮桦杉木混交林和光皮桦马尾松混交林5种类型。各类型林分光皮桦的密度较大,树高和胸径生长多处于中等至偏低水平,蓄积量生长则处于偏低至很低水平,绝大多数达不到用材林的生长指标和经济价值。现有光皮桦天然次生林的保护和利用目标,宜以水土保持林为主。如要培育生产力水平较高、经济价值较大的光皮桦用材林,应当选择立地条件较好的造林地,采用人工植苗造林的方式。  相似文献

When pine trees are invaded by pine wilt diseases, the severely infected pine trees will die and fall down, or they will be removed when found to be damaged by the disease. It gives rise to the invasion of other species in these empty niches originally occupied by pine trees, i.e., competing surrounding trees or understory shrubs will invade the empty niches during the following years. As a result, the spatial distribution and pattern of the main tree species in a pine forest will change, and a niche variety in the main population will occur. In the end, the direction of the succession and restoration of the pine forest ecosystem will be affected. In our study, a Pinus massoniana forest with the dominant shrub, Pleioblastus amarus, was invaded by pine wood nematode and was clear cut. Selecting this community as our research object, we studied the effect of the invasion of the pine wood nematode on the growth of the dominant shrub, P. amarus, in this Pinus massoniana forest. Our results show that, after the attacked pine trees were removed, the niche was occupied by Pleioblastus amarus and other shrubs, which benefited the growth of P. amarus to its climax. Growth of P. amarus at the climax stage was greater compared with the unhealthy pine forest and the control group.  相似文献

From 2002 to 2003, based on the investigation of sample plots and stem analysis of remained plantation communities in the areas of returning farmland to forest in the 1980s in Datong County, Qinghai Province, this paper studies tree productivity and moisture potential productivity of six types of plantations on the land of returning farmland to forest, such as green poplar (Populus cathayana Rehd.) and shrub mixed forest, Asia white birch (Betula platyphylla) and China spruce (Picea asperata) mixed forest, Dahurian larch (Larix gmelinii) pure forest, China spruce pure forest and Asia white birch pure forest and so on. The results show that: in sub-humid region of Loess Plateau, 3 000 trees per hm2 is a proper standard of planting density. Under current condition, the productivity index of green poplar and shrub mixed forest, Asia white birch pure forest, China spruce pure forest, and Asia white birch and China spruce mixed forest with the density of 2 100–3 333 trees per hm2 can serve as potential productivity standard of actual biomass of arbor established forest. In sub-humid area, Thornthwaite Model is adopted to estimate plant climate potential productivity, which is about 8 462 kg•hm–2•a–1. The actual potential water productive efficiency of Purplecone spruce (Picea purpurea) and Asia white birch pure established forest are 17.22 and 22.14 kg•mm–1•hm–2•a–1 respectively, and that of green poplar and shrub mixed established forest, and Asia white birch and China spruce mixed established forest are 21.14 and 19.09 kg•mm–1•hm–2•a–1 respectively. The potential productivity of green poplar and shrub mixed forest, Asia white birch and China spruce mixed forest, China spruce pure forest and Asia white birch pure forest which have grown into forest with the density of 3 000 trees per hm2 have attained or been close to that of local climax community, which is local maximum tree productivity at present. These types of forestation models are the developing direction of the returning farmland to forest project.  相似文献

The 2-year-old seedlings of five different white birch species (Betula platyphylla, Betula papyrifera, Betula pubescens, Betula pendula (two types) and Betula resinifera x Betula pendula) grown both in a greenhouse and outdoors, were inoculated in a leaf disc assay with two different birch rust (Mel-ampsoridium betulinum) isolates from B. pendula and B. pubescens. The resistance of these birch species varied significantly. Resistance to the B. pubescens rust isolate was not related to the resistance of the B. pendula rust isolate. The behaviour of a birch genotype grown in the greenhouse did not correspond to the behaviour of the same genotype grown outdoors. The outdoor growth environment greatly increased the contents of soluble proteins, rubisco, chloro-phyll and nitrogen in the leaves of diploid birch species (B. platyphylla, B. pendula and B. resinifera x B. pendula). For tetraploid and pentaploid species (B. pubescens and B. papyrifera, respectively) there was no such clear difference in the leaf physiological status between the seedlings grown outdoors and in the greenhouse. The C:N ratio was higher for the greenhouse-grown seedlings in all the birch species, but the difference was significant only with the diploid species. The incidence of rust in the birch species did not correlate with any of the leaf physiological parameters studied. The adaptability of birch genotypes to the environment in relation to their resistance to birch leaf rust is discussed.  相似文献

【目的】研究寒温带森林根际土壤微生物量碳氮含量的动态变化,为揭示森林土壤碳氮养分利用机制和碳氮循环提供参考,为研究区森林保护与合理经营提供科学依据。【方法】以我国寒温带针阔混交林为研究对象,选择主要组成树种樟子松、兴安落叶松、白桦和山杨,采用抖落法采集根际和非根际土壤样品,对土壤微生物量碳氮含量动态特征进行研究,探讨不同树种根际土壤微生物量碳氮的富集程度、差异性和生长季变化以及其对土壤营养库的贡献率。【结果】不同树种根际土壤微生物量碳氮含量月际变化差异显著,根际土壤微生物量碳含量波动范围为114.14~451.05 mg ·kg -1 ,氮含量波动范围为40.38~185.00 mg ·kg -1 。根际土壤微生物量碳富集率依次为樟子松(87.99%)>白桦(78.22%)>兴安落叶松(73.14%)>山杨(56.96%),微生物量氮富集率依次为山杨(81.50%)>白桦(77.63%)>樟子松(76.42%)>兴安落叶松(51.40%)。土壤微生物量碳氮比为1.42~5.24,樟子松、兴安落叶松、白桦、山杨根际和非根际土壤微生物量碳氮比生长季变幅分别为1.42~5.24、1.57~3.79、1.67~4.55、1.55~2.59和1.79~3.53,其均值分别为2.64、2.63、2.81、2.11和2.36。根际微生物量碳对土壤有机碳库的贡献率为0.83%~0.95%,微生物量氮对土壤有机氮库的贡献率为3.63%~5.08%。【结论】寒温带针阔混交林主要树种生长季根际土壤微生物量碳氮含量均显著高于非根际,根际效应显著;在生长季末期,针叶树种根际效应相比阔叶树种更为强烈;针叶树种根际土壤微生物量对土壤结构和功能的影响高于阔叶树种。  相似文献

The growth, technical quality and nutritional status of pure and mixed silver birch (Betula pendula Roth) and downy birch (Betula pubescens Ehrh.) plantations were studied 21 and 22 years after planting on afforested organic soil arable land and on upland forest soil. In mixtures, 50% of both birch species was planted. Silver birch trees grew better, but had higher mortality than downy birch trees on both sites. Mortality of both species was highest, and the difference in their growth smallest, on organic soil. In pure stands on organic soil, downy birch dominant height, diameter and mean volume were 96%, 92% and 82% of those of silver birch and on mineral soil 87%, 84% and 60%, correspondingly. On mineral soil, silver birch had a higher mean annual increment (MAI) (5.8 m3 ha?1a?1) than downy birch (3.9 m3 ha?1a?1), but on organic soil the MAI of both species was similar (3.3–3.4 m3 ha?1 a?1). Planting birches in mixture did not affect the growth of the trees on organic soil. On mineral soil, the mean diameter and mean volume of silver birch trees were higher in mixed than in pure plantations. The technical stem quality of both tree species was low. On mineral soils, pure silver birch is more productive than mixture, but on peat soil the higher growth of silver birch could contribute to increased productivity and downy birch would ensure sufficient survival for future timber production.  相似文献

介绍了结构化森林经营的基本理论与主要技术,包括数据调查、林分状态特征分析、经营设计以及经营效果评价等,并以东北阔叶红松林经营实践为例,具体介绍了结构化森林经营方法的应用。应用结构化森林经营方法分析表明,经营阔叶红松林林分为次生林状态,经营类型为抚育间伐型,经营迫切性评价等级为比较迫切,经营方向为提高林分的健康水平和顶极树种的优势程度。本次经营调整顶极树种竞争势及树种混交76株,采伐不健康林木122株。经营后效果评价表明:经营强度属于轻度干扰,顶极树种和主要伴生树种红松、杉松、黄波罗、椴树、核桃楸等的优势度较经营前明显上升,林分中健康林木比例明显上升。本次经营达到了经营目标。  相似文献

Abstract

There is a growing interest in the effects of deciduous trees on biodiversity, soil processes and long-term productivity in boreal, conifer-dominated forests. This study investigated whether individual birch trees allowed to grow to maturity in the coniferous forest can have a local effect on floristic richness and regeneration of tree saplings. The ground vegetation was compared in 2?m radius plots around the stem under the canopies of matched conifer–deciduous trees in a mature, conifer-dominated forest, and included in the analysis variables that could potentially mediate the tree effect (soil pH, cover of lichens, bryophytes, leaf and needle litter). The field layer vegetation was more species rich under birch (Betula pendula and B. pubescens) than under conifers (Picea abies and Pinus sylvestris), and several vascular plant species (including saplings of tree species) occurred more often under birch than under conifers. However, when the effect of the number of subordinate trees was taken into account the difference between birch and pine was not significant. The number of tree regenerations (saplings) was lowest under pines, but did not differ between spruce and birch. There were no effects of the canopy species on soil pH or on cover of lichens and bryophytes. The difference in diversity may be caused by the different effects of leaf and needle litter, and it is also likely that canopy structure has an influence via interception and throughfall and by affecting the light and microclimate.  相似文献

This study aims to derive allometric functions to estimate the above- and belowground biomass components of the most important tree species in Latvia. The study material included a total of 81 Norway spruce (Picea abies [L.] Karst), 102 Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris L.), 105 birch spp. (mainly silver birch (Betula pendula Roth)) and 84 European aspen (Populus tremula L.) trees sampled in 124 forest stands. The suitability of three mathematical models for the prediction of total aboveground biomass, stem biomass, total live and dead branch biomass, belowground biomass and small root biomass was evaluated. Our analysis revealed that the use of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change mean default values for the root-to-shoot ratio recommended for temperate and boreal ecological zones leads to the overestimation of root biomass of young trees, especially Scots pine and Norway spruce. Our findings indicate that biomass functions recommended for other Baltic Sea countries are not appropriate for the assessment of the biomass stock in Latvia’s forests because these lead to biased estimates. The biomass functions derived in our study are recommended for reporting the biomass stock in Latvia.  相似文献

Analysis of in vivo shoot nitrate reductase activity (NRA) of the grass Deschampsia flexuosa (L.) Trin. has been proposed as a method of indicating the availability of nitrate in northern temperate forest soils. We report the seasonal variation in NRA and the influence of temperature on the NRA assay. Studies were performed in the field or on natural populations on topsoil monoliths in a greenhouse.

The induced in vivo NRA as measured at 28°C was higher in plants grown at lower than at higher temperatures within the range 4–20°C, although the induction was faster at higher temperatures. When the assay was performed at various temperatures, enzyme activity was much lower at lower temperatures. The accumulation of organic nitrogen in shoots showed that reduction actually increased with temperature. Transfer of monoliths from high to low temperature led to an increase of in vivo NRA within a day, whereas the decline caused by the reverse began after six days. Variations in temperature accounted for between 0 and 80% of the seasonal variation in NRA in the field, depending on the influence of the variability in nitrate supply.

Maximally induced NRA after application of nitrate was mostly higher in a clearfelling than in a closed forest. In the forest, there was a close correlation between current and maximally induced NRA. One interpretation of this result is that low availability of nitrogen may have been a cause of the lower maximally induced NRA there. This is supported by results from other studies.

We conclude that variations in temperature and availability of nitrogen, particularly nitrate, are largely responsible for seasonal variations in NRA. The influence of temperature can be adjusted for.  相似文献

基于山杨(Poptdus davidianaD.)次生林固定标准地M712、M720的每木检尺数据,采用Hegyi单木竞争指数对帽儿山林场天然山杨次生林的种内、种间竞争强度进行定量分析。研究结果表明:山杨次生林林木所受到的竞争强度随着林木径级的增大而逐渐减小。山杨次生林种内竞争较与伴生树种枫桦的种间竞争弱。山杨次生林种内和种间竞争强度的顺序为:枫桦〉白桦〉蒙古栎〉杏树〉黄菠萝〉山杨〉胡桃楸〉槭树〉榆树〉水曲柳〉椴树〉暴马丁香〉桦树〉花楸〉花曲柳〉色木。  相似文献

We investigated the distribution of nitrate reductase activity (NRA) among leaves, roots, culms, twigs, sprouts, culm sheaths, and new leaves of Phyllostachys pubescens Mazel in May, when many sprouts emerge above ground and new leaves of adult culms expand. We found that the NRA differed among parts, and that sprouts showed high NRA. These results indicate that different tissues of P. pubescens vary in nitrate reduction, and sprouts possess high nitrate reduction capacity. We also found that culm sheaths showed high NRA, indicating that they have a high potential for nitrate reduction, even though they are shed in the way of sprout growth.  相似文献

Deposition of protons, nitrate and sulphate have caused a decrease in soil pH and base saturation in southern Scandinavia. Floral changes have been suggested to be due to this deposition. This study was made to test if differences in nitrate assimilation capability between plants could be one of the reasons behind reported changes in the flora. Current and maximally induced nitrate reductase activity (C‐NRA and MI‐NRA, respectively) were measured in four beech forest field‐layer species, which have been reported to behave differently with respect to acid rain. The study was conducted at four sites of different soil quality (pH). There were considerable differences between the species as regards both C‐NRA and MI‐NRA. For two of the studied species, Galium odoratum and Stellaria nemorum, the gap between C‐ and MI‐NRA was relatively small but for Mercurialis perennis and Oxalis acetosella, this gap was larger. A small difference between C‐ and MI‐NRA should indicate that a larger portion of the available resources for nitrate reduction is already used. The concentrations of soluble carbohydrates were correlated with the MI‐NRA after leafing of beech, while before leafing no such effect could be detected. It can be concluded that the light environment has a considerable effect on the nitrate nutrition of field‐layer plants. Apparently, some species receive as much nitrate as they can reduce. Fertiliser experiments are needed to test if higher addition rates are harmful to them.  相似文献

Whole-tree harvesting (WTH), where logging residues are removed in addition to stems, is widely practised in Fennoscandian boreal forests. WTH increases the export of nutrients from forest ecosystems. The extent of nutrient removals may depend on tree species, harvesting method, and the intensity of harvesting. We developed generalized nutrient equations for Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris L.), Norway spruce (Picea abies Karsten), and birch (Betula pendula Roth and Betula pubescens Ehrh.) stands to be able to calculate the amounts of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, and calcium in stems and above-ground biomass (stem and crown) as a function of stand volume. The equations were based on Fennoscandian literature data from 34 pine, 26 spruce, and 5 birch stands, and they explained, depending on the tree species and nutrient, 61–99% and 56–87% of the variation in the nutrient amounts of stems and above-ground biomass, respectively. The calculations based on the equations showed that nutrient removals caused by stem-only harvesting (SOH) and WTH per harvested stem m3 were smaller in pine than in spruce and birch stands. If the same volume of stem is harvested, nutrient removals are, in general, nearly equal at thinnings and final cuttings in SOH, but larger in thinnings than final cuttings in WTH. If the principal aim is to minimize the nutrient removals per harvested stem m3, the harvesting should be done at mature pine stands. The effect of biomass removal on overall site nutrient status depends on site-specific factors such as atmospheric deposition, weathering of minerals, and the size of the nutrient pools in the soil.  相似文献
