Our previous study had demonstrated cytotoxicity of EtOAc fraction from aerial part of Cimicifuga foetida on various cancer cell lines. In the present study, we investigated the cytotoxicity of five cycloartane triterpenoids isolated from the EtOAc fraction. Compounds (1,2,3) showed moderate cytotoxic activity on R-HepG2 cells and drug resistant sub line R-HepG2 but exhibited less toxicity against primary cultured normal mouse hepatocytes. Compounds (4) and (5) were inactive on all tested cell lines.  相似文献

Four new sesquiterpenes, chlorajapolides F–I (1–4), along with nine known terpenoids (5–13) were isolated from the aerial part of Chloranthus japonicus. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic analysis, and a lindenane sesquiterpene, named 9-hydroxy-heterogorgiolide, previously isolated from the C. japonicus, was revised as its 8-epimer (1a). Moreover, methanol extract (ME), EtOAc fraction (EF), water fraction (WF), and all isolates (1a, 1–13) were evaluated for their cytotoxicities using two human cancer cell lines.  相似文献

A new coumaronochromone, 6,4'-dihydroxy-7,5' -dimethoxy-coumaronochromone (1), together with eleven known flavonoids (2-12) were isolated from the ethanol extract of the aerial part of Derris elliptica. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic analysis. Compounds 2, 4, 7, 8 and 9 exhibited moderate insecticidal activities against larvae of Aedes albopictus. All compounds showed strong cytotoxic activities against Spodoptera litura (SL) and Trichoplusia ni BTI-Tn-5B1-4 (Hi-5) cells comparison to positive control of rotenone.  相似文献

Ten coumarins were isolated from Peucedanum luxurians. The rare coumarins stenocarpin, stenocarpin isobutyrate, officinalin, officinalin isobutyrate, 8-methoxypeucedanin and the known xanthotoxin, isoimperatorin, bergaptene, peucedanin and cnidilin were isolated. The antioxidant activity of the methanol extract of Hypericum triquetrifolium Turra (Hypericaceae) aerial part and of flavonoids isolated therein, I3,II8-biapigenin, quercetin-3-O-galactoside, kaempferol-3-O-glycoside, (-)-epicatechin and hypericin, was evaluated. 优选回流法提取兴安白芷总香豆素的最佳工艺.采用正交试验法,以乙醇浸膏得率及总香豆素含量为考察指标,对乙醇浓度、回流时间、溶媒用量、提取次数4个影响因素进行研究.结果表明,最佳工艺为A3B2C1D2,即用10倍量的95%的乙醇回流2次,每次2h.影响兴安白芷茎中总香豆素得率的最主要因素是乙醇浓度.  相似文献

The effect of the methanol extract from aerial parts of Bupleurum fruticescens on the release of eicosanoids and hydrolytic enzymes was determined on in vitro cell systems. The extract had a significant effect on 5-lipoxygenase (5-LOX) activity, inhibiting both LTB4 and 5(S)-HETE production with IC50 values of 112 microg/ml and 95 microg/ml, respectively. At concentrations of 200 microg/ml, the extract also inhibited cyclooxygenase-1 (90%) and elastase activities (54%). The 12-LOX activity in intact platelets was not affected; a fact, which suggests that phospholipase A2 (PLA2) activity, is not modified by the extract.  相似文献

This study examined the possibilities of using computerized digital aerial photograph interpretation in determining the spatial distribution of trees. The material of the study included eight mapped stands in the municipality of Hyytiälä (61°50′N and 24°18′E), in southern Finland. The aerial photographs used were taken in June 1995 at a scale of 1:5000. Two approaches for determining the spatial pattern of trees were used. Firstly, in the point-process based approach used in this study, the individual trees in the digital aerial photograph were segmented by a robust segmentation method, based on recognition of the pattern of tree crowns with sub-pixel accuracy. Secondly, the crown coverage was determined by region growing segmentation combined with active surface representation. The significance of the differences in the means of image coverage pattern indices between the various spatial distribution categories was tested with one-way variance analysis. Because the process misclassified clustered spatial patterns as regular patterns, and regular patterns as random patterns, the usability of digital aerial photographs seems to be limited for the point-process based determination of the spatial pattern of trees if the scale is 1:5000 or less. When image coverage pattern indices were applied, the differences in the means of the spatial distribution categories proved not to be clearly statistically significant due to the great variation within classes. However, interpretation of crown coverage could have applications in practical forestry due to the low resolution requirements for the images used.  相似文献

A new steroid, vernoanthelsterone A (1), and five known steroids were isolated from the aerial parts of Vernonia anthelmintica Willd. Compound 1 possesses a Δ(8(14))-15-one moiety. To our best knowledge, few steroids with this moiety have been reported before. Compounds 1-6 were tested for their antibacterial activities and their effects on estrogen biosynthesis in human ovarian granulosa-like cells (KGN cells). Compound 2 showed the ability to promote estrogen biosynthesis with EC(50) of 56.95 μg/mL and also exhibited the antibacterial activities against Bacillus cereus, Staphyloccocus aureus, Bacillus subtilis and Escherichia coli with MICs ranging from 3.15 to 15.5 μg/mL. The structures of 1-6 were determined on the basis of IR, MS, 1D and 2D NMR.  相似文献

Three new clerodane diterpenoid glycosides with l-arabinose (13), together with ten known compounds including phytol-type diterpenes, cycloartane-type, ursane-type, and oleanane-type triterpenes, were isolated from the aerial parts of Nannoglottis carpesioides which a Chinese endemic genus. The structures of the new compounds 13 were identified based on chemical and spectroscopic studies, including one- and two-dimensional NMR, HRESIMS, UV, and IR results. Their absolute configurations were determined by the application of theory calculations of optical rotation, which were compared with the experimental data. New aglycone 1a and l-arabinose were obtained by acid hydrolysis of 1 and GC–MS analysis. The cytotoxicities of some isolated compounds against a panel of human cancer cell lines were evaluated by the MTT assay. Clerodane diterpenoides are the characteristic chemical constituents and may be used as chemical markers of the genus Nannoglottis.  相似文献
