This study has been conducted to evaluate the usefulness of carbon isotope discrimination (δ) in mature kernels as a criterion for the improvement of water-use efficiency and yield under drought in durum wheat. For this purpose, Triticum durum‘Om Rabi 5’ was crossed with T. polonicum pseudochrysospermum 9 (Tp9) which has been found to be more drought tolerant and to have a lower carbon isotope discrimination value of the grain. The F2 population showed a wide segregation for carbon isotope discrimination. Further, divergent selections (selection of plants most different in carbon isotope discrimination) were made among individual F2 plants, and for carbon isotope discrimination in F3 progenies under field conditions. Selected F3 and F4 progenies were evaluated under field conditions for morphological and agronomical traits. Broad-sense heritability (h2b), response to selection and realized heritability (h2r) were high. The narrow-sense heritability (h2n= 0.37 ± 0.047) indicated that additive and dominance effects were involved in the genetic control of carbon isotope discrimination. Negative correlations were noted between carbon isotope discrimination and grain yield and between carbon isotope discrimination and biomass yield within years and generations. An explanation of this result is attempted by analysing the relationships between carbon isotope discrimination and several phenological and morphological traits influencing the water-use efficiency. The divergent groups selected for low and high carbon isotope discrimination exhibited significant differences for days to heading, plant height, shape of the spike and number of spikelets per spike. Correlations were also found between carbon isotope discrimination and plant height, harvest index, shape of the spike, spike length, and number of spikes per plant. The potential use of carbon isotope discrimination as a criterion for the improvement of water-use efficiency in durum wheat is discussed by considering the genetics of this trait (variability, heritability, response to selection) and also the associations with phenological and morphological traits.  相似文献

Wheat breeding programmes in Albania depend upon the use of diverse genetic material of local origin and on special environmental conditions; the present study being conducted under drought stress conditions. Grain yield, yield components, plant height and test weight were estimated in an F5 generation of a winter wheat population at Kamez in 1989—90 and 1990—91 and at Lushnje in 1989—90. The highest values of heritability were observed for plant height, kernel weight and spike length. Due to drought stress the heritability of kernels per spike was low. None of the correlated responses was higher than the direct response for yield. Maximum genetic gain was expected when yield, plant height, spike length, kernels/spike and kernel weight were included in the index.  相似文献

Different wheat genotypes were treated with gamma-rays, sodium azide (SA) and EMS before tissue culture and immature embryos from M1 plants or plants shortly after exposure to gamma-rays were used to initiate callus culture. Thousands of plants were regenerated and used to investigate the effect of mutagenic treatments on the regenerated plants and somaclonal variation in the M3R2 and M2R2 generations. The results showed that mutagen-induced damage in terms of reduction in plant height, fertility and spike length were not outstanding in the regenerated plants as compared with the untreated control. In the M3R2 generation, only SA treatment had significantly higher frequencies of somaclonal variations than the control. Increases in the variation frequencies were observed when explant embryos were irradiated with 2.5 and 5 gy gamma-rays and the highest frequency appeared when embryos were exposed to 5 gy gamma-rays on the 5th day after anthesis. Increased variation spectra also resulted from mutagenic treatments and most of the variants recovered were unsuitable for plant improvement.  相似文献

Summary Landrace genotypes of durum wheat, from 10 districts in Jordan, have been evaluated for 18 morphological and yield related traits. Results of multivariate analysis, including analysis of variance, cluster analysis and canonical discriminant analysis, indicate that the magnitude of phenotypic divergence in these landrace genotypes is large, especially when compared with a world collection of durum wheat. These results provide an experimental evidence for phenotypic differentiation as a result of variation in altitude and long-term average rainfall of collection sites, but not on the basis of district of collection. R2-values for fit to least squares model ranged from 67.0–78.0%, and from 18.5–30.0%, for the first and second cases, respectively. Landrace genotypes from different districts formed 5 clusters on the basis of altitude and long-term average rainfall of collection site. Three canonical factors accounted for 92% of total variance in these clusters. The first canonical factor accounted for 57% of total variance and was mainly correlated with spike length, awn length and spikelets/spike. The second canonical factor accounted for 22% of total variance and was positively correlated with peduncle length, seed weight per plant, kernel weight and ratio of peduncle length to plant height. However, it was negatively correlated with awn length. The phenotypic diversity found in these landrace genotypes could help identify genetically different genotypes for durum wheat improvement.  相似文献

SN224是从六倍体小黑麦与普通小麦杂种后代选育的矮秆小麦种质,为对其有效利用提供参考依据,本研究对其进行了细胞学和主要农艺性状的鉴定,对它矮秆性状的遗传特点进行了分析。结果表明,SN224平均株高68.6 cm,株型较紧凑,纺锤穗、有芒、白粒,千粒重42.0 g左右,中抗条锈病和白粉病,后期不早衰,综合农艺性状较好;SN224根尖细胞染色体数目为42条,花粉母细胞减数分裂MI可观察到21个二价体,为1BL?1RS易位系;SN224/辉县红杂种F1株高介于双亲之间,F2群体的株高分离表现连续变异。利用已知主效矮秆基因Rht-B1b、Rht-D1b和Rht8以及1RS的特异分子标记检测证明,SN224不含有3个矮秆主效基因,1RS对SN224矮秆性状的表达没有影响。利用SN224/辉县红F2群体,构建了含有134个标记的分子标记连锁遗传图谱,总长1332.1 cM。采用加性-完备区间作图法(ICIM-ADD)进行QTL分析,检测到2个降低株高的主效QTL QPh1B和QPh4B,分别位于1B染色体Xwmc719–Xgwm18和4B染色体Xgwm368–Xmag4284标记区间,它们可分别解释株高变异的20.0%和10.2%;检测到分别控制穗长、单株穗数和每穗小穗数的7个QTL;在4B染色体KSUM062–Xmag4284标记区间同时检测到降低株高、增加穗长和单株穗数的QTL。  相似文献

采用盆栽在六倍体小黑麦灌浆期控水模拟干旱,分析干旱对各个农艺性状指标的影响,然后采用模糊隶属函数与抗旱系数相结合的方法对品种灌浆期的抗旱性进行综合分析,再利用灰色关联度分析各个形态指标与抗旱性的关系,结果表明:(1)灌浆期水分胁迫下所有品种都表现出株高降低,穗长变短,单株粒重、千粒重下降,每穗总小穗数、主茎穗粒数减少,而且与对照之间达差异显著或极显著;(2)品种“Tornado”对灌浆期干旱具有强的抗性,可作为今后小麦抗旱育种的种质资源;(3)单株粒重、主茎穗粒数、千粒重与抗旱性关联度大,可作为灌浆期抗旱形态指标  相似文献

为明确小麦种质资源的遗传差异和特点,提高其利用效率,以株高、穗长、小穗数、穗粒数、千粒重5个主要农艺性状为指标,对来自黄淮麦区4省(河北、山东、河南和山西)的263个小麦品种(系)进行统计分析。显著性分析结果表明,除穗粒数外,4个省的小麦种质在其余各农艺性状上差异极显著。变异性分析结果表明,供试材料的5个农艺性状中穗粒数变异系数最大,小穗数变异系数最小;4省中,河北小麦株高、千粒重的变异系数最小,穗粒数变异系数最大;河南小麦穗长、小穗数和穗粒数的变异系数最小,千粒重变异系数最大;山东小麦穗长的变异系数最大;山西小麦株高、小穗数的变异系数最大。相关分析结果表明,株高与穗长呈极显著正相关,与小穗数呈极显著负相关;穗长与小穗数、穗粒数呈极显著正相关;小穗数与穗粒数呈极显著正相关;千粒重与穗粒数呈极显著负相关。因此,在育种实践中,可根据4省小麦种质农艺性状的变异特点筛选符合目标性状的亲本材料,同时加强种质基因库的更新。  相似文献

One hundred and ninety-seven wheat accessions from Yellow and Huai Winter Wheat Region (YHW) were evaluated for differences of 14 agronomic traits under low- and high-density plantings. Compared with the high-density plantings, plant height, neck length, uppermost internode length, flag leaf angle and number of sterile spikelets under the low-density plantings reduced, while heading date, flowering date, flag leaf length and width, spike length, number of fertile spikelets, grain number per spike, thousand-kernel weight and grain weight per spike increased. A total of 1,118 markers were detected based on GWAS, and seven QTLs were confirmed. One QTL on chromosomes 5BL and two other QTLs on 5Dl were all tightly associated with flowering date difference. Bioinformatics analysis revealed that two haploblocks in 5Dl were involved, and the Vrn-D1 locus was located in this interval. A region on chromosome 5B at around 531.5 Mb was significantly associated with plant height difference. Two QTLs including AX-94840438 (7BL) and AX-94563647 (7DS) were responsible for neck length or uppermost internode length difference.  相似文献

为了进一步挖掘矮秆超大穗小麦亲本在遗传育种中的应用潜力,为小麦高产、超高产育种选择优良亲本和最优杂交组合提供理论依据,选用5个矮秆超大穗小麦品种(系)作为父本,8个多抗丰产小麦品种(系)作为母本,按NCII遗传交配设计,采用8×5不完全双列杂交法,配制了40个杂交组合,对小麦亲本及杂种F1的株高、主穗长、单株穗数、结实小穗数、主穗粒数、主穗产量、单株产量、千粒重8个性状进行了考察,并在基因型方差分析显著的基础上进行了配合力评价及遗传力分析。结果表明:父本中A1、A3、A4是综合性状优良的亲本,其多数性状的一般配合力均较高,特别是穗长、主穗粒数、结实小穗数、主穗产量、单株产量的一般配合力高,而株高的一般配合力效应值较低,是很理想的矮秆超大穗多粒亲本材料。母本中B5、B6单株穗数一般配合力较高,株高的一般配合力效应值较低,可作小麦高产杂交育种的矮秆多穗型亲本使用。结合特殊配合力效应分析:组合B5×A3单株穗数、主穗产量、单株产量、千粒重特殊配合力效应最高,株高特殊配合力效应较低,可作为的矮秆、多穗、粒重高且高产的重点杂交组合。B2×A4主穗长、单株产量、单株穗数特殊配合力效应都较高,而株高特殊配合力效应低,可作为矮秆大穗高产的重点杂交组合。遗传力分析表明:单株产量、千粒重、主穗长、主穗产量皆在70%以上,表明这4个性状的广义遗传力较大,受环境影响较小,而狭义遗传力的分析除主穗长、主穗粒数、主穗产量、株高大于50%,其余4个性状均低于50%,说明受环境影响大,不宜早期选择,应该适当推迟选择的代数。  相似文献

以人工合成小麦Am3为供体亲本,普通小麦莱州953为轮回亲本,经5次回交然后自交,培育出含85个株系的F2:3群体。以该群体为材料,用348对多态性SSR标记,进行全基因组扫描,发掘人工合成小麦中千粒重QTL的有利等位基因。利用复合区间作图法检测到3个千粒重QTL,其对表型变异的贡献率为10.9%~33.79%。其中,Am3的等位基因能够增加千粒重2.3~4.8 g。相关分析表明,该导入系群体的千粒重与穗粒数、穗数和株高无显著相关性。千粒重QTL与穗粒数、穗数性状的QTL不在同一位置,这有利于高千粒重基因与其他产量性状基因的聚合。采用混合线性模型作图法检测到1个千粒重QTL(QGw.caas-3D),该QTL与环境互作效应小,而且与复合区间作图法在3个环境中都检测到的QTL相同,表明QGw.caas-3D是一个稳定的主效QTL。  相似文献

小麦收获指数是指籽粒产量占地上部生物产量的百分率。研究小麦品种主要农艺性状和经济性状间与其产量的相互关系,采用相关性分析与回归方法,对影响收获指数的10个主要农艺性状及因素进行了研究分析。结果表明:供试小麦HI具有较大的改良空间;HI与穗颈长、株高、穗长、小穗数、主茎生物产量有显著负相关,与单穗质量、产量呈正相关,与生物产量没有显著相关性;主成分分析结果显示,3个主成分累积贡献率达 87.427%,表明 3 个主成分已覆盖所有性状的主要信息;通过回归分析,小麦HI与单穗籽粒产量、生物产量、千粒质量有显著回归关系。结论: 通过对10份小麦材料农艺性状的统计分析,得出如下结论。HI受单穗质量、生物产量、千粒重影响较为明显有显著回归关系,与单穗质量、产量和穗粒数有明显正效应,生物产量对其有负效应。小麦HI提高可通过选育生物产量不宜过大,而穗粒数较高、单穗重较大的小麦品种。  相似文献

QTL mapping of yield-related traits in the wheat germplasm 3228   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
The new wheat germplasm 3228, a putative derivative of tetraploid Agropyron cristatum Z559 and the common wheat Fukuhokomugi, has superior features in yield-related traits, particularly in spike morphological traits, such as large spike and superior grain number. To identify favorable alleles of these traits in 3228, 237 F2:3 families were developed from the cross 3228/Jing 4839. A genetic map was constructed using 179 polymorphic SSR and EST-SSR markers. A total of 76 QTL controlling spike number per plant (SNP), spike length (SL), spikelet number per spike (SNS), floret number per spikelet (FNS), grain number per spike (GNS) and thousand-grain weight (TGW) were detected on 16 chromosomes. Each QTL explained 1.24–27.01% of the phenotypic variation, and 9 QTL (28.95%) were detected in two or all environments. Additive effects of 45 QTL were positive with 3228 alleles increasing the QTL effects, 31 QTL had negative effects indicating positive contributions from Jing 4839. Three important clusters involving all traits were located on chromosomes 5A, 6A and 4B, and several co-located QTL were also found. Most of the QTL detected on the three chromosome regions could contribute to the use of 3228 in breeding for grain yield improvement.  相似文献

为了研究节水条件下春小麦产量与其它农艺性状之间的关系,选用15个春小麦品种(系)在节水灌溉下对其的主要农艺性状进行相关及通径分析,建立了回归方程。结果表明:农艺性状对产量的相关程度依次为:株高(0.48685),千粒重(0.45182),穗长(-0.31464),穗粒数(0.02924),单位面积穗数(0.01526)。对产量的直接影响重要性依次为:千粒重(0.71426),穗长(-0.56871),株高(0.46505),单位面积穗数(-0.17531),穗粒数(0.04272)。试验表明:河西绿洲灌区节水型(高WUE型)春小麦品种的选育应在适当单位面积穗数的前提下,朝高秆抗倒、大粒方向发展。  相似文献

矮秆突变体是小麦育种和株高遗传研究的重要基因资源。通过‘云麦53’成熟种子的EMS (Ethyl methyl sulfonate)诱变及诱变植株连续自交,获得了33个M3代候选突变体。通过诱变亲本与M2和M3代候选植株的株高差异分析,筛选到26个矮秆突变体,其株高变幅为(13.61±0.11)~(44.08±1.73) cm。基于8个矮秆基因的12个特异性标记检测发现, 26个矮秆突变体至少携带2个矮秆基因标记位点。除株高外, 26个矮秆突变体还携带穗长、小穗密度、节间数和平均节间长4个不同突变性状。26个矮秆突变体可聚为5个亚类,第1亚类的小穗数和小花数最少;第2亚类的株高最矮,穗长和平均节间长最短,小穗密度最高;第3亚类突变体的节间数最少。株高与平均节间长和节间数呈极显著相关,偏相关系数分别为0.94、0.58,但与穗长、小穗数、小花数和小穗密度4个性状无相关性。26个矮秆突变体的株高与平均节间长和节间数关联遗传,携带不同的突变基因组合,可用于小麦矮化育种,以及株高、穗长和小穗密度等性状的遗传机制研究。  相似文献

The breeding materials used in this study were the F3, F4 and F5-generations of the cross between Giza 158 × Sonora 64 (Triticum aestivum L.). The objective of this study was to compare the relative merits of Smith-Hazel, desired gain selection indices, independent culling levels and single trait selection in improving grain yield, heading date and several agronomic traits. Highly significant differences among F3 families and a satisfactory genotypic coefficient of variability were obtained for all the traits studied. The genotypic correlations were high between yield and each of spike weight, kernels/spike and spikes; plant, intermediate with 1000 kernel weight and very low with heading date, plant height and spike1 length-After two cycles of selection, the results of the gains realized indicated that the most effective method for improving yield was the Smith-Hazel index (SH7) of seven traits followed by the desired gain index of seven traits (DG7), SH5, independent culling levels, DG5 and direct selection (or grain yield/plant. Direct selection for heading date, plant height and spike length was the best method for improving these traits, but undesirable correlated responses in the other traits were obtained.  相似文献

以焉耆盆地的白刺纯林、白刺 红柳混合区和白刺 胡杨混合区的灌丛沙堆为研究区域,分析不同生境白刺灌丛沙堆的长、宽、高、面积、体积、株高等方面的形态特征和形态参数间的相关性。结果表明:(1)不同生境白刺灌丛沙堆形态参数分别为长度1.2~10.7 m、宽度1.2~6.3 m、高度0.5~2.4 m、面积1.2~50.1 m2、体积0.7~80.3 m3、株高0.6~1.6 m;(2)白刺沙堆各形态参数间具有极强的相关性,其中不同生境3个样地上的白刺沙堆长度与宽度间、沙堆面积与高度、沙堆体积与面积间都表现为极显著相关。以不同生境白刺灌丛沙堆形态参数间的相关性分析结果为基础,分别对不同生境白刺灌丛沙堆长度与宽度、高度与面积、面积与体积间进行回归方程拟合,结果显示:除了白刺 胡杨混合区沙堆高度与面积的拟合方程R2为0.3853较低以外,其余白刺沙堆各形态参数间的拟合方程R2均在0.7538~0.9895之间,说明沙堆的各形态参数间的关系非常密切。研究结果对提出防风固沙的生物措施具有非常重要的科学意义。  相似文献

Summary True genetic dwarfs hither-to not reported have been located in foxtail millet. The dwarfs as a group distinguished themselves from the talls in having altered constellation of characters. The morphological differences were highly significant for plant height, internodal length, and tillering potential. The talls had elongated internodes compared to dwarfs while there was no difference for node number on the main stem suggesting that short internodal length was primarily responsible for dwarfism. The dwarfs also showed slightly higher leaf number per plant, leaf area and harvest index compared to talls. The dwarfs were insensitive to exogenous GA3 application indicating that GA3 synthesis is not impaired. This suggests that dwarfing gene sources presently identified are true genetic dwarfs and their behaviour is similar to dwarfs derived from Norin 10 in wheat and Dee-geo-woo-gen in rice. The superior morphological frame makes these dwarfs ideal as far as plant type is concerned and offers immense potentialities in breeding high yielding foxtail millets.  相似文献

Number of tillers per plant, plant growth habit in seedling and adult stages, and spike and spikelet characters are agronomically important features of the gross morphology of wheat. To localize to wheat chromosomes the genes for these traits, we scored them in a set of wheat recombinant-inbred mapping lines already well genotyped with molecular markers. Quantitative-trait analysis revealed a region near Gli-A2 (Xpsr10) on the short arm of chromosome 6A strongly affecting tiller number and the correlated trait of seedling growth habit. Genes with opposing effects on adult plant type were localized on the short arms of chromosomes2A and 3A, while genes affecting spike development were assigned to several A- and B-genome chromosomes. None of these genes showed synteny with counterpart QTLs reported to affect the same traits in rice. In the chromosome 2D region containing the photoperiod-insensitivity gene Ppd-D1, the major determinant of heading date in these autumn-sown lines, earliness alleles reduced tiller and spikelet numbers and increased erect seedling growth habit, but showed no influence on adult plant type or spike length. Though several of these morphological traits are generally considered to be associated with winter hardiness and their phenotypic intercorrelations were consistent with the genetic mapping evidence, no association was found between newly identified loci and known vernalization-response or frost-resistance loci. 试验于2018-2019年在中国农业科学院作物科学研究所温室内进行,采用两因素随机区组设计,以土壤类型和追施硼肥为调控因素,研究不同土壤条件下硼肥对小麦产量和品质的影响。供试土壤分别为黑土、潮土及红土,供试小麦品种为来自埃及的春小麦品种Egypt New。结果表明:黑土条件下小麦的株高、穗长、穗粒数、千粒重和子粒产量均极显著高于潮土和红土条件下的小麦;黑土条件下小麦的蛋白质及其组分产量最高,潮土次之,红土最低,差异显著;拔节期追施硼肥显著提高了子粒产量。不同处理组合条件下,以黑土和拔节期追施硼肥处理的小麦株高、穗长、穗粒数、千粒重和蛋白产量最高。  相似文献
