This study aims to enhance the anatomical knowledge of the ear of the adult quail (Coturnix coturnix) through the creation of a scaled 3D model utilizing data from micro‐CT images. In addition, 17 annotated histological sections of the quail's ear are aligned to their 3D position in the model. The resulting anatomical atlas provides an intuitive insight into the 3D anatomy and can be used for medical education. The model also allows measuring anatomical structures and can thus serve as reference for the quail's auricular anatomy and as a basis to evaluate clinical diagnostic imaging results.  相似文献

The so‐called “ taste buds “ of the chicken were examined. It was found that they had one or more pores and were composed of a single cell type. There was a nerve plexus at the base of the bud giving rise to fibres which entered the bud. The cells showed acetyl cholinesterase activity and were found to degenerate following denervation. Thus they closely parallel, in both structure and neural dependency, the taste buds in other vertebrates and it is concluded that they probably are true taste buds.  相似文献

原鸡线粒体DNA部分序列多态性分析   总被引:18,自引:4,他引:14  
测定了分布于中国的红原鸡两个亚种(Gallus gallus spadiceus亚种、Gallus gallus jabouillei亚种)5个个体的线粒体细胞色素B(cytb)部分序列(289bp)和控制区(D环)的部分序列(539bp),并结合GENBANK中已有的原鸡的相应片段进行分析,结果显示分布在中国的两个红原鸡亚种与在泰国等地分布的红原鸡亚种可归为一类,而与爪哇岛上分布的红原鸡亚种差异较大。我们的结果支持红原鸡可以分为陆地型和海岛型亚种,家鸡可能来源于陆地型红原鸡,并经受了多次独立驯化。  相似文献
