The effect of restricted feeding on growth, feed efficiency, and body composition was studied in juveniles of gilthead sea bream, Sparus aurata. Juveniles (6.4 g) were stocked into 12 tanks at a density of 16 fish per tank. Four different feeding schedules were tested on triplicate groups of juvenile fish: (1) control fed for 48 d without deprivation, (2) starvation for 1 d and then refed for 2 d (S1), (3) 50% satiation for 2 d and then refed to apparent satiation for 2 d (R2), and (4) 50% satiation for 6 d and then refed to apparent satiation for another 6 d (R6). Results indicated that all fish subjected to cycled restricted feeding regimes were unable to achieve catching up with control group. The specific growth rate of fish in the control was significantly higher than those in S1, R2, and R6, which were not significantly different from each other. Protein efficiency and protein productive value were significantly higher in R2 compared to control, S1, and R6. Fish in R2 had lowest feed conversion ratio (1.12) compared to the control (1.17). Body protein composition in R6 was less than that of the control, S1, and R2, while moisture, lipid, and ash content were not significantly different compared to the control.  相似文献

–Growth, feed efficiency and survival of gilthead sea bream Sparus aurata larvae fed exclusively various levels of enriched Artemia during the period 25 DPH-34 DPH were investigated. Larvae had an average initial fresh body weight (BW) of 4.99 mg and were fed on Artemia at rates of 20, 35, 50, 65, and 80% of their body weight per day, in two equal meals. Each ration was administered to duplicate groups of 1,000 larvae, with ration readjusted every second day. Feeding rate had a significant effect on larval survival, which was lower in larvae fed the 20 and 35% BS/d rations. The specific growth rate (SGR) showed a curvilinear significant increase when the feeding rate was increased from 20 to 65% BW/d, but there was no improvement when the feeding rate was increased from 65 to 80% BW/d. Percent feed efficiency (FE) decreased significantly from a maximum value at 20% ration to 80% BW/d but at 65% and 80% rations the values of FE were not significantly different. Optimum ration (minimum quantity of Artemia concomitant with maximum larval growth) was estimated close to 65% BW/d. The significance of the results is discussed in relation to potential economics of Artemia cysts use in commercial hatcheries.  相似文献

Triplicate groups of gilthead sea bream, Sparus aurata (10.4 g), were distributed among 27 tanks (12 fish per tank) and reared in flow‐through seawater. A factorial experiment (3 × 3) was designed to include a continuously fed control group and two cycled starvation groups: 1 + 3 (starved 1 d, fed 3 d), 1 + 5 (starved 1 d, fed 5 d). Each of the feeding groups was subjected to one of three feeding frequencies (2, 4, and 6 times per day) over the 60‐d experiment duration. The average final weight of fish in 1 + 3 and 1 + 5 groups were significantly lower than that of the control group. Partial compensation was observed in the starved groups subjected to any of the three feeding frequencies. Regardless of the feeding frequency, control fish consumed less feed than the starved groups. The highest body protein content was found in the control group. The rate of oxygen consumption significantly increased 30 min after the feeding and the magnitude of the effect increased with the feeding frequency. These results suggest that the present cycling starvation schedules did not invoke a full compensation in gilthead sea bream.  相似文献

In this study, we investigated the effect of repeated handling on the oxidative state of gilthead sea bream, Sparus aurata. We determined the activity of the antioxidant enzymes superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), glutathione reductase (GR), glutathione peroxidase (GPX), glutathione transferase (GST), and DT‐diaphorase (DTD) in liver, digestive tract, brain, gills, and white muscle. We also measured the lipid‐peroxidation level (malondialdehyde – MDA – concentration) and the glucose 6‐phosphate dehydrogenase activity (G6PDH). The results show that repeated low‐intensity handling on gilthead sea bream alter the oxidative status of tissues such as liver, digestive tract, and muscle in the last term can affect its welfare. The brain in a situation of handling stress is protected from oxidative damage by the activity of antioxidant enzymes. Finally, the concentration of MDA in tissues can be a good candidate as a biomarker of stress and welfare in fish.  相似文献

The effect of fish meal (FM) substitution with fermented soybean meal (FSBM) in the diets of the carnivorous marine fish, black sea bream, Acanthopagrus schlegelii, was investigated. An 8‐wk feeding trial was conducted with black sea bream (11.82 ± 0.32 g; mean initial weight) in indoor flow‐through fiberglass tanks (25 fish per tank). Six isonitrogenous and isoenergetic diets were formulated, in which FM was replaced by FSBM at 0% (control diet), 10% (FSBM10), 20% (FSBM20), 30% (FSBM30), 40% (FSBM40), or 50% (FSBM50), respectively. Each diet was fed to triplicate groups of fish twice daily to apparent satiation. The results showed that there was no difference in survival of black sea bream during the feeding trial. Fish fed the FSBM10 or FSBM20 diet showed comparable growth performance compared with fish fed the control diet (P > 0.05), whereas more than 30% replacement of FM adversely affected weight gain and specific growth rate (P < 0.05). Feed intake was significantly lower for fish fed the FSBM50 diet compared with fish fed the control diet. Feed conversion ratio (FCR) tended to increase with increasing dietary FSBM with the poorest FCR observed for fish fed the FSBM50 diet. Protein efficiency ratio and protein productive values showed similar patterns. Apparent digestibility of nutrients significantly decreased with increasing dietary FSBM level. With the exception of protein content, no significant differences in whole body and dorsal muscle composition were observed in fish fed the various diets. Fish fed the FSBM50 diet had significantly lower intraperitoneal ratio than fish fed the control or FSBM10 diet. Hepatosomatic index and condition factor were unaffected by dietary treatments. This study showed that up to 20% of dietary FM protein could be replaced by FSBM protein in the diets of juvenile black sea bream.  相似文献

Two experiments (Experiment I and 11) were conducted to evaluate the effects of dietary soybean meal (SBM) with or without supplementation of methionine on the growth performance of the southern catfish Silurus meridionalis. Fish were fed isonitrogenous (48% crude protein) and isoenergetic (20 KJ/g gross energy) diets for 8 wk in a recirculating rearing system. In Experiment I, six diets containing 0.0,11.6, 23.1, 34.7, 46.3, and 57.9% solvent‐extracted SBM as replacement of 0% (control), 13%, 26%, 39%, 52% and 65% fish meal (FM) protein were formulated to examine the effects of dietary SBM on growth performance. Each of the six diets was randomly fed to triplicate tanks, and each tank was stocked with 10 fish (average initial weight 23.78 ± 0.09 g). Fish fed the diets with 13%, 26%, and 39% protein from SBM had significantly higher or similar specific growth rate (SGR) compared with the control group. However, SGR in fish fed the diets with 52% and 65% protein from SBM was significantly lower than other groups (P < 0.05). These results showed that 39% of FM protein could be replaced by SBM protein in diets of the southern catfish without significantly reducing growth. In Experiment II, seven diets were formulated to examine the effects of supplemental methionine on the growth performance of this fish (initial weight of 19.73 ± 0.36 g) fed diets at the two SBM substitution level (SL) for replacing 39% or 52% FM protein. The control diet was the same as that (0% SL) in Experiment I. Three methionine levels (0.00%, 0.12%, or 0.26% at 39% SL, 0.00%, 0.21%, or 0.33% at 52% SL) were separately supplemented to represent two endogenous controls (no methionine supplementation), and to produce diets with the same methionine content as that found in either the body carcass of this fish or the control diet (0% SBM protein), respectively. The results showed that there were no significant differences in feeding rate, digestibility and SGR between fish fed the diets with and without supplementation of methionine at 39% SL. However, supplementation of methionine at 52% SL results in significantly higher SGR and feed efficiency (FE) than that of fish fed the diet without supplementation (P < 0.05). It is suggested that the endogenous methionine content in the diet at 39% SL could meet the requirement for the growth, but is insufficient at 52% SL. The results of the present study indicate that methionine is one of the limiting factors in SBM‐based diets to growth of the southern catfish, and supplementation of methionine into diets containing a high content of SBM could improve the growth performance of this fish.  相似文献

Abstract.— The accumulation of ultraviolet (UV)‐screen substances, mycosporine‐like amino acids (MAAs), in the tetrasporophytic phase of the red alga Asparagopsis armata grown in fishpond effluents of gilthead sea bream, Sparus aurata, is analyzed. Both the effects of total ammonium nitrogen (TAN) fluxes and the algal densities on MAA accumulation were investigated. MAAs increased with the TAN flux, but only until values lower than 100 μM/h. Above this flux, the MAA content decreased, whereas algal yield increased. The content of individual MAAs was related to nitrogen (N) status, that is, shinorine percentage slightly decreased and palythine increased with increasing N fluxes. The decrease of MAAs at high flux of N (up to 100 μM/h) is related to the decrease of water residence time and the decrease of the biofiltration efficiency. Under different TAN fluxes and algal densities, MAA content was negatively related to algal yield indicating that MAAs were accumulated only under a high ammonium‐N availability. Thus, an energy allocation between growth (primary metabolism) and MAA accumulation (secondary metabolism) is regulated by the absorption capacity of inorganic N. In conclusion, A. armata, in addition to its high biofiltration capacity of nutrients, is a good source of MAAs as potential UV screen photoprotectors.  相似文献

This study was conducted to determine the effects of Muscari comosum (L.) Mill. 1768, geophyte plant extract on some nonspecific immune parameters of gilthead seabream, Sparus aurata (L. 1758). For this purpose, the plant was collected and extracted in ethanol solvent. Three different fish groups were formed, and each group was duplicated (total 300 fish). The plant extract was applied to the fish by intraperitoneal injection in two different concentrations (0.5 mg/fish and 2 mg/fish). Following injections on the 1st, 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th d, blood samples were collected from each group. Some of the nonspecific immune parameters in blood and serum samples such as leukocyte level, phagocytic activity (NBT (+) cells), lysozyme activity, and the percentage of white blood cells were determined. The results indicate that in line with the parameters observed, the group given 0.5 mg/fish was not as effective as the one given 2 mg/fish but more effective than the control group. The nonspecific immune parameters of blood samples of the gilthead seabream in the 2 mg/fish experimental group showed that maximum levels on measured parameters of blood were reached at the first week postinjection. The applied concentrations of plant extract did not inhibit growth performance in any of the groups.  相似文献

Soluble gas stabilization (SGS) is a relatively recent methodology of active packaging that has been proposed to extend the shelf life of packaged fish. The aim of the present work was to study the effect of SGS applied at different extents (2 bars: 30 and 60 min) on the shelf life of sea bream and sea bass fillets packed in air during chilled storage. Quality changes were evaluated by sensory assessment, microbiological analysis (TVC), TBARs, pH value, TVB-N, and TMA-N. No significant extension of sensory shelf life was visible as a function of SGS treatment. The treatment of fillets in CO2 at 2 bars during 60 min had a positive effect on the microbiological shelf life of both species. On the other hand, TMA-N and TVB-N showed similar changes during storage period and were not affected by the CO2 treatment. Sea bream treated with SGS always presented higher TBARs than control samples. Nevertheless, oxidation of sea bream and in particular, of sea bass fillets, did not appear to be a significant problem during chilled storage.  相似文献

豆饼以0、15%、35%、55%比例替换饵料中的鱼粉,添加55%豆饼组同时另加0.5%的蛋氨酸(Met),配制成5种近似等能等氮试验饵料。饲养平均体重约40g的西伯利亚幼鲟50d。试验结果表明,15%的豆饼添加水平不影响幼鲟生长,其它添加组幼鲟增重率明显低于对照组,饲料系数明显高于对照组。补充蛋氨酸对提高豆饼饵料营养价值有一定的作用。  相似文献

To improve the unnatural fade-pigmented skin of cultivated gilthead seabream, Sparus aurata, (if shown) the present study was initiated. The effects of either red bell-pepper (Capsicum annum) meal or carrot (Daucus carota) meal as a natural dietary carotenoid source, on growth and skin coloration of gilthead seabream growers were investigated. A basal/control diet (D1/CTR) was firstly formulated to contain 48% crude protein and 14% lipids, with no added-carotenoids. With this basal diet, two other test diets were similarly prepared and supplemented each with about 40mg/Kg total carotenoids from either red-pepper meal (D2) or carrot meal (D3). In a feeding trial, fish (mean IW, 94.86±0.3g) were fed one of the three diets (D1, D2, D3), in triplicates for each treatment, for 6 weeks in light-blue background PVC tanks supplied with natural seawater flow. Total carotenoids content of skin was determined spectrophotometerically at initiation and end of the experiment. Neither growth nor feed utilization were significantly (P<0.05) affected by the red pepper-added diet (D2) as compared to CTR diet. However, the carrot fed fish recorded the lowest and significant (P<0.05) weight gain (g/fish) and specific growth rate (SGR, %/d) among dietary treatments. There were no considerable (P>0.05) differences in major nutrients composition between fish fed the experimental diets. Total carotenoids content was significantly (P<0.05) increased, in the skin-opercle area, of fish fed the red pepper diet (D2) as compared to initial fish and to either carrot fed fish or CTR fish. Results have suggested that gilthead seabream can effectively bio-absorb natural carotenoid pigments (mainly capsansin and capsorbin) in red-pepper but not in carrot (mainly β-and α-carotene).  相似文献

本研究通过在低鱼粉型膨化饲料中添加不同比例的混合型小麦蛋白(GWT,由小麦蛋白、低筋面粉和牛磺酸分别以77.5%、20.5%和2.0%的比例混合而成),逐步替代饲料中低温干燥鱼粉(LT-FM)或大豆浓缩蛋白(SPC),饲喂日本黄姑鱼(Nibea japonica)[初始体重为(12.83±0.91)g]和黑鲷(Sparus macrocephalus)幼鱼[初始体重为(15.40±0.02)g]59 d,研究其对2种鱼类血清生化指标和肝脏抗氧化指标的影响.本研究配制8种等氮、等能饲料(粗蛋白:44.1%-45.6%、总能:21.5-22.0 MJ/kg),其中,对照组饲料以LT-FM(20.0%)和SPC(21.4%)为主蛋白源,6种实验饲料以GWT分别替代对照组饲料中33.3%、66.7%和100%的LT-FM或SPC蛋白,另配制1种实验饲料(联合替代组),用GWT替代对照组饲料中50%的LT-FM和SPC蛋白.结果显示,用GWT替代对照组饲料中的LT-FM对日本黄姑鱼血清总蛋白(TP)、甘油三酯(TG)和肝脏丙二醛(MDA)含量以及肝脏超氧化物歧化酶(SOD)活性均无显著影响(P>0.05),但显著降低了血清总胆固醇(TC)、葡萄糖(GLU)含量(P<0.05).相较对照组,GWT高比例(66.7%和100%)替代LT-FM引起日本黄姑鱼血清SOD活性的显著升高(P<0.05).GWT替代对照组饲料中LT-FM或(和)SpC均未对黑鲷幼鱼血清中的TP、TG、TC、GLU含量、肝脏MDA含量和血清SOD活性产生显著影响(P>0.05),而GWT完全替代LT-FM组、GWT替代33.3%和66.7%SPC组以及GWT联合替代组的黑鲷幼鱼肝脏SOD活性均显著上升(P<0.05).总之,在本研究中,日本黄姑鱼相较黑鲷对低鱼粉饲料中鱼粉用量的进一步下降更为敏感,GWT高比例甚至完全替代LT-FM和SPC,未对黑鲷血清生化指标和肝脏抗氧化指标造成显著影响.本研究首次以小麦蛋白作为饲用蛋白源替代LT-FM和SPC在日本黄姑鱼和黑鲷中开展研究;实验采用低鱼粉型(20%)膨化实用饲料作为对照组.  相似文献

Sparus aurata were cultured during an 8-month period in brackish water (salinity about 25 ppt) in an extensive culture system comprising eight earthen ponds, each with a water surface of 2.1 ha. Initial mean wet weight of fish in all ponds varied from 13.6 ± 1.9 to 19.2 ± 2.6 g/fish. The eight ponds were randomly allocated one of four experimental treatments (two ponds/treatment). In the first treatment, ponds were fertilized monthly with 100 kg urea and 50 kg triple super phosphate. The other treatments (2–4) were fed a locally produced tilapia pellet feed containing 25% crude protein made using different processes. Fish in the second treatment were fed tilapia feed pelleted by compressing machine, whereas in treatments 3 and 4 the pellets were produced by extruder machine (Wenger). Pellets in treatment 3 were floating and in the fourth were semi-sinking. Fish were fed pellets twice daily at 6% of their biomass. The mean final body weight for each treatment respectively was 104.6, 118.9, 156.8 and 158 g. Specific growth rate (SGR) of 0.8, 0.79, 0.99 and 0.95%/day, were obtained in ponds using only inorganic fertilizer, compressed sinking pellets, extruded floating pellets and extruded semi-sinking pellets, respectively. Feed conversion ratios (FCR) for treatments with the extruded tilapia pellets were 2.2 and 2.6 g feed/g gain, which were significantly (P < 0.05) better than treatments with compressed pellets (3.2 g feed/g gain). Production/ha/year were 1389, 1358, 945 and 682 kg fish for the groups fed with extruded floating, extruded semi-sinking, compressed and natural food, respectively. Under the present experimental circumstances, Sparus aurata fed extruded floating tilapia pellets (25% crude protein and 2,600 kcal/g), showed the best productive performance.  相似文献

在水温25.6~27.0℃、盐度31、光照2000lx条件下饲育仿刺参苗种,研究了鱼粉、大豆蛋白与梭子蟹粉3种蛋白源对仿刺参幼参生长的影响。在饲料中分别按海藻质量的1‰、2‰、3‰分别添加鱼粉、大豆蛋白与梭子蟹粉。在27个容积为56L的玻璃钢水槽中分别放入一片30cm×40cm的波纹板和200头(0.1g/头)幼参,适量充气进行培育。试验结果表明,鱼粉试验组中以1‰的添加量效果最好,20d内质量增加175.0%,平均每头幼参质量日增加(3.75±0.9)mg;大豆蛋白试验组中以1‰的添加量效果最好,20d内质量增加165.0%,平均每头幼参质量日增加(3.25±0.3)mg;梭子蟹粉试验组中以3‰的添加量效果最好,20d内质量增加203.5%,平均每头幼参日质量增加(5.17±0.7)mg。3种蛋白源的1‰添加量中,效果依次为:鱼粉>蟹粉>大豆蛋白>空白组,空白组与添加蛋白源组之间差异极显著(P<0.01);2‰添加量中,效果依次为:蟹粉>鱼粉>大豆蛋白>空白组,蟹粉与鱼粉和大豆蛋白之间差异显著(P<0.05),空白组与添加蛋白源组之间差异极显著(P<0.01);3‰添加量中,效果依次为:蟹粉>鱼粉>大豆蛋白>空白组,蟹粉与鱼粉和大豆蛋白之间差异极显著(P<0.01),空白组与添加蟹粉试验组之间差异极显著(P<0.01)。试验结果证明,用梭子蟹粉作蛋白源效果显著好于鱼粉和大豆蛋白。  相似文献

Sea bream, Sparus aurata, is one of the most important fish species that is commonly cultured in the Mediterranean and the eastern coasts of the Atlantic Ocean. The life cycle of sea bream in its natural habitat passes through hyposaline and hypersaline lagoons. It is important to determine the tolerance of the fish to nitrogenous compounds for aquaculture at maximum stocking densities. In the present study, a series of acute experiments were performed to evaluate the effect of salinity on ammonia and nitrite toxicity to sea bream. The fish were exposed to different ammonia and nitrite concentrations according to the static renewal methodology at three different salinities (10, 20, and 30 ppt) and at a temperature of 20 C and a pH of 8.2. The toxic effect of total ammonia nitrogen (TAN) and nitrite nitrogen (NO2‐N) decreased with increasing salinity levels (P < 0.001). Acute toxicity (96‐h lethal concentration 50 [LC50]) values of TAN were determined to be 5.93, 11.72, and 19.38 mg/L at 10, 20, and 30 ppt salinity, respectively. The 96‐h LC50 values of NO2‐N were determined to be 370.80, 619.47, and 806.33 mg/L at 10, 20, and 30 ppt salinity, respectively. Results indicate that sea bream is less tolerant to ammonia but more tolerant to nitrite compared with some other fish species.  相似文献

本研究旨在评价核糖蛋白替代大菱鲆(Scophthalmus maximus)饲料中鱼粉的潜力。采用单因素实验设计,设6个鱼粉替代水平。对照饲料(D1)中鱼粉含量为45%,通过添加核糖蛋白替代D1组饲料中鱼粉的0.5%(D2)、1%(D3)、2%(D4)、3%(D5)和4%(D6)。实验期间,每天分2次按饱食量投喂初始体重为(24.00±0.30)g大菱鲆幼鱼56d。结果显示,幼鱼增重率、特定生长率、蛋白质效率随着核糖蛋白替代水平的变化呈先上升后下降趋势,均在D3组达到最高值,显著高于D5和D6组(P<0.05);饲料系数则呈相反趋势,在D3组达到最低值,显著低于D6组(P<0.05)。各替代组幼鱼血清胰岛素生长因子(IGF-1)和生长激素(GH)含量均显著低于对照组(P<0.05);核糖蛋白替代1%3%的鱼粉后,显著提高了幼鱼肠道胰蛋白酶活性(P<0.05);幼鱼肠道α-淀粉酶活性在D4和D5组显著高于对照组(P<0.05);饲料中添加核糖蛋白替代鱼粉显著降低了幼鱼肠道脂肪酶活性(P<0.05)。各替代组幼鱼血清总蛋白、球蛋白含...  相似文献

配制5种等氮、等能的饲料,D1组以全鱼粉作为蛋白源,D2、D3组分别用脱脂豆粕替代10%和20%鱼粉,D4组以啤酒酵母粉替代10%鱼粉,D5组以玉米蛋白粉替代10%鱼粉,投喂体质量30~38g的幼鱼5周,研究3种蛋白源替代饲料中的鱼粉蛋白对大规格军曹鱼幼鱼生长和体成分的影响。试验结果表明,各组存活率差异不显著(P0.05);D3组体质量、质量增加率、饲料转化率、蛋白质效率和特定生长率均显著低于D1组(P0.05),而其他各组无显著差异(P0.05)。D3组全鱼粗脂肪含量显著低于D1、D5组(P0.05),肌肉灰分含量则显著高于其他组(P0.05);其他各组全鱼和肌肉常规营养成分无显著差异(P0.05)。D3组肝体指数显著低于其他组(P0.05),各组的脏体指数、肝脏脂肪含量和肥满度均无显著差异(P0.05)。试验结果提示,3种蛋白均可替代饲料中10%的鱼粉蛋白而不产生显著影响,但替代比例达到20%,就可能对大规格幼鱼的生长、饲料利用、体成分和健康产生不良影响。  相似文献

为研究发酵豆粕替代藻粉对刺参(Apostichopus japonicus)生长及体组成的影响,以发酵豆粕分别替代基础饲料中的藻粉及鱼粉藻粉混合物(2:15),配制9组等氮实验饲料,饲喂初始体重为17.7 g左右的刺参幼参70 d.结果显示,随替代藻粉比例的升高,实验刺参的增重率及特定生长率先升后降(P<0.05);随替代混合物比例的升高,D8、D9组增重率及特定生长率显著低于前3组(P<0.05),但前3组之间无显著差异(P>0.05);替代藻粉降低了体壁粗脂肪含量(P<0.05);替代混合物降低了粗灰分含量(P<0.05);替代藻粉降低了体壁甘氨酸、蛋氨酸及半胱氨酸含量(P<0.05),提高了苯丙氨酸和组氨酸含量(P<0.05);替代混合物降低了丝氨酸、苏氨酸、甘氨酸、蛋氨酸、赖氨酸及组氨酸含量(P<0.05),提高了精氨酸、脯氨酸、苯丙氨酸及半胱氨酸含量(尸<0.05);替代藻粉降低了体壁Ca、Mg、Fe、Zn、Cu、Cr、Mn及Pb含量(P<0.05);替代混合物降低了Ca、Mg、Zn、Cu、Cr及Pb含量(P<0.05),提高了Fe及Mn含量(P<0.05).以增重率为评价指标,经SAS REG曲线拟合,发酵豆粕替代藻粉的最佳比例为29.75%;经SAS NLIN曲线拟合,替代46.46%的鱼粉藻粉混合物对刺参生长无显著影响.  相似文献

Two 8‐wk feeding trials were conducted to examine the effect of replacing dietary fish meal with poultry by‐product meal (PBM) and soybean meal (SBM) on growth, feed utilization, body composition, and wastes output of juvenile golden pompano, Trachinotus ovatus (initial body weight 16.7 g), reared in net pens. A control diet (C) was formulated to contain 35% fish meal. In Trial I, dietary fish meal level was reduced to 21, 14, 7, and 0% by replacing 40, 60, 80, and 100% of the fish meal in diet C with PBM. The weight gain (WG), nitrogen retention efficiency (NRE), and energy retention efficiency (ERE) decreased, while the feed conversion ratio (FCR) and total waste output of nitrogen (TNW) increased, with the fish meal level reducing from 35 to 21%. No significant differences were found in the hepatosomatic index, viscersomatic index, and body composition between fish fed diet C and test diets. In Trial II, a 2 × 2 layout was established, and 40 and 60% of the fish meal in diet C was replaced by either PBM or SBM. At the same fish meal replacement level, the WG and NRE were higher and the FCR and TNW were lower in fish fed the diets with fish meal replaced by PBM than in fish fed the diets with fish meal replaced by SBM. The results of this study indicate that more than 21% fish meal must be retained in diets for golden pompano when PBM or SBM is used alone as a fish meal substitute.  相似文献
