In this paper, a new high - strength worm gearing, named'rolling cone enveloping hourglass worm gearing' is proposed. With such a new type of worm gearing, the motion form between meshing tooth surfaces is changed in nature. A systematic theoretical study. a lot of numerical calculations and parameter analyses have been done. Based on these analyses,the optimum design of worm gearing is obtained. It is shown that this worm gearing possesses the virtues of high efficiency, large load capacity, long life -span and easy meanufacture.  相似文献

The contact analysis on the double enveloping hourglass worm gearing is very important to control its efficient contact zone and contact quality. Nevertheless, current meshing analysis under the rigid condition cannot really reflect its tooth-surface contact. In this paper, the contact Finite Element Method is used to analyze the tooth contact of double enveloping hourglass worm gearing under the manufacturing error and the elastic deformation caused by the load. The load sharing among the contact tooth pairs and variations of contact zone are investigated. As compared with the result of rigid analysis, the contact zone is obviously shifted. This analysis method can provide a base for the conjugating control of the double enveloping hourglass worm gearing.  相似文献

The full name of variable tooth thickness plane worm gear transmission is. Backlash adjustable plane worm gear with variable tooth thickness enveloping worm transmission, which is a new kind of accurate power transmission that is intervenient between traditional motion transmission and power transmission. Tooth surface equations of the variable tooth thickness plane worm gear transmission are deduced based on the theory of engagement. Basing on the result, the authors create a finite analysis model of backlash adjustable variable tooth thickness plane enveloping worm with perfect tooth shape by using I-DEAS software, and then has done finite element analysis of backlash adjustable variable tooth thickness plane enveloping worm transmission. Finally, the author drew a conclusion about distribution of principal stress and load distribution between teeth, which offer some references for strength and performance analysis of worm transmission.  相似文献

A method of modifying the double enveloping worm gearing with developable tooth surface has been proposed to reduce the sensibility of the worm gearing to the manufacturing errors. The tooth contact and kinematic precision of the modified worm gearing with manufacturing errors has been investigated by the TCA method. The results show that by the modification, the edge contact resulting from the manufacturing errors is avoided or effectively relieved,and the kinematic error of the worm gearing is obviously reduced.  相似文献

According to the characteristic of contact and lubrication of double enveloping hourglass worm gearing,a simplified contact model that can simulate the lubrication mechanism of coupling effect of squeezing effect and entraining effect of this worm gearing is presented.A simulating test set is designed.The lubrication mechanism of coupling effect of squeezing effect and entraining effect is studied experimently by using this set.And the influences of rotation speed,loading speed and depth of oil pocket on the forming of lubrication film and loading ability between contact surfaces are analyzed.Some beneficial conclusions are obtained.  相似文献

Based on the spatial gearing theory, the mathematical model for working pitch cone design of crossed beveloid gears is created. The formulas to determine the transition from point contact to line contact are derived. The direct and in direct methods for pitch cone design of crossed beveloid gears are proposed. The effects of gearing parameters on the angle between the first principle directions are analyzed. The loaded tooth contact analysis is performed using FEM theory. The conclusion indicates that: the angle between the first principle directions is more sensitive to cone angles than to the helix angle. The increase of the angle between the first principle directions can obtain smaller contact area, higher transmission error and lower mesh stiffness. A practical tooth bearing test is conducted to demonstrate the proposed design procedure and the experimental result compared well with the simulation. For the matching design and optimization of beveloid gears, it has both the theoretical and project practical significance.  相似文献

A new worm driving,i.e. planar internal gear enveloping crown worm driving,is presented. Its mathematical model of meshing functions and teeth surface equations are established basing on the theory of differential geometry and gear mesh. Various types of the driving,the macroscopic meshing performance and the microcosmic meshing performance are analyzed. The results show that the inclination angle of generating plane determines the distribution of contact lines,the planar internal gear primary-enveloping crown worm driving has ideal lubrication property,and the planar internal gear second-enveloping crown worm driving has high loading capacity. The studies are practicably instructive for developing new worm driving with high loading capacity,ideal lubrication and small volume.  相似文献

The photo elastic experiment has been proceeded for verifying the pressure distribution and load sharing. Cone enveloping cylindrical worm in traction machine as instance, theoretical analysis on cylindrical worm transmission has been theoretically analyzed, and efficiency test and load capability test of traction machine with YJ240 cylindrical worm have been done on open power gear experimental instrument. According to the experimental data, it indicates cylindrical worm have some weaknesses on load capability, efficiency, adjustment possibility of tooth backlash and so on. Therefore, on purpose of improving integral performance of traction machine, face worm with variable tooth thickness may be used as primary drive mechanism in traction machine instead of cylindrical worm.  相似文献

To address the problems of low carrying capacity and short life of bearings in current ring reducers, a new type of ring reducer is proposed which consists of a two stepped transmission. One is a planetary transmission, and the other is an N type planetary transmission with a low tooth number difference. Based on the analysis of structural features, the transmission principle, and a transmission load situation, a contact finite element model of the new type of ring reducer is set up, and the stress value and the actual pairs of meshing teeth are derived by calculation. Based on gear modification research theory, the second stage transmission gear pairs of the new reducer are modified on its teeth profiles. Results demonstrate that the load capacity of transmission gear pairs have been enhanced greatly.  相似文献

Hydraulic system pressure, contact surface between grinding roller and materials and grinding roller force of roller mill are analyzed. A new roller pressure calculation method named average surface roller pressure calculation method is proposed,and the corresponding theoretical formula is derived from three different perspectives, including roller pressure numerical calculation, stress and strain of main components and mill power through the calculation of real samples. The average surface roller and traditional average material roller pressure are compared to verify the correctness and accuracy of the proposed method. Design parameters such as the grinding roller structure, material maximum size, layer height and working pressure of the hydraulic system on the influence of roller are analyzed according to the formula of roller pressure. The research results provide theoretical basis for the selection of design parameters and the design calculation of structural strength for roller mill.  相似文献
