Can urban rail transit systems alleviate air pollution? Empirical evidence from Beijing

Improving air quality across mainland China is an urgent policy challenge, while rapidly increasing use of vehicles poses a great menace to the urban population and air quality. Public transportation has received increasing attention as emissions‐ friendly transport options, but whether the urban rail transit system has a significant effect on curbing air pollution has been unclear, and there is a lack of explicit case studies in mainland China. Therefore, the effects of the opening of the Beijing Metro on air pollutants emissions in Beijing were quantified through a regression discontinuity design. Beijing has seen a brisk growth in its rail transit infrastructure and a downward trend of air pollution index since 2005. The regression results show that the operation of the rail transit system was observed to have a significant effect on reducing most of the air pollutants concentrations (PM_2.5, PM₁₀, SO₂, NO₂, and CO) but had little effect on ozone pollution. The results obtained were highly robust across a variety of tests. This study contributes to empirical evidence on the air pollutants associated with the opening of rail transit and traffic‐related pollution control policy making in Beijing.     

Landscape Design of Commercial Housing Based on the Comprehensive Development Model of City Complex——A Case Study on Landscape Design of Chenglong-International

With the acceleration of urbanization, city complex as an intensive urban organization form has gradually grown up in China. By consulting relevant documents of city complex, emergence background and related concepts of city complex were introduced, landscape design of Chenglong-International was analyzed to propose landscape design principles and concepts of city complex under the compound development model, landscape processing techniques of outdoor functional subareas and transitional areas were introduced to provide useful reference for the landscape design of city complex.     

Innovative Design of Sustainable Landscapes Integrating People-oriented,History,and Ecology

Sustainable landscape is the only trend of future landscape development,it is of realistic significance to guide landscape architects to engage in sustainable landscape design.In this study,landscape design experience in recent years was summarized and analyzed by studying relevant design cases,then innovative design of sustainable landscapes integrating people-oriented,history and ecology was proposed to help landscape architects or beginners confused about the complex design techniques to figure out the design orientation.     

Development Paths of Low-carbon Landscape Design

Through interpreting significance of low-carbon landscape, and analyzing common problems in landscape design industry, paths of low-carbon landscape design were explored from the following perspectives: establishing low-carbon index system for the landscape construction of eco-city; constructing scientific and reasonable spatial layout; using landscapes to interpret low-carbon concepts; enhancing the carbon sink function of urban green spaces; choosing reasonable landscape materials; reducing landscape maintenance cost. The study aims at applying low-carbon concepts in all design projects to achieve sustainable development of urban landscapes.     

Renovation of Flexible Landscapes in Urban Brownfield Sites

This paper introduced concept and modern thought of urban brownfield site and flexible landscape design, analyzed factors influencing the modernity, and pointed out significance and necessity of flexible landscape design. By analyzing realistic problems of urban brownfield site, this paper combined flexible design and renovation of brownfield landscape renovation, and proposed suggestions for the flexible landscape renovation of urban brownfield sites, so that renovation of urban brownfield landscape is not confined in renovation, but is more flexible and adaptive, and flexible design is positive for the renovation of urban brownfield landscapes.     

Evolution of Waterfront Landscape Pattern Under Rapid Urbanization: A Case Study of Xuhui Riverside Zone in Shanghai

The urban waterfront area is in a special land-water communication zone and is an ecologically sensitive zone. It combines the characteristics of natural landscape and human landscape intertwined. The urbanization process continues to affect the natural and cultural environment of the waterfront, and environmental issues have become increasingly prominent. Taking Xuhui Riverside Zone as an example, this paper analyses the dynamic evolution process of the landscape, aiming at revealing the impact of the evolution of landscape pattern on urban ecological environment during the process of urbanization in China, so as to provide useful references for the planning and design of the waterfront space landscape of domestic and foreign cities.     

日本都市农业发展研究综述

日本的都市农业是在日本经济高速增长和过快的城市化发展进程中产生的一种新型的区域农业形态。其属性从“过渡农业”到“计划保全农业”,日本都市农业走过了一段特殊的历程。在农地和住宅地交织在一起的当今日本,作为国土设计中不可缺少的一环,都市农业再次受到日本社会的重视。本文通过对有关文献的整理以达到深化对日本都市农业这一城市区域农业的认识,明确未来都市农业研究方向的目的。     

Analysis of Elevated Structure Radiated Noise with BEM-FEM Method

Urban rail transit is becoming an important means of transportation and elevated structure is one important part of urban rail transit. So the radiation noise induced by elevated structure attracts more and more attention. Based on the theory of Helmholtz integral equation of BEM and fluid-structure coupling system of FEM, the sound pressure transmission vector reflecting the relation between structural vibration acceleration and radiation of sound pressure is derived and solved by the element radiation superposition method. The calculated results are in good agreement with the experimental data from a viaduct section of the Beijing airport rapid rail transit.     

城市文化主题公园景观设计探析

城市文化主题公园的建设是诠释城市文化形象、地域特色、生态环境的重要途径。简述城市文化主题公园建设意义,总结了城市文化主题公园景观设计原则与特性,并结合宝鸡市周礼文化主题公园景观营造的实例进行梳理和分析,探讨文化内涵和公园本体景观营造在文化主题公园中的灵魂和核心地位,对中国中小城市主题公园开发、特色建设以及可持续发展提供创新思路,对其文化主题公园文化表达及景观营造具有理论价值和现实作用。     

不同尺度下城市绿地景观格局与连通性研究

城市绿地是关系城市可持续发展的重要环境因素,开展城市绿地景观格局特征研究是景观生态学研究的重点和热点。以长沙城市绿地景观作为研究对象,结合地理信息系统及遥感技术探讨景观格局与连通性指数随粒度增加的变化特征。研究结果表明：（1）随着粒度增加,各景观格局指数均具有尺度效应,且具有明显或不明显的尺度转折点;第一尺度域是选择适宜粒度的较好取值范围。本研究中景观指数计算的适宜粒度范围是80~90 m。（2）斑块的相对重要性尺度效应不显著。随着物种运动能力越强,斑块分级的尺度效应减小。连通性指数IIC和PC值也不具有较强的尺度依赖性。（3）长沙市绿地景观的连通性不高,景观中连通性重要值较大的大型斑块数量较少,且分布不均衡,有待今后规划改善。     

Research on Ecological Space Planning Oriented Urban River Landscape Planning

Based on the generalized landscape perspective, regional connotation of urban river landscape is expanded. The area connotation of urban river landscape is expanded based on the generalized landscape perspective. In addition to natural and functional attributes, river landscape should be regarded as a regional space element based on heterogeneous space scale. First, as for research method system, the space research models(including ecological footprint, space planning, and landscape pattern index, etc.) coupled with different angle scales and interdisciplinary theory, are utilized to study different correlations and results formed by urban river landscape elements and other regional space elements from the perspective of the regional ecological space, and the overall development goal of the urban river landscape pattern based on the goals of the regional ecological space planning is obtained. Second, the oriented urban river landscape planning and the "M" type close-tonature design strategy are evaluated through the city function zoning orientation and micro-scale urban river landscape pattern index. The research realizes the compatibility of overall goals in terms of the regional ecology, the development of urban functional areas, and the river landscape planning, without losing micro difference and maneuverability based on the urban river landscape planning and design oriented strategy, which innovates the new approach of urban river landscape planning and design with sustainable and balanced development of regional resources, multi-scale, and multiple objectives.     

Digital Ecological Design of River Landscapes in Urbanization

By comparing landscape patterns of suburban and urban rivers in the same flow path, and analyzing patch indexes of urban river landscapes, corresponding sustainable eco-design strategies were proposed, ecodesign theory system and eco-restoration design techniques were coupled, so as to explore new digital eco-design means of urban river landscapes by targeting at regional ecological consistency.     

VR-based Urban Landscape Artistic Design

"Digital City" has gradually emerged,promoting the digitalization of urban landscape design,and meanwhile,virtual reality (VR) technology allowing us to create and experience the virtual world has come into reality.The use of VR technology in the urban landscape design,and interactive 3D dynamic view,multi-source information fusion and system simulation of the entity behavior will be beneficial to generate the simulation environment of urban landscape design on the computer,and guide the scientific development of urban landscape design.On this basis,this article analyzed the connotation of VR technology and basic characteristics of urban landscape artistic design based on the overview of previous studies on the urban landscape design in multiple aspects,and further explored the application of key technology in the VR-based simulation of urban landscape artistic design,to provide the reference and idea for urban landscape design,and improve overall effect of urban landscape artistic design.     

Design Elements of Urban Children' s Recreational Landscape Space Based on Genius Loci

Urban children's recreational landscape space is an organic component of urban children's recreational space,genius loci is both a result and a motive in its design.This paper interpreted the connotations of genius loci of urban children's recreational space,the correlation between both,and design elements of urban children's recreational landscape space,in order to provide theoretical support for the design of urban children's recreational landscape space.     

Color Landscape Planning and Design of Urban Street Buildings:A Case Study of the Western Section of Zhongshan Road in Shenyang City

Through exploring color landscape planning and design of buildings in the western section of Zhongshan Road in Shenyang City, this paper proposed color landscape design methods adaptive to Chinese urban construction, concerning various tasks such as reasonable orientation of street building colors, effective control of street building colors, realization of regional characteristics and cultural connotations of urban colors via designs, so as to provide references and theoretical support for the future landscape design of urban streets.     

Application of Classical Garden Design in Landscaping of West Sichuan Plain

Taking"Lotus Garden Residential Area"in Dayi County,Chengdu City,on the west Sichuan Plain for example,the signifi cance of combining ecological technologies and landscape design was elaborated,and the means of controlling urban fl ood and waterlogging were explored from the perspective of the basic unit of urban construction,the residential area,so as to offer a new sustainable thought for the environment design of future residential areas.     

Waterfront Revetment in Yaodu Town,Qingbaijiang District,Chengdu

With the advancement of urban-rural integration, township waterfront functioning as urban waterfront is increasingly emphasized by people. Township waterfront is expected to not only meet the basic needs of urban waterfront in landscape, but also give consideration to both leisure tourism and ecological protection. This paper analyzes the existing problems in the revetment design on the township waterfront and elaborates the importance and feasibility of constructing the ecological revetment in the traditional townships as well as design procedures. The concept of ecological design is introduced into the revetment design on the township waterfront to meet the requirements of both man and nature, so as to achieve a harmonious coexistence between man and nature and sustainable development in a real sense.     

苏南乡村旅游开发模式研究及有效途径

随着产业升级和市场需求,苏南地区乡村旅游得到长足的发展。不少乡村以其丰富多样的乡村文化景观和原生态的自然景观深受欢迎,成为理想的投资场所和城市居民休闲娱乐的旅游目的地。分析现有的开发模式,研究存在的问题,可以为苏南地区乡村旅游的可持续发展提供一定建议。     

日照海曲公园植物景观分析

植物景观是城市园林的重要组成部分,园林植物景观设计需合理配置植物。公园植物景观构成方面的研究对城市园林的发展具有重要意义。笔者调查日照市海曲公园植物种类及组成,对植物景观进行分析研究,介绍海曲公园植物景观的特色,同时对公园中植物造景出现的问题提出解决办法和建议。     

On the Construction of Plant Landscape Form in Urban Landscape Architecture

Design of plant landscape form is a critical part of plant landscaping, and it is an important direction of modern researches on urban plant landscaping to promote the development of plant landscape via the interaction between landscape form design and other means. By elaborating five major influence factors of landscape plants, namely "flexibility", "art", "subject", "mode", and "artistic conception", this paper explored the application of construction thinking in the construction of urban plant landscape form, in order to provide theoretical basis for the development of urban plant landscape form.
