毛泡桐悬浮细胞培养及其植株再生

先将毛泡桐叶片在MS,WPM,KM_8P和B_5等液体基本培养基中进行悬浮培养,然后建立毛泡桐叶片悬浮细胞培养及其体外植株再生体系.结果表明,毛泡桐叶片愈伤组织悬浮诱导最适培养基为改良MS+0.2 mg·L~(-1) NAA+8 mg·L~(-1)BA;细胞悬浮培养的最佳起始密度为6.67×10~6个·mL~(-1);悬浮愈伤组织芽诱导和根诱导的最适培养基分别为MS+0.3 mg·L~(-1)NAA+17 mg·L~(-1)BA和1/2MS+0.1 mg·L~(-1)NAA.     

干细胞与肿瘤研究进展

肿瘤是危害人类健康的恶性疾病,近年来越来越多证据显示肿瘤与干细胞有着密切的关系。肿瘤可能是干细胞在异常微环境中差异分化的结果。它与正常干细胞有相似的表面标志和生化特点。在此,综述了干细胞与肿瘤发生的关系及干细胞工程在肿瘤治疗中的应用前景,旨在为肿瘤发生发育的研究及干细胞在肿瘤治疗方面的应用提供理论依据。     

Plantlets from aspen tissue cultures

After 2 weeks in the dark, leafy shoots were initiated on subcultured callus tissue of triploid quaking aspen on Wolter's medium without auxin and with 6-benzylaminopurine at 0.05, 0.10., 0.15, or 0.20 milligram per liter substituted for kinetin. Shoots transferred to Wolter's medium under light (323 milliphots) grew large roots and were isolated as plantlets.     

Primary immune reactions in organ cultures

Primary immune reactions were initiated and maintained in vitro. Spleen explants from mice treated with either phytohemagglutinin or adjuvant were stimulated to form hemagglutinins and hemolysins, whereas no treatment of spleen donors was necessary to invoke a "graft-versus-host" response which led to specific splenomegly.     

Herbicide-resistant mutants from tobacco cell cultures

Several mutants resistant to the herbicides chlorsulfuron and sulfometuron methyl were isolated form cultured cells of Nicotiana tabacum. Resistance was inherited as a single dominant or semidominant mutation in all cases. Linkage analysis of six mutants identified two unlinked genetic loci. Studies of plants homozygous for one mutation showed the mutant plants to be completely resistant to treatment with a concentration of chlorsulfuron 100 times higher than that which produces symptoms of phytotoxicity on normal plants.     

Common antigen in meningioma-derived cell cultures

Serums of patients with intracranial meningiomas reacted in immunofluorescence assays with cell cultures and tumor imprints prepared from human meningiomas. Antibody in these serums appears to be specific for antigens in meningioma tissue and shows some cross-reactivity with neoplastic tissue of glial origin.
