Abstract

The influence of dietary protein, fat and mineral levels on crude fat and fatty acid digestibility was investigated in growing pigs. The experiment was a factorial design with two levels of protein (normal and high), two levels of dietary fat (3 and 15% of DM) and three levels of minerals (50, 100 and 150% of Danish Standard). Four litters, each of six female pigs, were used in the experiment.

Increasing the dietary protein content resulted in a moderate but significant increase in the ileal digestibility of fatty acids. The increase was most pronounced for the saturated fatty acids. Addition of animal fat to the basal diet caused a substantial increase in ileal digestibility of all fatty acids except stearic acid (18:0). A variation in the dietary mineral content of ±50% of the Danish Standard had no significant influence on ileal digestibility of crude fat and fatty acids. Apparently, microbial hydrogenation occurred in the hind-gut, but the increase in stearic acid (18:0) excretion could not be explained solely by biohydrogenation of unsaturated fatty acids. The interactions between dietary protein and fat on the increase of faecal 18:0 showed that the dietary composition had a very complex effect on the microbial activity in the hind-gut. Consequently, determination of fatty acid digestibility should be performed at the terminal ileum, whereas crude fat (Stoldt) digestibility can be carried out on faecal material.  相似文献

本试验旨在研究饲粮蛋白质和脂肪来源对育成前期蓝狐营养物质消化率和氮代谢的影响。试验采用双因子试验设计,设植物性蛋白质(P植)和动物性蛋白质(P动)2个蛋白质来源,豆油(F植)和猪油(F动)2个脂肪来源,配制4种试验饲粮(P植F植、P植F动、P动F植、P动F动)。选取(55±5)日龄、体重相近的健康蓝狐80只,随机分成4组(每组20只,公母各占1/2),每组随机饲喂1种试验饲粮。预试期14 d,正试期60 d。结果表明:P植组蓝狐的干物质、粗蛋白质和总能消化率显著或极显著高于P动组(P<0.05或P<0.01),但蛋白质生物学价值却极显著低于P动组(P<0.01);F动组蓝狐的粗脂肪消化率极显著低于F植组(P<0.01),但氮摄入量、氮沉积、净蛋白质利用率和蛋白质生物学效价则显著或极显著高于F植组(P<0.05或P<0.01)。由此得出,蓝狐对植物性蛋白质饲料中各营养物质的消化率较高,但蛋白质生物学价值却极显著低于动物性蛋白质饲料,所以蓝狐实际生产中要想以植物性蛋白质饲料为主则要考虑氨基酸平衡问题;豆油的脂肪消化率虽较高,但猪油可以提高氮的利用和沉积,所以动、植物混合油脂的生产效果会更好。  相似文献

The effect of mixed animal fat and sunflower oil supplementation (5%) of a feed of medium (12.02 MJ DE/kg) and low (8.54 MJ DE/kg) energy concentration upon the digestibility of nutrients and on some blood parameters was investigated. The ether-extractable content of feed and faecal samples was determined by diethyl ether extraction (after Soxhlet) and the total (true) fat level was measured by the method of Stoldt (1952), viz. petroleum ether extraction of samples pretreated with 4 N HCl. In the majority of cases the voluntary feed intake decreased after the addition of animal fat or vegetable oil. Mixed animal fat supplementation significantly (by 5 and 11 units) improved the digestibility of the ether extract if added to either of the basal diets. The digestibility of crude fibre and N-free extract increased only in the case of the basal diet of low energy concentration (by 4 and 7 units, respectively). Sunflower oil addition produced changes of the same tendency (9, 9, 28 and 5 units). The digestibility of the crude protein was practically not altered by either supplementation. The total fat content of feed and faecal samples proved to be higher than that of the ether extract, on an average by 27 and 100%, respectively. Consequently, the digestibility coefficients of the total fat are by 10 units lower than those of the ether extract. The DE concentrations, calculated by means of the digestible ether extract or the total fat content, differed significantly only between the basal diets. The addition of mixed animal fat to either of the basal diets increased the blood concentration of total lipids (by 18 and 32%, respectively), while that of sunflower oil did not cause such an alteration. Neither fat nor oil supplementation had an effect on the cholesterol level of the blood plasma. Both the animal fat and the vegetable oil surplus modified the fatty acid composition of blood lipids. It was characteristic of each treatment that the proportion of polyunsaturated fatty acids increased.  相似文献

Energy utilization and blood traits of ponies fed fat-supplemented diets   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
The digestibility and heat production values for three fats of different origin were determined. Four pony geldings (225 kg) were used in a study consisting of four successive digestion trials utilizing a 4 X 4 Latin square design. The four dietary treatments were basal alone and supplemented with 15% corn oil, blended fat or inedible tallow. The blended fat was composed of a mixture of animal and vegetable fats. A 7-d preliminary period preceded a 7-d total fecal collection period for each trial. Heat production values were obtained by indirect calorimetry and calculated from oxygen consumption data. Fat supplementation increased (P less than .05) dietary metabolizable energy from a basal value of 3,224 kcal.kg intake-1.d-1 to a mean value of 3,984 kcal.kg intake-1.d-1 for the three fat diets. No difference in heat production was observed among the diets, averaging 2,883 kcal.kg intake-1.d-1. Fats increased (P less than .05) the energy balance (metabolizable energy-heat production) approximately 88% over the basal. Corn oil and blended fat produced the greatest energy balance of the fats. Utilization of energy in fats, calculated by difference, was not different, but tended to be highest in blended fat and lowest in the corn oil. Apparent fatty acid digestibility increased (P less than .05) with the addition of fat to the basal, partially due to the dilution of endogenous fecal fat, but digestion coefficients were not different (P greater than .40) among the high fat diets.  相似文献

Poultry diets are formulated with additional animal fat or vegetable oils to improve growth rate and feed conversion efficiency. High‐fat diet feeding in rats and fish has been shown to result in alterations in the phospholipid composition and cholesterol content of the erythrocyte membrane, in turn affecting erythrocyte osmotic fragility. In contrast, the few studies performed using high‐fat diet feeding in avian species show no changes in erythrocyte osmotic fragility. This study made use of the Japanese quail as no data exists on investigation of this species with respect to high‐fat diet feeding and erythrocyte osmotic fragility. Fifty‐seven male quail were randomly divided into six groups and fed either a standard diet (commercial poultry feed) or one of five high‐fat diets (commercial poultry feed with 22% of either coconut oil, lard, palm oil, soya bean oil or sunflower oil on a weight/weight basis) for 12 weeks. All birds on the high‐fat diets were significantly heavier (p < 0.05) after the 12‐week feeding period, than when commencing the dietary intervention. Serum triglyceride concentrations of birds in all high‐fat diet groups were significantly lower (p < 0.05) than birds in the standard diet group, whereas only birds in the palm oil group had significantly lower (p < 0.05) serum cholesterol concentrations compared to the standard diet group. Fragiligrams of erythrocytes from birds in the various dietary groups were similar. High‐fat diet feeding with different types of additional fat did not affect the osmotic fragility of the quail erythrocytes. Feeding quail high‐energy diets of varying degrees of fatty acid saturation was well tolerated and did not seem to affect the overall health status of the birds. Resistance of avian erythrocytes to modification by excess dietary fat may be a general characteristic of avian erythrocytes.  相似文献

Xylanase supplementation of rye-based diets which contained 10% beef tallow was shown to markedly improve the digestibility of fat whereas the enzyme effect in diets containing 10% soya oil was much less pronounced (Dänicke et al. 1997b). Such interactions between fat type and xylanase supplementation have also been reported for wheat–rye-based diets (Langhout et al. 1997) and wheat-based diets (Allen et al. 1997) and were attributed mainly to the fatty acid composition of different types of fat and to changes in digesta viscosity caused by soluble pentosan. The apparent metabolizable energy, N-corrected (AMEN) contents of such diets were affected in a similar manner suggesting that energy metabolism is also influenced by xylanase supplementation and the type of dietary fat. However, changes in the metabolizability of gross energy does not necessarily indicate whether the efficiency of metabolizable energy (ME) for energy gain is changed nor if different proportions of ME are used for maintaining an energy equilibrium, i.e. ME maintenance requirement. In addition, studies suggest that both dietary fat level and fat type might exert effects on the efficiency of utilization of ME for energy retention (Carew and Hill 1964; de Groote et al. 1971; Fuller and Rendon 1979; Brue and Latshaw 1985). Hence, the aim of this study was to investigate the partitioning of ME between maintenance needs and energy retained as protein and as fat when feeding rye-based diets. 文章旨在探讨日粮添加不同油脂原料对肉牛生长性能、养分消化及瘤胃发酵性能的影响。试验选择平均初始体重(296±32.33)kg、带有瘤胃瘘管的肉牛48头,随机分为4组,每组4个重复,每个重复3头。对照组肉牛饲喂不含油脂的日粮,处理组肉牛分别饲喂含有5%棕榈油、亚麻油和包被脂肪的日粮。在为期10周的饲养试验后测定相关指标。结果:对照组与包被脂肪组干物质、有机物和氮摄入量及干物质、有机物表观消化率显著高于棕榈油和亚麻油组(P<0.05),而包被脂肪组与亚麻油组粗脂肪摄入量显著高于对照组和棕榈油组(P<0.05)。对照组粗脂肪表观消化率较其他组分别显著降低31.94%、32.17%和33.56%(P<0.05),而亚麻油组中性洗涤纤维表观消化率较其他组分别显著降低18.61%、17.10%和19.68%(P<0.05)。包被脂肪组瘤胃不饱和脂肪酸流量较对照组和棕榈油组分别显著提高152.26%和240%(P<0.05)。对照组与包被脂肪组瘤胃氨氮浓度显著高于棕榈油组和亚麻油组(P<0.05)。结论:包被脂肪降低了脂肪对瘤胃发酵的影响,其对瘤胃饱和脂肪酸流量的影响与亚麻油相似,但棕榈油降低了瘤胃氨氮浓度,不能有效向瘤胃提供不饱和脂肪酸。 [关键词]油脂原料|肉牛|生长性能|养分消化|瘤胃发酵  相似文献

The worldwide increase in aquaculture production and the decrease of wild fish stocks has made the replacement of fish oil (FO) in aquafeed industry a priority. Therefore, the use of terrestrial animal fats and vegetable oils, which has lower cost and larger supplies, may be good as substitute for FO. This study investigate the effects of total replacement of FO by two terrestrial animal fats (pork lard and poultry fat) and three vegetable oils (palm kernel oil, sheabutter oil and sunflower oil) on haematological and serum biochemical profile of Heterobranchus longifilis over 70 days. FO-diet was used as the control. The haematological parameters were significantly affected by dietary lipid sources. Serum total protein was not influenced by the dietary lipids. However, serum cholesterol was significantly higher in fish fed diet containing sunflower oil. Glucose and activities of liver enzymes in blood serum were significantly reduced in fish fed alternative lipids when compared with the control. These results indicate that FO can be replaced completely with alternative lipids without any serious negative health impacts.  相似文献

1. A study with growing chicks investigated the effects of an inclusion of an endo‐xylanase preparation (LYXASAN®) to a wheat‐ and rye‐based diet on performance and nutrient digestibility in relation to the fat source.

2. The basal diet contained 500 g wheat and 100 g rye/kg of diet. The basal diet was supplemented with either 65 g soya oil/kg or 60 g blended animal fat and 5 g soya oil/kg.

3. Endo‐xylanase added to the soya oil diet did not affect weight gain, but there was a numerical improvement in food conversion efficiency which was not statistically significant. When the endo‐xylanase preparation was added to the blended animal fat diet, both weight gain and food utilisation were improved by 9.5% and 6.0%, respectively (P< 0.05).

4. Digestibilities of organic matter, crude fat, crude fibre and NFE were not significantly affected by adding endo‐xylanase to the soya oil diet. However, when endo‐xylanase was included in the blended animal fat diet, digestibility of organic matter, crude fat, crude fibre and NFE were improved (P<0–05). The improvement in fat digestibility was the most pronounced, amounting to 9–4%. Nitrogen retention and metabolisable energy content were improved significantly by the addition of an endo‐xylanase to the animal fat diet (P< 0.05), by 6.6% and 6.5% respectively.

5. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that the effects on chick performance and nutrient digestibility of a dietary endo‐xylanase in a wheat‐ and rye‐based diet are influenced to a considerable degree by the type of fat in the diet.  相似文献

本试验旨在研究日粮脂肪酸组成对生长期银狐生长性能、营养物质消化率及氮代谢的影响.选取12周龄左右、体重相近的健康雄性银狐20只,随机分成2组,每组10个重复,每个重复1只,分别饲喂在基础日粮中添加10%豆油(豆油组)和10%混合油脂(鸡油:豆油=1:1)(混合油脂组)的试验日粮.试验期151 d,分为育成期(90~145日龄)和冬毛期(146~240日龄)2个阶段.结果表明,日粮脂肪酸组成对育成期和冬毛期银狐的干物质采食量和料重比均无显著影响(P>0.05),但对育成期银狐日增重有显著影响(P<0.05),表现为豆油组显著高于混合油脂组(P<0.05);日粮脂肪酸组成对育成期和冬毛期银狐的蛋白质表观消化率和碳水化合物表观消化率均无显著影响(P>0.05),但对育成期银狐脂肪表观消化率有显著影响(P<0.05),表现为豆油组显著高于混合油脂组(P<0.05);日粮脂肪酸组成对育成期银狐的氮代谢无显著影响(P>0.05),但对冬毛期银狐的蛋白质生物学效价和氮沉积有显著影响(P<0.05),表现为混合油脂组分别显著和极显著高于豆油组(P<0.05;P<0.01).综合本试验测定指标,建议育成期银狐以豆油作为日粮脂肪主要来源生产性能较好,而冬毛期以混合油脂(鸡油:豆油=1:1)作为日粮脂肪主要来源效果最佳.  相似文献

Supplemental fats (SF) have special value in the diets of dairy cows with superior productive ability, because the high energy density of SF allows greater energy consumption and direct transfer of the fatty acids (FA) of the SF to milk fat; this increases metabolic efficiency. Some SF, especially oils with a high degree of unsaturation, disturb ruminal fermentation, decrease fiber digestibility, and lower milk fat test; however, oilseeds (e.g., whole cottonseed) can be fed without observable ruminal inhibition, probably because of a slow release of the oil into ruminal contents. A number of commercial fat supplements are available that have little effect on ruminal fermentation and are highly digestible postruminally. A product of the calcium salts of palm oil fatty acids was shown to have a NE for lactation of more than three times that of corn. As the emphasis in milk pricing formula changes from milk fat to milk protein, there is greater concern regarding the propensity of fat supplements to decrease milk protein (casein) percentage. In two studies, a supplement of ruminally protected lysine and methionine largely prevented the reduction in casein percentage that occurred with feeding SF, indicating that the amino acid profile of undegraded dietary protein is important with regard to preventing the lower casein percentage. Combining fat supplements that are slowly released in the rumen with those that are inert in the rumen will allow maximal use of SF.  相似文献

The aim of this study was to assess the nutritional effect of tomato pomace, in combination with two distinct fat sources (lard or soya bean oil), on longissimus lumborum muscle, subcutaneous fat and liver of young pigs. Forty male pigs of 4 weeks old were randomly assigned to four dietary treatments using two fibre sources (wheat bran or 5.0% tomato pomace) and two fat sources (lard or soya bean oil), in a 2 × 2 factorial design for a 5‐week trial. Tomato pomace did not improve colour, fatty acid profile, cholesterol content or lipid oxidation, nor did it yield detectable levels in lycopene or β‐carotene in the meat (p > 0.05). However, a positive increase in α‐tocopherol content of meat and liver was observed in pigs fed tomato pomace (p < 0.05). Compared with lard, soya bean oil increased MUFA and PUFA proportions and decreased the percentage of SFA (p < 0.05). Our results indicate that 5.0% of tomato pomace increases pork oxidative stability and that 5.0% of soya bean oil, compared with lard, improves its nutritional quality.  相似文献

Nutrient digestibility, metabolic effects and performance were evaluated in lactating cows (n = 6 × 6) receiving diets containing one of four different lecithins (raw, deoiled and deoiled/partially hydrolysed soy lecithin, raw canola lecithin) or soybean oil in combination with Ca soaps of palm oil fatty acids in a ratio of 1 : 3. A diet supplemented only with Ca soaps served as a control. The complete diets consisted of forage and concentrate (0.62 : 0.38) and total lipid supplementation was 30 g fatty acids/kg dietary dry matter. Lecithins had no effect on milk yield and milk composition. Apparent digestibility of dry matter, organic matter and gross energy were highest in the control diet and lowest in the soybean oil diet (p < 0.1) with intermediate values for the lecithin‐supplemented diets. Soybean oil particularly reduced fibre digestibility (significant with hemicellulose), whereas this effect was reduced or even missing when lecithins, particularly raw canola lecithin and deoiled/hydrolysed soy lecithin, were used. The digestibility of total fatty acids was not affected by the treatments. The effects were also not significant for blood plasma traits except for insulin which was significantly higher with raw than with deoiled/hydrolysed soy lecithin. In conclusion, lecithins, particularly those technologically modified or of a low polyenoic fatty acid content, might be preferred to oils when used as an energy source whereas they failed to improve digestibility of rumen‐protected fats.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

1. The potential of lecithin and lysolecithin to improve lipid digestion and growth performance was investigated in three experiments: 1. an in vitro model that mimics the intestinal conditions of the chick, 2. a digestibility trial with chicks (5–7 days of age), and 3. a performance trial until 21 days of age.

2. In experiment 1, palm oil (PO), palm oil with lecithin (PO+L), and palm oil with lysolecithin (PO+LY) were subjected to in vitro hydrolysis and applied to Caco-2 monolayers to assess lipid absorption.

3. The in vitro hydrolysis rate of triglycerides was higher in PO+LY (k = 11.76 × 103/min) than in either PO (k = 9.73 × 103/min) or PO+L (k = 8.41 × 103/min), and the absorption of monoglycerides and free fatty acids was highest (P < 0.01) for PO+LY. In experiment 2, 90 broilers were assigned to three dietary treatments: a basal diet with 4% palm oil, and the basal diet supplemented with either 250 ppm lecithin or lysolecithin.

4. ATTD of crude fat was higher in broilers supplemented with lysolecithin, but was lower in broilers supplemented with lecithin. DM digestibility and AMEn in birds supplemented with lysolecithin were significantly higher (3.03% and 0.47 MJ/kg, respectively).

5. In experiment 3, 480 broilers were randomly allocated to four dietary treatments: basal diet with soybean oil (2%), basal diet with lecithin (2%), soybean oil diet with 250 ppm lysolecithin, or lecithin oil diet with 250 ppm lysolecithin.

6. Lecithin diets significantly reduced weight at day 10 and 21 compared with soybean oil. However, the addition of lysolecithin to lecithin-containing diets significantly improved bird performance.

7. The results of these studies showed that, in contrast to lecithin, lysolecithin was able to significantly improve the digestibility and energy values of feed in young broilers.  相似文献

Background: There are various fat sources with different energy values and fatty acid compositions that may affect growth performance and carcass composition of grow-finishing pigs. A higher net energy was recently reported in choice white grease compared with soybean oil. Therefore, two experiments were conducted to determine whether practical responses confirm that difference between choice white grease and soybean oil, and to extend the observations to other fat sources.Results: In Exp. 1, pigs fed fats had lower(P 0.05) average daily feed intake in phase II and overall period,greater(P 0.05) gain:feed in phase I, phase II, and overall period than pigs fed the control diet. Pigs fed fats tended(P = 0.057) to have thicker backfat depth at the last rib than those fed control. Pigs fed 6% fats had greater(P 0.01) gain:feed in phase II and overall period than pigs fed 3% fats. During phase I, pigs fed choice white grease grew faster(P 0.05) than pigs fed soybean oil. In Exp. 2, pigs fed dietary fats(soybean oil, choice white grease, animal-vegetable blend, palm oil, or tallow) had greater(P 0.01) gain:feed in each phase and overall period, greater(P 0.01) average daily gain in phase I, but lower(P 0.01) average daily feed intake in phase II an overall than pigs fed the control diets. The choice white grease also increased(P 0.05) average daily gain during phase I compared with soybean oil. Pigs fed palm oil had thicker(P 0.05) backfat depth at the 10 thrib than those fed soybean oil, animal-vegetable blend, or tallow.Conclusions: Inclusion of 6% dietary fat improved feed efficiency of finishing pigs, while different fats produced different practical results that may be consistent with their different energy values. Results from the early stage indicate that dietary fats with relatively more saturated fatty acids may provide greater energy than those with relatively more unsaturated fatty acids for growing pigs.  相似文献

1. Two experiments were performed to evaluate the effect of dietary fat on performance and fat and protein accretion in broiler chickens according to the degree of saturation. 2. The first experiment was designed to test 2 sources of dietary fat and 3 levels of dietary energy using a factorial (2x3) experimental design. The foods were formulated to maintain a constant ratio of energy to protein (and other nutrients). There were no significant differences in weight gain, intake, final body weight or food to gain ratio between broilers fed on diets differing solely in the degree of fat saturation. Broilers fed on diets containing animal fat showed higher whole-body fat retention (P=0.02) and lower protein accretion (P=0.03) than those fed on diets containing vegetable oils. 3. In the second experiment, only 1 concentration of fat (tallow, lard or sunflower oil) was incorporated into the experimental diets, providing different energy to protein ratios. The carcase protein content was not affected by dietary fat source, while total fat accretion (P=0.01) and energy retention (P=0.14) were highest in broilers fed on a diet containing tallow. 4. The findings suggest that the degree of saturation of dietary fats affects their metabolic use and fat accumulation in broiler chickens.  相似文献

1. The interactions between dietary fat type and xylanase supplementation of rye‐based diets were investigated using a 2×2 factorial design in which a rye‐based diet (610 g rye/kg) was combined with 100 g/kg of soya oil or beef tallow, with or without xylanase supplementation at 3000 IU/kg, and fed to 1‐d‐old male broilers for 35 d. Growth, nutrient digestibility and AMEn values were determined and the vitamin status of livers assessed at various ages.

2. There were significant interactions between crude fat and xylanase supplementation on the faecal digestibility of crude fat and crude protein. Fat digestibility was improved by xylanase in both fat type groups but to a greater extent for the tallow diets. However, the effects were found to be significant only for oleic, linoleic and linolenic acids. Similarly, protein digestibility and AMEn values were significantly improved by xylanase, but only for the tallow diet.

3. Heal digestibility of nitrogen and amino acids also were affected by enzyme for both fat type diets, the effect generally being more pronounced for the tallow diet.

4. The deposition of the fat soluble vitamins A and E in livers was significantly increased by xylanase supplementation and was also better for soya oil than for tallow.

5. Xylanase supplementation increased the digestibility of insoluble pentosans whereas for the soluble pentosans the opposite effect was noted.

6. Without xylanase supplementation the tallow‐based diet caused high mortality. Liveweight gain and the efficiency of food utilisation were greatest in the soya oil‐based, xylanase‐supplemented diet, followed by the unsupplemented soya oil‐, supplemented tallow‐ and unsupplemented tallow‐based diets.  相似文献

Background

Rapid body fat mobilization, obesity, and an inadequate supply of n-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) have been suggested to play roles in the etiology of fatty liver in the American mink (Neovison vison). This study examined the effects of feeding intensity and dietary fat source on fatty liver induced by fasting. In a multi-factorial design, 3 different fat sources (herring oil, rich in n-3 PUFA, soya oil, rich in n-6 PUFA, and canola oil, rich in n-9 monounsaturated fatty acids) were fed to mink at a low and high feeding intensity for 10 weeks, followed by an overnight or a 5-day fasting treatment to induce fatty liver.

Results

Fasting led to the development of fatty liver with increased severity in the mink fed at the high feeding intensity. The herring oil diet, high in long-chain n-3 PUFA, was found to decrease the severity of fatty liver in the mink at the high feeding intensity.

Conclusion

Preventing excessive weight gain and increasing dietary intake of n-3 long-chain PUFA may help prevent excessive lipid accumulation during prolonged periods of fasting or inappetence by promoting hepatic fatty acid oxidation.  相似文献

An experiment with 36 growing pigs of Danish Landrace was performed to study the influence of crude (animal) fat on the digestibility of crude fat and on the efficiency of utilization of metabolizable energy.The pigs (females from 3 litters and male castrates from 3 litters) were distributed on six dietary treatments on a within-litter basis, taking into account the live weight of the pigs. The daily intake of the different diets was regulated in such a way that the daily gain in the different treatment groups was almost identical throughout the entire experimental period from 20–90 kg.Three digestibility and balance experiments were performed with each pig, and at approximately 90 kg live weight the pigs were killed, dissected, ground, mixed and chemically analysed. The digestibility of crude fat increased with increasing concentration of dietary fat and the efficiency of utilization of metabolizable energy was increased by 5.0 kJ g?1 digestible crude fat.Digestibility experiments with ileo-caecal cannulated pigs showed that the proportion of the digested crude fat and fatty acids disappearing in the caecum—colon decreased with increasing concentration of dietary crude fat, which results in a positive contribution of digestible crude fat to net energy besides its contribution to metabolizable energy.  相似文献
