Leaves of Lycium barbarum are widely used as medicine vegetables and functional tea in China. The main flavonoids present in the leaves were separated and identified by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), liquid chromatography-atmospheric pressure chemical ionization mass spectrometry (LC-(APCI) MS) and ultraviolet-visible spectra with shift additives. The predominant flavonoid was identified as rutin. Leaves are the rutin-rich parts (16.03–16.33 mg/g). In the wild and cultivated L. barbarum fruits, contents of rutin were determined very low (0.09–1.38 mg/g). The contents of total flavonoids (21.25 mg/g) of cultivated L. barbarum leaves were much higher than those in the wild L. barbarum leaves (17.86 mg/g), so cultivated barbarum leaves are a suitable source for medicine vegetables and functional tea.  相似文献

In this report, we presented the profile of polyphenolic substances in flowers, leaves, stalk and roots of Fagopyrum tataricum estimated by using RP–UHPLC–ESI-MS equipment (reversed-phase ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography electrospray ionisation mass spectrometry). The neutral detergent fibre, acid detergent fibre, acid detergent lignin, cellulose and hemicellulose were also determined. Flowers, leaves, stalk and roots showed varying levels of dietary fibre and polyphenols. The highest content of neutral and acid detergent fibre were found in the roots (63.92 and 45.45% d.m., respectively) while the most rich in phenolic compounds were flowers (4.8 mg/1 g d.m.). Root and stalk contained the highest level of cellulose, 38.70 and 25.57% d.m., respectively. Among the investigated polyphenolic substances such as: 2,6-dihydroxybenzoic acid, 3,4-dihydroxybenzoic acid, 3,5-dihydroxybenzoic acid, 4-hydrobenzoic acid, caffeic acid, catechin, chlorogenic acid, fagopyrin, ferulic acid, myricetin, gallic acid, isovanilic acid, isovitexin, kaempferol, luteolin, p-coumaric acid, procyanidin B2, quercetin, quercetin 3-D galactoside, rutin, syringic acid and vitexin, we observed that the contents of rutin and chlorogenic acid were the highest. We found some correlation between dietary fibre fractions and individual phenolic substances. The levels of acid detergent fibre (ADF), cellulose and hemicellulose were negatively correlated with isovitexin, kaempferol, vitexin, fagopyrin, caffeic acid and procyanidin B2 content. In this investigation, two solvents (water and methanol) were estimated regarding their extraction efficiency of phenolic compounds. Taking these results into consideration, we recommend using methanol as the extractor to isolate chlorogenic acid, fagopyrin, kaempferol, procyanidin B2, quercetin, quercetin 3-D-galactoside, rutin, vitexin, and water for other investigated polyphenolic substances obtained from Fagopyrum tataricum.  相似文献

Cassava (Manihot esculenta Crantz) leaves contained a high level of crude protein (29.3–32.4% dry weight) compared to a conventional vegetable,Amaranthus (19.6%). Ash was 4.6–6.4% in cassava leaf samples but 13.1% dry weight inAmaranthus. Dietary fibre was very high in all samples (26.9–39% dry weight) while HCN-potential was low (5.1–12.6 mg/100 g dry weight). Tannin was the highest in IITA red cassava leaves (29.7 mg/g) and the lowest inAmaranthus vegetable. In vitro digestibility was very low in oven dried samples (15.6–22.7%). Blanching increased protein content (exceptAmaranthus) and in vitro protein digestibility but decreased ash, minerals, dietary fibre and tannin, while HCN-potential was unchanged. Grinding reduced both HCN-potential and tannin by 84 and 71% respectively while oven drying only reduced the HCN content marginally. Preference studies showed that the highest percentage of respondents (25.3%) preferredAmaranthus vegetable, followed by Celosia (17.5%), Talinum (12.4%), garden egg (11.5%), with cassava leaves as the least (0.5%). Organoleptic evaluation rated cassava leaf soup inferior toAmaranthus in terms of appearance, colour and texture but equal in terms of taste and flavour and overall acceptability.  相似文献

Antioxidant properties of amaranth extracts isolated sequentially by acetone and methanol/water from defatted plant leaves, flowers, stems and seeds were assessed by ABTS+?, DPPH?, ORAC and total phenols content (TPC) assays. In addition, antioxidant properties of solid plant material were evaluated by the direct QUENCHER method using the same assays. Leaves and flowers of amaranth as well as their extracts possessed the highest antioxidant activities. Radical scavenging capacity in ABTS+? assay for leaves, flowers, stems and seeds evaluated by QUENCHER method were 144.24?±?2.41, 112.33?±?7.45, 19.05?±?1.13 and 21.82?±?1.06 μmol trolox equivalents in 1 g of dry weight, respectively. On-line HPLC-DPPH? assay was used to determine the activity of separated compounds and it was observed that rutin was the main radical scavenger in amaranth extracts. Preliminary screening of extract composition was performed by UPLC/ESI-QTOF-MS and rutin, nicotiflorin, isoquercitrin, 4-hydroxybenzoic and p-coumaric acids were identified by measuring their accurate mass and retention time.  相似文献

We investigated the change in seed shape and weight as well as the accumulation and distribution of anthocyanins, melanin, and flavonoids during tartary buckwheat seed development. Pericarp dry weight increased slowly while the increase in flour dry weight was much greater. Increases in the dry weight of the embryo and endosperm were associated with change in seed shape. The highest anthocyanin content was observed in stage two while the highest melanin content occurred in stage five. There was a considerable decrease in total flavonoids, rutin, quercetin and kaempferol in mature seeds relative to seeds that were still developing. Additionally, there were significant correlations (correlation coefficient > .900, p < .05) among the changes in rutin, quercetin and kaempferol between flour and the pericarp. In mature seeds, 95% of the flavonoids were present in flour.  相似文献

Low cost weaning mixtures were prepared by mixing (i) malted pearl millet (Penicitum typhidium L), roasted amaranth (Amaranthus sp.); roasted green gram (Vigna radiata); jaggery and (ii) malted barley (Dehusked barley); roasted amaranth grain; roasted green gram; jaggery in proportion 60204045 wt/wt and were nutritionally evaluated. Both the blends had a nutrient composition within the range prescribed by the Indian Standard Institute (ISI) for processed weaning foods. The processing of grains resulted in lower levels of phytic acid, polyphenols and saponins and higher in vitro protein digestibility than those of the raw grains used for preparing mixtures. Both the mixtures were acceptable to trained panelists and children.  相似文献

The objective of the present study was to evaluate the effect of the bread supplemented with whole amaranth flour (0, 20 and 40%) on iron bioavailability using Caco-2 cells model. The phytate and lower myo-inositol phosphates content in in vitro bread digests were measured by high pressure liquid chromatography. The breads made with amaranth showed significant increase of soluble phytates levels (up to 1.20 μmol/g in dry matter for the 40% of substitution) in comparison with controls, which have not detectable values. A negative correlation among phytate and Fe availability was found when increased levels of amaranth. Ferritin concentration was found 2.7- and 2.0-fold higher (P < 0.05) in cultures exposed to 20% and 40% of amaranth formulated bread samples, respectively, compared to control bread. The soluble phytate/Fe molar ratio explained the whole amaranth flour-mediated inhibitory effect associated to the limitation of available Fe; however, the use up to 20% of amaranth in bread formulation appears as a promising strategy to improve the nutritional value of bread, as indicated by the ferritin concentrations quantified in cell cultures. Higher proportion of amaranth flour increased Fe concentration although there was not detected any increase in Fe uptake.  相似文献

Dried flowers and leaves of four different Achillea species grown wild in several provinces of Iran, including one species collected from three different locations of Isfahan province were analyzed for the headspace volatile components, total phenolics (TP) and tartaric esters (TE). Capillary gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS) combined with a purge and trap method was used for quantification of aroma components. Over 70 compounds were determined in the samples. Flower samples from all species contained 2-methyl butanal, α-pinene, α-thujene, camphene, hexanal, β-pinene and 1,8-cineole; however, the major constituents of the aerial parts were determined as α-pinene, camphene, DL-limonene and 1,8-cineole. The largest number of aroma components were found in Achillea tenuifolia Lam. and Achillea millefolium L. In all species, except A. millefolium, the leaves contained more TP and TE than flowers. However, A. wilhelmsii from Semirom in Isfahan province showed the highest values for TP and TE.  相似文献

Populations in North India depend on a number of vegetable crops of which Amaranthus spp. is the most important since it is the only crop available in the hot summer months when no other foliage crop grows in the field. However, reports on mineral composition of leaves are rare with absolutely no information on the qualitative improvement of foliage yield with special reference to minerals. Studies on correlation among the minerals as well as with yield and leaf attributes are also lacking. Hence, we report the proximate mineral composition in 30 strains of A. tricolor along with some suggestions for qualitative improvement of the foliage yield with reference to minerals. Our study showed that vegetable amaranth is a rich source of minerals like calcium (1.7±0.04 g/100 g), iron (1233.8±50.02 mg/kg), and zinc (791.7±28.98 mg/kg). The heritability estimates were high for most of the traits, with potassium and calcium showing high values, while comparatively lower values were recorded for magnesium and nickel. Nickel was the only mineral that showed positive correlation with all the minerals, as well as with leaf size and foliage yield. Zinc showed strong positive relationship with iron (0.66**) and manganese (0.74**), and was the only mineral exhibiting significant positive association with foliage yield. This study would be of use in enhancement of selected minerals in different regions according to local preferences and nutrient deficiency prevalent among the populations.  相似文献

The variation in the content and composition of Origanum majorana L. essential oil has been studied. Plant material has been harvested at four phenological stages (early vegetative, late vegetative, budding and full-flowering). Essential oil yield varied from 0.04 to 0.09% reached during the full-flowering stage. Analysis of the essential oils by GC and GC/MS revealed the presence of 38 components represented mainly by oxygenated monoterpenes (64.01–71.4%), monoterpene hydrocarbons (21.73–29.92%) and sesquiterpene hydrocarbons (1.47–4.05%). The main components were terpinen-4-ol (29.13–32.57%), cis-sabinene hydrate (19.9–29.27%), trans-sabinene hydrate (3.5–11.61%), γ-terpinene (2.11–8.20%), bornyl acetate (1.52–2.94%) and linalool (1.05–1.39%). On the other hand, phenolic contents varied from 2.706 to 6.834 mg/g of dry weight obtained during the later vegetative stage. RP-HPLC analysis of the methanolic extract of O. majorana L. dried aerial parts showed the predominance of phenolic acids during the early vegetative stage whereas flavonoids predominate during the other stages of growth. The main phenolic acids identified were trans-2-hydroxycinnamic, rosmarinic, vanillic, chlorogenic, gallic and cinnamic whereas the main flavonoids were amentoflavone, apigenin, quercetin, luteolin, coumarin and rutin. Results obtained showed that later vegetative stage is characterized by the highest contents of bioactive compounds and therefore it could be considered as the best stage for harvesting marjoram plants.  相似文献

Experiments at two sites during two years evaluated the selectivity of preemergence fomesafen in cucurbit crops of winter and summer squash, zucchini, cantaloupe, cucumber, and pumpkin. Cucumbers were the most sensitive of the cucurbit crops to fomesafen and produced little or no fruit in two out of three experiments when applied at 0.28 kg ai ha−1. Fomesafen also reduced cantaloupe yield. Visual damage was noted on the other crops tested, but crop yield was not impacted by fomesafen at 0.28–0.35 kg ai ha−1. With the exception of cucumbers, injury caused by fomesafen to cucurbit crops was transitory even when fomesafen-treated soil splashed onto the leaves of emerging cucurbits during a powerful thunderstorm at one of the test sites. Control of redroot pigweed (Amaranthus retroflexus), Powell amaranth (Amaranthus powellii) and other Amaranthus spp., lambsquarters (Chenopodium album), hairy nightshade (Solanum physafolium), common purslane (Portulaca oleraceae), and velvetleaf (Abutilon theophrastii) ranged from 92 to 100% with fomesafen applied at 0.28 kg ai ha−1. The excellent efficacy on these difficult to control weed species suggests that lower rates of fomesafen may be appropriate and improve crop tolerance, particularly if fomesafen is tankmix-applied with other preemergence herbicides such as s-metolachlor or dimethenamid-p. Weed control with these combinations was excellent for all weed species in these experiments.  相似文献

Wild Solanum species are characterized by several types of glycoalkaloids (GAs), which are usually not found in commercial potato cultivars. These alkaloids serve as defence compounds against herbivores and microorganisms, especially fungi. In this study, the GA composition of tuber and leaf material of 17 wild Solanum species was analysed qualitatively by liquid chromatography-electrospray ionization-mass spectrometry (LC-ESI-MS) and quantitatively by high-performance liquid chromatography. The GAs identified were α-solanine, α-chaconine, β-chaconine, solasonine, solamargine, demissine, dehydrodemissine, α-tomatine, dehydrotomatine, commersonine, dehydrocommersonine, leptine I and leptine II. Most species accumulated the common potato GAs α-solanine and α-chaconine in tubers and solasonine and solamargine additionally in leaves. In some species, such as S. acaule ssp. acaule, S. demissum and S. polyadenium, substantial amounts of unusual alkaloids were detected. By using LC-ESI-MS, we detected several minor alkaloids such as dehydrogenated forms of α-tomatine, demissine and commersonine for the first time. Total GA content, expressed as the sum of the four main alkaloids α-solanine, α-chaconine, solamargine and solasonine differed from species to species. In general, GA contents in leaf tissue were higher and GA patterns were more complex than those of tubers.  相似文献

2017~2018年在内蒙古开鲁、辽宁铁岭试点,对8个共用品种生理成熟期子粒含水率进行观测,分析受子粒脱水成熟阶段(生理成熟前的15 d)积温变化的影响。结果表明,同一品种在不同地点、不同年份生理成熟期子粒含水率存在显著差异,其中,8个品种在不同地点间的差异平均达到2.31个百分点(变幅0.8~4.3),在不同年份间的差异平均达到2.91个百分点(变幅0.7~5.4),环境因素对子粒达到生理成熟的日期和含水率有显著影响,且环境和品种之间具有显著的互作效应。不同熟期玉米品种生理成熟期子粒含水率与生育期无显著相关,生育期(x)越长的品种,生理成熟期子粒含水率在不同地点、不同年份之间的差值(y)越大,两者符合y=0.161 9x-21.454,R2=0.736**(n=16)。子粒脱水成熟阶段积温对该阶段的脱水速率及生理成熟期子粒含水率具有显著影响,温度低、脱水慢的地区和年份玉米生理成熟期子粒含水率偏高,晚熟品种受影响程度明显大于早熟品种。  相似文献

The growing demand for the medicinal plant, Hypericum perforatum, is not being met by available supply in many countries. The conditions for obtaining quality crude drug should be thoroughly studied to ensure adequate supply. The current study describes the variation of major bioactive compounds in different accessions of H. perforatum (Hypericaceae) in two floral development stages. Two extraction procedures were evaluated for the quantification of the major bioactive compounds in H. perforatum. The Soxhlet extraction technique was demonstrated to be more effective with higher extraction yields. The contents of rutin, hyperoside, quercitrin, quercetin, and 3,8″-biapigenin were determined by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). This procedure was used to establish the variation in the contents of flavonoids in the field-growing H. perforatum and to evaluate factors predetermining that variation with some practical implications for utilization. A significant difference in flavonoid contents between two floral development stages was detected. The results of the study showed that rutin prevailed during the budding stage, whereas quercitrin, quercetin, and 3,8″-biapigenin were dominant during the full-flowering stage. The contents of hyperoside were similar in both developmental stages of the plants. The highest amounts of the most bioactive compounds were observed in the full-flowering stage, which could therefore be considered the best stage for the harvesting of the raw material of H. perforatum, known as Hyperici herba in pharmaceutics. The study revealed evident intraspecific variations in the flavonoid contents of H. perforatum. Several chemotypes were recognized by qualitative and quantitative differences in flavonoids. Qualitative analysis of the flavonoid contents confirmed the presence of the chemotype of H. perforatum containing no rutin, though the chemotype with higher levels of both rutin and hyperoside was more frequent. The accessions of H. perforatum also showed remarkable differences in chemical composition depending on the origin of plants. Therefore, employing the correct developmental stage for the harvesting of the selected accessions of H. perforatum is highly recommended for the quality production of the drug Hyperici herba.  相似文献

??Pichi?? or ??pichi romero?? (Fabiana imbricata R. et. P., Solanaceae) is a Chilean plant used as a tea in the Andean regions of Chile and Argentina. A very simple and direct method was developed for the qualitative analysis of polyphenols in the tea by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) with diode array detection and electrospray ionization tandem mass spectrometry. The phenolic constituents identified in the teas were chlorogenic acid (3-O-caffeoylquinic acid), p-hydroxyacetophenone, scopoletin and quercetin derivatives. The glycosides were mainly glucosides from p-hydroxyacetophenone and scopoletin while di- and tri-glycosides from quercetin were the main flavonoids. The content of the main phenolic compounds in the teas (g/100?g lyophilized infusion) was 0.8?C1.9?% for scopoletin, 0.4?C6.2?% for p-hydroxyacetophenone and 2.1?C4.3?% for rutin, respectively. The health-promoting properties reported for this herbal tea can be associated with the presence of several phenolics with known antioxidant, diuretic and antiinflammatory activity.  相似文献

为了解节节麦(Aegilops tauschii Coss.)不同生育期叶片表皮蜡质组成及晶体形态的变化,对节节麦叶片蜡质进行提取,利用气相色谱-质谱(GC-MS)联用仪和气相色谱-火焰离子化检测仪(GC-FID)对蜡质进行了定性和定量分析,并采用扫描电镜(SEM)对叶片表面蜡质晶体形态进行了观察。结果表明,节节麦叶表皮蜡质经GC-MS分析,共鉴定出化合物21种,主要以初级醇为主(苗期、抽穗期和灌浆期相对含量分别为85%、84%和70%),并含有少量的烷烃、醛、酮和脂肪酸;随着节节麦的生长发育,蜡质总量不断积累,烷烃含量极显著地升高,其中以C29烷烃的增加最明显,而初级醇含量显著降低,其中C26醇的相对含量降低最明显(苗期、抽穗期和灌浆期相对含量分别为80%、76%和63%),其他各类化合物组分变化不大。经扫描电镜观察,节节麦叶片近轴和远轴面的蜡质晶体形态无明显差别,苗期均为片状,抽穗期大部分仍以片状形态存在,并且蜡质晶体的密集程度比苗期稀疏,灌浆期蜡质晶体的密集程度变得更加稀疏。这些变化可能与抽穗期、灌浆期烷烃含量的增加和初级醇含量的减少有关。  相似文献

 利用农田开放式空气CO2浓度增高 (free air CO2 enrichment,FACE) 系统,CO2浓度设正常CO2 (ambient, AMB) 和高CO2 (FACE,AMB + 200 μmol/mol) 2个水平,施N量设低氮 (LN,15 g/m2,以纯氮计)、中氮 (NN,25 g/m2)和高氮 (HN,35 g / m2) 3个水平,对水稻品种武香粳14结实期剑叶和倒2叶的内肽酶活力变化情况进行了研究。结果表明: 1) 同AMB相比,FACE处理使剑叶抽穗后10 d、20 d以及倒2叶抽穗到抽穗后20 d内肽酶活力明显提高,但使剑叶成熟期内肽酶活力明显下降;使剑叶抽穗后10 d、20 d和成熟期以及倒2叶抽穗到成熟期内肽酶比活力明显提高;FACE对抽穗后10 d、20 d叶片内肽酶活力和比活力影响较大,而对抽穗期和成熟期的影响较小。同LN相比,HN使灌浆前期叶片内肽酶活力明显降低,灌浆中后期则呈增加趋势;HN降低了叶片各期内肽酶比活力,灌浆前期降幅大于后期。 2) 同AMB相比,FACE使叶片抽穗后10 d至成熟期可溶性蛋白含量明显降低;同LN相比,HN明显减缓FACE处理对抽穗后10 d至成熟期功能叶片可溶性蛋白含量的影响。 3)除成熟期叶片可溶性蛋白含量与内肽酶活力呈正相关外,结实期剑叶及倒2叶可溶性蛋白含量与对应时期内肽酶活力呈显著负相关。上述结果说明,FACE处理下水稻剑叶及倒2叶结实中后期可溶性蛋白含量明显下降与结实期叶片内肽酶活力的变化关系密切。  相似文献

以先玉335、郑单958、京科968为材料,以玉米螟(Ostrinia furnacalis)、黏虫(Mythimna separata)和禾谷缢管蚜(Rhopalosiphum padi)为供试昆虫,探究玉米品系大喇叭口期对玉米螟和黏虫及抽雄期对禾谷缢管蚜抗性差异,测定其主要抗虫化合物丁布类物质的含量。结果发现,京科968对玉米螟及禾谷缢管蚜抗性均高于另外两个品系;对黏虫的抗性,郑单958和京科968高于先玉335。大喇叭口期京科968中丁布类物质含量最高,抽雄期郑单958和京科968中主要丁布成分含量均高于先玉335,上述组织中丁布合成相关基因在郑单958及京科968中的表达量也均高于先玉335。本研究揭示杂交玉米抗虫性与抗性相关化合物含量及其相关基因表达间存在正向相关关系,为抗虫玉米分子育种提供理论参考。  相似文献

Amaranth(Amaranthus L. cruentus) and collards (Kale) (Brassica oleracea L. var.acephala, (DC.) Alef cv. Vates) were compared for total and soluble contents of iron, calcium and magnesium. Raw and cooked leaf blades were homogenized and subjected toin vitro peptic digestion.Raw amaranth leaf blades contained more total iron than collards, but after cooking more soluble iron was released from collards than from amaranth.Calcium in collards was highly soluble but of very low solubility in amaranth.Magnesium was of high and similar solubility in both species.
Zusamenfassung Der Gesamtgehalt und der Gehalt an löslichem Eisen, Kalzium und Magnesium im Grünkohl (Brassica oleracea L. var.acephala, (DC.) Alef. cv. Vates) und im Amaranth (Amaranthus L.cruentus) wurden untersucht und verglichen. Rohe und gekochte Blätter wurden homogenisiert und einer in vitro Pepsin-Verdauung unterzogen.Der Gesamteisengehalt in rohen Amaranthblättern war höher als in Kohlblättern, während nach dem Kochen Kohl mehr lösliches Eisen aufwies als Amaranth.Kohl enthielt mehr lösliches Kalzium als Amaranth. Beide Spezies enthielten gut lösliches Magnesium in ähnlich hohen Mengen.

Résumé L'amaranthe (Amaranthus L.cruenthus) et le chou frisé (Brassica oleracea L. var.acephala, (DC.) Alef. cv. Vates) on été comparés quant à leur teneur, totale et soluble, en fer, calcium et magnesium. Les feuilles (limbes), crues et après cuisson, ont été homogénéisées et soumises a une digestion peptiquein vitro. Les feuilles crues d'amaranthe contenaient plus de fer total que celles de chou frisé, mais après cuisson on a extrait davantage de fer soluble a partir du chou frisé. Le calcium dans le chou frisé était très soluble alors, sa solubilité était très faible pour l'amaranthe. Pour le magnesium, la solubilité est élevée et semblable dans les deux espèces.

The hydro-alcoholic extracts of five Equisetum species, E. arvense L., E. sylvaticum L., E. fluviatile L., E. palustre L. and E. telmateia Ehrh., growing-wild in Serbia were evaluated for their genotoxicity, antimicrobial activity, antioxidant capacity and the results related to the total phenol content and HPLC flavonoid profiles. The total phenol content was 92–349 μmol expressed as equivalents of chlorogenic acid per g of dried plant material. Main identified compounds were kaempferol-, quercetin- glycosides and caffeic acid derivatives. E. telmateia extract showed the greatest antioxidant capacity. Almost all tested microorganisms demonstrated some degree of sensitivity to the examined extracts. All tested extracts at 62.5 μg/ml showed higher incidence of micronucleus formation than in the control sample. The obtained data allowed mutual comparison of examined species and their assessment as possible sources of antioxidants, antimicrobials and/or genotoxic substances.  相似文献
