玉米苗期根系对氮胁迫反应的配合力分析   总被引:2,自引:2,他引:2  
研究利用7个玉米自交系,采用NC-Ⅱ设计,分析了玉米苗期根系性状对氮胁迫反应的配合力及遗传参数变化。结果表明,在2个氮水平下,玉米苗期根系性状的一般配合力、特殊配合力都存在显著的基因型差异,而且不同的基因型在氮胁迫下的反应也不尽相同。高氮下,根系性状除轴根长以外均以非加性遗传为主;氮胁迫下,除轴根数以外的根系性状以加性遗传为主。2个氮水平下,根干重、总根长和侧根长的广义遗传力均较高;与高氮处理相比,在低氮胁迫下,根系性状的广义遗传力表现为下降趋势,根干重、总根长和侧根长的狭义遗传力有上升的趋势。  相似文献

以22个甘蓝型油菜品种(系)为亲本(17个母本,5个父本),按NCⅡ设计配成175=85个F1,在不施磷肥(CK)和施P2O5 150 kg/hm2(P150)两个处理条件下,对不同品系油菜磷素籽粒生产效率进行配合力和遗传参数分析。结果表明, 磷素籽粒生产效率(PUEs)杂交组合平均值在P150和CK处理中分别比亲本平均值高6.41%和7.64%。离中亲优势的正向组合数明显多于负向组合数,超亲优势的正向组合数(超高亲)明显多于负向组合数(超低亲),表明PUEs存在杂种优势。PUEs的遗传参数在P150处理和CK处理中一般配合力方差相对较小,特殊配合力相对较大,PUEs遗传以非加性效应(显性效应及上位性效应)为主。在两个肥力水平下,品系9(ZS-3)的一般配合力较高,620(SY07湘05499)、 1320(NY-14湘05499)、 1421(湘05487YY-7)三个组合的特殊配合力较高。  相似文献

为了解谷子两系杂种优势的亲本配合力遗传基础,本研究利用5个不育系和8个恢复系按NCII不完全双列杂交组配40份(5×8)杂种F1,对11个谷子主要农艺性状的杂种优势及配合力进行分析。结果表明,谷子两系杂交组合在穗长、穗粗、千粒重、分蘖性、单穗重、单穗粒重和产量7个性状中存在广泛的超亲优势,但除千粒重外,其余性状的显著超亲组合数较少。杂交组合的单穗重和单穗粒重与产量极显著相关,且相关系数较高。对优异亲本进行筛选发现,A2和R3为一般配合力(GCA)较好亲本,A1、A2为GCA产量效应优异亲本,A1×R3、A2×R8、A3×R5、A3×R7和A5×R1为产量特殊配合力(SCA)效应较优组合。对产量强优势组合的配合力进行分析,发现优异的两系杂交组合中包含至少1个GCA较高的亲本或拥有较高的SCA。本研究结果为谷子优异两系杂交组合的亲本选配提供了一定的理论依据。  相似文献

ABSTRACT

Understanding the genetic control of Fusarium wilt resistance is crucial in pigeonpea breeding programme. This study aimed to study the gene action controlling Fusarium wilt resistance, yield and yield components and select promising crosses possessing resistance to Fusarium wilt along with important agronomic yield traits. Six lines were crossed with four testers in a line x tester mating design. For Fusarium wilt reaction, F1’s progenies were evaluated in a sick field having inoculums of Fusarium wilt at one location for two seasons and in a pot as well. The F1’s and parents were evaluated for yield and yield components at two locations for two seasons using a row-column design with two replications. Results indicated that parents and crosses had highly significantly difference for yield and important agronomic traits. General combining ability (GCA) effects of lines and testers were also significant. Specific combining ability (SCA) was also significant for some crosses. Non-additive gene action was more important than additive gene action except for days to maturity and plant height. Crosses ICEAP 00932?×?TZA 2439 and ICEAP 00932?×?TZA 197 displayed small effects of SCA for Fusarium wilt and large SCA for most of yield traits and should be used for integrated disease management.  相似文献

Fusarium moniliforme and Fusarium proliferatum are the most frequently isolated fungi from maize (Zea mays L.) in Spain. Both Fusarium species produce toxins potentially dangerous for animals and humans, the fumonisins being the most significant of those toxins. White maize is preferred for human consumption, and extra care should be taken to avoid kernel mycotoxin contamination. The objectives of this study were to identify and quantify kernel infection by Fusarium spp. and contamination by fumonisin on white maize hybrids, to search for white maize sources of resistance to infection by Fusarium spp. and mycotoxin contamination, and to preliminarily study the genetics involved in such resistances. Ten F(1) single crosses derived from a diallel mating design among five white maize inbreds were evaluated in a randomized complete block design with three replications in 2002 at two locations. Fusarium verticilloides and F. proliferatum were detected on kernels of white maize hybrids cultivated in northwestern Spain. No differences in fungal infection were found among maize genotypes, but differences in fumonisin contamination were significant and could be related, in part, to differences in husk tightness. Among the genotypes studied, general combining ability (GCA) effects were the most important for resistance to fumonisin contamination. Inbreds EP10 and EC22 showed the most favorable GCA effects for husk tightness and fumonisin content, and the cross between them, EP10 x EC22, had the most favorable specific combining ability (SCA) effect for husk tightness. Inbreds EP10 and EC22 showed favorable GCA effects for fumonisin contamination and husk tightness, and the cross EP10 x EC22 was the only one with an average fumonisin level below 1 mug/g. Although this should be confirmed with more extensive studies, white maize inbreds developed from white maize landraces could be sources of resistance to fumonisin contamination.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

Due to high production cost and prevention of environmental pollution, it is important to reduce the amount of nitrogen (N) fertilizer used on wheat (Triticum aestivum L.). The aim of this study was to evaluate N use of 6 × 6 diallel wheat F2 progenies and parental lines at low (N0, no N fertilizer) and high (N+, 160 kg N ha? 1) N levels. Significant differences were found between N+ and N0 application in grain N content, grain N yield, N use efficiency for grain N yield (NUEgn), and N use efficiency for grain yield (NUEgy). The cultivar ‘84ÇZT04’ showed positive and high general combining ability (GCA) effects for all traits at low N level. Also, it was the best combiner for all traits at both N levels. The cultivar ‘Genç 99’ was the best parent for GCA effects for grain yield and NUEgy. Hybrids ‘Genç 99 × 84ÇZT04’ and ‘84ÇZT04 × Weaver’ showed positive specific combining ability (SCA) effects for all investigated traits at low and high N levels. Variety ‘84ÇZT04 × Apogee’ had the best SCA effects for all traits at low N level. Overall, the data suggest that it is probable to select promising lines suitable for low N conditions by the crossing of high N use efficient parents.  相似文献

以经60Coγ射线处理选育得到的M4代诱变系及其基础材料R08和48-2为被测系,与玉米骨干自交系不完全双列杂交,分析主要农艺经济性状的配合力效应。结果表明:基础材料经辐射诱变后各性状的配合力产生了不同程度的变化;R08的诱变系11和17与48-2的诱变系26和31,其产量性状一般配合力改良效果较好,是高产育种的良好材料,但株高和穗位高GCA偏大;48-2的诱变系23、25、28、29和30虽有利于缩短生育期、降低株高和穗位高,但产量性状GCA表现较差,有待进一步改良;诱变系24产量GCA表现一般,是缩短生育期、降低株高和穗位高的理想材料;其余诱变系各具特点,需在育种实践中有针对性地改良和利用。  相似文献

A high chloride concentration in oriental tobacco leaf has a detrimental effect on tobacco quality and its burning properties. In order to determine the inheritance of chloride concentration in oriental tobacco leaf, eight tobacco genotypes showing genetic variability for chloride concentration on the basis of our previous investigation were crossed in a diallel program. Parental genotypes and their F1 hybrids were evaluated in greenhouse experiment using randomized complete block design with three replications. Each replication consisted of two pots (one plant per pot). Cultivation took place in plastic plant pots which contained 10 kg soil from the fields of the northwest Iran where the oriental tobacco type is planted. Standard agrotechnical practices for this tobacco type were applied during growth. Tobacco was harvested when it reached technical maturity then it was sun-cured. Percentage of chloride in cured leaves was determined as defined by CORESTA (Cooperation Center for Scientific Research Relative to Tobacco, Paris, France). Analysis of variance was performed to determine the effect of genotypes on chloride concentration and showed significant variability among genotypes for this trait. Diallel analysis showed that general combining ability (GCA) and specific combining ability (SCA) effects for chloride concentration were highly significant indicating that both additive and dominant gene effects were important in controlling the chloride concentration. However, the mean square for specific combining ability was greater than those of general combining ability that shows the predominance of the non-additive genetic effects in controlling the chloride concentration. Therefore, the interpopulational breeding strategy using the heterosis effect could give superior gains to this character.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

Use of sorghum [Sorghum bicolor (L.) Moench] cultivars with partial resistance to Striga spp. and Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. strigae (FOS) represents a novel strategy to control Striga. This study aimed to identify the nature of gene action controlling grain yield and yield components and to select promising sorghum crosses possessing both FOS compatibility and Striga resistance, along with good combining ability effects. One-hundred hybrids, developed from pairwise matings among 10 FOS compatible, high-yielding female lines and 10 Striga-resistant male lines, were evaluated with and without FOS inoculation. The F1s were field evaluated at three locations in Tanzania known for their severe Striga infestation, using an alpha lattice design with two replications. General (GCA) and specific combining ability (SCA) variances were significant for grain yield per plant, hundred-seed weight, plant height, flowering time and the number of Striga plants. The study demonstrated FOS inoculation to be an effective means of controlling Striga. Families 675?×?672, AS435?×?3993 and 4643?×?AS436 displaying large SCA effects for grain yield, and 4567?×?AS429, 3424?×?AS430 and 3424?×?AS436 with small SCA effects for Striga counts should be useful genetic resources for breeding and integrated Striga management.  相似文献

采用P(P -1)/2 完全双列杂交设计对6 个白桦优良个体生长性状进行一般配合力( GCA) 和特殊配合力(SCA) 分析,结果表明:2个性状同时受加性和非加性效应控制。同一亲本不同性状的一般配合力差异较大,同一性状在不同亲本间的一般配合力差异也比较大,在6个亲本中Q2 是最好的亲本,M2次之。同一性状不同组合和同一组合各性状的SCA 效应值均有较大差异,试验中苗高地径的特殊配合力最高的是8×Q1,苗高地径两个性状的一般配合力均高于特殊配合力,苗高地径的遗传力属于高强度遗传力,可以进行早期选择。  相似文献

为了解决杂交水稻主要品质性状的选育问题,运用25个早籼稻组合按北卡罗莱纳Ⅱ(NCⅡ)设计进行了配合力的研究,结果表明:精米长、精米宽、精米形状、胶稠度、糊化温度、直链淀粉含量、蛋白质含量等7个性状受不育系的一般配合力效应和组合特殊配合力效应的影响达显著或极显著水平,受恢复系一般配合力效应的影响未达显著水平,其广义遗传力和狭义遗传力都较高,因此在育种中要特别注意不育系本身的特点。垩白级别、糊化温度的狭义遗传力较小并受特殊配合力影响较大,在世代传递中的稳定性是较差的,因而在育种时要特别考虑双亲的表现值。  相似文献

为了定位与发掘水稻产量性状高配合力数量性状座位(QTL),本研究按照不完全双列杂交(NCⅡ)设计,以泸恢8285与扬恢34杂交构建的重组自交系群体(RIL),分别与泸98A、Ⅱ-32A、冈46A杂交构建的双列杂交群体作为试验材料,在德阳、遂宁和泸州3种环境下对单株生物量、收获指数、单株产量、有效穗数、每穗颖花数、每穗实粒数、结实率和千粒重等性状的一般配合力进行QTL定位。结果表明,3种环境下共检测到50个QTL,单个QTL对表型的贡献率变幅在3.26%~34.26%之间,其中qEP2-2、qSP2-2、qFGP2-2、qTGW1和qTGW2 5个QTL在3种环境下均有检出,qHI3、qEP7、qSP7、qSSR12-1和qTGW3-2 5个QTL在2种环境下检出,其他的QTL仅在其中1种环境下检出。此外,有27个QTL增效等位基因来自泸恢8258。本研究结果为进一步开展相关基因的精细定位、克隆和分子辅助选择育种奠定了基础。  相似文献

为提高蚕豆优势组合的选配效率,以6个蚕豆材料(P1~P6)为亲本,采用Griffing完全双列杂交配制30个组合,分析亲本和F1的9个主要农艺性状的杂种优势、配合力和遗传力。结果表明,蚕豆产量相关农艺性状的杂种优势明显,分枝数、单株荚数、单株粒数、每荚粒数、百粒重和单株产量的超亲优势为正值,株高、始荚高和主茎节数的超亲优势为负值。配合力效应分析表明,P1和P2为选育大粒高产的优良亲本,P1×P2和P4×P6符合高产的育种目标,P2×P5和P2×P6符合大粒的育种目标;遗传力分析表明,百粒重、每荚粒数和单株粒数的广义遗传力和狭义遗传力均较高,可以相对稳定地遗传给后代,且这3个性状主要受加性效应控制,适宜进行早代选择,其他性状主要受非加性效应影响;主要性状与单株产量的相关分析表明,蚕豆育种应将单株荚数和单株粒数作为重点目标;通径分析表明,在育种过程中应重点关注分枝数、株高、百粒重、每荚粒数等农艺性状。本研究为蚕豆育种进程中的亲本选配和后代选择提供了一定的理论依据。  相似文献

The aim of present research was to establish the role of epicuticular wax content in eight cabbage genotypes (four white hybrids and one red hybrid, two red varieties and one white variety) in the context of its natural resistance to attack cabbage flea beetles (Phyllotreta spp.) and cabbage stink bugs (Eurydema spp.), which are among the most important cabbage pests in southern Europe. For this reason and for the purpose of diminishing the use of synthetic insecticides against the cabbage pests the field experiments in 2006 and 2008 were conducted. We found out that individual cabbage genotypes – they had different epicuticular wax content – differ in regard to their susceptibility to attacks by the studied groups of harmful insect pests. The highest susceptibility to attacks by Phyllotreta spp. was confirmed for the hybrid ‘Cheers F1’, in the first year (1.68 ± 0.05), as well as in the second year of the experiment (2.87 ± 0.13). Cabbage stink bugs in both years of the experiment caused the highest extent of injuries on the hybrids ‘Destiny F1’, ‘Cheers F1’, and ‘Vestri F1’. In both years we found higher epicuticular wax content in red cabbage genotypes. In almost all studied genotypes we found a pronounced negative correlation between the content of epicuticular wax and the extent of injuries done by both groups of harmful pests. We have established that epicuticular wax is an important factor of cabbage's antixenotic resistance to attacks by cabbage flea beetles and cabbage stink bugs, and that the cabbage genotypes with higher content of this substance are consequently more suitable for environmentally acceptable manners of cabbage production.  相似文献

The present study was undertaken to investigate the genetic nature of zinc (Zn) accumulation in the ear‐leaves of maize (Zea mays L.) plants. Fourteen inbred lines were evaluated. Out of which, five inbreds were chosen, two high Zn accumulators (Rg‐5 and Rd‐2), two low Zn accumulators (Rg‐8 and G‐307) and a moderate one (K‐64). These five parental inbreds were utilized to obtain all possible ten F1 hybrids (in one direction), 10 F2, 10 Bl, and 10 B2. All genotypes were planted and Zn was estimated at 50% tasseling stage. Zinc accumulation in the present genotypes was found to be genetically controlled and affected by additive genes. Significant values were obtained for the General Combining Abilities (GCA) but not for the Specific Combining Abilities (SCA) and the high Zn accumulating parents were the best general combiners. Four genes were found to be the minimum segregating factors in the (high x low) crosses for Zn accumulation.  相似文献

Abstract

Several varieties of spring barley were tested in the greenhouse for resistance to leaf stripe (Drechslera graminea) following exposure to high levels of inoculum in the field, or by using the sandwich inoculation method. Pedigree analyses confirmed that most highly resistant varieties have obtained their resistance from a gene in the landrace Hordeum laevigatum via the variety ‘Vada’, while the remaining few may have it from the donor ‘Ricardo’, or from the cumulative effect of partial resistance. Experiments with fungicide seed treatment of ‘Golf’ and ‘Triumph’, which represent highly resistant, and susceptible genotypes, respectively, showed that the former always remained healthy, and does not benefit from seed treatment, whereas the latter requires treatment every year to avoid any seed loss.  相似文献

Abstract

Rapid clonal propagation potential of banana was investigated by using excised shoot tips of Musa spp. Shoot tips isolated from young suckers of ‘Anamur 2’, ‘Dwarf Cavendish’, and ‘Gazipasa 6'genotypes were used. Excised shoot tips were transferred immediately to Murashige and Skoog (MS) medium with different concentrations of 6-benzylaminopurine (BAP) and thidiazuron (TDZ) either alone or with indoleacetic acid (IAA). Rooting was achieved with indole-3-butyric acid (IBA) and α-naphthaleneacetic acid (NAA) in the presence or absence of activated charcoal (AC). The results showed that shoot proliferation rate was statistically affected by cytokinin types and their concentration. The responses to TDZ were better than to BAP. BAP or TDZ with IAA increased shoot elongation compared with BAP or TDZ alone. An increase in plant height, root numbers and average number of roots per explant was obtained using AC. Hence, for multiplication of ‘Dwarf Cavendish’, the use of MS medium with 2.5 µM TDZ with 1 µM IAA followed by rooting with AC only is recommended. For multiplication of banana genotypes ‘Anamur 2’ and ‘Gazipasa 6’, the use of MS medium with 1 µM TDZ and 1 µM IAA followed by rooting with AC only is recommended.  相似文献

In the present study genetic diversity and hybridization with cultivars were investigated in a population of the endangered European wild apple species Malus sylvestris (L.) Mill. with the aim to establish a basis for the implementation of conservation activities and to ensure its long-term preservation. A total of 284 putative M. sylvestris trees located in the East Ore Mountains were investigated along with a standard set of reference apple genotypes proposed by the European Cooperative Program for Plant Genetic Resources (ECPGR) and 13 old apple cultivars often cultivated in Saxony. The genetic analysis was performed using 12 microsatellite markers also recommend by the ECPGR. To differentiate ‘true type’ M. sylvestris individuals, hybrids and apple cultivars (Malus × domestica Borkh.) a model-based cluster analysis was performed using STRUCTURE. Two clusters were identified consisting of M. sylvestris and M. × domestica genotypes. About 40 % of the putative M. sylvestris showed an admixture of the species-specific allele frequencies and were defined as hybrids. The genetic diversity of the ‘true type’ M. sylvestris population was still high but slightly lower than in the apple cultivars especially since some SSR loci were fixed on one or few alleles in the M. sylvestris population. The differentiation parameters between ‘true type’ wild apple and cultivars indicated a clear discrimination between the wild and cultivated apple individuals. This fact confirms our expectation of the existence of ‘true type’ M. sylvestris individuals in the East Ore Mountains and argues for the realization of preservation measures in this area.  相似文献

Heritage apple (Malus domestica Borkh. hybrids) and pear (Pyrus communis L. hybrid) trees grow in villages throughout Terceira Island, Azores, Portugal. Some of these pears have different names but similar morphology. The objective of this study was to determine synonymy, homology, and phylogeny of apples and pears from Terceira and to examine potential relationships of the island pears with standard apples and pears of Portuguese or American descent. Nine apple microsatellite markers were used to determine genetic relationships. Distance- and parsimony-based cluster analysis grouped these genotypes into separate apple and pear clades. The Terceira apples were divided into two clades: the maçā and the reineta-reinette. Among the 17 heritage apple genotypes, seven unique accessions were identified and four groups of synonyms, or possibly clones, were detected including: ‘Reineta Agosto’ and ‘Reineta Verde’ from Altares; ‘Reineta Castanha’ and ‘Reineta Verde Miuda’; ‘Maçā Pêra,’ ‘Maçā Calhau’, ‘Pêro Branco’ from Salga and from Terra-Chā and ‘Maçā Marmelo’; and the five genotypes ‘Maçā Sao Joao’, ‘Malápio Rosa’, ‘Maçā Gaspar’, ‘Maçā Branca’ and ‘Maçā Pato’. In addition, two homonyms were detected. ‘Pêro Vermelho’ from Terra Chā was a separate genotype from a tree from Doze Ribeiras of the same name, but Pêro Branco from Terra Chā appears to be a clone that can be distinguished by an additional allele at CH1F07a from a tree with that name from Salga. One pair of apple clones, ‘Reineta Agosto’ and ‘Reineta Verde’ from Altares appear to be derived from an unreduced gamete of ‘Golden Delicious.’ Another apple genotype ‘Maçā Acida’ could be a sibling of the ‘Maçā Pêra’ clonal group. Other tested standard apples from the US genebank were unrelated to Terceira genotypes. Of the seven heritage pears, five unique genotypes and one pair of synonyms were detected. ‘Pêra Papo Pintassilgo’ from Raminho and ‘Pêra Vermelha’ from the nursery of Serviço de Desenvolvimento Agario da Terceira (SDAT) were synonyms. ‘Passans du Portugal’ was related to ‘Pêra Cabaca’ but other standard pears from the US genebank were unrelated to Terceira genotypes. Future studies will include additional apple and pear cultivars from other Islands of the Azores and continental Portugal, and wild Asian species to further explore genetic relationships.  相似文献
