The effects of maturation (green, pink, and ripe) on phenolic composition of strawberry cultivars Camarosa, Dorit, Chandler, and Osmanli and their hybrids were investigated using a high-pressure liquid chromatography (HPLC) method. p-Hydroxybenzoic acid, p-coumaric acid, ellagic acid, cyanidin-3-glucoside, pelargonidin-3-glucoside, kaempferol, quercetin, and myricetin were individually quantified for each stage. The highest amounts of anthocyanins were obtained from ripe fruits whereas ellagic acid was found as the main phenolic in the green fruits. Phenolic concentrations were found statistically different in green and ripe fruits. One hybrid was found to have higher phenolic contents than the other genotypes. The p-hydroxybenzoic and p-coumaric acid levels changed during maturation, but no differences in contents of flavonoids in green and ripe fruit were detected.  相似文献

149 samples of rainwater were collected in the proximity of a power station in northwestern Spain at three rainwater monitoring stations. We analyze the resulting data using multivariate statistical techniques. Firstly, the Principal Component Analysis shows that there are three main sources of pollution in the area (a marine source, a rural source and an acid source). The impact from pollution from these sources on the immediate environment of the stations is studied using Factorial Discriminant Analysis.  相似文献

Strawberry contains high levels of micronutrients and phytochemical compounds. These exhibit functional roles in plant growth and metabolism and are also essential for the nutritional and organoleptic qualities of the fruit. The aim of the present work was to better characterize the phytochemical and antioxidant profiles of the fruit of nine different genotypes of strawberry, by measuring the total flavonoid, anthocyanin, vitamin C, and folate contents. Cultivar effects on the total antioxidant capacities of strawberries were also tested. In addition, the individual contribution of the main antioxidant compounds was assessed by HPLC separation coupled to an online postcolumn antioxidant detection system. This study showed the important role played by the genetic background on the chemical and antioxidant profiles of strawberry fruits. Significant differences were found between genotypes for the total antioxidant capacity and for all tested classes of compounds. The HPLC analyses confirmed qualitative and quantitative variability in the antioxidant profiles. These studies show that differences exist among cultivars, applicable in dietary studies in human subjects.  相似文献

Multivariate statistical technique was used to determine the potassium (K+) status and to assess soil fertility and K leaching potential in some calcareous soils. Water-soluble K+ (H2O-K) and ammonium acetate-extractable K+ (NH4OAc-K) ranged from 0.019 to 0.590 (mean value 0.095) and 0.390 to 3.320 (mean value 0.954) cmolc kg-1, respectively. The nitric acid-extractable K+ (HNO3-K) varied from 1.03 to 13.63 (mean value 5.37) cmolc kg-1. The proportion of H2O-K ranged from 0.34% to 14.8% of HNO3-K, and 2.2% to 53.2% of NH4OAc-K. The proportion of NH4OAc-K ranged from 5.8% to 80% of HNO3-K (mean value 23% of HNO3-K). The tendency of the soil to lose K+ by leaching was examined by determining K+-Ca2+ exchange isotherms. The soils mostly had moderate to high values of K+ sorption capacity, ranging from 10% to 58% (mean value 28%) of added K+. The Gapon coefficient varied widely from 1.1 to 12.0 (L mol-1)-1/2. Clay minerals were dominated by illite, smectites and vermiculite with small amounts of kaolinite. Principal component analysis (PCA) showed that the first four components accounted for 27.7%, 21.4%, 13.8%, and 8.9% of total variation, respectively. The non-hierarchical cluster analysis (k-means clustering) grouped 75 sampling sites into six clusters, based on the similarity of soil quality characteristics. The results suggested that such classes could form a basis for variable-rate application to maintain an adequate K+ status for crop production and to reduce potential K+ loss from soil by leaching.  相似文献

以高硝酸盐积累品种四月慢和低硝酸盐积累品种华冠青梗菜为材料,采用溶液培养方法,测定了0.2和2mmol/L NO3-处理下的硝酸盐积累量和硝酸还原酶活性,并应用Real-Time PCR技术检测了NO3-吸收基因NRT1和NRT2的表达量。结果表明:(1)除0.2 mmol/L NO3-处理时的叶片硝酸盐含量没有显著差异外,四月慢植株各部位的硝酸盐含量都显著高于华冠青梗菜,高浓度培养使品种间硝酸盐积累量差异增加,四月慢对NO3-水平增加的响应能力强于华冠青梗菜。(2)吸收液NO3-浓度12~0 mmol/L范围内,四月慢对NO3-离子吸收速率显著高于华冠青梗菜,且在高浓度下表现更显著。(3)在2 mmol/L NO3-处理下,NRT2在根、叶片、叶柄中的表达量都是四月慢显著高于华冠青梗菜,NRT1的表达量只有在根中四月慢显著高于华冠青梗菜,而在叶片和叶柄中都没有显著差异;在0.2 mmol/L NO3-处理下,NRT1和NRT2表达情况相同,都是在叶片和叶柄中四月慢显著高于华冠青梗菜,而在根中表达量品种间没有显著差异。(4)NRT1和NRT2的表达在一定程度上可以解释硝酸盐积累量的差异,可能还有其他的基因对硝酸盐积累的基因型差异起重要作用,尤其是0.2 mmol/L NO3-处理时。(5)四月慢的硝酸还原酶活性显著高于华冠青梗菜,即四月慢对硝酸根同化利用的能力强于华冠青梗菜。  相似文献

通过不同生育时期植株各部位的氮素分析,研究了不同商品有机肥和有机无机复混肥对大田草莓(FragariaAnanassa.c.v.Dutch.)植株生长及氮素吸收分配的影响。结果表明,施用不同肥料品种均可促进植物氮素吸收,提高氮素积累速率,促进氮素向果实中分配。在施等量氮素养分条件下,草莓器官的氮素吸收状况对不同氮肥品种反应不一。尽管无机肥处理的氮素积累速率和地上部全氮含量较高,但施用商品有机肥较无机氮肥或有机无机复混肥更能促进草莓生长发育和草莓果实产量的增加,说明无机氮不宜作为草莓基肥一次性施用。结果还表明,施肥处理氮素的日均积累量平均为10.8.mg/plant,而不施肥处理仅为5.1.mg/plant。在果实采收末期,不同处理草莓各器官的氮素分配趋势为果实茎和叶柄叶片根系。施用纯有机肥(OFA和OFB),果实中吸收的氮素超过植株吸收总量的一半,分别占53.5%和51.7%,无机氮肥处理(UN)和有机无机复混肥处理(OIF)的果实氮素分配率分别只有46.1%和39.8%。  相似文献

The substrate specificity of alcohol acyltransferase (AAT) enzymes from different strawberry varieties was studied. Proteins with AAT activity from fruits of Fragaria x ananassa Duch. cv. Oso Grande were purified to apparent homogeneity and used for kinetic studies with different straight-chain alcohols and acyl-CoAs. K(m) values obtained for Oso Grande enzyme with six different alcohols, using acetyl-CoA as cosubstrate, decreased with increasing length of the alcohol chain. In similar experiments the increase in the acyl-CoA carbon chain was also found to be correlated with a higher substrate specificity. Heptanol (K(m) = 0.73 mM) and hexanoyl-CoA (K(m) = 0.41 mM) were the best substrates for Oso Grande AAT. Comparative catalytic studies were carried out with AAT partially purified extracts from the wild type Fragaria vesca and five commercial strawberry varieties: Tudnew, Carisma, Camarosa, Sweet Charlie, and Eris. The specificities of these enzymes toward five selected alcohols and acyl-CoAs reflected interesting cultivar differences.  相似文献

At present, the penetrometer is the most widely used instrument for assessing in situ soil strength, one of the extrinsic factors affecting plant growth and crop productivity. In this paper we propose a method that discriminates penetrometer resistance due to different soil treatments, by means of Principal Component (PC) analysis. We hypothesized and demonstrated that penetrometer resistance values measured at different soil depths are correlated among themselves (multicollinearity). Considering measurements at each depth as different variables, PC analysis restructured data sets containing these correlated variables into a smaller number of components, whose scores were utilized in univariate analysis of variance (ANOVA) to test differences among imposed soil treatments. We applied the procedure to penetrometer resistance values measured by means of a hand-held cone penetrometer in two long-term experiments conducted in southern Italy, on durum wheat (Triticum durum Desf.) under continuous cropping. In the first trial, four different soil tillage treatments were compared; in the second, two different tillages and two residue management systems were examined. In both trials, PC analysis reduced the original 14 depths of measurements into only 4 PC's, based on correlations of their resistance values, explaining more than 80% of the total variation. Furthermore, ANOVA applied to the scores of each PC, clearly indicated treatment effects on soil strength.

The proposed method has thus allowed assemblage a posteriori of penetration resistance data into only a few significative intervals, using correlations among the measurements made at the different depths. This way, the possible resistance differences due to tillage and/or management treatments have been more easily and more unambiguously showed.  相似文献

Multivariate methods were used to present the results of different postharvest treatments applied to control superficial scald disorder in Granny Smith apples. In a two-season study, the treatments applied by dips were diphenylamine (DPA), Semperfresh (a sucrose ester coating) formulated alone or with either ascorbyl palmitate or n-propyl gallate, and CaCl(2). DPA correlated negatively with scald, whereas the rest of the treatments showed no clear relationship with the disorder. By means of partial least squares, the incidence of superficial scald after cold storage was shown to correlate with quality parameters (firmness and acidity), measured at the end of storage. In contrast, ethylene production did not appear as a relevant factor in the incidence of scald.  相似文献

The aim of this work is to explore the suitability of the complementary use of mass spectra and the corresponding statistical analysis (principal components-Pareto analysis (PCA) and discriminant analysis (DA)) of these spectra to differentiate diverse humic samples as a function of their structural and conformational features. To this end, the mass spectra of humic samples belonging to the main humic fraction types (gray humic acid, brown humic acid, and fulvic acid) were obtained by electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (ESI-MS). The results obtained showed that the application of PCA yielded a clear separation between blanks and humic samples. However, a clear differentiation among the humic fraction types was not achieved. The DA of PCA data, however, yielded a clear separation among the humic substances (HS) samples belonging to each HS fraction type considered: gray humic acids, brown humic acids, and fulvic acids. These results showed that the mass spectra of each humic sample include characteristic mass/charge (m/z) distribution values that can be considered as a "fingerprint" representative of its specific structural features. Our results also indicate that, although the m/z values principally corresponded to single-charged ions, we cannot identify these molecular weight distributions with those of humic samples, since sample molecular fragmentation, as well as partial molecular ionization, cannot be ruled out under our experimental and instrumental conditions.  相似文献

The intake of lupin-based foods could imply the exposure of consumers to quinolizidine alkaloids. The objectives of this study were to assess the genetic variation among and within 11 geographic regions of Lupinus albus ecotypes, verify the quinolizidine alkaloids amount of alkaloid-poor L. albus and Lupinus angustifolius varieties, and assess the effect of two climatically contrasting Italian environments on the alkaloid content. The quantitation was performed by GC-MS, and in all samples lupanine was the most abundant quinolizidine alkaloid, followed by albine and 13alpha-hydroxylupanine for L. albus and by 13alpha-hydroxylupanine and angustifoline for L. angustifolius. Some regions tended to have a high (Azores) or low (Egypt, Near East, Maghreb) total alkaloids content, but the variation among ecotypes within regions was larger than that among regions following the estimation of variance components. Alkaloid-poor varieties tended to have higher total alkaloid contents when grown in the subcontinental climate site, exceeding in some cases the limit of 0.200 mg/g.  相似文献

采用溶液培养方法研究了不同水稻品种获取氮能力的差异及其原因。结果表明,在不同供氮水平下,不同水稻品种吸氮能力差异显著。随着供氮水平的提高,南光、豫粳7号、黔育421和武运粳7号的氮积累总量增加显著,说明这4个水稻品种对氮的响应度高;而桂单4号、ELIO、云粳38和4007的氮积累总量增加不显著,说明它们对氮的响应度低。对氮响应度高的4个水稻品种的平均吸氮速率随着供氮水平的增加其增幅显著,而其总根长的变化幅度则较小。水稻氮积累总量与总根长和平均吸氮速率的相关关系的分析结果表明,平均吸氮速率对水稻苗期获取氮能力的贡献率大于其总根长的贡献率。  相似文献

采用盆栽试验研究了低磷胁迫下不同基因型水稻在分蘖期、孕穗期和成熟期的生物学特征。结果表明,不同基因型水稻在不同的生长发育阶段对低磷胁迫的反应存在明显差异。分蘖期,耐低磷基因型水稻的耐低磷特性主要表现在相对分蘖数、相对绿叶数和相对地上部干重三个性状上,其中以相对分蘖数的差异较大,但这个时期水稻的任一性状不足以反映其耐低磷特性;孕穗期,耐低磷基因型水稻的相对分蘖数、相对绿叶数和相对地上部干重虽仍表现出明显的优势,但与分蘖期不同的是相对分蘖数受低磷胁迫的影响程度趋于稳定,相对绿叶数的差异明显下降,相对干重的高低逐步成为区别耐低磷基因型的主要依据;成熟期,耐低磷基因型的相对地上部干重优势进一步加强,远远超过其它生物学性状。耐低磷基因型的相对经济产量显著高于低磷敏感基因型。在水稻生长的各个时期中,耐低磷基因型水稻的相对株高、相对叶宽和相对叶长与低磷敏感基因型水稻对应的指标相比均未表现出明显差异。  相似文献

以磷高效型小麦小偃54和磷低效型小麦京411为研究对象设计三室根箱试验,通过测定生物量、吸磷量、pH和酸性磷酸酶,对比两种小麦在不同磷水平(P0 mg/kg土、100 mg/kg土)及两种不同土壤上(石灰性黑垆土、酸性红壤)根际特征的差异。试验结果表明,黑垆土上,增施磷肥使小偃54的总生物量增加了14.99%,京411增加了26.53%,总吸磷量二者分别增加了99.29%和83.70%;红壤的速效磷含量高,施肥仅提高了磷低效型小麦京411的生物量。黑垆土上磷胁迫并未造成小偃54与京411各部分生物量和吸磷量的显著性差异,但小偃54的根际pH降低值和酸性磷酸酶的活性却已显著高于京411;P0处理时,红壤上小偃54的地上部和总生物量显著高于京411,虽然红壤的速效磷含量高于黑垆土,但在P0处理时两种小麦在两种土壤上的生物量和吸磷量并无显著性差异。就根际分泌物而言,石灰性黑垆土上,小偃54的根系在低磷胁迫下通过降低pH和分泌酸性磷酸酶来活化土壤中难溶态的磷,而在红壤上小偃54的pH和酸性磷酸酶的活性保持稳定。酸性红壤中两种小麦酸性磷酸酶活性显著高于石灰性黑垆土。由此可见,两种磷效率小麦在两种不同性质土壤上活化机理存在差异。  相似文献

This experiment was conducted in a glasshouse at the Agricultural and Natural Resources Research Center of Zarghan, Iran, in 2016. Sixteen wheat genotypes were compared under four salinity levels [control, 50, 100, and 150 mM sodium chloride (NaCl)] in terms of grain yield, chlorophyll (SPAD), flag leaf area, Na+/K+ ratio, catalase, and peroxidase activities in a randomized complete block design with three replications. Overall, results indicated that apparently no single parameter or a specific group of parameters could be suggested as factors of the most responsive element to different salinity stress levels. In other words, the tolerance mechanism of wheat genotypes is a complex response of multiple factors as a network path. Furthermore, different salinity levels led to different responses of wheat genotypes, which were detectable by the results of the mean comparison and analysis of variance. These results also proved the influential effects of the genetic background on salinity response and tolerance of wheat genotypes. In addition, antioxidants acting as defense barriers against reactive oxygen species are very important constituents against salinity, since higher antioxidant activity leads to alleviate the oxidative stress caused by salinity. Higher osmolyte concentration regulating the selective uptake of useful ions can prevent excess accumulation of toxic ions, which contribute to salinity stress damages. A high variation related to the measured traits in this study under both normal and salinity stress conditions was achieved, which could be applied in screening and breeding programs for salinity stress tolerance. Moreover, the responses of different genotypes varied regarding the different traits; SU-0129 as a novel genotype has proved to be the best choice for further breeding research based on the overall traits and, in particular, grain yield and tolerance stress index.  相似文献

Nuclear RFLPs were used to study the genetic relationships of 2 Portuguese coles, tronchuda cabbage and Galega kale, and 13 otherBrassica oleracea cultivars and 4 nine-chromosome wild brassicas. Cluster and principal coordinates analysis were conducted using RFLP data from 60 probe-enzyme combinations, detecting 277 polymorphic restriction fragments. The results showed that the accessions clustered in five groups: one with all theB. oleracea cultivars except kailan, and the four others isolated with kailan, wildB. oleracea, B. insularis andB. cretica, andB. montana, respectively. Kailan was separated from the other accessions ofB. oleracea cultivars and genetically close to the wildB. oleracea, that was clearly separated from the other nine-chromosome wild brassicas. In theB. oleracea cultivars 3 groupings were clearly individualized: i) including broccolis and cauliflower; ii) with a misture of kales and cabbages originally from Central-North Europe; iii) formed by Portuguese coles. These preliminary results suggest the existence of three major regions of domestication of B. oleracea in Europe: Italy, Central-North Europe and Portugal. Kailan or chinese kale seems to have evolved separately from the otherB. oleracea cultivars in Eastern Asia.  相似文献
