Protection of Historic Villages and Towns in View of Tourism Destination Study

The traditional ways of protecting heritage are often passive when facing the influence of tourism development, which makes the protection measures lag behind relatively. To solve such a problem, this paper analyzes the influence of tourism destination lifecycle and of spatial structure creatively with the theories of Tourism Geography, pointing out that the influences are different in different lifecycle phases with different distinct characteristics, that the special spatial structure always makes tourism destinations facing more complex conditions and take more heavy environment pressure. Therefore, this paper advocates taking active protection, dynamic protection, building protection system to protect the historic villages and towns.

This paper defined tourism environment, analyzed the impact of tourism development on the water environment, soil, vegetation and landscape and proposed main measures for protecting tourism environment on this basis.     

Intangible Protection of Environmental Spaces in Ancient Towns and Its Significance: a Case Study of Ancient Qijiang Town in Sichuan

The well-preserved small historic cities and towns in China that have went through thousands of years of vicissitudes play a signifi cant role in studying the town history and architectural spaces,and inheriting behavioral cultures of the locals.However,driven by economic profi ts,the current protection and development of ancient towns focus on ancient images,but neglect behavioral cultures and spiritual connotations,lose their evolution sequence and the relationship between tangible and intangible characters.Protection of ancient towns,as the author asserts,means not simple restoration and simulation of ancient buildings,or blind pursuit of new approaches,but equal importance to repairing architectural forms,protecting the environmental spaces,and intangible behavioral cultures and spiritual connotations of the locals that have been or will be lost in the history.It is the signifi cance of protecting ancient town environment and its history and culture.     

Protection and Development of Famous Historic and Cultural Cities Guided by Tourism Culture Geography:A Case Study of Ancient Pingyao City

By introducing cultural landscape theories and attaching importance to practical application of theories, this paper analyzed protection and development of ancient Pingyao City under the guidance of relevant theories. Taking Pingyao for example, application of theories in practices will be better understood, and the role of human geography in urban planning reflected. Referring to the protection and development cases of famous historic and cultural cities, this paper analyzed historical and cultural context, and spatial environment of Ancient Pingyao City from the perspectives of culture and geography, and proposed suggestions for the protection and development of ancient city under the guidance of human geography theories.     

Authenticity Protection of Agricultural Landscapes in Rural Tourism Development

With the rapid development of the economy, people's living standards have been improved constantly. As people's material life has been gradually improved, people pay more attention to the pursuit of high-quality spiritual life, and the flourishing development of rural tourism just meets people's pursuit about returning to nature that is far away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and about experiencing funny and quiet life in the countryside. The development of rural tourism relies on agricultural landscape resources, and the correct understanding and protection of the original value of agricultural landscape resources can effectively ensure the sustainable use of agricultural landscape resources. If land for agricultural landscape resource is occupied for developing blindly without reasonable planning and construction, it will lead to the distortion of the authentic value of agricultural landscape, which in turn affects the sustainable development of rural tourism.     

Exploration of the Protective Development Model of Ancient Towns in Metropolitan Suburbs: A Case Study of Xinchang Ancient Town in the Pudong New Area of Shanghai

The protection of ancient towns has become a crucial link in the coordinated regional development in China.On the basis of the field investigation,this paper took Xinchang Ancient Town in the Pudong New Area of Shanghai for example to analyze the existing problems in the protection and development of ancient towns,such as narrow economic base,loss of aboriginal culture and vague orientation of urban-rural function,and proposed a protective development model stressing the synergetic development of culture,economy and ecology.That model was designed to enhance local economic competitiveness through the multi-industry linkage,encourage the mass participation,reshape local cultural identity,improve regional ecological environment and optimize the function of Xinchang Ancient Town so that the protection of ancient towns is integrated into the top-level design of the regional comprehensive development.     

Protection and Inheritance of Native Culture in the Landscape Design of Characteristic Towns

Chinese culture has a long history. Native culture, as an important part of China's traditional culture heritage, is rich in variety. In characteristic towns, native culture has strong local characteristics, and its protection and heritage has great value. This paper aimed to inherit traditional culture, protect the local characteristics of the towns, endow the town landscape with a unique cultural value, enhance people's cultural cohesion and identity of local culture and create characteristic towns with strong cultural characteristics.     

Tourism Development Models Based on Ecological Utilization and Protection of Water Conservancy Scenic Areas

In view of major confl icts between ecological conditions of scenic areas and tourism development, tourism development models and approaches of six major water conservancy scenic areas were summarized on the basis of investigating interaction mechanism, ecological utilization and protection of scenic areas, including reservoir development and construction model, wetland development and construction model, natural river and lake development and construction model, city river and lake development and construction model, irrigated area development and construction model, water and soil conservation development and construction model. The research fruits are of instructive signif icance for the management and development of scenic areas.     

Analysis on Driving Forces behind Community Participation in Heritage Site Protection and Tourism Development

This paper applied literature research, model analysis, considered current community-participated tourism development, established a four driving forces model on the basis of analyzing the driving forces for community participation in heritage site protection and tourism development. The driving forces and applicability of community participation in heritage site protection and tourism development from the perspectives of interests drive, government pushing, tourism development attraction and environmental protection pressure.     

Development of Towns in Chongqing and Its Problems

To further accelerate the development of towns is a necessary route to realize urbanization in China. Based on current situations in Chongqing, this paper studies the related development theories and practice. It also analyzes the difficulties and opportunities faced currently. It can be used as reference for the development and construction of towns in our country.     

Analysis on the Problems and Contradictions of the Protection of Historic Cultural Towns in China

On the foundation of lucubrating the concept and connotation of the historic cultural towns,this paper analyzes the contradictions and problems for their protection briefly.The main contradictions and problems are as follows: the relationship between the types of city space structure and the rate of economic development,the progress of tourism and the historic city protection,the authenticity and the false curio,the system of public participation and the public's protection consciousness etc.Finally,it presents some countermeasures for those problems given above.     

Study on the Protection and Renovation of Ancient Buildings in Likeng

As a famous historical and cultural city of China, and one of the ecological conservation experimental plots of Huizhou culture, Likeng owns many cultural units under state and local protection. The paper elaborated the significance and principles of protecting ancient buildings in Likeng, analyzed the restoration principles and technical schemes. Through analyzing the protection of ancient buildings in Likeng, the rationality of protection, and the balance between protection and development was proposed, and protection of the projects in the national historic and cultural heritage list, cultural relics protection units at all levels, famous historic and cultural cities was introduced.     

古槐树的保护与复壮研究

通过对古槐树的生长环境和生长状况的调查,并对植株叶片营养元素含量和生长地周边的土壤中营养元素含量进行定量分析,结果表明：土壤中的营养极度缺乏,根系得到的营养物质极为有限,这样,使根系无法生长,造成树体的伤害。在给古槐施用肥料中有必要增加N、P、Ca、Mg、Zn等营养元素,使古槐能更旺盛地生长。还对古槐树的保护和复壮提出措施,以期为延缓古树的衰老提供理论依据和切实可行的方法。     

Towns of Chongqing Sustainable Development Objective Appraisement

Master towns of Chongqing includes Wanzhou, Fuling, Jiangjin, Huochuan and Yongchuan. According to the stratage of developing Western China and urbanization, this article discusses tendency of sustainable development in towns of Chongqing. Applying `evaluation method of arrangement model' and `analyze method of equal difference ', the authors find the short wming of the quality of urbanization and the sustainable development in five towns. So the article takes center city and towns construction and set up cooperation mechanism between the five cities that will be sure to increase momentum and ability of Chongqing for Sustainable development object.

The necessity of developing tourism in disaster sites was explored,famous disaster sites in the world were taken for example,and strategies for the tourism development of disaster sites proposed according to the basic theories of sustainable development.     

Scenic Resource, Tourism Resource and Tourism Product--On the Development Mode of Scenic Resource

Under the market economy system, the development of scenic areas must adhere to the regulation that the scenic resources must be turned into tourism resources under the guidance of scenic area planning at first, then the tourism resources has to be developed into tourism products directed by tourism development planning. Meantime, in this paper, Fengjie Tiankengdifeng Scenic Area Planning and Fengjie Tourism Development Planning are taken as examples to support this viewpoint.

Development of Inquiry-Based Learning Tourism Products in Binzhou from the Perspective of Tourism Resources

Under the macro-background of all-for-one tourism, this study analyzes the related concepts and characteristics of inquiry-based learning tourism to understand the significance and role of developing inquiry-based learning tourism in China.With Binzhou as the object of study, this study also explores the development of inquiry-based learning tourism products from the aspects of the product development idea, level, framework and marketing, with a view to providing references for implementing inquiry-based learning tourism activities in other regions.
