Shattering habit and dormancy of spikelets were studied in a cultivated form of Echinochloa oryzicola , which was found in 1994 in the Yunnan Province of China, and compared with a weedy form of the same species. Spikelet weight of the cultivated form (8.3 mg) was nearly twice as large as that of the weedy form. The weedy form developed abscission layers in the spikelet rachis before detachment, but the cultivated form developed no particular structures at a comparable region of the spikelet rachis. The spikelet shattering percentage in the cultivated form was 4.2% at 80 days after heading, compared with 99.8% in the weedy form. Spikelets of the cultivated form, collected in the field at 60 days after heading, showed 96.3% germination in the laboratory at 20/30 °C in the light, and vivipary of the spikelets was observed in the field after persistent rainfall. The weedy form showed only 0.1% germination in the laboratory when collected at 60 days after heading, but this increased to 55% after 100 days of dry storage. We concluded that the cultivated form of E. oryzicola examined in the present study was characterized by large spikelets with non-shattering habit and no innate dormancy.  相似文献

Summary Co-ordinating herbicide applications with the suppressive ability of the crop has the potential to improve weed control and optimize herbicide use in water-seeded rice. However, the successful integration of herbicide applications and crop development depends on the timing and duration of competition between rice and weeds. The critical period of competition between rice and Echinochloa species was examined in field and glasshouse experiments from 1996 to 2000. In 1999 and 2000, Echinochloa species seeded 30 days after rice in field experiments did not survive and rice yields were not reduced when plots were kept weed-free for 30 days or longer. In a basin experiment conducted in 1998, E. phyllopogon seeded with the crop was unaffected by light competition alone but the relative importance of shading by the crop increased when E. phyllopogon was seeded after rice. Management strategies that delay the germination or growth of Echinochloa species might confer a competitive advantage to rice and reduce the need for herbicide applications. However, yields in the field experiments were reduced by at least 18% after only 30 days of competition in both years, suggesting that it may be difficult to integrate currently available herbicides with crop growth in water-seeded rice.  相似文献

本文以线粒体COI基因片段为分子标记,扩增了舞毒蛾部分种群的DNA序列,结合GenBank上发表的世界舞毒蛾种群相关序列,重建了舞毒蛾不同地理种群的系统发育关系.结果表明:世界舞毒蛾分成4支:冲绳舞毒蛾、北海道舞毒蛾地理种群、欧亚大陆舞毒蛾地理种群(包括日本大陆地区)和北美舞毒蛾地理种群.其中世界地理种群在COI基因上变异为0%~7%,中国种群在COI基因上没有差异.  相似文献

Echinochloa species are amongst the most problematic weeds in rice fields of Korea. The steady reliance on the Acetyl‐CoA carboxylase (ACCase) and acetolactate synthase inhibiting herbicides for control of these weeds has led to resistance to these herbicides. The objective of this study was to assess the genetic diversity among populations of ACCase inhibitor‐resistant and ‐susceptible Echinochloa crus‐galli and E. oryzicola in Korea, to better understand their population structure and possible origins of resistance. Seven simple sequence repeat markers were applied to assess the genetic diversity between resistant and susceptible E. crus‐galli and E. oryzicola from 12 populations in Korea. Genetic diversity was slightly higher in the resistant group. The Unweighted Pair Group Method using Arithmetic algorithm (UPGMA) dendrogram generated two distinct clades. One clade consisted of Echinochloa spp. from three populations, i.e. Anmyeondo, Gimje 4 and Gongju, which are resistant and differentiated from the susceptible populations, and the other clade contained the rest of the populations. Structure modelling supported two clades of UPGMA clustering. Based on these data, we can infer that some resistant populations are greatly differentiated, whereas other resistant biotypes are still building up resistance in rice fields in Korea. Resistance traits will be fixed and continue to spread over time without proper control measures.  相似文献

为了研究枣(Ziziphus jujuba Mill.)和酸枣(Z.jujuba var.spinosa)叶脉序的关系,选用黄土高原丘陵枣区的枣(55个)、酸枣(28个)和过渡型(7个)共计90个样品,利用LEAF GUI叶脉序分析技术,测定了叶脉密度(VLA)、叶脉间距离(IVD)和节点数(Nodes)等14个指标,主成分分析选出8个枣叶脉序特征指标,研究了枣和酸枣叶脉序指标特点及特征。结果表明,在干旱、贫瘠生境中生长的酸枣,其叶脉间距离(0.094 mm)、网眼面积(2.84×10~(-4)mm~2)和节点数(17 823个)都显著低于黄土高原丘陵区枣园栽培条件下的枣(p0.05),而酸枣的叶脉密度(7.14 mm·mm~(-2))显著高于栽培条件下的枣,表现出很高的生态适应性。并且,枣叶脉序特征指标的变异系数范围(15.24%~74.69%)大于酸枣(20.37%~52.84%)。因此,枣和酸枣可以通过权衡叶脉序指标之间的关系,采取不同的适应策略。酸枣相比枣,更倾向于选择高叶脉密度、低网眼面积、低节点数的适应策略。对陕北样品聚类分析,在相似系数为1.8时,分为I、II两大类群;对黄土高原丘陵区的样品聚类分析,在1.69时,分为I、II两大类群,分别为酸枣和枣,过渡型在两个类群中都有。说明酸枣经过渡型向枣的演化,也说明叶脉序可以区分枣和酸枣。而栽培枣被分为4个类群,相似系数为1.29,种间结构较为复杂,是由长期的人工选择和营养繁殖模式所决定。  相似文献

The phytotoxic activity of pyriftalid ([RS]‐7‐[4,6‐dimethoxypyrimidin‐2‐ylthio]‐3‐methyl‐2‐benzofuran‐1[3H]‐one) on barnyard grass (Echinochloa oryzoides) seedlings emerging from various depths in the soil was investigated in relation to its behavior in the soil. The growth of the barnyard grass seedlings in the soil mixed with pyriftalid was inhibited, depending on the concentration of the herbicide in the soil water but not on the amount in the total soil. A topmost pyriftalid‐treated layer was formed by applying the herbicide to the soil surface under water‐leakage conditions. The concentration of pyriftalid in the soil water and the amount that was adsorbed on the soil solid decreased with time, but the decrease was more marked in the pyriftalid concentration in the soil water than in the amount that was adsorbed on the soil solid. The emergence time of barnyard grass in the soil was faster in the seeds that were located in the shallower soil layer, compared to the deeper soil layer. The growth inhibition of the barnyard grass seedlings emerging from the shallower soil layer was greater than that of the barnyard grass seedlings emerging from the deeper soil layer after the soil surface application of pyriftalid. It is suggested that the emergence timing from the different soil depths is an important factor affecting the herbicidal activity of pyriftalid when it is applied to the soil surface under paddy field conditions.  相似文献

An annual Echinochloa with plagiotropic tillers (semi‐erect type) was found on a paddy levee in Miyagi prefecture in Japan. This semi‐erect type had tetraploid chromosome numbers (2n = 36) and would be expected to be E. oryzicola. However, its appearance was distinct from that of E. oryzicola. To collect seed samples and clarify its distribution and habitat, exploration and collection surveys were carried out in the northern part of Honshu, the main island of Japan in 2014, 2017, and 2018. Thirty‐two populations that were assumed to be the semi‐erect type were found and their mature seeds were collected. Based on the results of chromosome counts and growth form analyses, all of them were confirmed to be the semi‐erect type. The 32 populations were distributed in the prefectures of Aomori, Iwate, Akita, Miyagi, Yamagata, Fukushima, and Niigata, and located in paddy fields, abandoned paddy fields, paddy levees, roadsides, vacant land, and scree slopes. Our surveys indicated that the semi‐erect type grew in wet and dry disturbed habitats at an early stage of secondary succession including paddy fields in the northern part of the main island of Japan.  相似文献

In the alpine region of the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau four indigenous perennial grass species Bromus inermis (BI), Elymus sibiricus (ES), Elymus nutans (EN) and Agropyron cristatum (AC) were cultivated as three mixtures with different compositions and seeding rates, BI + EN, BI + ES + AC and BI + ES + EN + AC. From 1998 to 2001 there were three different weeding treatments: never weeded (CK); weeded on three occasions in the first year (1-y) and weeded on three occasions in both the first and second year (2-y) and their effect of grass combination and interactions on sward productivity and persistence was measured. Intense competitive interference by weedy annuals reduced dry matter (DM) yield of the swards. Grass combination significantly affected sward DM yields, leaf area index (LAI) and foliar canopy cover and also species composition DM and LAI, and species plant cover. Interaction between weeding treatments and grass combination was significant for sward DM yield, LAI and canopy cover, but not on species composition for DM, LAI or species plant cover. Grass mixture BI + ES + EN + AC gave the highest sward DM yield and LAI for both weeding and non-weeding treatments. Species ES and EN were competitively superior to the others. Annual weedy forbs must be controlled to obtain productive and stable mixtures of perennial grasses, and germination/emergence is the most important time for removal. Weeding three times (late May, late June and mid-July) in the establishment year is enough to maintain the production and persistence of perennial grass mixtures in the following growing seasons. Extra weeding three times in the second growing year makes only a slight improvement in productivity.  相似文献

A preliminary analysis demonstrated that the powdery mildew fungus infecting Syringa spp. (lilacs) in different parts of the world is divided into two groups (S-type and K-type) based on the nucleotide sequences of the rDNA ITS regions. In spite of the marked genetic differences (only c . 94% similarity between ITS types), fungi belonging to these two ITS groups are difficult to distinguish based on morphological characteristics. To determine their geographical distribution, ITS haplotypes were determined for a total of 139 powdery mildew specimens collected in Asia, Europe and North and South America between 1977 and 2005. Curiously, until 1990, only the S-type was found in Europe, whilst the K-type prevailed in East Asia. The first European specimen belonging to the K-type was collected in Ukraine in 1991. Other European K-type samples were collected in Lithuania and Switzerland in 2000, and in other countries after 2002. The incidence of the S-type decreased rapidly in Europe after the 1990s. This result strongly suggests that the K-type was introduced to Europe from East Asia in the 1990s and expanded from Eastern Europe westward, replacing the S-type present on the European lilacs. The K-type produces abundant chasmothecia (sexual fruiting bodies), whereas chasmothecia on the S-type are rare in Europe and East Asia. It is likely that the recent abundant production of chasmothecia on Syringa spp. in Central Europe is explained by the migration of the K-type to Europe.  相似文献

基于Van Genuchten模型测定土壤水动力学参数,采用定点监测方法,在沟道中不同位置以及对照坡面进行土壤水分观测,分析了延安市典型治沟造地项目沟道造地土壤水分的时空变异特征,阐明治沟造地工程对沟道土壤水分的影响。结果表明:(1)土壤水力学参数在沟道土层深度为40 cm附近发生了显著改变,0~40 cm土层土壤容重1.12 ~1.25 g·cm-3,导水率达到40 mm·min-1以上,入渗能力强,同时饱和含水率较大,40 cm以下土层土壤容重在1.5 g·cm-3左右,导水率在1.25~1.41 mm·min-1之间,入渗速率明显减小;(2)沟道土壤水分显著大于对照坡面,其季节变化稍滞后于降水的季节变化,整个生长季在15.76%~21.91%间波动,高出对照坡面5%左右,垂直分布随土层深度的增加而增加,表层最低,为15.07%,160 cm土层最高,为22.84% ,深层土壤含水量优势更加显著;沟道土壤水分变异系数在0.131~0.234之间,相比较坡面,沟道表层以下土壤水分存在较强的空间异质性,100 cm以下土层变异系数在0.2左右,土壤水分变化活跃;(3)沟口土壤含水量显著高于沟头,土层深度40 cm以下的土壤含水量长期达到甚至超过田间持水量。通过治沟造地工程水分综合调控体系,沟道能够为作物生长提供水分充足的生境条件,提高水资源利用效率的同时改善农业生态环境。  相似文献

To test the hypothesis that isolates of Phytophthora infestans attacking wild Solanaceae exhibit specialization for particular host species, 115 isolates of P. infestans were collected from cultivated potatoes, nontuber-bearing Solanum spp. of the Basarthrum section and wild tomatoes from five departments in the northern and central highlands of Peru, and characterized using several neutral markers. All isolates belonged to one of four clonal lineages described previously in Peru: EC-1, US-1, PE-3 and PE-7. There was a strong association of three lineages with host species: PE-3 was only isolated from cultivated potato, while PE-7 and US-1 were only isolated from nontuber-bearing Solanum spp. ( Basarthrum section and wild tomatoes). EC-1 was isolated from all host groups sampled. A subset ( n  = 74) of the isolates was evaluated for metalaxyl resistance. High levels of resistance were found almost exclusively in EC-1 and PE-3, while US-1 and PE-7 isolates were generally sensitive. In a detached-leaf assay for lesion diameter using five EC-1 isolates from S. caripense and seven EC-1 isolates from cultivated potato, there was a significant interaction between isolate origin and inoculated host, caused by higher aggressiveness of EC-1 from cultivated potato on its host of origin. In a comparison of EC-1 (seven isolates from cultivated potato) and US-1 (three isolates from S. caripense ), each pathogen lineage was more aggressive on its original host species, causing a highly significant interaction between isolate origin and inoculated host. Wild tomatoes and nontuber-bearing Solanum spp. harbour several pathogen lineages in Peru and could serve as reservoirs of inoculum that might contribute to epidemics on potato or tomato. Potential risks associated with the use of wild Solanum hosts as sources of resistance to P. infestans are discussed .  相似文献

基于吴起县1950~2005年的统计和调查资料,分析了吴起县1950~2005年50多年来耕地数量变化的过程,利用主成分分析和多元线性回归方法初步探讨了1990~2005年间耕地数量变化的主要驱动因子.研究表明:50多年来,吴起县耕地数量总体上经历了快速减少、震荡波动、急剧增加和持续缓慢减少四个阶段,耕地总量减幅达39.6%;人均耕地面积减少31.7%,总体上呈明显的下降趋势;社会经济发展、人口压力、农业科技进步和政策等因素构成了耕地数量变化的主要驱动因子.  相似文献

基于关中地区公元900-1199年的历史文献资料,采用旱涝等级和比值法对关中地区中世纪的降水变化进行了分析。研究结果表明:在400年间,不同程度的干旱事件共发生169次,占总年数的42.25%,水涝事件发生83次,占总年数的20.75%,干旱是该时期气候的大背景。除此之外,作者还对研究区公元800-1199年的旱涝等级序列进行线性拟合和10年滑动平均分析,结果表明本区的干旱化过程自10世纪初开始,而公元856年为湿润期向干旱期的转折点。这次干旱过程也得到了来自黄土地层记录和其他研究的支持。  相似文献

 柑橘衰退病毒(Citrus tristeza virus,CTV)组群自然条件下存在株系分化现象。本研究利用RT-PCR技术扩增、克隆了来自我国不同地区的21个柑橘衰退病毒分离物的5'端A、F变异区。通过分析发现,不同来源的各分离物在5'端A、F区存在较大的变异。21个分离物A区序列相似性最低为85.8%,最高可达99.8%,平均为95.9%;与GenBank中9个代表性株系的平均相似性为84.2%。F区序列相似性较A区高,为98.0%;相似性最低为94.3%,最高达99.1%。结果显示不同来源的CTV分离物5'端序列A、F区变异较大。  相似文献

Moniliophthora perniciosa, causal agent of witches’ broom disease in cacao plantations in South America and the Caribbean Islands, has co‐evolved with its host cacao, but the pathogen has also emerged in many solanaceous hosts in Brazil, including economically important food crops and wild species. This study was carried out to: (i) determine the existence of host subpopulations of M. perniciosa in Brazil; (ii) estimate gene and genotypic diversity of M. perniciosa host subpopulations infecting solanaceous hosts in southeastern Bahia and Minas Gerais states, Brazil; and (iii) estimate the amount and directionality of historical migration of M. perniciosa subpopulations. Up to 203 M. perniciosa isolates collected from solanaceous hosts with symptoms from Bahia and Minas Gerais states in Brazil and from Theobroma spp. (cacao) and Herrania spp. were characterized with 11 microsatellite markers. Factorial correspondence analyses, minimum‐spanning network and Bayesian clustering revealed genetic clusters associated with their host of origin. Significant subpopulation differentiation was evident (ΦST = 0.30,  0.05) among M. perniciosa host subpopulations. Most of the multilocus microsatellite genotypes (MLMGs) were host‐specific, with few MLMGs shared among subpopulations. Pairwise comparisons among M. perniciosa host subpopulations were significant, except between jurubeba (Solanum paniculatum) and cultivated solanaceous subpopulations. The combined analyses rejected the null hypothesis that M. perniciosa in Brazil is a single genetic population not structured by host. These findings support a scenario of introduction and subsequent adaptation to solanaceous hosts that should be taken into consideration to improve mitigation and management of M. perniciosa.  相似文献

 50 isolates of Phytophthora infestans potato plants were collected and tested with 11 monogene R1-R11 of potato late blight differential host in Qinghai province from 2006 to 2007.The results showed that there were 15 races in the Haidong Region of Qinghai province and the dominant race was race 3.4.10 with frequency of 36.0%.They were distributed in all collection areas.Race 3.10 with frequency of 16.0% was distributed in Huzu,Ledu,Huangyuan,Datong and Ping'an.Race 3 with frequency of 10.0% was distributed in Huzhu,Xunhua,Huangyuan and Xining.  相似文献

为了提升和保育辽西半干旱区农田土壤质量,采用盆栽试验的方式探讨了不同处理方式、不同用量玉米秸秆还田对土壤养分含量的影响。结果表明,秸秆还田后,其土壤含水量比对照组提高了3%~7%;有机质含量比对照组提高幅度为1.9%~19%;全氮含量比对照组提高幅度为0.7%~14.4%;速效磷含量比对照组提高了2.51~14.75 mg/kg;速效钾含量比对照组提高了7.33~188.07 mg/kg;碱解氮含量比对照组提高了8.46mg/kg;净光合速率比对照组提高了3~11.03 CO2μmol/(m2.s);秸秆还田可以缓解土壤碱化。  相似文献
