A RESEARCH ON THE ARCHITECTURE DESIGN AND BUILDINGS'' AIRCONDITIONING ENERGY SAVING

Taking part in the formulation of "the Standard for Chinese Hotel Air-Conditioning Energy Consumption," the authors study the thermal characteristics and carry out dynamic simulation of annual air-conditioning(heating) energy consumption of six well-known hotels located in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhon. This paper particularly analyses how the architectural design and the thermal characteristics (including building orientation, building plane, wal lstructure, window area and structure) effect air-conditioning load and air-conditioning energy consumption. Some views and suggestions on methods of architectural design are put forward, which aim to reduce energy costs, capital costs, and space requirement.     

DYNAMIC ANALYSIS OF WET-BOTTOM BOILER WITH OPEN FURNACE

The dynamic caclucation and analysis for a wet-bottom boiler with open furnace is presented in accordance with its structual and thermal parameters.     

THE QUASI-FULL LOAD METHOD FOR OPTIMUM STRUCTURAL DESIGN

This paper presents the quasi-full load method, which has many advantages. Its thinking is simple and direct. Its program is easily carried out, its convergence rate is fast and the optimal result is safe, reliable, economical and practical. This paper gives the mathematical model of the space trusses optimum design in practical project, and points out the shortcomings of optimum method often applied by engineers. The method and the peculiarity of quasi-full load structural design are gone into details.     

THE ELESTOPLASTIC DYNAMIC ANALYSIS OF RC PLANAR FRAMES AND ITS PROGRAM

This paper makes use of a beam-colunm model in the elastopl-astic dynamic analysis of RC planar rames.For which an improved method is presented to estabish the envelopes of moment-curvature relationships by appli-cation of RC nonlinear analysis,and a program named PFEPDA suitable to mic-rocomputer is developed.

This paper introduces the metod of optimal design of municipal water distribution,The main points are the theory,mathematical model,program frame figure and example in practice of the optimal method of hydraulics.The program is applicable to the design and calculation of the pipe network in a city. It gives a simple and convenient calculation method for multiple-scheme design and scheme cmparison of water supply system.

THE WAYS FOR IMPROVING INDOOR ENVIRONMENT AND AIR-CONDITIONING SYSTEMS IN DANCLING HALLS

Since 1988, air temperature, humidity, air quality, noise level and intensity of illumination in lots of dancing halls in China have been investigated and tested. This paper introduces the present situation of indoor environment and air conditioning systems in dancing halls of China. The design indexes of cooling load for room and ontside air are recommended. The reasons for indoor environment deterioration have been found out. From the actual situation of China, the ways for imoroving indoor environment and approach of energy conservation in air conditioning systems are explored.     

AGGREGATION METHOD AND ITS APPLICATION IN SYSTEM DESIGN

A new aggregation method for order reduction of linear continuous or discrete systems is proposed in this paper. This method is easy for system design and it makes the structure of the controller and the state observer simple. It also reduces the computation of the system design.     

AN A. C. LOAD FLOW ANALYSIS OF THE RELIABILITY EVALVATION OF COMPOSITE GENERATION AND TRANSMISSION SYSTEMS

An A. C. load flow analysis of the reliability evaluation of composite generation and transmission systems is presented on the basis of a fast outage simulation algorithm and an optimal model of active and reactive power adjustment after outage contingencies. The information of the first -level outage events is utilized for simulating higher -level outage events in the fast outage simulation algorithm ; the optimal model is satisfactory in speed and accuracy with the application of concentric relaxation and linear increment constraint on the comprehensive adjustment of active and reactive power. As an example. the IEEE Reliability Test System is tested and the results show that the method is accurate and well-matched in speed with the method studied by R. Bllinton, et al.     

DYNAMIC ANALYSIS AND NUMERICAL METHOD IN PHE DRIVE MECHANISMS OF THE STEEL-TUBE COLD-ROLLING MACHINE

In this paper, the calculating formulas for partial dynamic balance of crankslider mechanisms are derived in terms of the limear independent vector theory. The driving torque and the optimum selections for partial dynamic balance in drive mechanism of the steeltube cold-rolling machine are carried out. The method in this paper has a universal reference meaning for the partial dynamic balances of crankslider mechanisms.     

DYNAMIC ANALYSIS AND NUMERICAL METHOD FOR THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM IN A TUBE AND FORM-BAR PRESS MACHINE

In this paper, dynamic analyses are made for (he pump and energy-store hydrauic system in a 3150 ton tube and form-bur press machine. The formulas for calculation are derived, and the so are the relationship between the press and the displacement, and the velocity and the acceleration. Numerical calculations are also made. The calculated results coincide with the measured data. The method in this paper has a universal reference meaning for all types of press machines with the type pump and energy-store hydraulic system.     

COMPUTER-AIDED ANALYSIS AND DESIGN FOR THE BASE STRUCTURE OF A MOVABLE TOWER CRANE

This paper is one of the achievements of the researchitem for computer-aided design of tower crane's steel structure.In thepaper,taking the well-base structure as an example,first the method establishing the mechanical model is explained for the base structure ofa movable tower crane.Then the math model of its optimal design andthe N-S figures for the computer program is described and calculatedusing discrete optimal technology.Finally the problems related to thedesign for the base structure of a movable tower crane are briefly illu-strated.     

ECONOMIC LOAD RATE OF DISTRIBUTING TRANSFORMERS

On the basis of the analysis of load operational characteristics, this paper discusses the features of five methods for determining the economic load rate of transformers, and finally suggests a method to choose the economic load rate of the distribuing transformers.     

PRACTICAL DESIGN OF PROBABILISTIC LIMIT STATES FOR STEEL STRUCTURES OF TALL BUILDING

For design purposes, this paper presents performance coefficients for steel structures of tall building, and furthermore design values of strength of heavy plates. The calculated results show that suggested coefficients meet the requirements of probabilistic limit states design method. They can serve as a supplement to GBJ17-88 and the expression of limit states design provided in this paper is available for reference in compilation of concerned standard.     

THE PRINCIPLE AND APPLICATION ON ZS DYNAMIC BALANCE METHOD OF MACHINE RIGID ROTATOR

In this paper, based on the actual need of production, a new technic method-ZS method on duple fact dynamic balance of machine rigid rotators is presented for small-scale production. The unbalanced weight and direction are obtained by adding duple test weight and measuring the bearing amplitude to the rotator system. The primary principle is developed in detail and the rightness of the new method is proved out by the simulant test and the applied real example. The outstanding advantage of the new method is that the investment cost is low and the adaptability is strong. There is a spacial application value for the great dajority of the mid and small enterprises that produce rotators in small-scale but usually the rotator standards need to be changed.     

THE DECENTRALIZED LOAD FREGUENCY CONTROL FOR MULTI-AREA POWER SYSTEMS

A decoupled load-frequency control model of a multi-area interconnecting power system is presented and a practical and effective decentralized control method is developed, which needs only its own state information and the information measured in it. It can also improve the stability and dynamic characters of the system. The dynamic simulation of the numerical example of a three-area interconnecting system with this controller showes the dynamic characters are almost the same as the centralized full state feedback optimal control.     

THE DYNAMIC MODEL AND OPTIMIZATION OF A NEW DYNAMIC VIBRATION ABSORBER

A method of forming the broadband dynamic absorber by paralleling two absorbers is proposed in view of the characteristics of the narrow suppression range of the traditional absorber. The formation of its dynamic model and optimization are studied as well.     

A SYSTEMATIC EVALUATION METHOD BUILDING DESIGN PLAN

This paper discusses the evaluation method of building design plan with the view of systematization and presents factors concerning building design plan. According to characteristics of multifactor, multipurpose, multifunction and multi-administrative levels in building design system, this comprehensive evaluation method provides a scientific basis for policymakers.
