Creative Teaching + Creative Class = Creative Products + Additional Value—A Case Study of Course Reform of Three-dimension Structure

The teaching model of creative Teaching + creative class = creative products + additional value was proposed, so as to cultivate students' design creativity and practical ability by changing teaching concepts and curriculum of Three-dimension Structure, and using new materials for spatial creativity training. This paper acclaims that only if the traditional teaching concepts of Three-dimension Structrue are abandoned, students' specialty fully used, the teaching effect will be improved effectively.     

Ecological Planning of Resource-based City——A Case Study of Huaibei City,Anhui Province

Ecological planning plays an important role in the construction of cities. Huaibei is a typical coal resource-based city, the abundant coal resources lay a solid foundation for its economic development. Coal mining has induced a series of social problems, and affected the regional social and economic development. Ecological planning of Huaibei City concentrates on ecological restoration of coal mining subsidence, and applies circular economy to develop eco-agriculture, eco-tourism and eco-industry, which will contribute considerably to the economic transformation of the city. Analytic Hierarchy Process and mathematical statistical model were applied to calculate sustainable development indexes of Huaibei from 2002 to 2010. By evaluating the indexes, it was found that Huaibei City has a low sustainable development level, and 3 imbalanced subsystems as the major obstacle. The authors proposed countermeasures according to specific conditions of the city.     

Studio Teaching Mode of Art Design Subject of Vocational College: A Case Study of “Art Workshop” Teaching Mode of Nanjing Vocational Institute of Industry Technology

Higher vocational education is an important component of higher education in China. How to explore teaching characteristics and advantages of higher vocational education, and distinguish and complement teaching direction of traditional academic university is an urgent task of higher vocational college. Studio teaching construction has been accepted by more and more higher vocational colleges. However, there is not relatively mature running mode and teaching experience for the new thing. School of Arts and Design, Nanjing Vocational Institute of Industry Technology actively carries out the exploration and construction of art workshop teaching mode in recent years, which obtains better echo and recognition of society, teachers and students. It plays a leading role in research and exploration of studio teaching mode in higher vocational college, and could be taken as a typical case for analysis and summary.     

Study on the Ecological Restoration Techniques in Coal Mines——A Case Study of Mines in Huainan

Coal mining has brought serious damages to neighboring environment and ecosystem,and degradation of ecological environment has seriously influenced life of neighboring residents and sustainable development of coal industry.Destroyed ecological environment of mines in Huainan,Anhui Province was introduced in this study,ecological restoration principles,methods and procedures of mines were explored.The paper proposed that the harmonious development of economy,society and ecological environment must be considered in the ecological restoration.Combing with current situation of local mining areas,practical eco-restoration technical solutions were given by following ecological restoration principles to realize the sustainable development of mines.     

Construction Features of Small Roadside Parks in Tropical Area——A Case Study of Zhanjiang City

Accessibility and flexibility of small roadside parks make them significant transitional spaces in urban landscape environment. Three representative small parks in Zhanjiang City, a typical tropical city in south China, were selected to analyze their location features, spatial processing, demonstration of regional landscapes and recreational characteristics. It was proposed that construction of small roadside parks in tropical area should put human needs on the priority, present regional features of tropical garden landscapes, and focus on inheritance and innovation of regional cultures.     

Construction of Ecological City from the Perspective of Ecological Progress—A Case Study of Liaocheng City

Ecological progress is a new stage in the development of human civilization and ecological city is a new city development model under the concept of ecological progress. In this paper, favorable conditions and constraints for constructing an ecological city are analyzed and construction concepts are put forward. It contributes to the construction of Liaocheng into an ecological city and has a referential value for other cities.

The protected historical blocks always fail to undertake some necessary functions of modern cities because they inherit texture and skyline of historical spaces,and also traditional building density,so these blocks lack in popularity and fall into rigid display of folk customs.In view of the contradiction between protection and vitality,this study proposes the concept ofintergrowth between underground space and urban blockon the basis of theoretic researches and construction practices,aims at renovating urban public green spaces by following the principle of regeneration of place,so as to improve and make up modern urban functions of historical blocks,stimulate vitality of the community,provide an effective solution to the development of new cities and renovation of old cities.

Spatial-temporal Patterns and Evolution History of Rural Settlements from the Perspective of Inheritance——A Case Study of Lianzhou City,Guangdong Province

Formation and evolution of rural settlement patterns in Lianzhou City,Guangdong Province were analyzed from the perspective of space and time,on the basis of its gazetteer and relevant historical data.The results show that Lianzhou was first founded in the sixth year of Yuanding Period of the Western Han Dynasty,and its development could be roughly classified into 6 stages according to the construction of south–north traffic lines and regional development progress,and it witnessed the fastest development in the Ming and Qing Dynasty.In terms of spatial distribution,rural settlements in the local area show spatial continuity,Lianzhou Town is the core of rural settlement growth in the city,and towns with the most concentrated rural settlements in all stages are located in central-west and northeast parts of the city,and those with lower density of rural settlements are mostly located in minority regions in the north and mountainous areas in the east.On the basis of the above facts,the paper studies the influence of natural geological conditions,immigrant,traffic,economic development and ethnic composition on the establishment and development of rural settlements in Lianzhou City.     

Landscape Design of Commercial Housing Based on the Comprehensive Development Model of City Complex——A Case Study on Landscape Design of Chenglong-International

With the acceleration of urbanization, city complex as an intensive urban organization form has gradually grown up in China. By consulting relevant documents of city complex, emergence background and related concepts of city complex were introduced, landscape design of Chenglong-International was analyzed to propose landscape design principles and concepts of city complex under the compound development model, landscape processing techniques of outdoor functional subareas and transitional areas were introduced to provide useful reference for the landscape design of city complex.
