Owing to heavy criticisms of nearshore fish farming for causing environmental pollution and encroaching on sea space used for shipping, boating, recreational sea activities and marine eco-tourism, offshore fish farming has now being seriously considered. Moreover an offshore site provides more pristine water and greater space for increased fish production. However, offshore fish farming poses challenges such as a more energetic sea environment. A higher sea current can lead to large deformation of fish net and hence a net volume reduction which compromises fish welfare. With the view to identifying the effects of various important parameters on net volume reduction of a gravity-type open-net fish cage, this paper adopts a mass-spring model for the dynamic analysis of current-induced net deformations of cylindrical fish nets with discrete weights hanging at the bottom edge of the nets. In this model, the net mesh comprises knot nodes and bar nodes connected by tension-only massless springs. The spring stiffness is determined from the net bar diameters and material properties. The current-induced loads are applied to each node and calculated based on Morrison’s equation. The governing equation system for nodal motions can be established according to Newton’s second law, and solved by using the Runge-Kutta method for the real-time net deformations. The effects of net string reinforcements, weight distributions and net shapes on the net volume reduction are studied with the view to shed insights into how one may improve fish cage designs to effectively mitigate net deformation under high sea current speeds in offshore fish farming sites.  相似文献

为保障深远海金属网箱养殖系统的结构安全,进行网箱结构的水动力学研究是一项重要的工作。构成金属网箱主要组成部分的金属网衣是一种小直径多孔的网状结构,在波浪和水流作用下的水动力学特性与一般的海洋工程结构物有显著不同。本文基于有限元基本原理,采用梁单元模拟金属网线结构,采用连接单元模拟网线接触部位的相互作用,并运用ABAQUS软件进行数值计算,在试验验证的基础上,分析了在水流作用下一种金属菱形链网衣在不同网目尺寸、不同网线直径情况下的水阻力变化情况。数值模拟结果表明在各种工况下,当网目尺寸由25 mm增加到35 mm、45 mm时,网衣受力增加幅度的平均值分别为14.71%和38.07%;当网线直径由2.5 mm增加到3.2 mm、4.0 mm时,各工况下网衣受力增加幅度的平均值分别为25.05%和45.06%。研究结果可以为进一步开展深海养殖金属网箱水动力特性研究提供积极的基础。  相似文献

Abstract The relationship between the amount of square mesh in codends and selectivity was investigated for an Australian penaeid stow‐net fishery. Three lengths (3, 2 and 1 m) of square‐mesh codend made from 27‐mm mesh hung on the bar were alternately tested with a conventional 34‐mm diamond‐mesh design during two covered‐codend experiments. Compared with the conventional codend, the square‐mesh configurations incrementally selected school prawns, Metapenaeus macleayi (Haswell) across narrower selection ranges (SR) and mostly at greater sizes at 50% retention (L50), while retaining fewer fish. Irrespective of the mesh configuration or square‐mesh codend length, there were significant differences between experiments (attributed to water flow) and impacts of catch weight on the selectivity of school prawns. Both variables had a negative relationship with L50, while water flow similarly affected SR. This study reaffirms the utility of square‐mesh codends as a key input control for managing the selectivity of penaeid‐catching gears.  相似文献

近年来,深远海渔业养殖装备已引起国内外相关领域的广泛关注,其中网衣系统是渔业平台的重要组成部分。网衣属于小尺度柔性构件,在水动力作用下会产生变形,其阻力性能预报归于水弹性问题的范畴。目前,出现了1种较先进的基于非线性有限元的网衣水动力计算方法,该方法将势流理论与有限元方法相结合,用于求解网衣受力和变形。文章采用该方法计算一型重力式网箱的阻力性能,并将计算结果与试验数据进行比较,结果表明,采用该方法可以较好地预报网衣阻力性能,从而为开展大型深远海渔业平台网衣系统的阻力计算夯实基础。  相似文献

固定方式对水流作用下桩柱式围网网片力学特性的影响   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
采用集中质量点法和网目群化法,结合数值模拟技术探讨了桩柱式围网网片单元在水流作用下的力学特性,着重分析了不同网片宽度和固定方式下网片单元的网线张力分布、节点偏移和网片系缚点受力特性。结果显示,水流作用下,桩柱式围网网片的最大张力主要分布于网片顶部和底部力纲的两侧,最大张力值与网片宽度成正比;网片的最大偏移部位主要分布于网片的上下端,最大偏移量与网片宽度成正比;系缚点最大受力出现在网片的顶端和底部,且其受力在数值上均远远大于中间系缚点;研究发现,随着系缚点数的增加,各系缚点的受力不断下降,网线张力和偏移量也迅速减小;当系缚点超过一定数量时,网线张力和偏移量将不再显著下降,表明存在一个临界系缚点数。本研究可为桩柱式围网工程的设计与安装提供参考。  相似文献

In our previous research, the hydrodynamic behavior of a two-dimensional (2D) plane fishing net in current was simulated. Based on the research, a model of a three-dimensional (3D) net is established by using the lumped mass method. To verify the validity of the numerical model, model test results by other authors are cited and compared with the numerical results. The simulated results are in good agreement with experimental ones. In this paper, the 3D net model is applied to investigate the effects of structure size ratio (RDH) and mesh type on the 3D net deformation of the gravity cage in current. The numerical results indicate that the decrease of RDH is practically feasible in improving the cage net deformation. With a sinker system the net deformation with diamond mesh is greater than that with square mesh. When the bottom-collar sinker system is applied, with an increase in current velocity, the net deformation with diamond mesh is less than with square mesh. The results of this study provide a better understanding of the hydrodynamic behavior of the gravity cage.  相似文献

ABSTRACT:   Fishing experiments were carried out in Yeongil Bay, Korea using an encircling gill net with four different mesh sizes and two different hanging ratios to measure the mesh selectivity for gizzard shad Konosirus punctatus . Twenty-six trials were conducted giving a total catch of 485 gizzard shad. The 'share each length's catch total' (SELECT) analysis with maximum likelihood method was used to fit the different functional models, the normal, lognormal, and bi-normal model, for a selectivity curve to the catch data. In addition, two cases in which the relative fishing intensity was either estimated or fixed were compared. The bi-normal model with the fixed relative fishing intensity was found to fit the data best. For the selectivity curve on the bi-normal model, the relative length (the ratio of fish length to mesh size) with the maximum efficiency was obtained as 3.70. From this, the focal fish lengths in the commercial encircling gill net, with mesh size ranging from 5.0 to 6.0 cm, were inferred to be 18.5–22.2 cm.  相似文献

Abstract  A non-linear growth model was used to evaluate the effects of temperature and age on annual length increments of pikeperch, Sander lucioperca (L.), in seven lakes in Finland. Length increments were derived by back-calculation using the Fraser–Lee method. Annual length increments increased from age 1 to age 3 and then decreased, while at the same time length increments and air temperature had positive correlation until age 12. Age- and size-structured yield per recruit models were used in two lakes to evaluate the effects of temperature and gillnet mesh size on pikeperch yield. In these two lakes maximum yield could be obtained with 60 and 70 mm (bar length) gill nets. In the second lake, as typically in Finland, 45–50 mm gill nets are the most frequently used. The use of larger mesh size gill nets would increase pikeperch yield from 685 to 1000 g per recruit based on the present mean temperature. In both lakes increase in temperatures would increase yield if mesh size is simultaneously increased. Higher pikeperch yield can be expected in the future because of climate warming.  相似文献

网目尺寸对金枪鱼围网沉降性能及网具形态的影响   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
根据以往的研究结果和海上网具性能实测,并在听取生产第一线船长意见的基础上,把上海开创远洋渔业有限公司现行金枪鱼围网主网衣下部约三分之一网衣的网目尺寸放大50%,即从260 mm增大到390 mm,以探讨改进围网渔具的沉降性能。实验应用田内准则换算并制作成模型网,在日本下关西日本日网公司专业围网动水槽进行模型试验,比较了侧流、背流、顺流(流速8 cm/s,相当实物网0.20 m/s)3种相对流向的放网模式下放网以及无流(0 cm/s)海况下放网,网目尺寸改变前后围网的沉降性能、网具形态和闭合效果。结果显示,主网衣下部网目尺寸从30 mm (对照网,相当于实物网网目尺寸260 mm)放大到45 mm (试验网,相当于实物网网目尺寸390 mm),网具的沉降深度和沉降速度分别提高1.6%和1.1%;试验网的收绞时间比对照网缩短14.3%,且能保持较好的形态;有流时的3种放网模式下,试验网和对照网浮子纲在放网结束时刻的初始包围面积基本相同;在收绞结束时,试验网浮子纲包围面积为对照网的1.33倍,绞纲结束前6 s,试验网沉子纲包围面积为对照网的1.79倍,说明增大网目尺寸有利于网具包围面积的增大,改善了被围鱼群的活动空间。  相似文献

自升式桁架网箱凭借便于将养殖箱体下潜入水的结构特性,为更好地适应深远海养殖极端环境提供了一种选择。网衣作为桁架网箱关键部件,通过纲绳系缚于桁架管上,在外部环境载荷作用下可能会对网箱主体结构强度产生影响。针对一种自升式桁架网箱,基于SESAM/GeniE建立其有限元分析模型,分析了在有无网衣及不同网衣参数条件下的网箱主体结构响应。结果表明:网衣对网箱主体结构响应评估存在较大影响,尤其在流速较高时,网衣阻力大幅增加,直接影响网箱桩腿受力和桁架利用系数 (Utilization factor, UF) 值,证明在校核网箱主体结构强度时不可忽略网衣的作用;不同网目群化比下,网衣对自升式深海网箱整体结构响应评估结果影响不大,在网箱主体结构响应仿真计算中可以考虑使用较大的网衣群化比来提升计算效率;网衣系缚纲绳数量变化对网箱主体结构的响应评估基本无影响,但增加系缚纲绳可以有效减少纲绳受力。

利用几何相似原理将传统的过滤性渔具选择性曲线转化为选择性曲面。运用选择性方程,并假设不同网目大小的渔具对相同尺寸渔获个体的渔获服从多项分布后,对过滤性渔具的网目选择性建立模型。使用极大似然估计法对模型进行拟合,同时,通过假设检验对模型进行简化。使用平行作业法试验条件下的张网渔具的黄鲫(Setipinrm taty)渔获数据进行模型拟合。结果显示,所建模型可以在没有对照网的情况下估算出各不同网目大小网囊的选择率,并同样适用于套网法试验条件下的选择性分析。模型的建立为今后进行过滤性渔具网目选择性试验方法改革提供了理论参考。通过与SELECT模型比较,认为模型使用选择性方程并区分渔获能力和捕捞努力量使得模型更具普遍性。  相似文献

ABSTRACT:   To investigate fish density using rigid-mouth, towed net gear, such as a framed midwater trawl (FMT), it is necessary to know the catch efficiency. The catch efficiency with an FMT is described as the rate of fish entering the net (entering rate) versus the rate of fish retention, i.e. the mesh selectivity. This study investigated the change in the catch efficiency under several towing conditions using three types of FMT of different net mouth areas (4.0, 12.3, and 16.0 m2) with the same mesh size. The catch efficiency of the FMT was evaluated by comparing catch per unit effort obtained from each towing condition. The catch efficiency of FMT varied with towing speed and net mouth area. Particularly, the effect of net mouth area on the catch efficiency was greater than that of towing speed. Additionally, under the same towing condition, the catch efficiency for large length fish was lower than that for small length fish.  相似文献

套网法是一种比较常用的选择性研究试验方法,但是,使用套网法会对网囊网目选择性产生一定的影响.通过使用5种不同规格的方形网目网囊分别进行试验,比较两种不同的试验方法即套网法和平行作业法对张网渔具网囊网目选择性进行研究.结果显示,使用平行作业法估算的50%选择体长比使用套网法所得的大7.8%,选择范围比套网法的估算值小24.5%,选择性因素比套网法估算值大7.4%,但差异并不显著(P>0.05).在张网渔具最适网目试验中,如果直接使用套网法的试验结果制定最小网目,那么这一尺寸会偏大,造成部分鱼类过多释放.  相似文献

根据捕捞目标的生物学习性和体型特征,设计了一种捕捞三疣梭子蟹(Portunus trituberculatus)的专用定置三重刺网并进行了生产试验。所设计的刺网主尺度为50.00 m×1.08 m,上纲长50.00 m,下纲长66.00 m;内网衣规格为1 200目×18.5目,目大120 mm;外网衣规格为200目×2.5目,目大500 mm。2015年9月4—26日在莱州湾渔场进行了生产试验。结果表明,新刺网所捕获的三疣梭子蟹平均体重为175.69 g,单位捕捞努力量渔获量(CPUE)为1.61 kg/(片·次),主捕率高,其中梭子蟹产量占总渔获量的99.31%。新设计的刺网,下纲比上纲长32%,网衣底部较松弛,提高了网衣对梭子蟹的缠络性能,因而提高了捕捞效率;内网衣网目较大,利于释放幼鱼,网高较低,减小了捕获中上层鱼类的几率,因此,兼捕率较低,有利于渔业资源的保护。  相似文献

Abstract The length distribution of adult sea trout, Salmo trutta L., from a commercial seine net fishery using a nominal minimum mesh size of 50 mm or 102 mm is described. The smaller mesh size captured sea trout larger than 210 mm whilst the larger mesh size caught sea trout mainly above 400 mm, with no fish below 320 mm. A sea trout length/ girth relationship is described, and coupled with biological data allowed the calculation of mesh sizes for the appropriate escapement of different sea ages of sea trout.  相似文献
