南京口岸每年要从国外进口大批的冷冻猪副、鸡副产品，这些猪副、鸡副产品一部分在定点加工企业冷库贮存、熟制后销售，一部分随即在市场销售。２０００年６月～９月，南京口岸共从美国进口 ２５批共７３３ ５００ ｋｇ的冷冻猪副、鸡副产品，我们对进口的冷冻猪副、鸡副产品批批进行感官检查和新鲜度即挥发性盐基氮（ＴＶＢＮ）检验，感官检验为：色泽正常、肉质新鲜、放血良好、无血污、无杂质、无异味、无冰霜、无风干、冷冻良好。 为进一步了解和控制进口美国的冷冻猪副、鸡副产品新鲜度，根据国家的规定，我们对进口美国冻猪副、鸡副产…     

A review of toxoplasmosis of animals in the U.S.S.R

Information on the serologic and parasitologic prevalence of Toxoplasma gondii infection in domestic and wild animals of the U.S.S.R. is reviewed. Although complement-fixing antibodies to T. gondii were widely prevalent in animals, little information is available on the presence of viable T. gondii in tissues of animals. Reports of epizootics in which T. gondii was suspected to be the causative agent of toxoplasmosis are summarized. Also, the strict economic impact of toxoplasmosis on agriculture in the U.S.S.R. needs evaluation.     

A study of the predominant genotypes of bovid herpesvirus 1 found in the U.K

The genotypic classification of 84 U.K. isolates of bovid herpesvirus 1 was determined by the restriction endonuclease technique. Preliminary studies with six enzymes (EcoRI, HindIII, HpaI, BamHI, PstI and BstEII) showed that the principal genotypic variants, including the live vaccine strains used in the U.K., could be identified from the digestion patterns with just two endonucleases: HindIII and HpaI. Isolates from the 1960s were all categorised as genotype 2b. From 1977 onwards, genotype 1 has predominated in mainland Britain, with occasional type 2b isolates. Type 2b viruses were isolated from both respiratory and genital disease cases. There was no evidence of genotypes 2a or 3 in the U.K.     

中美禽类产品兽药残留限量标准对比研究

通过对我国和美国禽类产品兽药残留限量标准进行对比研究,结果表明:美国有13种兽药的限量标准严于我国标准,有11种兽药美国有限量要求,我国没有规定.根据比较结果建议对我国无规定而国外有要求的兽药提前进行评估,建立残留检测标准,对美国标准严于我国的13种兽药指标进行修订或复审.     

Veterinary drugs: The beginnings of legislative control in the U.K.

There is evidence of the legislative control of medicines in some countries from the earliest historical times. This did not occur in Britain for human medicines until the 16th century and even later for veterinary medicines. Controls on the safety, quality, efficacy and supply of all medicines in Britain are now merged in the Medicines Act (1968).

美国养禽业促进计划(NPIP)对我国动物疫病防控工作的借鉴性

动物疫病一直是困扰我国畜牧业发展的首要难题。这突出表现在以下两个方面：(一)我国畜牧业在疫病防治上成本非常高，以养禽业为例，疫病防治成本约占养禽总成本额10％，是发达国家的10倍左右；(二)动物疫病严重阻碍我国畜禽产品出口，以养禽业为例，我国禽产品总量约占世界的1／4，但我国禽产品出口却只占世界禽产品出口总额的2％，疫病是其重要原因之一。

大肠杆菌（E.coff）是一种革兰氏阴性菌,能导致家禽爆发多种不同症状的疾病。由这种大肠扦菌细菌引发的疾病统称为大肠杆菌病,并且可感染所有种类和所有年龄段的家禽。大肠杆细菌到处存在,无论在什么情况下均能从动物的龚便中分离出来。与大肠杆菌有关的疾病继续处于或靠近于肉鸡、火鸡和蛋鸡重要疾病名录的前列。本文将对各种疾病的并发症状及其控制措施进行介绍。
