Ecological Construction of Urban Green Landscape in Chongqing City

The urban green landscape in Chongqing was analyzed from the view of landscape ecology. It was believed that the urban green landscape was developed rapidly in recent years, but there are still some problems existed, including mainly: (1) the structure of green landscape was unreasonable, (2) the quality of green patches was low, and (3) the function of green corridors was incomplete. It is pointed out that in some urban regions there were lack of green patches, furthermore, some patches were isolated from each other due to lack of green corridors. In the last, taking account of the foundational theory about patch and corridor, some aspects for the design of urban green landscape in Chongqing were proposed: connecting the river and road green corridors and increasing the green patches at the ecological strategic points.     

Application of Green Construction in China:Current State and Promotion Measures

Green construction is the main embodiment of application of sustainable development strategy in construction process and is the important part of sustainable construction industry. In this paper, the current state and shortage concerning the green construction in China are described, followed by analyzing the reasons from the viewpoint of cognitions, technique, cost, management and regulation. In this paper, recommendations on countermeasures promoting the application of green construction in China are put forward, which include enhancing the consciousness of participant on green construction, mitigating the economic barriers to application of green construction, establishing and perfecting the regulations as well as setting up the assessment system on green construction.     

Color Landscape Planning in City Environment

Focused on the absence or disorder presented in the color landscape of modern city environment,it is argued that the color landscape of cities must be,and can be planned.Then,in order to setup the characteristics of a city,it is emphasized to make plan strategy based on city dimensions,handle controlling modes flexibly,extract the regional color and intensify controlling and guiding the color in architectures.     

Analysis on the Feasibility of Collecting Traffic Congestion Charges in Beijing

On the basis of analyzing connotation of congestion pricing,through the qualitative analysis of the main content and implementation effect of the congestion policy in cities such as Singapore,London and Stockholm,the basic conditions for urban congestion charges were summarized.Compared with Beijing’s urban development,traffic development status,urban transport infrastructure and social factors,the current policy of traffic congestion charging is still not available from the perspective of the current status of car ownership in Beijing,residents’ travel composition,and population density distribution.     

Study of the Urban Coordinated Development Capability Index in the Yangtze River Economic Belt

Coordinated development is a major concern in the construction strategy of the Yangtze River Economic Belt (YREB).However,there were few studies which have quantitatively measured the level of coordinated development in the YREB.This paper aimed to propose an comprehensive index system of coordinated development based on the theories of growth pole and complex ecosystem and new guidelines of development from the central government.The index system was composed by 18 indicators within 4 domains including economic development,technology & innovation,communication & transportation,and ecological protection.The scores of coordinated development capability of the 110 prefecture-level cities in the YREB were calculated and examined using natural break point analysis,spatial autocorrelation analysis and rank-size analysis.It was shown that Shanghai,Nanjing and Wuhan were leading the coordinated development in the YREB.Generally,the scores of coordinated development capability were higher in the eastern region of the YREB,in which the cities performed well in the domains of economic development,technology & innovation and communication & transportation yet showed poor performance in ecological protection.Most cities in the middle reaches of Yangtze river ranked in the middle in the YREB in all the domains,except the provincial capitals.The western region of the YREB got the lowest score in the coordinated development capability besides the largest cities such as Chongqing,Chengdu,Kunming and Guiyang.The correlation coefficients between ecological protection and other domains were very low,suggesting that few cities have achieved a win-win situation between environment protection and socio-economic development.We suggested 3 ways to promote coordinated development in the YREB:establish multi-level institutional designs;enhance the innovation in green industries;and strengthen the joint prevention and control of ecological risks.     

Green Lighting Project and Urban Lighting Planning of Mountain Region

In this paper, a deep research on the method of urban lighting planning is carried out in combination with the understanding from the urban lighting engineering practice, the method of master and detailed urban lighting plannings in mountain region is proposed, and the implementation of green lighting project through rational urban lighting planning is realized.     

Traditional Village Planning under the Theory of Actor Network:A Case Study of Village Planning in the Jingmai Mountain,Pu’er,Yunnan Province

Rural revitalization strategy is an important topic in China.As an important platform for the implementation of the strategy,the preparation of village planning for traditional villages is conducive to coordinating the contradiction between protection and development,and promoting the sustainable development of traditional villages.The traditional villages of the Jingmai Mountain in Pu’er,Yunnan Province are taken as the research objects.The first-hand data are obtained through interviews and field research,and Actor-Network model is used to analyze the actors’ goal and obstacle in preparation of village planning,which better reflects the interests of different actors in village planning process.At the same time,the action path of planning is interpreted through the process of problematisation,interessement,enrolmen,mobislisation and dissidence.In the preparation of village planning for traditional villages,key elements should be paid attention to,such as bridging the cognitive gap,building consensus,setting up participation platform and formulating relevant policy guarantee mechanism,etc.     

Study on Effect of A Restaurant in An Urban Park:A Case Study of Senri-Minami Park in Suita City of Japan

The Urban Park Act was revised in 2017,in which a new Park-PFI system to select private companies through public offering was introduced.The system is a new park maintenance and management method to improve the quality of urban parks and the convenience of park users while encouraging good investment by the private sector in urban parks and reducing the financial burden on park managers.In this study,we analyzed the case of introducing the private sector’s expertise into urban park maintenance projects,clarified the background and contents of the projects,and compared the system with the conventional method of public-private partnership projects for urban parks.Furthermore,we implemented a survey on the actual situation of Senri-Minami Park in Suita City.Based on the survey results,we evaluated and analyzed the direct benefits obtained from using the Travel Cost Method.Based on the above,this study examined the feasibility and the requirements of establishing public-private collaboration projects in urban parks through literature review,fact-finding survey,and benefit analysis.     

Strategies for Improving the Overall Environmental Quality of Rivers Based on “Renovation and Restoration” Concept: A Case Study of Landscape Planning of Linjiang River,Yongchuan District,Chongqing City

The concept of "renovation and restoration" marks the transformation from urban and rural planning and construction to intensive development mode and to quality improvement stage.The environmental imbalance problem of emphasizing development and neglecting ecology in the past has become the focus of the current urban quality improvement stage.Rivers are related to the origin,development and evolution of cities,affect the layout,transportation and environment of cities,and bear the culture,economy and characteristics of cities.Taking the Linjing River of Yongchuan in Chongqing as an example and taking the concept of "renovation and restoration" as the guidance of the design of the overall environmental quality improvement of the river,this study analyzed and summarized the problems to be solved in the improvement of the environmental quality of the river based on the four river environmental impact factors of water pollution,water resource supply and demand,ecological environment and shore water waterfront type and the strategies of optimizing the aquatic environment management,constructing the ecological landscape pattern,shaping the regional cultural landscape and combining the economic development along the river were put forward in order to improve the overall environmental quality of Linjiang River and provide reference for relevant planning and design.     

Study on the Mechanism of the Effect of Urban Planning System on the Price of Real Estate

Based on the review of progress of research on the influence of urban planning on the price of real estate both at home and abroad, the author analyzes and summarizes the mechanism of the effect of the urban planning system on the price of real estate from three basic levels as strategy planning, implementation planning and planning administration and suggests that the local government should make use of this mechanism to carry out the guidance on the balanced development of urban economy, society and environment in real estate realm.     

Symbiosis of Mining Heritage and Community: A Case Study of Zhongfu Mining Heritage in Jiaozuo

This study selected three representative mining heritage sites of Zhongfu Company in Jiaozuo as the main research objects,introduced the "symbiosis" theory,explored the new ideas of mining heritage protection in the perspective of city,and put forward the community symbiosis strategy that closely combines the mining heritage protection and utilization with its community construction,urban environment and urban space,so as to realize the activation of function,integration of space and urban repair.The transformation design on this basis reflects three targeted symbiotic ways.It also provides implementation strategies on community level and residents’ life in the construction and transformation of mining cities,which is of universal and practical significance.     

On Green Lighting Planning and Design of the City

The energy-conserving environmental protection and the culture characteristic protection are two themes to the sustainable development of modern city,and the green lighting project is an important condition to ensure sustainable development of the city.But now,in some lighting projects the energy consumption and economy power capability were ignored;some design tactics are identical and in the green lighting projects the whole lighting of the city was not considered,which cause the crisis of losing the city characteristic.This paper proposes the green view of city lighting planning,and points out that the energy conservation,environmental protection,economic feasibility and culture characteristic must be considered synthetically in the city green lighting planning and design to guarantee sustainable development of the city.     

Main Diseases and Pests of Jujube and Control Strategies in Shanxi

The main diseases and pests in the major growing area of jujube in Shanxi Province in recent years are investigated and studied,and several main diseases and pests are described.Based on the green prevention and control concept of crop diseases and pests proposed by the Ministry of Agriculture of China,the prevention and control of jujube diseases and pests are expounded from the perspectives of strengthening forecast,agricultural management,biological control and chemical control,in order to provide scientific basis for green development of jujube industry.     

Evaluation of Urban Development Quality Based on the Connotation of High-Quality Development: A Case Study of Guangdong Province

In this paper, based on the interpretation of the connotation of high-quality development, an urban development quality evaluation index system was established from six aspects of economic strength, the level of science and education, government management, resources and environment, the level of openness, and infrastructure, the entropy method and cluster analysis were used to conduct an empirical analysis of the quality of urban development in Guangdong Province, and relevant suggestions were proposed accordingly. The results showed that:(1) the level of science and education was the most important factor affecting the quality of urban development in Guangdong Province;(2) the quality of urban development in Guangdong Province was extremely uncoordinated;(3) cities with stronger economic strength had lower resource and environment evaluation;(4) cities of Guangdong Province could be divided into three categories: cities in a quality optimization stage, cities in a quality improvement stage, and cities in a quality lagging stage that could be further divided into three categories.     

Implementation of Green Building Design Strategies Needs Whole Process Control and Supervision

Whether the intention of green building design can be realized in buildings needs to be verified in practice.This study firstly investigates the basic climate conditions including the monthly average temperatures,humidity,wind directions,and wind speeds in Sydney,Australia,based on which it introduces some passive design features such as natural ventilation,thermal mass,natural lighting and shading control of an educational and office building in the University of New South Wales.Then,it reviews some problems identified from the post-occupancy stage of the building and discusses the strategies to solve the problems.Finally,it suggests that to implement the design intentions and ensure the expected performance of green buildings,attentions should be paid to supervise and direct implementation of the green design strategies and techniques in the whole process(from preliminary design,working drawing design,construction,to the occupancy stage) of building practice.

An agent-based framework to support spatial data mining is described. It makes use of three types of agents: Collect agents, Coordinate agents and Query/Mining agents. And then the implementation model is given.
