选择健康的吉富罗非鱼为试验鱼,比较不同水平木薯粉之间的诱食效果以及木薯粉与豆粕、次粉的适口性,评价木薯粉在罗非鱼饵料中的应用效果。结果表明,(1)40%、30%木薯粉组的诱食活性显著高于10%、20%木薯粉组(p0.01),40%与30%木薯粉之间没有显著差异(p0.05)。(2)罗非鱼对木薯粉与豆粕、次粉的适口性依次为豆粕木薯次粉。  相似文献

通过在饲料中分别添加2×107 CFU/g的芽孢杆菌制剂、中草药芽孢杆菌制剂、复合微生态制剂和中草药复合微生态制剂,研究4种微生态制剂对吉富罗非鱼(Oreochromis niloticus)生长、肠道菌群及抗病力等的影响。结果显示:(1)饲料中添加4种微生态制剂均可显著提高罗非鱼的增重率(P<0.05),对成活率和饲料利用率也有一定程度的提高(P>0.05),而中草药复合微生态制剂对罗非鱼促进生长效果最佳。(2)饲料中添加4种微生态制剂可以显著提高罗非鱼肠道中的细菌总数、芽孢杆菌、乳酸杆菌和双歧杆菌数量(P<0.05),大肠杆菌数量显著低于对照组(P<0.05),说明饲料中添加一定量的4种微生态制均可改善罗非鱼的肠道菌群结构,以中草药复合微生态制剂的改善效果最佳。(3)经人工感染无乳链球菌后,罗非鱼对照组全部死亡,4个实验组只有部分死亡。鉴定发现,吉富罗非鱼的死亡均由感染无乳链球菌所致,试验组罗非鱼的免疫保护率分别为51.42%(B组)、58.62%(C组)、58.62%(D组)和68.93%(E组),以中草药复合微生态制剂组的免疫保护率最高。综上所述,在饲料中添加一定比例的中草药复合微生态制剂可以提高吉富罗非鱼生长指标、改善其肠道菌群结构和增加抗病力。  相似文献

ABSTRACT

Fish cage culture is an intensive, continuous-flow fish farming system, allowing intensive exploitation of water bodies with relatively low capital investment. This study aimed to determine the production function of Nile tilapia, Oreochromis niloticus, in cages; the profit-maximizing biomass at 300–400 and 500–600 fish per m3 for cages of different volumes; and the influence of water body conditions in fish performance. Feed intake, survival rate, and water temperature were monitored daily; dissolved oxygen, pH, and transparency of water were monitored each 15 days. Caged tilapia were fed daily on commercial, floating pellets (32% crude protein) at 0900, 1300, and 1700, and feeding rate was adjusted based on weight gain and survival rate. Data were analyzed statistically by ANOVA (P = 0.05) and regression analysis; the Mitscherlich function was chosen to represent the production function. Carrying capacity of both stocking densities reached 200 kg/m3 and no differences were found (P > 0.05) regarding accumulated biomass and individual average weight over time. The larger stocking density yielded larger accumulated biomass and had better feeding efficiency and no differences between individual average weights of fish at both densities were observed (P > 0.05). Profit-maximizing biomass at 500–600 fish/m3 was 145 kg/m3 and at 300–400 fish/m3 was 121 kg/m3. Cage farming of Nile tilapia at 500–600 fish/m3, individual average weight 283 g, presented many advantages: optimization of space and production time, better feed efficiency, higher fish production per unit volume of cages, and increased profitability.  相似文献

Abstract

Nile tilapia, Oreochromis niloticus (L.), is a commercially-valuable fish species with high nutritional value. As a result of the intensive aquaculture of this species, handling, transport, and environmental changes that causes stress on these fish are unavoidable. The objective of this study was to determine the effects of gradual and acute temperature changes on juvenile tilapia. No significant difference (P > 0.05) was found among serum cortisol levels in juvenile tilapia when the water temperature was gradually increased from 27°C to 32°C, or 40°C, and maintained for 1 hour, although the levels were five times pretreat-ment levels. When tilapia acclimated to 27°C were subjected to 18°, 27°, 30°, 32°, 34°, 36°, 38°, or 40°C water for 10 minutes in a water bath, followed by a recovery period of 10 minutes at 27°C in the original aquaria, no significant difference (P > 0.05) in cortisol levels was observed among treatments except for significantly elevated levels at 38°C and 40°C. When tilapia acclimated to 27°C were subjected to the same temperature exposures but given a recovery period of 60 minutes at 27°C in the original aquaria, there was no significant (P > 0.05) increase in cortisol levels in tilapia among treatments from 18° to 36°C; but there was a significant (P > 0.05) increase between values from those treatments at 38° and 40°C. Acute temperature changes initiated the cortisol response as early as 10 minutes in fish following exposure to 38°C or 40°C and resulted in significant increases in the 38°C and 40°C treatments following 1 hour of recovery at 27°C. These results have implications for the management of tilapia during bacterial challenge, vaccination, and handling and transport during aquacultural activities.  相似文献

Abstract

The stress response following intraperitoneal (IP) injection of a non-adjuvant Streptococcus agalactiae vaccine in cultured warmwater Nile tilapia, Oreochromis niloticus, has not been investigated. Further, little or no information is available on stress following S. agalactiae infection and what effect, if any, vaccination has on susceptibility to infection. The objective of this study was to develop preliminary information on the associations between vaccination, stress, and infection. Blood glucose levels were used to evaluate stress in the fish at different time intervals following vaccination and challenge with S. agalactiae. Blood glucose levels were measured in vaccinates and controls at 0, 2, 6, 24 hours, and 28 days post-immunization (0 hours pre-challenge), and at 2,6, 24,48,72, and 312 hours following challenge with 1.5 × 104 colony forming units (CFU) of S. agalactiae/fish. Significant increases in blood glucose levels were observed only in association with the injection of the vaccine and at 2 hours after injection. After S. agalactiae challenge, both controls and vaccinates had significantly (P < 0.05) higher blood glucose values at 2, 24,48, and 72 hours than at 0 hours. However, blood glucose levels in vaccinates were significantly (P < 0.05) lower than the controls at 24, 48, and 312 hours. Blood glucose levels and mortality of the infected controls were significantly correlated (r2 = 0.9236, P = 0.0134). The cumulative mortality of the vaccinates and controls was 10% and 60% after 13 days post-challenge, respectively. The relative percent survival (RPS) was 83.4. Our results indicate that the vaccine was efficacious against S. agalactiae and induced short-term stress in tilapia. These preliminary results also suggested, for the first time, that vaccination may significantly reduce the infection stress associated with S. agalactiae infection in tilapia.  相似文献

研究了尼罗罗非鱼(Oreochromis niloticus)肝脏淀粉酶的基本性质及金属离子对该鱼淀粉酶活性的影响。结果表明:罗非鱼淀粉酶活力的最适pH是6.5,最适底物浓度是2%。研究金属离子对该鱼淀粉酶活力影响,一价金属离子K+、Li+、Na+对酶活力影响较小;二价金属离子Cu2+对酶活力具有抑制作用,Zn2+对酶活力无明显影响;三价金属离子Al3+对酶活力具有抑制作用,但效果不是很强烈,Fe3+对酶活力具有明显的激活作用;碱土金属Mg2+、Ca2+对淀粉酶活性有激活作用,而Ba2+对酶具有抑制作用;重金属离子Cd2+、Pb2+有明显的抑制作用。  相似文献

ABSTRACT

This experiment was conducted to determine the effect of dietary lipid sources on growth performance, body proximate composition, hematology, immune response and resistance of Nile tilapia, Oreochromis niloticus, to Streptococcus iniae infection. Six isocaloric (3.2 kcal/g) and isonitrogenous (34% crude protein) semi-purified diets were supplemented with 7% of various sources of lipid, namely, corn oil (CO), beef tallow (BT), menhaden fish oil (FO), linseed oil (LO), and equal combinations of FO+CO+BT or LO+CO+BT. Diets were fed to tilapia in quadruplicate aquaria to apparent satiation, twice daily for 12 weeks. Fish fed the BT-diet exhibited significantly lowest weight gain, diet intake, feed and protein efficiency ratios, apparent protein utilization, and survival. Whole-body protein and ash were significantly (P < 0.05) lowest and highest, respectively, for fish fed the beef tallow-diet, but the values of these parameters did not differ among fish fed other diets. No significant differences (P > 0.05) were found among hematological values, except for fish fed the FO-diet which had abnormally high red and white blood cell counts. Serum protein concentration, lysozyme activity, and natural hemolytic complement activity were significantly (P < 0.05) reduced in fish fed the BT-diet. The values of these parameters did not differ among fish fed other diets. Post-challenge antibody titer was not influenced by dietary lipid sources. Cumulative mortality 15 days post-challenge with S. iniae was significantly lower (P < 0.05) for fish fed the BT diet compared with those fed FO or FO+CO+BT diets. No significant differences were observed in fish fed other dietary lipid sources.  相似文献

随机选取海水池塘(盐度28)和淡水池塘养殖及水库天然增殖的3种不同生态环境下、体质量为200~500g的尼罗罗非鱼为研究材料,采用生物化学方法测定3种生态环境尼罗罗非鱼血清中碱性磷酸酶、酸性磷酸酶、过氧化物酶、谷胱甘肽还原酶的活性和蛋白质量浓度。结果显示,3种生态环境中罗非鱼血清中碱性磷酸酶和酸性磷酸酶活力差异不显著(P0.05),其余各组间罗非鱼血清中过氧化物酶和谷胱甘肽还原酶的活性及血清蛋白质量浓度差异显著(P0.05),酶活力和蛋白质量浓度依次为:水库海水池塘淡水池塘。试验结果表明,水库天然增殖的尼罗罗非鱼具有较高的磷酸酶活性。  相似文献

ABSTRACT:   To investigate the effect of live and dead probiotic cells on the non-specific immune system of tilapia Oreochromis niloticus , probiotics were introduced by feeding either in the form of live or dead cells, or supplying live cells to the rearing water in a closed recirculating system. The probiotics treatment enhanced non-specific immune parameters such as lysozyme activity, migration of neutrophils and plasma bactericidal activity, resulting in improvement of resistance to Edwardsiella tarda infection. Especially, oral administration of live cells seemed to be more effective compared with other probiotic treatments such as oral administration of dead probiotic cells and supply of live probiotic cells to the rearing water. These results indicate that probiotics treatment is promising as an alternative method to antibiotics for disease prevention in aquaculture, and the viability of probiotic bacteria is a key factor to induce more potential effect of probiotics used for fish production.  相似文献

This study compares how CO2 narcosis and thermal shock affect the physicochemical aspects of Nile tilapia fillets held frozen (?18°C) for up to 6 months. The characteristics of tilapia fillets subjected to CO2 narcosis were those of higher lightness and whiteness and lower redness. The hardness values of fillets of tilapia subjected to thermal shock were lower than those subjected to CO2 narcosis. During frozen storage to both treatments, the drip loss, denaturation of myosin, and lipid oxidation increased, while fillet water holding capacity and hardness decreased. The physicochemical properties of frozen fillets of tilapia stunned by CO2 narcosis were considered more desirable; therefore, the method can be a potential replacement to thermal shock.  相似文献

为研究碱环境下广盐性鱼类氨转运途径,将尼罗罗非鱼同时进行急性碱度胁迫(2、4、6 g/L)和慢性碱度胁迫,检测胁迫后120 h内的血氨浓度与鳃组织中Rhag、Rhbg、Rhcg1和Rhcg2基因mRNA表达变化,并采用免疫组化技术观察鳃组织中Rh蛋白的阳性反应。结果表明,急性碱度胁迫下,血氨浓度在12 h内快速升高到达峰值,4种Rh基因表达量升高,并于24 h到达峰值;慢性碱胁迫组由于碱度不断升高,血氨浓度呈波动状态,4种Rh基因的表达量均维持在较高表达水平,表明几种Rh蛋白均可能参与血氨浓度调节。胁迫24 h,Rhcg1基因的表达量显著高于其他3种基因。免疫组化结果表明,急性与慢性胁迫组中Rhag、Rhbg和Rhcg在鳃组织中均发现阳性反应,且随碱度升高,阳性反应增强。本研究表明,在碱胁迫环境下,尼罗罗非鱼会增强Rh基因与蛋白表达量参与氨转运过程。  相似文献

为了了解尼罗罗非鱼(Oreochromis niloticus)细胞转录因子Xbp1-S(On Xbp1-S)的基因序列特征及其在无乳链球菌(Streptococcus alactolyticus)应激和在B细胞分化中的作用,应用RACE克隆技术获得的On Xbp1-S基因全长1380 bp,包括开放阅读框ORF为1155 bp,5?端非编码区(5?UTR)长127 bp,3?端非编码区(3'UTR)长98 bp。On Xbp1-S序列分析推测该基因编码384个氨基酸,分子量为41.32 k Da,理论等电点为4.36。同源性分析显示,On Xbp1-S基因与其他鱼类的聚为一支,其中,与南极鳕(Notothenia coriiceps)相似性最高。荧光定量PCR及Western-blot结果显示,On Xbp1-S在各组织中均有表达,m RNA水平上在肝脏中表达量最高,蛋白水平上在胸腺中表达量最高,而在肌肉中表达量最低。无乳链球菌应激后,On Xbp1-S基因在肝脏和脾脏中的表达趋势相似,均在应激期间出现表达量上调,在192 h出现峰值。另外,免疫组化分析发现,On Xbp1-S因子在不同分化程度B细胞亚类中的表达呈现差异,在成熟B细胞中呈现高表达,而在未成熟B细胞中几乎不表达。研究结果表明,On Xbp1-S参与尼罗罗非鱼对无乳链球菌的免疫防御,和在B细胞分化中起作用。本研究将为进一步研究On Xbp1-S因子应答病原菌侵染的机理及促进B细胞分化机制提供理论依据。  相似文献

The effects of open‐water and caged fish density on growth, feed utilization, water quality and profitability were investigated to assess the feasibility of a small‐scale rotational system for production of Oreochromis niloticus (L.) in fertilized ponds. Hand‐sexed male fingerlings averaging 18.6 and 29.9 g were stocked in open water and cages, respectively in four treatments with open‐pond:caged tilapia ratios of 300:0 (control), 150:150 (L), 300:150 (H1) and 300:300 (H2). The ponds in L and H1 contained one cage, two cages in H2, and the control ponds had no cages. Each cage contained 150 fish, which were fed daily at 1.5% body weight for 125 days. All fish in the open water except the control fish were not fed. Growth of open water tilapia was significantly (P<0.05) higher in L than in control. Feed utilization, dawn DO and economic returns were significantly better (P<0.05) in caged than control ponds. Growth of tilapia in L was significantly lower (P<0.05) in cages than in open water. Fingerling production was significantly lower (P<0.05) in L than in other treatments. In conclusion, cage‐cum‐open‐pond integrated treatment (L) was optimal for O. niloticus production in fertilized ponds. However, the system could not rotate and needed further fine‐tuning to rotate.  相似文献

Orechromis niloticus fry were effectively sex-reversed to males (>97%) when given a ration containing 60 mg methyltestosterone/kg for 28 days, independent of the length of time fry were confined to hapas (0, 7, 14, 28 days) before being released into outdoor 20-m2 static water tanks. Fish from all treatments were raised an additional 30 days in the tanks and were fed a non-hormone treated feed. After 28 days of hormone treatment, fry stocked directly into the tank at 150/m2 were the largest, with an average weight of 1.9 g. Those held in hapas for 28 days were significantly smaller (0.6 g) than those not held in hapas or held for a shorter period. After a total culture period of 58 days, mean individual weights and survival rates were similar among all treatments. The results of this study demonstrate that it is possible to sex reverse tilapia fry in open outdoor environments and reduce the steps in the nursery phase. Confinement in hapas is not necessary for successful sex reversal, and it limits growth.  相似文献

尼罗与奥利亚罗非鱼对池塘蓝藻水华及水质影响的研究   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
利用尼罗罗非鱼和奥利亚罗非鱼进行了池塘抑藻试验,采用血球计数板测定水体中的微囊藻密度,并对水体理化性质进行了检测分析。试验结果表明,罗非鱼能有效消减水体中蓝藻生物量,降低水体藻毒素浓度,并对水体TN、TP产生一定影响。其中奥利亚罗非鱼试验组蓝藻初始密度为1.53-108cells/L,下降至0.86-108eells/L,降低43.79%;尼罗罗非鱼组蓝藻初始密度为1.54-108cells/L,下降至O.51×108cells,L,降低66.88%。水体总磷含量无显著变化,总氮含量有所下降,水体微囊藻毒素MC—LR含量随着蓝藻密度的下降而降低,并讨论了尼罗与奥利亚罗非鱼摄食抑制蓝藻的摄食抑制及其对水质的影响。  相似文献

实验采用高山红景天(Rhodiola sachalinensis)作为饲料添加剂,探究其对低温胁迫下的吉富罗非鱼(Oreochromis niloticus,GIFT)的影响。将0.1%、0.2%、0.4%的高山红景天水煎剂粗提干粉分别添加到基础饲料(对照组),用4种实验饲料投喂吉富罗非鱼54 d,然后进行低温胁迫处理并于30、25、20、15和10℃时分别取样。结果显示:水温为10℃时,添加组的成活率为100%,显著高于对照组,添加组血清中的血糖、高密度脂蛋白胆固醇、一氧化氮浓度和肝脏中的丙二醛水平较对照组显著降低;肝脏中的超氧化物歧化酶和谷胱甘肽过氧化物酶的酶活性水平较对照组显著升高,并且添加水平越高,效果越明显。以上结果说明,饲料中添加0.1%的高山红景天粗提干粉即能对提高罗非鱼的抗低温能力起到一定的积极作用,添加0.2%和0.4%的效果更好。  相似文献

ABSTRACT

Gelatin from the scale of Nile tilapia was extracted and characterized chemically, thermally, and structurally. Scales of Nile tilapia were subjected to acid pretreatment and extraction with water at 60°C. The process yielded 12.1% (m/m) on a dry basis. The 6.67% gelatin solution had a gel strength of 233.5 ± 14g. The amino acid composition revealed that 20.02% was comprised of imino acids and glycine (34.49%) as the most abundant amino acids. The scale gelatin had α1, α2, and β subunits and was thermally stable up to 200ºC. The Fourier transform infrared spectrum showed absorption in the regions of amides A, I, II, and III. The characterization of tilapia scale gelatin showed that the obtained product was similar to commercial gelatin, thereby demonstrating its potential application.  相似文献

The study was carried out to quantify the periphyton biomass developed on glass substrates over time, to investigate the effects of periphyton quantity and fish size on the ingestion rate by fish, and to determine the feed conversion ratio (FCR) of periphyton by tilapia Oreochromis niloticus. Periphyton was grown in two fertilised 1000‐l tanks on glass slides and monitored as dry matter (g), ash‐free dry matter (g) and chlorophyll a concentrations (mg) per unit surface area (m2) over a six week period. Ingestion rate was determined for two sizes of tilapia (7 and 24 g) which were provided with four different periphyton densities. Determination of FCR was made after feeding three individual fish ad libitum with periphyton for two weeks. Periphyton ash‐free dry matter increased sharply during the first half of the trial with a peak being recorded at week 3 (75.5 g m?2). Productivity was 2.4 g ash‐free dry matter m?2 d?1 during the first three weeks. Mean chlorophyll a concentration showed a cyclic pattern throughout the study with the lowest value being measured during the last week. Ingestion rates were 0.90 and 0.18 mg dry matter g fish body weight?1 h?1 for small and medium fish respectively. Ingestion rate among small fish increased significantly (P < 0.05) with periphyton density, but not for medium size fish. Although periphyton ash content was high (55% dry matter), fish growth was sustained. Fish harvested 70% of total periphyton dry matter that was offered to them. The FCR for periphyton was 2.81 on a dry matter basis and 1.34 on an ash‐free dry matter basis.  相似文献

Digestibility, feeding and growth studies were conducted with Nile tilapia using diets containing fishery by‐catch and processing waste meals. Three meals manufactured from sorted fisheries by‐catch (MBM, from mixed benthic species, SPM, from small pelagic species, CAM, from mixed catfish species) one from tuna cannery waste (TCW) and one commercial anchovy meal (COM) were tested. By‐catch and processing waste meals had lower protein, lower lipid and higher ash contents than anchovy meal. The meals were all highly digestible and no significant differences (P≥0.05) were observed between apparent protein digestibility measurements. Five feeds, containing fish meal as the major protein ingredient, were formulated and fed to triplicate groups of 30 juvenile tilapias for 9 weeks. Survival, weight gain, specific growth rate (SGR), feed conversion ratio, protein efficiency ratio, phosphorus retention and whole body proximate composition were compared. Weight gain and SGRs were similar for each treatment group and compared favourably with the results obtained from juvenile tilapia elsewhere. Growth was the highest for CAM (P≤0.05), which contained both the highest essential amino acid levels and the highest ash content. Phosphorus retention was significantly lower in fish fed with high ash meals, MBM, CAM and TCW (P≤0.05) than in fish fed with the lower ash meals COM and SPM. Overall, the fisheries by‐catch and processing waste meals evaluated in this study are suitable protein ingredients for juvenile tilapia feeds.  相似文献
