生物过滤法去除死猪堆肥排放臭气效果的中试   总被引:1,自引:2,他引:1  
为研究生物过滤法去除死猪堆肥发酵处理过程产生臭气以及挥发性有机物(volatile organic compounds,VOCs)的可行性,开展了死猪和猪粪混合堆肥试验,分析了死猪堆肥过程臭气浓度特性和VOCs组分特征,对生物过滤法去除臭气中VOCs的工艺关键参数-停留时间进行优化试验。死猪堆肥过程中排放VOCs种类达37种,其中主要致臭组分为三甲胺、二甲基硫、二甲基二硫、二甲基三硫;以腐熟猪粪堆肥作为滤料(添加3%活性污泥),在停留时间为30~100 s的条件下,生物过滤法对死猪堆肥排放臭气去除率达90%以上;停留时间60~100 s的条件下对VOCs中主要致臭组分的去除效率达82.2%~100%,生物过滤法去除死猪堆肥过程臭气浓度和VOCs的优化停留时间为60 s。研究结果能为死猪堆肥发酵过程排放臭气的处理和控制技术进一步研发提供科学依据。  相似文献

为了解决填料及单层滤塔中压降大、效率低的问题,以单层玉米芯生物滤塔为对照,研究了多层生物滤塔对低浓度H2S气体的净化效果,其适宜的工艺条件和生物降解宏观动力学。结果表明:填料分层填充可提高废气中H2S去除率,当进气浓度低于140 mg/m3时,H2S的去除率90%以上;H2S进气容积负荷、去除率与填料层填充厚度有一定的相关性,负荷低于42.2 g/(m3·d),下层200 mm填料对H2S总去除率的贡献在95%以上;填料含水率为55%~70%,生物滤塔的微生物活性较高,净化效率高;试验条件下,采用Michaelis-Menten模型进行生物降解宏观动力学研究,其中半饱和常数为12.4 mg/m3,污染物最大去除速率为909 g/(m3·d)。试验表明:多层生物滤塔净化效果优于单层,其气流分布更均匀,停留时间延长,压降低,效率高;在适宜的工艺条件下运行3个月,对H2S净化效率均稳定在90%以上,为进一步研究及工程应用提供理论指导。  相似文献

While composting transforms manure wastes into useful fertilizer, it also produces odors during the decomposition process. Biofiltration is a desirable method to control composting odor. This study was conducted to investigate the efficiency of using compost as a biofilter. A mixture of cattle manure and fresh compost was composted in a bin equipped with a suction-type blower. The exhaust gas was filtered through the biofilter of fresh compost. The composting temperature affected the ammonia emission. When the composting temperature was relatively high, the highest ammonia emission appeared in two experiments. The biofiltering properties were investigated according to flow rates and filter depths for two different types of fresh composts (experiment I and II). At the flow rate of 30 L/min, ammonia removal rate was 80.5% for biofilter A(detention time 56.5 s) and 99.9% for biofilter B (detention time 113 s). At the flow rate of 50 L/min, the ammonia removal rate was 82.5% for biofilter A (detention time 33.9 s) and 97.4% for biofilter B (detention time 67.8). The fresh compost could be used as a biofilter medium for odor control during composting process. The moisture content(MC) of the biofilter material increased by absorbing moisture from the exhaust gas, while the pH was decreased due to the degradation of nitrogenous compounds. As the moisture in the exhaust gas increased the MC of the biofilter, there was no need to spray water to the biofilter medium to control moisture content. While the total nitrogen(T-N) of the biofilter increased by absorbing ammonia, the total carbon (T-C) remained unchanged resulting in decrease of the C/N ratio.  相似文献

Deodorization of swine manure using minced horseradish roots and peroxides   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Public concerns about offensive odors from livestock manures are on the rise and so is the pressure to develop practical ways to reduce the odors. The use of minced horseradish (Armoracia rusticanaL) roots (1:10 w/v plant tissue to swine slurry ratio), with calcium peroxide (CaO2 at 26 or 34 mM) or hydrogen peroxide (H2O2 at 34, 52, or 68 mM) for the deodorization of swine manure, was evaluated through a series of laboratory experiments. The principle underlying this deodorization method is the oxidation of odorants by the concerted action of horseradish peroxidase (present in the plant tissue) and peroxide that serves as an electron acceptor, followed by polymerization of phenolic odorants with a possible copolymerization or adsorption of other odorant compounds. The deodorization effect was assessed by a human panel and gas chromatography (GC). In the case of the GC method, 12 compounds commonly associated with malodor (7 volatile fatty acids or VFAs, 3 phenolic compounds, and 2 indolic compounds) were used as odor indicators. Malodor assessment of the treated slurry by a human panel indicated a 50% reduction in odor intensity. GC results showed 100% removal of all phenolic odorants without reoccurrence for at least 72 h. In view of these data, using plant materials as enzyme carriers and peroxides as electron acceptors emerges as an effective approach to phenolic odor control in animal manure.  相似文献

不同原料好氧发酵产生的臭气物质组分和浓度存在差异。以牛粪和玉米秸秆为原料研究好氧发酵过程挥发性有机物(Volatile Organic Compound,VOCs)的产排特征及主要致臭物质,开展牛粪好氧发酵试验,采用气相色谱-质谱法分析测定发酵升温期、高温期、降温期及腐熟期等不同发酵阶段的VOCs组分和浓度,硼酸溶液吸收,盐酸滴定法测定NH3,便携式检测器(Tion NH3-H2S 300 G)测定H2S,3点比较式臭袋法测定不同发酵阶段臭气浓度。结果表明,牛粪好氧发酵过程中共检出31种VOCs,其中含硫化合物42种,醇类1种,酯类1种,酮类1种,卤代烃4种,苯系物9种,烷烃类8种,烯烃3种;在好氧发酵高温期臭气浓度最高为724(无量纲),VOCs产生与排放主要在高温期。基于恶臭污染排放标准和恶臭物质气味活度值,并结合各物质检出率、GS-MS图谱及相关性分析,发现NH3、H2S、甲硫醚是牛粪好氧发酵过程的主要致臭物质;其次芳香族化合物对臭气浓度贡献也相对较大,应进行重点监测与控制。该研究可为牛粪好氧发酵过程臭气物质减控提供理论支撑。  相似文献

Three forms of Thai fried chili pastes (CP) were prepared, consisting of an unheated CP (UH-CP), a CP heated at 100 degrees C for 25 min (H25-CP, typical product), and a CP excessively heated for 50 min (H50-CP). The potent odorants in the CPs were investigated by two gas chromatography-olfactometry methods: dynamic headspace dilution analysis (DHDA) and aroma extract dilution analysis (AEDA). DHDA revealed that the predominant odorants in heated CPs were mainly sulfur-containing compounds, followed by lipid-derived compounds, Strecker aldehydes, and Maillard reaction products. Dimethyl sulfide, allyl mercaptan, 2- (or 3-) methylbutanal, ally methyl sulfide, 2,3-butanedione, 3,3'-thiobis(1-propene), and methyl propyl disulfide were among the most potent headspace odorants detected by DHDA. By AEDA, 2-vinyl-4 H-1,3-dithiin and diallyl trisulfide had the highest FD factors in H25-CP. On the basis of their high FD factors by both GCO methods, the predominant odorants in H25-CP were 3-vinyl-4 H-1,2-dithiin, allyl methyl disulfide, and allyl methyl trisulfide. Furthermore, dimethyl trisulfide and diallyl disulfide had the highest odor activity values in H25-CP, suggesting that these were also potent odorants in CP. In addition, methional, 3-methylbutanoic acid, 4-hydroxy-2,5-dimethyl-3-(2 H)-furanone, and 3-hydroxy-4,5-dimethyl-2( 5H)-furanone (sotolon) were indicated as potent thermally derived odorants of H25-CP.  相似文献

Gas chromatography-olfactometry (GC-O) and proton transfer reaction-mass spectrometry (PTR-MS) techniques were used to deduce the profile of odor-active and volatile compounds of three grana cheeses: Grana Padano (GP), Parmigiano Reggiano (PR), and Grana Trentino (GT). Samples for GC-O analysis were prepared by dynamic headspace extraction, while a direct analysis of the headspace formed over cheese was performed by PTR-MS. The major contributors to the odor profile were ethyl butanoate, 2-heptanone, and ethyl hexanoate, with fruity notes. A high concentration of mass 45, tentatively identified as acetaldehyde, was found by PTR-MS analysis. Low odor threshold compounds, e.g., methional and 1-octen-3-one, which contributed to the odor profile but were not detected by FID, were detected by PTR-MS. Principal component analysis on both GC-O and PTR-MS data separated the three cheese samples well and showed specific compounds related to each sample.  相似文献

Powdery mildew due to the fungus Uncinula necator is an important disease for the vineyard. The development of the fungus at the surface of the berries leads to the occurrence of a very characteristic and sometimes intense mushroom-type odor cited as an important default for grapes quality. Gas chromatography/olfactometry, gas chromatography, and multidimensional gas chromatogaphy/mass spectrometry techniques were used to investigate the most important odorants of grapes diseased by powdery mildew. Among 22 odorants detected, strongly odorant compounds were identified or tentatively identified in purified extracts obtained from grapes diseased by powdery mildew. Aroma extraction dilution analysis (AEDA) analysis revealed that 1-octen-3-one (mushroom odor), (Z)-1,5-octadien-3-one (geranium-leaf odor), and an unidentified odorous zone (fishy-mushroom like odor) were the most potent volatiles of the diseased grapes. In the presence of nonproliferating Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast cells, and consequently during alcoholic fermentation, the enzymatic reduction of 1-octen-3-one and (Z)-1,5-octadien-3-one to much less odorant compounds, namely 3-octanone and (Z)-5-octen-3-one, was shown. Those results explain to some extent the disappearance of the fungal aroma specific to powdery mildew grapes during alcoholic fermentation.  相似文献

该文提出了生物膜和水生植物的集成生物净化系统用于鱼池水质控制,通过人工配置营养盐和养鱼循环水体的净化试验研究,探讨了该集成生物净化系统对主要污染指标的净化能力和对养鱼循环水体的净化效果及规律。研究结果显示,由生物膜和水生植物组成的集成生物净化系统对氨氮的承载能力明显增强,当NH+4的初始浓度在2.0 mg·L-1以下时,净化效果显著,水质良好。该集成系统对养鱼循环水体中氨氮和有机物的去除率分别保持在80%和40%以上,对养鱼水体pH和DO也有良好的调节和改善作用。  相似文献

硫化氢是垃圾填埋场恶臭污染的主要贡献者之一,填埋场中的硫化氢恶臭污染不仅危害现场工人的身体健康,而且影响周围居民的正常生活。该文概述了垃圾填埋场中硫化氢恶臭的污染状况和特征,从硫化氢的源头控制和末端治理两方面阐述了垃圾填埋场硫化氢恶臭防治技术的研究进展。目前,有关填埋场硫化氢恶臭的控制技术主要集中在末端处理,如对填埋气中的硫化氢进行净化或者采用高效的覆盖层材料来减少硫化氢释放,而对于填埋场内的源头控制手段还非常有限。该文着重提出了利用填埋场堆体内部含量丰富的铁资源的微生物氧化还原以及反硝化脱硫菌的特征代谢作用进行硫化氢的内源削减两大方法,并探讨了其他相关技术的发展趋势,对完善填埋场的硫化氢恶臭污染控制理论与实践具有参考价值。  相似文献

The aroma extract dilution analysis method was used to detect the impact odorants of Bordeaux Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot wines extracts, as well as those of the extracts of the corresponding Cabernet Sauvignon juice and dry yeasts used for its fermentation. The wines and the yeasts were extracted using dichloromethane, and the juice was extracted using Amberlite XAD-2. Structural identification of the impact odorants using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry and atomic emission detection (sulfur acquisition) was achieved after enrichment of these extracts by silica gel and Affi-Gel 501 chromatography. The same odorants (with the exception of dimethyl sulfide among 48) were detected in both wine extracts, with about the same flavor dilution (FD) factors. The 18 impact odorants detected in the Cabernet Sauvignon juice and dry yeast extracts were also found in the wine extracts. The odorants with the highest FD factors were 3-(methylsulfanyl)propanal, (E,Z)-nona-2, 6-dienal, and decanal in the juice extract, 2-methyl-3-sulfanylfuran, 3-(methylsulfanyl)propanal, 2-/3-methylbutanoic acids, and phenylethanal in the dry yeast extract, and 2-/3-methylbutanols, 2-phenylethanol, 2-methyl-3-sulfanylfuran, acetic acid, 3-(methylsulfanyl)propanal, 2-/3-methylbutanoic acids, beta-damascenone, 3-sulfanylhexan-1-ol, Furaneol, and homofuraneol in the wine extracts. Determination of the odor thresholds of some of these impact odorants was carried out.  相似文献

Biofiltration of air polluted by VOCs is now beingrecognized by the industrial and research communitiesto be an effective and viable alternative for theclassical environmental technologies. While a numberof biological aspects of the biofiltration process arewell understood, the effect of certain engineeringparameters such as temperature, pressure drop,bacterial count, etc., remained ambiguous especiallywhen several isomers have to be removedsimultaneously. In this paper are reported theresults of purification of air containing vapors ofxylenes in a laboratory-scale biofilter reactor. Thelatter is a packed bed of peat balls particlesspecifically designed and produced for this purpose. Three types of micro-organisms strains werescrutinizingly selected and immobilized on thefiltering material. Xylenes entering the biofilter ata relatively high inlet load (110 g m-3 h-1)are removed with an elimination capacity of60 g m-3 h-1 (at steady state). Theexperimental results obtained on the reduction ofxylenes were satisfactorily represented by thegeneralized Ottengraf's model.  相似文献

Odors, such as the malodorous and toxic hydrogen sulfide (H2S), are released during leachate collection, storage, and treatment. A full-scale biofilter was applied to treat H2S emitted from a leachate equalization basin in a sanitary landfill site. The inlet concentration of H2S was 26.3?C213.0?mg?m?3. In steady state, total removal efficiency was over 90?% in summer and over 80?% in winter. The maximum elimination capacity achieved 9.1?g?m?3?h?1 at a loading rate of 10.5?g?m?3?h?1. The biofilter was effective at reducing H2S. Factors on the level of H2S inlet concentration and performance of the biofilter were investigated. The H2S inlet load and removal efficiency relied on ambient and biofilter temperature, respectively. The water containing rate and relative humidity presented seasonal variation, according to which the interval period of irrigation could be optimized. The main product of H2S degradation was sulfate, and sulfur also could be observed from the biofilter. Spatial and temporal shifts in bacterial community composition in the biofilter were determined by polymerase chain reaction-denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis followed by DNA sequence analysis. The present study revealed a correlation between biofilter performance and bacterial community structure, especially in a real application case.  相似文献

By application of aroma extract dilution analysis (AEDA) on the volatile fraction isolated by solvent extraction and solvent-assisted flavor evaporation (SAFE) from unifloral rape honey harvested in July 2009, 28 odor-active areas could be detected within a flavor dilution factor (FD) range of 4-2048. The highest FD factors were found for (E)-β-damascenone (cooked apple-like), phenylacetic acid (honey-like), 4-methoxybenzaldehyde (aniseed-like), 3-phenylpropanoic acid (flowery, waxy), and 2-methoxy-4-vinylphenol (clove-like). Twenty-three odorants were then quantitated by application of stable isotope dilution assays, and their odor activity values (OAV, ratio of concentration to odor threshold) were calculated on the basis of newly determined odor thresholds in an aqueous fructose-glucose solution. The highest OAVs were calculated for (E)-β-damascenone, 3-phenylpropanoic acid, phenylacetic acid, dimethyl trisulfide, and phenylacetaldehyde. Quantitative measurements on a rape honey produced in 2011 confirmed the results. A model mixture containing the 12 odorants showing an OAV ≥ 1 at the same concentrations as they occurred in the rape honey was able to mimick the aroma impression of the original honey. The characterization of the key odorants in rape flowers from the same field suggested 3-phenylpropanoic acid, phenylacetic acid, and three further odorants to be transferred via the bees into the honey.  相似文献

封闭式集约化养鱼,需要选择和使用效果好、负荷率高的水处理方法,以提高单位水体的鱼载量和降低成本。该试验在封闭式集约养鱼系统中采用了流化床生物滤器水净化技术,并对其性能进行了研究。结果表明,在流化床生物滤器出水总氨平均值低于0.5 mg/L时,鱼载量是固定床生物滤器的2~3倍,总氨负荷是固定床生物滤器的3倍,更节省水资源。采用该系统养鱼,鱼类生长正常,管理方便,占地面积和建筑费用可减少50%。  相似文献

Three olfactometric methods (olfactometry global analysis, OSME, and AEDA) were compared to evaluate the main impact odorants of cooked mussels. The results obtained from these methods were very similar and well correlated. On the basis of the three techniques, 42 odor-active compounds were detected and 28 were identified. Among these compounds, 6 odorants seem to contribute actively to the aroma of mussels: 2,3-butanedione (4) (buttery, caramel-like odor), (Z)-4-heptenal (14) (boiled potato-like odor), (E)-2-penten-1-ol (17) (mushroom-like odor), 2-ethylpyrazine (19) (nutty odor), methional (25) (boiled potato-like odor), and (E,E)-2,4-octadienal (32) (cucumber-like odor).  相似文献

The goals of the study were to determine the effectiveness of a laboratory-scale biofilter on the removal of methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE) and investigate the operating parameter effects on biofilter performance. The experimental results show that average MTBE removals of 53.6–93.2% were observed at loads of 2.5–20.1 gm?3 h?1 and an empty-bed residence time of three minutes, after continuous operation for four months throughout the biofilter acclimation period. After a one-day recovery period operation, the biofilter system recovered from the introduction of a shock load. More than 99% removal efficiencies were achieved for the inlet MTBE concentration at 50 ppmv and with the highest residence time. MTBE removals at the bottom section of the biofilter were consistently lower than for the top section, which was attributed to insufficient microorganism growth in the bottom section. The parameters estimated by using the Michaelis-Menten equation were 1.116 ± 0.51 ppmv s?1 for the maximum removal rate (V m ), and 26.38 ± 17.21 ppmv for the half-saturation constant (Ks), evaluated at the biofilter exit.  相似文献

Odor profiling efforts were directed at applying to high-density livestock operations some of the lessons learned in resolving past, highly diverse, odor-focused investigations in the consumer product industry. Solid-phase microextraction (SPME) was used for field air sampling of odorous air near and downwind of a beef cattle feedyard and a swine finisher barn in Texas. Multidimensional gas chromatography-olfactometry (MDGC-O) was utilized in an attempt to define and prioritize the basic building blocks of odor character associated with these livestock operations. Although scores of potential odorant volatiles have been previously identified in high-density livestock operations, the odor profile results developed herein suggest that only a very few of these may constitute the preponderance of the odor complaints associated with these environments. This appeared to be especially true for the case of increasing distance from both cattle feedyard and swine barn facilities, with p-cresol consistently taking on the dominant odor impact role with ever increasing distance. In contrast, at- or near-site odor profiles were shown to be much more complex, with many of the well-known lower tier odorant compounds rising in relative significance. For the cattle feedyard at- or near-site odor profiles, trimethylamine was shown to represent a significantly greater individual odor impact relative to the more often cited livestock odorants such as hydrogen sulfide, the organic sulfides, and volatile fatty acids. This study demonstrates that SPME combined with a MDGC-O-mass spectrometry system can be used for the sampling, identification, and prioritization of odors associated with livestock.  相似文献

The biofilter system containing tire-derived rubber particle (TDRP) filter media was utilized to treat the odorous gas contaminant, hydrogen sulfide, in consideration of the economic advantage of reusing discarded tire materials and the high potential of TDRP media for biofilm attachment. The pilot-scale system having 0.38 m3 of bed volume operated with synthetic hydrogen sulfide gas on continuous basis from a range of 0.34 to 1.15 m3/min. This bioreactor system achieved over 94% removal efficiency at 20?C90 ppm of inlet H2S concentration while operating in 20?C67 s of empty bed retention time, indicating that overall effective operation was performed at mass loading rates of H2S ranging from 19.6 to 28.5 g H2S/(m3?h). It was apparent by the effectiveness of the system??s performance that this system had the capability to effectively remove hydrogen sulfide with high efficiency over a range of concentrations. A maximum elimination capacity was not found for the biofilter during this study, which tested loading rates between 0 and 30 g H2S/(m3?h).  相似文献

Characterization of the most odor-active compounds of Iberian ham headspace   总被引:11,自引:0,他引:11  
Gas chromatography-olfactometry (GC-O) based on detection frequency (DF) was used to characterize the most odor-active compounds from the headspace of Iberian ham. Twenty-eight odorants were identified by GC-O on two capillary columns, including aldehydes (11), sulfur-containing compounds (7), ketones (5), nitrogen-containing compounds (2), esters (2), and an alcohol. Among them, the highest odor potencies (DF values) were found for 2-methyl-3-furanthiol, 2-heptanone, 3-methylbutanal, methanethiol, hexanal, hydrogen sulfide, 1-penten-3-one, 2-methylpropanal, ethyl 2-methylbutyrate, and (E)-2-hexenal. Nine of the 28 most odor-active compounds were identified for the first time as aroma components of dry-cured ham, including hydrogen sulfide, 1-penten-3-one, (Z)-3-hexenal, 1-octen-3-one, and the meaty-smelling compounds 2-methyl-3-furanthiol, 2-furfurylthiol, 3-mercapto-2-pentanone, 2-acetyl-1-pyrroline, and 2-propionyl-1-pyrroline.  相似文献
