The nonionic reverse micelles used for dyeing cotton fiber were prepared with a non-ionic surfactant Triton X-100 (TX-100) by injecting small amount of reactive dye aqueous solution. The adsorption capacity of three water-soluble anionic azo dyes including Reactive Blue 222, Reactive Red 195 and Reactive Yellow 145 onto cotton fiber was investigated. The Langmuir and Freundlich isothermals were employed to model the adsorption data. In addition, the color strength and fixation rate of cotton fabrics dyed in the reverse micelles and bulk water were examined and compared. The salt and alkali as influencing factors were also discussed. The FT-IR spectra were employed to study the polarity of water added in reverse micelles. The results indicated that the adsorption of the dyes onto cotton showed better agreement with Langmuir model. The adsorption process was monolayer adsorption. Reactive Yellow 145 with lower negative charge and higher hydrophilicity exhibited the higher adsorption capacity. The fixation percentage and color strength of the cotton fiber dyed in TX-100 reverse micelles was higher than those in bulk water. The polarity of water in TX-100 reverse micelles was lower than that in bulk water.  相似文献

In this study, purified Eichhornia crassipes dead biomass, coated biomass with ZnO nanoparticles (NPs) and one coated with both ZnO NPs and polyethylenimine (PEI) were successfully fabricated as a bioadsorbent and biodegradent of organic dyes from the textile dye effluent. These ZnO NPs are capable of enhancing the dispersability and adsorption capacity of PEI and the anionic dyes. The surface analyses of Eichhornia crassipes, Eichhornia crassipes/ZnO NPs and Eichhornia crassipes/ZnO NPs/ PEI were characterized by SEM, specific surface area and micropore volume. The effect of three parameters including Eichhornia crassipes concentration, dye concentration and contact time on the color removal percent and degradation percent were evaluated. The results showed that the bleached Eichhornia crassipes was an efficient adsorbent for cationic dyes. Also, the effectiveness of Eichhornia crassipes/ZnO NPs was employed as photocatalytic agent for the degradation of C.I. Direct Red 23 in the presence and absence of UV irradiation. Moreover, Eichhornia crassipes/ZnO NPs/PEI shows a high adsorption capacity toward the anionic dyes C.I. Acid Red 40 and C.I. Reactive Orange 91. It was found that, Eichhornia crassipes/ZnO NPs was completely degraded C.I. Direct Red 23 by >90 % within 90 min of UV irradiation time, whereas in the absence of UV irradiation it required a substantially longer time (120 min) to achieve a similar degradation percent. In addition, Eichhornia crassipes/ZnO NPs/PEI was most effective and show the maximum adsorption capacity for C.I. Reactive Orange 91 and C.I. Acid Red 40 and its efficiency for the color removal percent was 100 % for C.I. Reactive Orange 91 and 95 % for C.I. Acid Red 40 in less than 60 min processing time.  相似文献

In order to produce deep shades of colour, ramie fibre was subjected to pretreatment by cationization, caustic mercerization (slack and tension condition), and liquid ammonia mercerization. The untreated and pretreated samples were dyed with 0.5 to 7 % concentrations (on mass of fiber (o.m.f)) of Liyuansol Red FL-2BL reactive dye. The dyeing properties of dye exhaustion, fixation, colour uniformity, wash fastness, and rubbing fastness were investigated. The results indicated that these pretreatments improved dye exhaustion and fixation on ramie fibre, with no loss of fastness. For the untreated and treated substance, the amount of dye mass absorption increased linearly with increased dye o.m.f. Cationic treatment improved performance, with 89 % and 98 % for exhaustion and fixation, respectively, and the maximum K/S values of all fibers receiving pretreatment. The colour uniformity was acceptable and similar for the untreated and treated ramie fibers, with the exception of cationic-treated fabric dyed at 7 % dye o.m.f that showed a high standard deviation value of colour uniformity. The Freundlich and Langmuir adsorption isotherm models were also used to study the adsorption of dye on ramie fibre; all of the adsorption processes fit the Freundlich model.  相似文献

In this paper, Rajshahi silk fabric was modified by acetic acid, tannic acid and their mixture. After acid modification, the silk fabric was dyed with three dyes classes namely: Reactive Orange 14, Direct Yellow 29 and Mordant Blue 9. Results revealed that the fabric modified with acid mixture of 30 % acetic acid and 20 % tannic acid improved the colorfastness of the dyed fabric after 7 days exposure on simulated sunlight and washing with hot soap solution. Also, the acid modification could improve the dyed fabrics’ colorfastness properties to acids and alkalis. Optimum dyeing condition was observed at 1.5, 2.0, and 2.0 % dyes for Reactive Orange 14, Direct Yellow 29 and Mordant Blue 9 respectively. The optimum dyeing time was observed 50, 60, and 50 min; and temperature was 90, 100 and 80 °C respectively. Modification of silk fabrics with acids improves the dyeability and colorfastness of Rajshahi silk fabrics. However, the acid modification could reduce the loss in tenacity of silk fabric upon exposure to sunlight.  相似文献

In this study salt-free dyeing cotton fabric was achieved by grafting thiourea to cotton fibers, where the thiourea grafted cotton fabric (TUGCF) was prepared by epoxidizing cotton fibers with epichlorohydrin in water and subsequently grafting in aqueous solution of thiourea. Fourier transform infrared spectra (FTIR) and XPS of the TUGCF indicated that a great amount of epoxy groups from the epoxidized cotton fibers reacted with amino groups from thiourea. The TUGCF fabric prepared at the optimum condition and subsequently dyed with reactive dyes in the absence of salt displayed significantly enhanced color strength, showing better dyeing properties when compared with the untreated cotton fabric dyed with conventional methods, in terms of washing fastness, rubbing fastness, and levelness. It was found that the dyeing performance of Reactive Red B-3BF followed a Langmuir-type adsorption curve when used to salt-free dye the TUGCF.  相似文献

In this research, SBA-15/polyaniline mesoporous composite was synthesized, characterized, and applied for the adsorption of Reactive Orange 16 (RO 16) as a reactive dye from aqueous media. Fourier transform infra-red spectroscopy (FTIR), field emission scanning electron microscope (FESEM), transmission electron microscope (TEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), thermo gravimetric analysis (TGA), and BET were used to examine the structural characteristics of the obtained adsorbent. The input parameters including pH, dosage, temperature, and contact time were investigated and optimized. The obtained optimized conditions are as follows: pH=2, time=60 min, and adsorbent dose=0.4 g/l. Moreover, predictive models based on MLP (Multi-Layer Perceptron) and RBF (Radial Basis Function) networks were presented to predict the adsorption amount according to the input parameters including pH, dosage, temperature, time, and dye concentration. Two criteria, namely, correlation coefficient (CC) and root mean square error (RMSE) are used between the observed and predicted amounts to validate the models. Comparison of the obtained results using these two models showed that the prediction based on the MLP network model is better than the RBF network.  相似文献

The influence of water vapor plasma on the adsorption of UV absorber during the reactive dyeing of bleached and mercerized cotton fabric was examined. Exhaust dyeing of untreated and plasma-treated cotton was performed using a reactive dye Cibarcon Deep Red S-B and a commercial UV absorber Tinofast CEL. Blank dyeing was performed as a control experiment. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) was used to identify the presence of the UV absorber on the cotton fabric, whereas scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) were used to analyze surface changes of untreated and plasma-treated dyed samples. The CIELAB color values and ultraviolet protection factor (UPF) of the samples were determined spectrophotometrically. Wash and light fastness of samples was performed also. The results reveal that the UPF of cotton increases after UV absorber treatment and that plasma treatment increases the adsorption of UV absorber during dyeing process, especially at higher dye concentrations. The enhanced adsorption of UV absorber onto plasma-treated cotton is the result of the increased concentration of oxygen containing functional groups on the cotton surface after plasma treatment, confirmed by XPS. The UPF of plasma-treated cotton samples is decreased after washing and increased after exposure to xenon light.  相似文献

About 4 different predominant adapted fungal strains (screened from effluent sample) Aspergillus sp., Penicillium sp., Fusarium sp. and Mucor sp. and 4 predominant non-adapted strains (screened from soil, water and fungal fruiting bodies) Aspergillus sp., Penicillium sp., Fusarium sp. and Rhizopus sp., with potential dye decolorization ability on Reactive black 5, Amido black-10B, Red 5B, Reactive red 120 and Anthraquinone violet R were isolated. These organisms were used to develop a consortium which was used in analyzing the bioremediation efficiency on textile effluents containing a mixture of azo dyes. There was about 67% of reduction in color along with 34% of COD reduction by non-adapted fungal consortium while effective bioremediation efficiency was observed in adapted fungal consortium (Color 75% and COD 50%). The regression co-efficient for Langmuir and Freundlich adsorption isotherms were found to be higher for adapted fungal consortium (R2 = 0.97 and R2 = 0.92) than the non-adapted consortium (R2 = 0.97 and R2 = 0.85) proving that both monolayer and multilayer adsorption of dyes were observed on treating the samples with the adapted fungal consortium. On analyzing the results observed through chi-square test, the calculated value (28.712) was higher than the tabulated value (9.49) at a 4 degree freedom hence the hypothesis was rejected. So, there was an association between adapted fungal consortium and non-adapted fungal consortium and hence the adapted fungal consortium could be considered potentially useful for the bioremediation of textile effluent.  相似文献

以鄂西山区收集的12份苎麻属野生种质资源为材料,应用电导法研究了野生材料在高温和低温条件下细胞膜透性的变化,并对这些材料进行了抗炭疽病鉴定。结果表明:在高温处理时所测定的苎麻属野生种的相对电解质渗出率变化范围较大,其中HR-03-03(栽培种野生类型)的耐高温能力最强;低温处理时,不同材料的相对电解质渗出率也存在较大差异,其中HR-01-02、HR-01-04(序叶苎麻)等两份材料耐低温能力较强;不同材料对苎麻炭疽病的抗性差异显著,序叶苎麻和艾麻发病时间晚,病情指数相对较低,其中HR-01-03和HR-01-04的病情指数最低,而两个栽培种野生类型为苎麻炭疽病的高感材料。  相似文献

Coprinus plicatilis, white rot fungi, capable of removing Reactive Orange 16 (Remazol Brillant Orange 3R) was immobilized in calcium alginate gel beads and used for decolorization of RO16 in aqueous in the Batch Shaking Bioreactor. The optimum conditions for immobilization of the microorganism, such as alginate and calcium ion concentration, initial cell amout, hardening time and bead size, were determined with a view to improving the RO16 removal rate. The characteristics of RO16 decolorization by immobilized fungal cells were investigated. The repeated use of immobilized cells for RO16 decolorization was performed and the results revealed that the bioactivity of immobilized cells was stable over 120 hours in the repeated batch cultivation RO16 removal. At the end of decolorization process, the metabolites of the dye decolorization produced by immobilized C. plicatilis, were analyzed via GC-MS. It was concluded that the removal of the dye by immobilized C. plicatilis was achieved.  相似文献

应用一种简便、廉价的细菌脱胶方法对苎麻进行脱胶,研究脱胶后的苎麻纤维性能。结果表明,苎麻细菌脱胶后残胶率1.82%,达到了脱胶要求。且松散了苎麻纤维横截面组织结构,对苎麻中纤维素无破坏,提高了上染色率12%左右,单纤维强力比碱液脱胶的大0.15N/tex,对白度影响不大。说明该脱胶法是一种绿色生产工艺。  相似文献

湘饲纤兼用苎1号是从地方品种咸丰大叶绿的自然变异单株中系统选育的新品种,既可以作为饲用苎麻栽培也可以作为常规纤维用苎麻栽培。2年5点饲用区域试验结果显示:鲜产量为123148.9~138624.7kg/hm^2,平均鲜产量131936.9kg/hm^2,比对照增产17.15%~20.34%,且丰产稳产性好;粗蛋白含量在22.5%,优于对照,粗纤维含量18.5%、粗脂肪含量6.5%、灰分含量13.6%、钙含量3.6%,均低于对照,磷含量0.4%左右,与对照无差异。纤维用区域试验结果显示:平均纤维产量2599.5kg/hm2,比对照平均值低5.2%左右;生产试验平均纤维产量为2676kg/hm2,减产6.5%以内;平均纤维支数2394.8支,比对照湘苎3号和中苎1号分别提高15.22%、22.06%。表明湘饲纤兼用苎1号是一个高产优质的饲纤兼用苎麻新品种。  相似文献

Conventional theory for color matching is Kubelka-Munk, but it fails in some situations. New intelligent procedures such as neural networks could learn the behavior of a complex system and produce accurate prediction. This paper investigates the ability of MLP (multiple layer perceptron) neural network for color matching of cotton fabric. Three reactive dyes, namely Levafix Red CA, Levafix Yellow CA and Levafix Blue CA were used for experiments. The dyed samples were scanned and L * a * b * histogram were extracted. Different neural networks were trained and tested using L * a * b * histogram of fabric’s images and also L * a * b * values (D65, 10°) of fabrics. The results were encouraging. For neural networks including the L * a * b * histogram in input vector, colorants and their concentration were predicted with a mean square error (MSE) less than 10?5 and an average value of color difference (CMC (1:2)) less than 1.5 for approximately 80 % of testing data.  相似文献
