Phosphorus (P) digestibility represents complex digestive and metabolic phenomena which are embodied in a unique coefficient. A dynamic mathematical model, based on mechanistic concepts is developed to improve pig feed formulation systems. In this first step, it simulates the fate of different forms of dietary P in the stomach. The model also accounts for dietary calcium (Ca) content, gastric transit time and pH. It simulates consistently the inorganic P released at the exit end of the stomach. However, this model has to be challenged by external data.  相似文献

The objective of the study was to revise a model of P kinetics proposed by Vitti et al. (2000) and extend its use to study Ca flows in growing sheep. Twelve Santa Ines male sheep, 8 mo of age, with average BW of 31.6 kg were injected with 32P and 45Ca to trace the movement of P and Ca in the body. The original model had 4 pools representing the gut, plasma, soft tissues, and bone. In the revised model, instantaneous values rather than averages for pool derivatives were incorporated, and the model was extended to represent absorption and excretion of phytate P explicitly. The amendments improved the model, resulting in higher flows between plasma and bone than between plasma and tissue and, therefore, a more accurate representation of P metabolism. Phosphorus and Ca metabolism were then assessed conjointly using the revised model. The results showed that P and Ca metabolism are closely related as evidenced by the ratio of these minerals in the bidirectional flows between plasma and bone and between plasma and tissue. Phytate P digestibility was 47%, and P retention was negative (-1.4 g/d), suggesting that a feed characteristic impaired P utilization and led to P deficiency. The revised model provides an improved prediction of P and Ca metabolism that can be used to assess mineral requirements and to estimate losses to the environment.  相似文献

选择9只装有永久性瘤胃瘘管的崂山奶山羊,采用单因子随机分组试验设计,试验分为3组,即低磷日粮组(LPD组,0.29%)、中磷日粮组(MPD组,0.41%)和高磷日粮组(HPD组,0.59%),每组3只。3组日粮粗蛋白水平相同(CP=11.6%,DM)均配制成全混合颗粒料型饲喂,采用全收粪尿法进行消化代谢试验。结果表明,LPD组的干物质采食量、进食氮、乳氮、可消化氮、沉积氮和沉积氮/代谢体质量显著高于MPD组,尿氮显著高于HPD组,排出氮显著高于MPD组和HPD组,LPD组尿中尿素氮含量显著低于MPD组和HPD组;其他指标各组间差异不显著。在不同时间点LPD组、MPD组和HPD组间崂山奶山羊瘤胃液磷、尿素氮含量和pH差异不显著,但随试验羊采食时间的延长有逐渐下降的趋势。在满足动物磷需要量的条件下,氮消化代谢与其摄入量和来源有关,不受日粮磷源和磷水平的影响。  相似文献

为了分析微电流 (2 0微安 )对骨折山羊血液中钙磷代谢的影响 ,探讨微电流促进动物骨折愈合的可能机制 ,将 2 0只健康山羊随机分为试验组 (骨折处通入 2 0微安电流 )和对照组 ,人工造成非开放性全骨折 ,于骨折前后 7次测定血钙和血磷。结果 ,两组山羊在骨折后均呈现血钙下降、血磷上升的趋势 (P <0 0 1)。推断骨折后 2 0d ,两组之间血磷差异显著 (P <0 0 5 )。微电流能够影响山羊钙磷代谢。  相似文献

试验研究不同水平HMBi对生绒期辽宁绒山羊氮、硫代谢的影响。采用4×4拉丁方设计,选择4只辽宁绒山羊羯羊为试验动物,配制HMBi水平为0%(对照日粮)、0.85%(试验日粮A)、1.27%(试验日粮B)、1.70%(试验日粮C)的4种日粮,试验分4个时期进行。试验期每日收集粪、尿,测定其中的氮、硫。试验结果显示,生绒期辽宁绒山羊日粮中添加HMBi能显著减少粪氮和尿氮,增加沉积氮和可消化氮(P<0.05);添加HMBi粪硫和尿硫显著增加,但可消化硫、沉积硫亦显著增加(P<0.05);添加HMBi能显著提高氮、硫的表观消化率、总利用率及生物学价值(P<0.05)。综合分析认为,生绒期辽宁绒山羊日粮中HMBi的适宜添加量为1.27%。  相似文献

The purpose of this study was to investigate, if different Ca concentrations in diets have an influence on bone mineral metabolism in growing goats and sheep. Twelve growing goats and sheep were divided into two groups. The two control groups received 6.1 g calcium/day (nG) and 6.7 g calcium/day (nS) for goat and sheep respectively. The other two groups were fed 17.7 g calcium/day (hG) and 18.5 g calcium/day (hS). Blood samples were taken 2, 4, 5 and 6 weeks after the start of the experiment. In serum Ca and vitamin D were determined and bone metabolism was measured using crosslinked carboxyterminal telopeptide of type I collagen (ICTP), crosslaps, bone-specific alkaline phosphatase and osteocalcin (OC). Bone mineral density (BMD) was quantified using quantitative computed tomography. Bone resorption marker (ICTP) concentrations were significantly different between both groups control sheep/control goat and hS/hG, but no significant differences were evident in the different feeding groups within one species. OC concentrations showed a similar course to ICTP. The goats had significantly higher concentrations compared with sheep. The 1,25 dihydroxyvitamin D (VITD) concentrations in both hCa groups were significantly lower than in the control groups. BMD increased in the hCa groups compared with the control groups with the time, but significant differences were only evident in sheep in week 2. The hCa diet did not induce differences between the groups within one species for all bone markers. The control Ca diet seems to improve the active Ca absorption via VITD whereas the hCa diet leads to a higher amount of Ca apparently digested. Higher BMD was only observed in group hS compared with nS.  相似文献

The relative bioavailability of P in 5 sources of inorganic P was determined using growing pigs. The 5 sources of inorganic P were dicalcium phosphate (DCP), monocalcium phosphate (MCP) containing 50% MCP (MCP50), MCP containing 70% MCP (MCP70), MCP containing 100% MCP (MCP100), and monosodium phosphate (MSP). A total of 11 diets were formulated. The basal diet was formulated to contain 0.10% P, and 10 additional diets were formulated by adding 0.07 or 0.14% P from each of the 5 P sources to the basal diet. Growing pigs (n = 44; initial BW: 16.8 ± 4.3 kg) were individually housed and randomly allotted to the 11 experimental diets. Feed was provided on an ad libitum basis throughout the 28-d experimental period. At the conclusion of the experiment, all pigs were killed, and 4 bones (i.e., the third and fourth metacarpals on both front feet) were harvested. Bone-breaking strength, bone ash, and Ca and P concentrations were determined. The concentration of bone ash increased (P < 0.05) as MCP50, MCP70, MCP100, or MSP were added to the basal diet, and the concentration of bone P also increased (P < 0.05) as MCP70, MCP100, or MSP were added to the basal diet. The relative bioavailability of P in each of the feed phosphates was determined using slope ratio methodologies based on breaking strength, and expressed relative to MSP. The slope of the regression line for diets containing MSP or MCP100 was steeper (P < 0.05) than the slope for pigs fed the diet containing DCP, but not different (P > 0.05) from that of pigs fed diets supplemented with MCP50 or MCP70. In conclusion, P in MSP and MCP100 is more bioavailable than P in DCP, but there were no differences within MCP sources.  相似文献

文章旨在研究日粮降低粗蛋白质、钙和磷水平,同时添加苯甲酸对仔猪生长性能、钙磷代谢的影响。试验采用2×2多因素试验设计,选择平均体重接近12 kg的保育猪500头,分为4组,每组5个重复,每个重复25头猪。试验日粮共4个,即低水平日粮(低蛋白、低钙磷)组,高水平日粮组(高蛋白、高钙磷),低水平日粮+15 g/kg苯甲酸组,高水平日粮+15 g/kg苯甲酸组。低水平日粮组较高水平日粮组显著降低了仔猪的生长速度(P <0.05),使25 kg阶段仔猪的采食量显著降低了13%(P <0.05)。低水平日粮添加苯甲酸较较高水平日粮组显著降低了25和40 kg猪尿液pH(P <0.05)。低水平组显著降低了钙、磷摄入量及粪中钙磷含量(P <0.05)。日粮添加苯甲酸可以显著降低尿钙排泄量和提高尿磷排泄量(P <0.05)。低水平日粮显著提高了血清钙水平及碱性磷酸酶活性(P <0.05)。低水平日粮组显著降低了血清磷水平(P <0.05),而高水平日粮+苯甲酸组较高水平日粮组显著提高了血清碱性磷酸酶活力和血清磷水平(P <0.05)。日粮添加苯甲酸可以影响磷的消化率,提供仔猪生长早期血清碱性磷酸酶活力,对生长后期猪的骨矿化无显著影响。  相似文献

The digestibility, the N balance, the rate of protein synthesis and other parameters, characterising the protein metabolism in dependence on live weight, protein- and energy supply are estimated on Wistar rats (4-5 animals/group). These experiments were done in 5 alternating consecutive growth and energy maintenance periods at 4 different levels of protein (6, 10, 17, 26% CP) during the live weight period of 70 to 230 g. The rate of protein synthesis was calculated from the course of renale 15N excretion by means of the end product method after giving a single dose of a mixture of 17 15N labelled amino acids. N deposition, rate of protein synthesis and flux rate increased with the protein level of the ration. During maintenance these data were much lower, but showed the same dependence on the protein level. The absolute protein synthesis (g/d) increased up to the live weight of 130... 180 g and decreased afterwards according to the age. The reutilization rate varied between 44 and 87% and decreased with increasing dietary protein level by 27% and during proceeding age by 8 ... 12%. In contrast to the absolute metabolism rates (g/d) the fractional rates (%/d) clearly decreased with the age of the animals. The stimulation of these rates by the dietary protein level resembled that for the absolute rates of synthesis. The protein deposition showed the typical course of a growing curve according to the N intake and the protein synthesis showed practically the same course but on a higher level. The break down remained constantly (approximately 140 mg N/d) up to an N intake of about 360 mg and afterwards it increased too.  相似文献

选用4只装有瘤胃和十二指肠近端瘘管的2周岁辽宁绒山羊羯羊,按4×4拉丁方设计,系统研究了4种不同日粮硫水平(0.11%、0.17%、0.23%、0.29%)对生绒期绒山羊氮硫代谢影响.结果表明:0.23%硫水平日粮的进食氮、可消化氮、沉积氮、氮的表观消化率均显著高于0.11%、0.17%和0.29%硫水平日粮(P<0.05);0.17%、0.23%、0.29%硫水平日粮的进食硫、可消化硫、沉积硫均显著高于0.11%硫水平日粮(P<0.05).因此本试验认为0.23%(N:S为7.39:1)为辽宁绒山羊生绒期日粮最适硫水平.  相似文献

Microbial phytase has been used to reduce P excretion from swine to mitigate environmental pollution. The objective of the study was to quantify the effect of feeding a low-P phytase-supplemented diet on growth and P utilization in growing pigs using mathematical models. A total of 20 weaned piglets (BW = 6.5 kg) housed in metabolism cages were randomly assigned to a standard diet (STD) or P-amended diet containing reduced P content and supplemented with phytase (AMN) with 10 pigs/diet. Body weight and feed consumption were recorded weekly so complete growth and cumulative P intake (cPI) curves could be modeled. A function with fixed point of inflexion (Gompertz) and a variable point of inflexion (generalized Michaelis-Menten) were considered in determining bioequivalence by analyzing BW vs. age relationships, whereas the monomolecular function was used to describe BW vs. cPI. All functions were incorporated into a nonlinear mixed effects model, and a first-order autoregressive correlation structure was implemented to take into account repeated measures. There was no difference between the 2 groups in final BW when the Gompertz equation was fitted (176 vs. 178 kg with SE of 7 kg for the STD and AMN, respectively) or the rate parameter (0.0140 vs. 0.0139 with SE of 0.0004 for the STD and AMN, respectively). The generalized Michaelis-Menten equation also showed a similar trend. When BW was expressed as a function of cPI the derivative with respect to cPI represented P efficiency, so it was possible to analyze the expected difference of the 2 diets in using P for BW gain and express it as a continuous function of cPI. The analysis showed through the entire growth period the difference in P efficiency was different from zero. On average, 56 g of supplemented inorganic P was consumed by a pig fed the AMN to reach market weight. In contrast, 309 g of supplemented inorganic P was consumed by the group fed the STD to reach similar BW. It would depend on other factors, but feeding pigs the AMN can result in economic benefit. Pigs fed the AMN excreted 19% less P compared with those fed the STD. In conclusion, nonlinear mixed model analysis (with repeated measures) was suitable for growth and efficiency analysis and showed that pigs fed the AMN consumed less than 20% of the inorganic P and performed as well as those fed the traditional inorganic P supplemented diet. The implications for mitigating P pollution, especially in areas where P loading is already problematic, are substantial.  相似文献

A balance study was performed in order to quantify the effect of continuously increased phosphorus (P) intake on faecal and urinary P excretion. The aim was to quantify the level of intake where regulatory P excretion becomes relevant for comparative digestibility measurements on P, and when the pig adapts its urinary P excretion to increased P intake. Phosphorus intake of growing pigs was continuously increased on a daily basis starting at a marginal level and P excretion via faeces and urine was continuously followed for 92 days. Two semi-synthetic diets were prepared with different proportions of Na2HPO4 resulting in 2.4 (diet 1) and 6.3 (diet 2) g P/kg DM. Concentration of Ca was adapted to achieve a Ca supply approximately 3.1 fold the digestible P supply. Six castrated male crossbred pigs (31 kg BW) were kept individually in metabolism crates after they had undergone a 14 d P depletion period during which they were fed diet 1 solely. Pigs received 1.04kg of diet 1 per day throughout the experiment, and each day the amount of feed and P supplied to pigs from diet 2 was increased by 12 g and 69 mg, respectively. ME supply was approximately 2.4 fold maintenance and average daily BW gain of pigs during the entire experiment was 690 +/- 30 g. While intake increased linearly, faecal excretion of P and Ca increased non-linearly and could be best described by third order polynomial functions. The proportion of ingested P not excreted via faeces followed a quadratic type of curve with a maximum of 81% at 25 days on experiment and P intake of 4.0 g/d. Thereafter, the proportion decreased continuously. The digestibility of P from diet 2, determined by the slope ratio technique, was constant and not affected by P intake up to a P intake of 5 g/d. Renal P excretion did not exceed inevitable losses until day 60 and increased exponentially thereafter when body P reserves were restored. It is concluded, that an adaptation to surplus P supply occurred earlier on the intestinal than on the renal level. While faecal P excretion appeared regulated depending on the actual requirement for P retention, the regulation via urine depended on the P status of the pig. Once the renal P excretion of growing pigs exceeds a level of 25 mg/d, intake of digestible P cannot be regarded sufficiently low to measure P digestibility as a capacity of the feedstuff.  相似文献

Many studies have highlighted concerns over current methods of determining endogenous P losses and P requirements in growing pigs. Therefore, a database containing observations on 350 pigs was assembled from various studies. Four functions for analyzing P balance data were considered: 1) a straight line, 2) a diminishing returns function (monomolecular), 3) a sigmoidal function with a fixed point of inflection (Gompertz), and 4) a sigmoidal function with a flexible point of inflection (Richards). The nonlinear functions were specifically reparameterized to assign biological meaning to the parameters. Meta-analysis of the data was conducted to estimate endogenous P excretion, maintenance requirement, and efficiency of utilization. Phosphorus retention was regressed against either available P intake or total P intake [all variables scaled by metabolic BW (BW(0.75))]. There was evidence of non-linearity in the data, and the monomolecular function provided the best fit to the data. The Richards equation did not fit the data well and appeared overparameterized. Estimates of endogenous P excretion of 14 and 17 mg/kg of BW(0.75) x d based on available and total P analysis, respectively, were predicted by the monomolecular equation, which were within the range reported in the literature. Maintenance requirement values of 15 mg of available P/kg of BW(0.75) x d and 37 mg of total P/kg of BW(0.75) x d were obtained, based on the monomolecular equation. Average efficiencies of conversion of dietary P to retained P were 65 and 36% for available and total P, respectively, with greater efficiency values calculated for low P intakes. Although the monomolecular equation fitted the data best, more observations at high P intakes/kg of BW(0.75) are required to determine conclusively whether P retention scaled by metabolic BW is linearly related to available or total P intake.  相似文献

1. Calcium and phosphorus requirements of growing female Japanese quail during 4 and 5 weeks of age were estimated in a 4 × 3 factorial experiment comprising 5, 7, 9 and 11 g calcium and 5, 6 and 7 g phosphorus/kg diet.

2. Responses in weight gain, bone ash, food intake and food : gain ratio showed no significant differences due to varying dietary calcium and phosphorus concentrations.

Absorption and metabolism of alpha-ketoglutarate in growing pigs   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
The portal appearance of enteral alpha-ketoglutarate (AKG) and the effect of enteral or parenteral AKG on portal net appearance of glucose, short-chain fatty acids, alanine, aspartate, glutamate, glutamine, proline and insulin were investigated in three growing pigs. During the experimental samplings the pigs were fed hourly with a standard feed mix with 5% glucose (control), 5% AKG (enteral) or no feed additive but continuously infused with AKG into the mesenteric vein in an amount equivalent to 5% of feed intake (parenteral). The arterial plasma concentration of AKG increased (p < 0.05) following both enteral (from 16+/-2 to 22+/-3 micromol/l) and parenteral (from 16+/-2 to 425+/-27 micromol/l) administration of AKG. With the enteral treatment 4+/-1% of the AKG could be accounted for in the portal vein, however, with the parenteral treatment 86+/-5% could be accounted for in the portal vein. The arterial plasma concentration of proline increased (p < 0.05) with the enteral treatment (365 +/- 3 to 443 +/- 39 micromol/l), but was not affected by the parenteral treatment (p > 0.10). The plasma concentration glutamine decreased (p < 0.05) with the parenteral treatment only. The portal net appearance of proline showed a numerical increase with the enteral treatment but no other affects on arterial concentrations or portal net appearance were found. A small accompanying study showed that only small amounts of enteral AKG was present in the small intestine. It was therefore concluded that enteral AKG has a low availability to peripheral tissues either because it is absorbed and metabolized in the stomach and duodenum or because it is metabolized by microbes in the stomach. The study showed that AKG is metabolized differently following enteral and parenteral application in growing pigs.  相似文献

An experiment was conducted to test the hypothesis that the dietary inclusion rate of P does not influence the digestibility of P. The experiment was conducted at 4 experiment stations where the same protocol was followed. A total of 60 growing pigs (initial BW: 22.22 +/- 2.13 kg) were allotted to 6 dietary treatments with 10 replications per treatment. All pigs were placed in metabolism cages that allowed for the total, but separate, collection of urine and fecal materials. Six diets were formulated. The basal diet was based on corn (54.2%), soybean meal (20%), and cornstarch. No inorganic P was used, and the total concentration of P in the basal diet was calculated to be 0.29%. Five additional diets were formulated by adding monocalcium phosphate (MCP) in increments of 0.34% to the basal diet and thereby creating diets that were calculated to contain 0.36, 0.43, 0.50, 0.57, and 0.64% total P, respectively. Ground limestone was also added to these diets to maintain a calculated Ca:P ratio of 1.2:1. The balances of Ca and P and the apparent total tract digestibility (ATTD) of Ca and P were calculated for each diet. The contribution of P from the basal diet was then subtracted from the MCP-containing diets to calculate the balance and ATTD for P in MCP. Results of the experiment showed that the absorption and retention of both Ca and P increased (linear, P < 0.001) with increasing concentrations of Ca and P in the diet. The ATTD for Ca ranged from 62.3 to 66.8% and was not influenced by the dietary concentration of Ca. However, the ATTD for P increased from 38.4 to 65.2% as increasing levels of MCP were added to the diet (linear, P < 0.001). Increasing P intake from MCP increased (linear, P < 0.001) the excretion of P in the feces, but the quantity of P that was absorbed and retained also increased (linear, P < 0.001) as more P from MCP was added to the diet. When measured as a percentage of P intake, P retention was not influenced by the dietary P concentration. The ATTD for P in MCP ranged from 79.5 to 88.5% and was not affected by the concentration of P in the diet. Results of this experiment demonstrated that the digestibility and absorption of P from MCP are not influenced by the dietary concentration of P.  相似文献
