The content of As and heavy metals (Pb, Cd, Ni, and Cu) in total suspended particulate (TSP) and PM10 at 3 locations (Park, Institute, and Jugopetrol) near the copper smelter in Bor (Serbia) has been analyzed within the period 2004 to 2015 with the aim of investigating the seasonal and spatial changes of those pollutants in the suspended particles. The content of As in TSP and PM10 was over the annual EU limit value at all measuring points during the entire period of observation, while contents of Cd and Pb were periodically above the annual EU limits. There were no statistically significant seasonal changes between mean levels of the observed elements in the cold (October–March) and warm (April–September) periods during the year. A strong and moderate positive correlation was detected between the concentrations of each particular element (except Ni) at all measuring points. Additionally, Cd was the most enriched element followed by Pb, As, and Cu, while Ni was low-enriched. The constant air pollution with As particles, sometimes in concentrations even 20 times higher than the permitted annual value, requires urgent undertaking of concrete actions in order to reduce anthropogenic emission of suspended particles in Bor.  相似文献

为探索铜冶炼厂周边农田区大气重金属沉降的时空变异特征,以冶炼厂为中心,四周等距离均匀分设8个监测点,于2012年5月至2013年4月,根据酸沉降检测技术规范,采收大气干湿沉降混合样品,利用原子吸收分光光度法分析样品中cu、cd、Pb、zn、cr含量,计算各监测点所代表区域各类重金属沉降通量。结果显示,研究区重金属cu、cd、Pb、zn、cr的年沉降通量分别为638、6.56、70.0、225、22.7mg·m^-1·a^-1。五种重金属沉降量具有一定的时间变化特征,其中cd、zn和cr的月际间变化显著(P〈O.05,n=96),Pb、zn、cr季节间变化显著(P〈O.05,n=32),而cu无显著的月间或季间变化。空间上,cu、cd、Pb年沉降通量有极显著性差异(P〈0.Ol,n=8),以铜冶炼厂西南方向的九牛岗监测点最高,而zn和cr则无显著性差异。  相似文献

Source apportionment analysis was used to identify the factors contributing to atmospheric pollution at a monitoring location in the Southeast of Spain, a well documented area with an arid climate and high insolation favouring two sources of particulate matter: secondary transformation in the atmosphere and resuspension of crustal dry soils to the air. These conditions are further complicated by numerous industrial facilities in the area of the historical city of Cartagena. This paper describes the air quality of an area which includes a zinc metallurgical industry, a petrochemical factory, an oil power station, a shipyard and natural phenomena including African dust transport and resuspension of regional and/or local crustal materials. Major and trace element concentrations in PM10 and PM2.5 were determined at two monitoring stations in Cartagena (one PM10 sampler located at a traffic hotspot and the PM2.5 sampler at a suburban station), during 2004 and 2005. Results showed that in the PM10 fraction, the zinc metallurgical activity was linked to high levels of Cd, Zn and Pb; shipyard emission was associated with high levels of Cr and Ni; and high Ni and V levels were associated with the secondary aerosol indicating the contribution from oil combustion (oil-fired power station or petrochemical facilities). In the PM2.5 size fraction, the zinc source is defined by Zn and Pb; V, Ni and As appear with the oil combustion emissions. In contrast to PM10, shipyard activity is not consistently defined. Consistent sources found in both size fractions include crustal materials and traffic emissions.  相似文献

This paper reports the use of LIDAR technique, vertical wind profiler (VWP) and the coupled MM5-CMAQ air quality modeling system to investigate a high PM10 concentration episode occurred in Beijing, China during January 8–9, 2004. Through the regression analysis between the observed PM10 concentrations and the observed extinction coefficients, the converting formulas from the LIDAR records to the PM10 mass concentrations in Beijing have been found. Further, a 2-level-nested grid domain with spatial resolutions of 36 and 12 km have been designed and employed for this study, and the coupled MM5-CMAQ modeling system has then been evaluated using both the ground-level PM10 observations and the vertical profiles of PM10 deduced from the measured LIDAR extinction coefficients. Based on the verified modeling system, two emission scenarios were designed to quantitatively assess the trans-boundary PM10 contributions from the surrounding provinces of Beijing. The results illustrated that the particulate matter buildup over the Beijing region was due to a number of factors, including pollutants brought in from its surrounding provinces by the southwest winds and the emission from local sources within Beijing. It indicates that while Beijing needs to take positive steps to reduce its own pollution emissions, much effort should also be placed on demanding more pollution reduction and better environmental performance from its surrounding provinces.  相似文献

It is mainly SO2 that bring about acid rain in China. Changchun City, which is located in Northeast China, is a typical city that is polluted by SO2 from coal combustion in winter. In winter, the daily mean concentration of atmospheric SO2 is about 0.10mg/m3 and about 5 times as high as in summer, and the daily highest concentration usually appears in daybreak and nightfall. The monitored lowest pH value of rainwater was 4.8 in spring and the range of pH value of rain/snow was 5.2–6.0 in winter, 4.8–5.8 in spring, 5.4–6.4 in summer, 5.6–6.4 in autumn, and the annual mean pH value of rainfalls was 5.8 (1999–2000). Because the alkaline aerosol from soil, meteorological conditions etc., is unfavorable to acid rain formation, even though high SO2 emission intensity existed in winter, the acid rain did not appear obviously. The aerosol character, climate conditions in Northeast China are important factors for the acid rain formation, although SO2 emission is the original cause.  相似文献

Four lichen species, Parmelia sulcata Taylor, Hypogymnia physodes (L.) Nyl., Cetraria islandica (L.)Ach., and Bryoria fuscescens (Gyelnik) Brodo andHawksworth were exposed during autumn and winter at differentsites of the Erzgebirge (Ore Mountains), the Fichtelgebirge andcontrol sites. All lichens tested became visibly damaged withtime. Thallus bleaching started from the edges and went on tothe centre of the thallus. Sites of facilitated gas exchangelike the soralia of P. sulcata and the pseudocyphelles ofC. islandica became preferentially bleached. The sulfateconcentration increased with exposure time reaching 200% ofunpolluted controls. In contrast to coniferous trees (e.g. Picea abies), further exposure lead to a reduction in the S-concentration in the lichens, as sulfate and otherintracellular metabolites were leached from the thalli due tomembrane damage. The changes in the K-concentration proved tobe an excellent measure for membrane leakiness; it wascorrelated with time of exposure and with SO2 concentrations at the different sites. Photosynthetic capacityand respiration were also strongly affected. Depending on theSO2-dose, the Bryoria species were unable tophotosynthesize as early as 4–8 weeks after exposure, whereasCetraria and Hypogymnia showed clear reduction intheir ability to photoreduce CO2 within 8–10 weeks ofexposure in the field. Parmelia sulcata was found to bethe most tolerant species. After 3–4 months, photosynthesis wasreduced by only 30%. The bioindicative value of theseobservations is discussed.  相似文献

The formation of chlorination by-products (CBPs) was investigated through bench-scale chlorination experiments with river water. The compounds selected for analysis belonged to the groups of trihalomethanes, haloacetic acids, haloketones and haloacetonitriles. Trihalomethanes and haloacetic acids were the major species formed during chlorination, while haloketones and haloacetonitriles occurred at lower levels. The factors affecting the formation of these compounds were examined by two sets of experiments; the first with varying pH and reaction time, and the second with varying chlorine dose and temperature. Different effects of these factors were observed for different categories of CBPs, and in many cases, these effects were compound-specific, as confirmed by statistical analysis. Optimization of chlorination conditions in water treatment plants is a critical issue that should take into account the influence of chlorination parameters on the formation of individual CBPs.  相似文献

选择江苏南部冶炼厂周边污染的水稻田,采集耕层0~15cm的土壤,分析土壤中重金属Cd、Pb、Hg、As、Zn、Cu的污染程度及其空间变异特征。结果表明,土壤Cd、Pb、Cu、Zn、Hg的全量随着距污染源距离的增加而减少,呈现由东北向西南扩散的趋势,As则是由西北向东南扩散。6种重金属中Cd、Hg的污染范围相对较大,Zn的污染范围最小。DTPA浸提的6种重金属有效态含量都是距污染源距离越远而越少。采用内梅罗综合污染指数法对土壤中的重金属进行风险评价,土壤重金属的综合污染指数为39.27,污染程度已超过5级,为重度污染,其中Cd、Hg污染最为严重,含量范围分别为3.98~44.58mg·kg-1、0.36~2.01mg·kg-1,As为中度污染,Pb、Cu、Zn则为轻度污染,说明研究区域农产品安全生产存在很大的风险。  相似文献

以苏南某冶炼厂原址场地附近土壤、水稻为对象,研究了土壤及水稻籽粒中重金属(Cu、Pb、Cd)污染状况及其迁移、累积特征。结果表明,研究区土壤重金属综合污染指数均大于3,污染等级超过5级,属重度污染且各重金属间污染程度呈现Cd〉Cu〉Pb的特征,水稻籽粒中重金属Pb、Cd超标严重。在迁移、累积方面,表层土壤重金属呈现出由东南向西北方向扩散的趋势,且向下迁移及在水稻籽粒中累积的趋势明显,各重金属在水稻籽粒中富集能力的大小顺序为Cu〉Cd〉Pb。  相似文献

Particulate matter measurements (PM10, PM2.5) using a beta radiation attenuation monitor were performed at the Akrotiri research station (May 2003–March 2006) on the island of Crete (Greece). The mean PM10 concentration during the measuring period (05/02/03–03/09/04) was equal to 35.0?±?17.7 μg/m3 whereas the mean PM2.5 concentration (03/10/04–04/02/06) was equal to 25.4?±?16.5 μg/m3. The aerosol concentration at the Akrotiri station shows a large variability during the year. Mean concentrations of particulate matter undergo a seasonal change characterised by higher concentrations during summer [PM10, 38.7?±?10.8 μg/m3 (2003); PM2.5, 27.9?±?8.7 μg/m3 (2004) and 27.8?±?9.7 μg/m3 (2005)] and lower concentrations during winter [PM10, 28.7?±?22.5 μg/m3 (2003/2004); PM2.5, 21.0?±?13.0 μg/m3 (2004/2005) and 21.4?±?21.9 μg/m3 (2005/2006)]. Comparative measurements of the PM10 concentration between the beta radiation attenuation monitor, a standardized low volume gravimetric reference sampler and a low volume sequential particulate sampler showed that PM10 concentrations measured by the beta radiation attenuation monitor were higher than values given by the gravimetric samplers (mean ratio 1.17?±?0.11 and 1.21?±?0.08, respectively). Statistical and back trajectory analysis showed that elevated PM concentrations (PM10, 93.8?±?49.1 μg/m3; PM2.5: 102.9?±?59.9 μg/m3) are associated to desert dust events. In addition regional transport contributes significantly to the aerosol concentration levels whereas low aerosol concentrations were observed during storm episodes.  相似文献

Source profiles (fractional mass abundances and uncertainties) for use in chemical mass balance (CMB) source apportionment are reported for soil dust from unpaved roads and desert lands. The objectives were to add to the library of source composition profiles available for CMB studies, and to provide data on the variation in wind-blown dust composition between particle sizes and geographical locations. Samples were resuspended and sampled through PM1, PM2.5 and PM10 inlets onto filters, then chemically analyzed for 40 elements, seven ions and eight carbon fractions. Air quality management would benefit from technology that can distinguish soil dust from sites in different geographical locations and sites with different land uses. Five geographical clusters representing Ft Bliss, TX, Dona Ana County, NM, Ft Irwin, CA, the west desert and the Canyonlands, UT, were examined. Distinctive differences were found between sites within a cluster and these differences were comparable to the differences between cluster averages. Some sites showed small differences in chemical composition between particle sizes, but these differences were less than the differences observed between nearby geographical locations. Dust emissions from sites with uniform geology have distinctive source profiles that may be useful for CMB receptor modeling. Heterogeneous regions, defined by land management boundaries, will require extensive field sampling to develop representative composite source profiles.  相似文献

Understanding and controlling air pollution in highly populated areas is very important, although interpreting the levels of gaseous pollutants and airborne particulate matter is complicated by dominant natural and anthropogenic emissions, micro-meteorological processes, and chemical reactions which take place directly in the atmosphere. For this reason, it is very difficult to relate the characteristics of air pollution to one or more specific emission sources. The aim of this paper is to detect associations among elements and organic compounds emitted from specific sources by means of chemical analyses, statistical processing of data, seasonal evolution study, and geochemical considerations to trace their origin. A detailed characterization of air quality during the period September 2000–September 2001 was carried out in three locations of the Venice region: A heavy traffic urban site, a public park, and the island centre of the city of Venice. Twenty-eight inorganic elements, four polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, CO and benzene were quantified and processed by a statistical procedure based on factor analysis considering variations on a seasonal basis. Results show the presence of associations between elements and compounds with the same behaviour in all sampling points. This indicates that several pollutants originate from a common source, and are then “diluted” throughout the study area, maintaining the imprint of their origin. Pt, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, CO and benzene originating from the exhaust gas of vehicles are all linked in the traffic factor, whereas Cd is associated with Se, having a common source in industrial processes.  相似文献

PM10 particles were collected over three sites in France. The first one, Montagney was a rural site that was considered as a reference site. The second site Saclay, close to a highway, was used to study the influence of the traffic. The third site was Dunkerque, one of the most industrial areas in France for the production of steel, aluminium and petroleum refinement. More than 50 element concentrations were determined by instrumental neutron activation analysis and inductively coupled plasma–mass spectrometry. Comparisons between Saclay and Montagney shown that some elements, considered as crustal elements had similar concentration variations and weak (close to 1) enrichment factors. Elements with enrichment factors higher than 10 shown in Montagney correlated variations, with a Winter maximum, that should be due to Winter heating sources. Over Saclay, most of elements with high enrichment factors were attributed to the dense traffic of the highway. This is particularly true for Mn, Fe, Zn, Ba, Sb, Cu. Some additional elements correlated also, without a particular origin that can be ascertained. In Dunkerque, the most important industry is steel production. Correlation studies shown that Tl, Cs, Ba, Ag, Cu, Rb, Se, Mn, Pb concentration variations were closely associated to the Fe concentration variations. The second polluting industry is aluminium production. Correlation studies allowed to associate Ni, Y, Co, V, rare earth elements, Ti, Sr, Th, U, Ca, Sc, concentration variations to the aluminium concentration variations. A third important industry is petroleum refinement. The only element observed here and that is suspected to be emitted more specifically is La, used in cracking processes. An important enrichment of La with respect to Ce is observed. A strong decrease of the ratio Cl/Na was observed over the three sites, between the beginning of the experiment in Autumn 2005, and its end in Spring 2006. This was attributed to a release of gaseous HCl, produced by acidification of aerosols by other pollutants like NO x and SO x , that should have been oxidized to NO2 and SO3, then dissolved in the aerosols. The effects responsible for the loss of Cl, represents a large surface and long-term pollution event over the North of France. This work allowed a characterization of the heavy metal concentrations of the aerosol that will sustain results published in a companion paper, and that concerned the bio-accumulation of metals by Scleropodium purum, simultaneously exposed in the same sites.  相似文献

河北省大气污染对不同绿化植物生理生态特性的影响   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
以常见的4种城市绿化植物为研究对象,从叶片生理生态特性及荧光特性多个方面研究了河北省5个城市大气监测点的绿化植物叶片生理生态特性及叶绿素荧光特性的差别。综合污染指数表明:5个主要城市监测点污染程度由大到小的顺序是:石家庄 > 邢台 > 邯郸 > 唐山 > 张家口,并且SO2和NOx浓度均呈逐年增加的趋势,相同年份SO2和NOx浓度基本表现为:石家庄 > 邢台 > 邯郸 > 唐山 > 张家口,局部有所波动。不同绿化植物叶片类胡萝卜素和叶绿素含量大小排序为:榆叶梅 > 香樟 > 合欢 > 洋白蜡;不同绿化植物叶片细胞膜渗透率大小的排序为:洋白蜡 > 合欢 > 香樟 > 榆叶梅;不同绿化植物叶片可溶性蛋白和可溶性糖含量呈现出一致的变化规律,均表现为榆叶梅和合欢高于洋白蜡和香樟;游离脯氨酸和丙二醛含量呈现出一致的变化规律,均表现为榆叶梅和合欢低于洋白蜡和香樟,由此说明洋白蜡和香樟受大气污染较为严重。不同绿化植物叶片Fv/Fm,Fv/Fo,qP和ΦPSⅡ大小基本为合欢和榆叶梅高于洋白蜡和香樟,不同绿化植物叶片qN大小基本为洋白蜡和香樟高于合欢和榆叶梅,不同绿化植物叶片qP差异不显著(p > 0.05)。外源SO3-和MV照光处理5 d,不同绿化植物叶片之间反应的差距增大,洋白蜡和香樟的细胞膜渗透率甚为严重,由此表明合欢和榆叶梅对大气污染的耐受力较强,洋白蜡和香樟则较为敏感,对大气污染的耐受力较低。因此,控制污染源的排放是控制河北省乃至全国大气污染加剧和改善城市绿化景观的重要措施,需要给予极大的关注。  相似文献

通过对重庆市居住区、公园、商业区和交通区等不同功能区绿地土壤重金属Hg的分析,讨论了绿地建成时间、土壤理化性质等不同因子对土壤重金属Hg的影响。重庆市不同功能区土壤重金属Hg平均含量均低于国家土壤环境质量二级标准,土壤Hg污染较轻。但82.89%的调查样点土壤汞含量超过当地土壤背景值,表明该市大部分区域存在外源汞的影响。总体上,居住区和公园绿地土壤Hg污染不明显;但交通区绿地土壤重金属Hg污染较为严重。地质累积指数表明,重庆市34.21%的区域土壤未出现汞的明显污染,65.79%的绿地土壤已有不同程度的Hg污染。研究发现,调查区域绿地土壤中,建成时间对重金属Hg含量影响最大,土壤理化性质对Hg影响次之。  相似文献

为明确微生物诱导碳酸钙沉淀技术(microbial induced calcium carbonate precipitation,MICP)在干旱半干旱高风蚀地区重金属尾矿治理效果,以研究区生境土中筛选的碳酸盐矿化细菌—纺锤型赖氨酸芽孢杆菌(Lysinibacillus fusiformis)为研究对象,通过在尾矿渣中加注纺锤型赖氨酸芽孢杆菌菌液和由1 mol/L的尿素及氯化钙配制成的胶结液进行室内模拟试验,研究MICP处理前后尾矿坡顶、坡中、坡底(坡顶—细颗粒(K1<5 mm)、坡中—中颗粒(5 mm15 mm))不同粒径尾矿渣中重金属元素含量、pH、电导率及酶活性等基础理化性质的变化,利用双因素方差分析和相关性热图比较分析揭示基于生境微生物的MICP修复技术对区域不同粒径尾矿渣污染物治理的效果及确定MICP技术对不同粒径尾矿渣修复的菌剂用量。结果表明,采用MICP技术对尾矿渣中重金属含量、pH、电导率及酶活性等基础理化性质有显著影响。MICP处理下细颗粒(K1<5 mm)尾矿渣中As降低21%,中颗粒(5 mm15 mm)中Pb降低22%。K1、K3中的pH降低5%,K2降低4%。K1中全钾、脲酶均升高33%(p<0.05),K2中全碳升高39%(p<0.05),K3中蔗糖酶升高7%(p<0.05),微生物碳氮在K1、K2、K3中显著升高(p<0.05)。同时MICP处理下Ni与Pb、As与Cu、电导率与Pb等呈极显著正相关(p<0.01),pH与Pb呈极显著负相关(p<0.01),在MICP技术处理后,全碳、全氮、全钾、全磷及有机质和重金属元素含量间的相关性增强。综上所述基于生境微生物的MICP修复技术能够降低尾矿渣重金属元素含量,调节尾矿渣土体养分状况从而调节污染土体质量,降低由矿产开发导致的环境污染风险。同时,进一步确定不同颗粒尾矿渣达到修复治理水平所需菌剂用量,具有污染土质治理修复应用价值。  相似文献

为了解包头市铜厂周边地区土壤剖面中重金属污染状况,采用火焰原子吸收分光光度法和Tessier连续提取法,对土壤中6种重金属(Cu,Zn,Mn,Ni,Pb和Cd)的垂直分布特征、形态及潜在生物可利用性进行了分析。结果表明:研究区土壤剖面各层土壤中6种重金属含量均超过内蒙古土壤背景值,Cu,Pb和Cd为主要污染物。随采样深度的增加,Cu,Zn,Pb和Mn的含量呈现下降趋势,且由相关性系数可知重金属Cu,Zn和Pb可能有相同人为或自然污染源;土壤剖面中6种重金属均主要以残渣态存在,含量均在50%以上,对生物危害较小;潜在生物可利用性分析结果为:Cu(32.61%) > Mn(31.85%) > Ni(24.90%) > Zn(16.60%) > Cd(15.23%) > Pb(14.87%),Cu和Mn的潜在生物可利用性较大,其次为Ni,Zn,Cd和Pb潜在生物可利用性较小。  相似文献

Mobile sources are significant contributors to ambient particulate matter (PM) in the United States. As the emphasis shifts from PM10 to PM2.5, it becomes particularly important to account for the mobile source contribution to observed particulate levels since these sources may be the major contributor to the fine particle fraction. This is due to the fact that most mobile source mass emissions have an aerodynamic diameter less than 2.5 µm, while the particles of geological origin that tend to dominate the PM10 fraction generally have an aerodynamic diameter greater than 2.5 µm. A common approach to assess the relative contributions of sources to observed particulate mass concentrations is the application of source apportionment methods. These methods include material balance, chemical mass balance (CMB), and multivariate receptor models. This paper describes a number recent source attribution studies performed in the United States in order to evaluate the range of the mobile source contribution to observed PM. In addition, a review of the methods used to apportion source contributions to ambient particulate loadings is presented.  相似文献

The difficulty in forecasting concentration trends with a reasonable error is still an open problem. In this paper, an effort has been made to this purpose. Artificial Neural Networks are used in order to forecast the maximum daily value of the European Regional Pollution Index as well as the number of consecutive hours, during the day, with at least one of the pollutants above a threshold concentration, 24 to 72 h ahead. The prediction concerns seven different places within the Greater Athens Area, Greece. The meteorological and air pollution data used in this study have been recorded by the network of the Greek Ministry of the Environment, Physical Planning, and Public Works over a 5-year period, 2001–2005. The hourly values of air pressure and global solar irradiance for the same period have been recorded by the National Observatory of Athens. The results are in a very good agreement with the real-monitored data at a statistical significance level of p?<?0.01.  相似文献
