为探究不同碳水化合物和蛋白质水平膨化饲料对大规格草鱼生长、体成分、肠道消化酶和血清指标的影响,以初始体质量(398.6±5.9)g的大规格草鱼为研究对象,设置不同碳水化合物/蛋白质水平分别为C31P30、C34P28、C37P26、C40P24、C43P22、C46P20、C49P18的7组膨化饲料,养殖周期为16周。实验结果显示,各饲料组草鱼成活率(SR)差异不显著,随着蛋白质水平的下降、碳水化合物水平的升高,增重率(WGR)呈下降趋势,蛋白质效率(PER)呈升高趋势;肝体比(HSI)、脏体比(VSI)、肠体比(ISI)、肌肉和肝脏粗脂肪(CF)含量均有随饲料碳水化合物水平升高而升高的趋势。随着饲料中碳水化合物水平升高、蛋白质水平下降,各组间草鱼肌肉粗蛋白质(CP)含量无显著差异;肝糖原、肌糖原含量呈升高趋势,饲料中碳水化合物水平分别高于46%和40%时,肝糖原、肌糖原含量显著升高。肠道胰蛋白酶(PRS)和淀粉酶(AMS)活性随饲料中碳水化合物水平的升高呈先下降后升高趋势,脂肪酶(LPS)活性呈升高趋势;血清总胆固醇(TC)、甘油三酯(TG)、低密度脂蛋白(LDL)、高密度脂蛋白(HDL)含量及谷草转氨酶与丙转氨酶(GOT/GPT)比值都随饲料中碳水化合物水平升高和蛋白质水平下降而呈升高的趋势。本实验结果显示:当饲料碳水化合物水平高于37%、蛋白质水平低于26%时,将显著影响草鱼的生长,饲料中高碳水化合物水平将导致鱼体肝体比、脏体比、肠体比以及肌肉和肝脏脂肪含量升高。  相似文献

The study aimed to investigate the effects of formic acid inclusion in abalone diets, which contained ingredients produced from fish processing by-products, and to quantify effects on production performance. Four diets (a commercial reference and iso-nutrient diets containing fish silage oil, unprocessed rainbow trout viscera or shrimp protein hydrolysate) were evaluated both with and without addition of 2 g kg?1 dietary formic acid, thus yielding a total of eight treatments, in feeding trials with cultured South African abalone Haliotis midae. Results indicated that inclusion of unprocessed rainbow trout viscera without formic acid decreased production performance of experimental animals, as evidenced by significantly decreased final animal weight and daily weight gain, and significantly increased feed conversion ratio compared to the iso-nutrient control. The decreased production performance was attributed to decreased feed water stability of the diet incorporating untreated trout viscera. Dietary formic acid supplementation partially mitigated the negative impacts of viscera inclusion on production performance of the experimental animals, as seen in significantly higher final animal weight and daily weight gain, and lower feed conversion ratio when compared to non-formic acid-supplemented, viscera-containing diet. However, no beneficial effects on production performance or water stability were found upon formic acid inclusion in diets not containing trout viscera. In conclusion, dietary formic acid can partially mitigate negative impacts on production performance when unprocessed trout viscera are included in formulated abalone diets by improving feed water stability, but the exact mechanism by which this is achieved was not established.  相似文献

A study was conducted in a recirculating aquaculture system (RAS) to assess the growth performance, body composition, fatty acid profile, and nutrient accumulation in different tissues of shrimp using two feeding levels (10 and 16 g/kg0.8/day). The shrimp PL25 was nursed in the nursing tank for 2 months and stocked in six grow out tanks (ten individuals in each 30 L tank). A commercial feed with 42.7% protein was used over a 16-h period per day. After 4 weeks, the final average weight when fed 16 g/kg0.8/day was 9.7 g which was not significantly different from a final weight of 8.6 g achieved when feeding 10 g/kg0.8/day. The protein and energy content increased in high feeding level whereas moisture, crude fat, and ash content decreased with feeding level (P?>?0.05). With the high feeding level, the fatty acid content increased in the eye, muscle, and whole body, with eye containing the highest concentration. The isotopic ratio of δ13C was enriched with feeding level in the muscle and whole shrimp whereas the ratio of δ13C was depleted in the viscera with feeding level. The fraction of δ15N was enriched with decreasing feeding level and highest value was found in the muscle than in the whole shrimp and viscera.  相似文献

Essences of small abalone (Haliotis diversicolor supertexta) were prepared by two methods, steaming and boiling. The chemical constituents and antioxidative properties of these essences were determined and compared to those of commercial freshwater clam essence (CFCE). Boiled small abalone essence (BSAE) contained more total soluble solids than steamed small abalone essence (SSAE). Total soluble solids and peptide content of both essences increased with longer extraction time. Glycogen contents of SSAE, BSAE, and CFCE were 14.01, 13.95, and 10.74 mg/mL, respectively. The concentrations of free amino acids in SSAE and BSAE (725.05 and 818.56 mg/100 g, respectively) were significantly higher than in CFCE (33.57 mg/100 g). The antioxidative properties of SSAE and BSAE were higher than that of CFCE. The reducing power and ferrous iron (Fe2+) chelating activity of 3-h SSAE were significantly higher than those of 10-min BSAE. The predominant free amino acid of both SSAE and BSAE was taurine (227.14–273.64 mg/100 g), followed by proline and arginine. Both essences also showed high correlations between peptide content and Fe2+ chelating activity and reducing power. Sensory evaluation trials suggested that 3-h SSAE is more favorable than BSAE in terms of appearance and overall acceptability. In conclusion, SSAE had better antioxidative properties and sensory scores than BSAE.  相似文献

A feeding experiment was conducted in aquaria to study the effect of body composition on growth and feed intake of Clarias gariepinus. Fishes weighing about 20 g were fed diets with different protein to fat ratios. Diet A contained 60% protein, 7% fat and 19% carbohydrate. The composition of diet B was 20% protein, 7% fat and 54% carbohydrate. After 4 weeks the mean fish weight per tank amounted 33.2±1.5 and 27.5±1.4 g for fish fed diets A and B, respectively, while the fat content of the fish was 3.6±0.3 and 6.1±0.4%.During two consecutive periods of 21 days both the lean and the fat fish were fed diet A or B at five feeding levels. The feeding levels ranged from maintenance to above satiation. Fresh weight gain, protein gain and fat gain were higher with increasing feed ration, until a maximum was reached where extra feed did not result in more gain. This maximum gain was higher for diet A. Feeding with this high-protein diet resulted in better feed conversions compared with diet B. Within one diet, lean fish had a higher maximum growth rate compared to fat fish due to a higher feed consumption. Below the maximum gain, fat fish showed a slightly better conversion efficiency when fed with diet A.A explanatory model, for simulating growth of C. gariepinus, was extended in accordance with these experimental findings. It is assumed that the maximum consumption is regulated by both lipostatic and glucostatic mechanisms. The relevant parameter values were fitted with results obtained in the second experimental period. The adjusted model was tested by comparing simulation with experimental results found in the third period. The model gives good results for feeding levels providing sub-maximum gain. At the highest feeding levels of diet A, fed to initially fat fish, the model overestimated gain. The model was used to predict fresh weight gain of C. gariepinus fed diets with different compositions.  相似文献

Investigations were carried out to determine the nutritional profile of Indian Ocean swimming crab Charybdis smithii, which is emerging as an unconventional resource in trawl discards of India. The average protein content was 9.38 g/100 g, fat 0.86 g/100 g, ash 0.34 g/100 g, fiber 0.13 g/100 g, and carbohydrate 1.8 g/100 g. One-way analysis of variance showed no significant variations of constituents except in dry matter and carbohydrate between sexes. Macronutrients, Na (317.1, 327.6/100 g), K (148, 177.40 mg/100 g), Ca (187.90, 285.80 mg/100 g), and Mg (34.31, 41.49 mg/100 g), showed significant variation between sexes. The composition of micronutrients in male and female were Cu (0.28, 0.15 mg/100 g), Fe (0.57, 0.71 mg/100 g), and Zn (1.71, 2.75 mg/100 g). Mineral content showed significant difference between sexes. Amino acid analysis showed that 12.04 and 11.47 g/100 g essential amino acid glycine was present in male and female, respectively, and lysine concentration was 13.96 and 12.65 g/100 g, respectively. The nutritional profile of the species was determined the first time and shows that it is comparable with any other edible crabs and could be exploited as a commercial resource to supplement nutritional demand.  相似文献

A study was undertaken to determine the effect of various dietary carbohydrate‐to‐lipid ratios on growth performance, whole‐body composition and tissue lipid content in Senegalese sole (Solea senegalensis) juveniles. Data on the dietary regulation of key hepatic enzymes of the lipogenic and glycolytic pathways (glucose‐6‐phosphate dehydrogenase, G6PD; malic enzyme, ME; fatty acid synthetase, FAS; pyruvate kinase, PK and glucokinase, GK) were also generated. Four isonitrogenous (crude protein: 52% dry matter (DM)) diets were formulated to contain one of two lipid levels (11% and 21% DM). Within each dietary lipid level, the nature of the carbohydrate fraction (raw or extruded peas) was varied. Triplicate groups of 54 sole (initial body weight: 23.6±1.2 g) were grown in recirculated seawater over 67 days. Fish were fed using automated feeders. At the end of the study, whole‐body, liver, viscera and muscle samples were withdrawn for analyses. During the experimental period, the mean fish weight about doubled in all treatments. No significant differences were found in growth performance (ranging from 1.1% to 1.4% body weight day?1) among dietary treatments. High‐fat diets increased whole‐body fat content. Similarly, daily fat gain ranged from 0.54 to 0.78 g kg?1 day?1 and highest values were found in fish fed high‐lipid diets. Dietary treatments also affected tissue lipid content (liver, viscera and muscle), with highest values in fish fed high‐fat diets. The nature of dietary carbohydrates had little influence on performance criteria, but affected tissue lipid deposition. The activities of G6PD, ME and FAS were depressed by elevated levels of dietary lipid, confirming the inhibitory effect of dietary fats on lipid biosynthesis. At both dietary lipid levels, ME and FAS activities were little affected by dietary carbohydrate. Activities of PK and GK were not affected by the starch level of the diets. In Senegalese sole juveniles, the lipogenic pathway is more susceptible to modulation by dietary means (particularly through lipid intake) than the glycolytic pathway.  相似文献

A 45-day feeding trial was carried out to evaluate the use of shrimp protein hydrolysate (SPH) in diets for Oreochromis niloticus, L. SPH was included in isonitrogenous diets replacing fish meal protein by 0, 5, 10, and 20% and offered to Nile tilapia juveniles (1.7 ± 0.4 g) stocked in 40-L glass aquaria. The inclusion of SPH produced no significant differences (P ≥ 0.05) in final weight, survival, weight gain, average daily gain, specific growth rate, feed conversion ratio, protein efficiency ratio, or apparent net protein utilization. The inclusion of SPH Nile tilapia diets significantly affected (P < 0.05) the final fish body composition. Protein and ash contents decreased and fat content increased slightly with the increase in SPH. This study has demonstrated that SPH is a promising protein feedstuff and could account for as much as 6% of Nile tilapia diets with no adverse effects on growth and nutrient utilization.  相似文献

对皱纹盘鲍 (HaliotisdiscushannaiIno) 2种壳色个体———红壳个体和绿壳个体的一般营养成分、矿物元素以及脂肪酸的组成和含量进行比较研究。结果表明 ,两者对应组织 (足肌、内脏、生殖腺 )中水分、蛋白质、粗脂肪、灰分的含量基本无差异 ;内脏灰分颜色均为红褐色 ,但足肌灰分颜色明显不同 ,绿壳个体呈灰白色而红壳个体则呈浅砖红色。矿物元素的分析结果进一步显示 ,足肌中除了Ca之外 ,所测元素的含量均以红壳个体为高 ,其中Fe、Cu、Mn的含量为绿壳个体的2~ 3倍 ;红壳个体贝壳中Mn的含量亦较高 ,约为绿壳个体的 2倍。两者上述对应组织的脂肪酸种类相同 ,含量基本一致。此外 ,粗脂肪、无机元素含量以及脂肪酸的组成和含量在不同组织之间存在较明显的差别  相似文献

We assessed the dietary value of available seaweeds (Ulva lactuca, Ulva intestinalis, and Sargassum vulgare) as food for juvenile abalone Haliotis tuberculata coccinea. During the 6 weeks that the experiment lasted, initial shell length and weight increased from 13.95 ± 0.32 mm to 15.30 ± 0.30 mm and from 0.39 ± 0.02 g to 0.47 ± 0.03 g. Ulva lactuca diet resulted in higher shell growth rate (58.47 ± 16.76 μm day?1), SGR (1.15 ± 0.47%.day?1), weight gain (65.5% ± 33.3), and PER (1.56 ± 0.31), possibly thanks to its higher crude protein content. Both green algae (U. lactuca, U. intestinalis) prove to support the growth of H. tuberculata coccinea. However, they might not be appropriate for an optimal intensive aquaculture production; further research should be conducted to find more efficient diets for juvenile abalone.  相似文献

Eight tropical marine macro algae were investigated for in-vitro antioxidant, antibacterial, and biochemical properties. The moisture content [% DW (dry weight)] ranged from 7.21 to 14.72%; ash, 24.92 to 47.04%; lipids, 0.73 to 2.67%; protein, 4.56 to 12.59%; and carbohydrate, 30.1 to 48.51%. The % sum of polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) ranged from 21.71 to 78.22%, while omega-6/omega-3 (ω6/ω3) ratio was from 0 to 2.08, which remained within the prescribed World Health Organization (WHO) standards (<10). The % sum of essential amino acids (EAAs) ranged from 86.18 to 204.66, and Na/K ratio ranged from 0.37 to 2.85. The extracts exhibited significant (< 0.05) values for total phenol (7.25–16.0 µg PGE mg–1 DW) and total flavonoid (4.06–15.63 µg QE mg–1 DW) at 200 µg/ml. Antibacterial activity was tested against the selected food spoilage and pathogenic bacteria. The principal component analysis (PCA) confirmed a positive correlation between total phenolic content, 1, 1-diphenyl-2-picryl-hydrazyl (DPPH) radical-scavenging activities, and ferric reducing antioxidant power (FRAP), which supports the integration of seaweeds as ingredients in functional foods.  相似文献

为了比较不同生产工艺得到的酶解鳀鱼浆(HFP)、鳀鱼溶浆(SW)、酶解鳀鱼溶浆(HSW)、低温烘干鳀鱼粉(L-FM)和常规烘干鳀鱼粉(H-FM)在饲料中的应用效果。以初始体质量为(17.69±0.09) g的黄颡鱼幼鱼为养殖对象,以30%的秘鲁超级蒸汽鱼粉(FM组)为对照,在实验日粮中分别添加酶解鳀鱼浆、鳀鱼溶浆、酶解鳀鱼溶浆、低温烘干鳀鱼粉和常规烘干鳀鱼粉,经过8周池塘网箱养殖实验,比较5种不同生产工艺得到的鳀鱼蛋白质原料对黄颡鱼生长性能的影响。结果显示,(1)与FM组相比,L-FM和H-FM组的特定生长率(SGR)和饲料系数(FCR)均无显著差异;(2)以FM组为对照,HFP25实验组的SGR降低了3.30%,FCR升高了5.36%,无显著差异,而HFP45和HFP65组的SGR分别降低了10.99%、20.33%,FCR分别升高了21.43%、41.96%,差异显著,并且随着日粮中HFP添加量的增加,SGR、蛋白沉积率(PRR)和脂肪沉积率(FRR)均呈现下降趋势,差异显著;(3)HFP45、SW和HSW 3组实验饲料的结果中,HFP具有最高的SGR,而SW的SGR最低,差异不显...  相似文献

Respiration, calcification, and bio‐deposition of hybrid abalone, Haliotis discus hannai × Haliotis discus discus, fed on different foodstuffs have been measured to evaluate the effect of hybrid abalone culture on carbon source/sink in coastal areas. Fed with Laminaria japonica, Undaria pinnatifida, Gracilaria lemaneiformis, U. pinnatifida, and Ulva pertusa, alternated mutually, the carbon bio‐deposition rate of hybrid abalone was 24.29 ± 6.39, 65.40 ± 10.55, 21.48 ± 5.99, and 29.28 ± 6.47 µg/g/h, respectively. Hybrid abalone fed on U. pinnatifida had a higher carbon bio‐deposition rate compared to that fed on other foodstuff (P < 5%). Rate of CO2 released by respiration of hybrid abalone fed on the experimental foodstuff was 24.53 ± 8.57, 32.73 ± 7.99, 29.31 ± 6.39, and 33.67 ± 12.37 µg/g/h, respectively. Results indicated that calcification presented less relationship with body weight type of the foodstuff. The rate of CO2 released by calcification into seawater and atmosphere was 2.77 ± 1.89 and 6.53 ± 3.36 µg/g/h, respectively. The total rate of CO2 released because of bio‐deposition, respiration, and calcification processes was 16.19 ± 4.67 µg/g/h, while the total rate of carbon sequestered in shells and tissues was 8.94 ± 2.07 µg/g/h. SUMMARY: An 8-week feeding experiment was conducted to examine the influence of fat and carbohydrate levels in a 40% protein level diet on growth and body composition of rainbow trout Oncorhynchus mykiss under self-feeding conditions. Five fish meal-based diets were prepared to include gelatinized potato starch at four levels (9, 18, 27, and 36%) and dextrin (34%). Dietary fat levels were isoenergetically reduced from 18 to 7% by the digestible carbohydrates. Each diet was fed to four replicate groups (28 g/fish, 20–23 fish/group) using self-feeders. Specific growth rate, percentage weight gain and percentage protein retention did not differ between the treatments. Feed efficiency and protein efficiency ratios were higher in the 18% starch (s18) and s27 diet groups, and decreased in higher fat or carbohydrate diet groups. Although gross energy intake (kJ/kg BW per day) decreased as the starch level increased, levels of digestible energy intake did not differ between the treatments. Fat levels in the carcass, viscera and liver decreased as dietary carbohydrate level increased. These results suggest that a 40% protein diet with either 15% fat and 18% starch or 11% fat and 27% starch is appropriate for juvenile rainbow trout under self-feeding conditions.  相似文献

A 2 × 3 factorial study was conducted to investigate the effects of dietary protein levels (DPLs) and feeding rates (FRs) on the growth and health status of juvenile genetically improved farmed tilapia (GIFT), Oreochromis niloticus. Triplicate tanks of fish (initial weight 15.87 ± 0.11 g) were fed diets containing 25 or 35% protein at rates of 3, 5, or 7% body weight per day (BW day?1) for 8 weeks. At the end of the feeding trial, the results showed that fish growth (final mean weight 34.61–81.07 g) and condition factor (3.39–4.45 g cm?3) increased with the DPLs and FRs. Feed efficiency (FE, 0.48–0.88) increased as DPLs increased but decreased as FRs increased; the opposite trend was observed for feed cost (FC, 3.24–5.82 CHN Yuan kg?1) and hepatosomatic index (0.98–2.33%). Apparent protein retention efficiency (APRE, 23.92–38.78%) was reduced by high FR. A 35% protein diet resulted in higher (P < 0.05) FE and APRE, and lower (P < 0.05) FC at 5% BW day?1 than those at 7% BW day?1. As FRs increased, lipid contents of the hepatopancreas, viscera, muscle, and eviscerated body increased, while moisture contents of hepatopancreas and viscera decreased. All serum biochemical parameters, including glutamic-oxalacetic transaminase and glutamic-pyruvic transaminase activity and levels of creatinine, glucose, high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, total cholesterol, triglyceride, and total protein were unaffected by DPL or FR (P > 0.05), except urea nitrogen levels, which were affected by DPLs (P < 0.05). Moreover, the size of hepatocytes and the area ratio of hepatocyte vacuoles were enlarged (P < 0.05), whereas the area ratios of the nucleus and cytoplasm were reduced (P < 0.05) with increasing FRs. These results suggested that the optimal feeding strategy for juvenile GIFT is 35% protein diet at 5% BW day?1.  相似文献

The optimal dietary carbohydrate (C) : lipid (L) ratio on growth and carcass composition of juvenile abalone, Haliotis discus, was determined. A total of 1260 juveniles were randomly distributed into 18 containers. Six experimental diets containing different ratios of C to L (49:1, 48:2, 47:3, 45:5, 43:7, and 41:9) were prepared and referred to as the C49:L1, C48:L2, C47:L3, C45:L5, C43:L7, and C41:L9 diets, respectively. Water stability of the experimental diets was measured 12, 24, and 48 h after seawater immersion. Crude protein, L and ash content of the experimental diets decreased with time. Survival of abalone fed the C48:L2 diet was higher than that of abalone fed the C49:L1 and C41:L9 diets. Weight gain and specific growth rate (SGR) of abalone fed the C49:L1, C48:L2, and C47:L3 diets were higher than that of abalone fed the C45:L5, C43:L7, and C41:L9 diets. Crude L content of the soft body of abalone was directly reflected from dietary crude L content. In conclusion, the optimal dietary C : L ratio was estimated to be 48:2 and 47:3 based on survival, weight gain, and SGR of juvenile abalone, respectively. Greater than 3% L content in the diet deteriorated performance of this species of abalone.  相似文献

In this study, the vitamin B12 contents were analyzed in the edible portions of various shellfish (bivalves and snails). High vitamin B12 contents (30.5–53.3 μg/100 g wet weight) were detected in mussels, surf clams, bloody clams, and freshwater clams. However, scallops and abalone had extremely low vitamin B12 contents (0.1–1.1 μg/100 g wet weight) which was attributed to only the muscle portions being edible. These results suggest that high levels of vitamin B12 are accumulated in the viscera of shellfish. Vitamin B12 levels were also significantly higher in bivalves than in snails. The corrinoid compounds purified from all bivalves were identified as “true” vitamin B12 using liquid chromatography–electrospray ionization/tandem mass spectrometry. In edible snails, abalone, and pond snails, however, both vitamin B12 and pseudovitamin B12 (an inactive corrinoid) were observed to be the major and minor corrinoid compounds, respectively. Based on these results, we conclude that the whole bodies of these edible bivalves are excellent sources of vitamin B12 for humans.  相似文献

对皱纹盘鲍内脏脂质进行了分析。采用Folch法提取内脏总脂,硅胶柱层析对中性脂及磷脂进行分离;TLC法对中性脂、磷脂不同组分进行分离与其主要组分的制备;10%硫酸—甲醇对样品进行甲酯化,通过气相色谱法对其进行脂肪酸分析比较。结果表明,皱纹盘鲍内脏中磷脂含量可达31.58%,不饱和脂肪酸在磷脂中含量显著高于中性脂中含量。磷脂中含有一定量的缩醛磷脂,磷酯酰乙醇胺(PE)中缩醛型磷脂含量可达50%。研究表明,皱纹盘鲍内脏中含有丰富的磷脂,多不饱和脂肪酸,并含有一定量的缩醛磷脂,具有较好的食用和药用价值,应得到充分利用。  相似文献

Formulated abalone feeds used by the culture industry are believed to be unsuitable for use at elevated water temperatures (>20 °C). The aim of this study was to develop a feed that could safely be fed to abalone cultured at elevated water temperatures by optimizing dietary protein/energy levels. Abalone (54.90 ± 0.08 mm; 28.99 ± 0.16 g) were cultured at either 18, 22 or 24 °C, and fed diets containing graded levels of protein (18–26%) and energy (11.6–16.2 MJ kg?1). Abalone growth was temperature dependent, declining from 4.33 g month?1 at 18 °C to 0.77 g month?1 at 24 °C. Shell length and weight gain were independent of dietary protein, provided that the digestible energy content of the diet was not lower than 13.5 MJ kg?1. Dietary energy levels below 13.5MJ kg‐1 resulted in significant reductions in shell growth, weight gain and increased mortality from 5% to 27%. Feed consumption of the 22% and 26% protein diets with 11.6 MJ kg?1 was significantly higher (0.53 ± 0.04 and 0.55 ± 0.04% bd. wt. day?1 respectively) compared with abalone fed the 16.2 MJ kg?1 diets at the same protein levels (combined mean of 0.45 ± 0.04% bd. wt. day?1) indicating that consumption was linked to energy requirement. The effect of microbial phytase on phosphorus utilization in juvenile Clarias gariepinus (initial fish body weight 11.55 ± 0.2 g) was tested on two different diets based on oil-extracted soya bean (Experiment 1) and roasted soya bean meal (Experiment 2) using a 5 × 5 experimental design for 84 days. The basal isonitrogenous and isocaloric diets for oil-extracted and roasted soya bean were formulated to replace fish meal at 25% (S1E), 50% (S2E), 75% (S3E), 100% (S4E); and 25% (S1), 50% (S2), 75% (S3), 100% (S4), respectively. Each treatment was replicated four times. Microbial phytase was supplemented in each replicate at 250 FTU/g (P1), 500 FTU/g (P2), 750 FTU/g (P3), and 1,000 FTU/g (P4). Basal controls, which included a fish meal-based diet (S0), were not supplemented with phytase (P0). The result in Experiment 1 showed that there was a significant increase in whole-body protein and reduction in fat with phytase compared to a diet without phytase (P < 0.05). Serum total protein declined significantly with phytase supplementation (P < 0.05). Serum phosphorus and glucose were higher with phytase supplementation compared to control (P < 0.05). Bone minerals declined significantly with increasing level of soya bean compared to fish meal diet (P < 0.05). In Experiment 2, serum phosphorus was improved with phytase compared to control with no phytase (P > 0.05). A significant reduction in whole-body protein and increase in fat was observed for fish fed phytase diets compared to diets with no phytase, regardless of soya bean level (P < 0.05); however, ash content was improved with phytase (250 FTU/g) compared to control (P < 0.05). Phytase supplementation improved bone phosphorus (250 FTU/g), calcium (250 FTU/g), magnesium (250–500 FTU/g), and zinc (250–1,000 FTU/g) compared to control (P < 0.05). In conclusion, the research has demonstrated that improved bone phosphorus (P) and growth could be achieved with the supplementation of dietary phytase.  相似文献
