蕨麻多糖对小鼠免疫功能的影响   总被引:8,自引:0,他引:8  
用环磷酰胺作为免疫抑制剂小鼠腹腔注射(100mg/kg)建立免疫抑制模型,观察不同剂量蕨麻多糖(50、100、200、400mg/kg)对小鼠脾脏指数、胸腺指数及血清溶菌酶活力的影响.结果显示,蕨麻多糖能明显提高正常小鼠脾脏指数、胸腺指数及免疫抑制小鼠脾脏指数;增强正常小鼠和免疫抑制小鼠血清溶菌酶活力,尤其在免疫抑制状态下,增强作用更明显.表明该多糖可对抗Cy所致的免疫抑制,明显地增强小鼠免疫功能.  相似文献

The present study examined effects of diazepam (DZP) alone or in combination with delta 9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) on feeding behavior as well as body weight in male ddY strain mice at 5 weeks of age. Because we saw no hyperphagic effect of DZP with or without THC in mice, we explored the hyperphagia elicitable by DZP. THC [2 (THC2) or 4 (THC4) mg/kg/day s.c.] was given daily for 7 days. For the last day the mice were starved and injected i.p. with DZP (2 mg/kg) 10 min prior to a food or maze test. Controls received vehicle injections. Feeding behavior was measured after giving food for 2 hr. THC4 significantly reduced body weight gain. DZP, with or without THC, induced hyperphagia. THC4 alone also induced hyperphagia that was not significantly affected by DZP. Time taken to find food was extended by DZP and further with THC. Both DZP and THC can therefore interact on food ingestion but synergize on food seeking in mice through different mechanisms.  相似文献

为研究牦牛肠黏膜源屎肠球菌G2对健康小鼠肠道微生物、形态和免疫功能的影响,试验设置对照组(CON)、热灭活菌组(EHK)、活菌组(ENT)3个处理组,每组8只C57BL/6小鼠,共计24只。CON组、EHK组、ENT组于正式试验期第1、2、4、6天按0.1 mL/只分别灌胃M17培养基、热灭活菌液和活菌菌液,灌胃前无菌收集小鼠粪便进行乳酸菌总菌计数,第8天处死小鼠取样。结果表明:ENT组乳酸菌总菌数量在第3、5天显著大于CON组与EHK组(P <0.05);各组小鼠结肠病理学评分无显著差异,但ENT组隐窝深度显著高于CON组与EHK组(P <0.05);各组间肠黏膜免疫因子Reg3β、Reg3γ和MUC2基因mRNA表达量差异不显著,TNF-α表达量ENT组显著低于CON组(P <0.05)。综上可知,牦牛源屎肠球菌G2可能为一种肠道过路菌,能在短时间内提高肠道乳酸菌的总数,一定程度上具有改善肠道形态和促进肠道健康的作用。  相似文献

为揭示植物制剂黄草素对机体免疫功能的作用 ,我们观察了体外淋巴细胞增殖试验 ,体外诱导白细胞介素 2 (IL- 2 )的产生 ,以及腹腔巨噬细胞吞噬功能试验。结果黄草素可明显增强小鼠、鸡淋巴细胞增殖活性 ,并对小鼠 IL- 2的产生也有明显的促进作用。表明黄草素为一有效的免疫增强剂  相似文献

壳聚糖铁对仔猪生长性能及免疫功能的影响   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
选24头体重相近、日龄相同的健康仔猪随机分为6组:1组为对照组,饲喂基础日粮;2组为壳聚糖组,在基础日粮中添加壳聚糖300 mg/kg;3组为硫酸亚铁组,以硫酸亚铁的形式在基础日粮中添加铁100 mg/kg;4~6组为壳聚糖铁组,以壳聚糖铁的形式分别在基础日粮中添加铁70 mg/kg、100 mg/kg和130 mg/kg,研究壳聚糖铁对仔猪生产性能及免疫功能的影响。结果显示:3~6组仔猪平均日增重显著高于第1组、第2组(P<0.05);第6组仔猪料重比显著低于第1组(P<0.05)。试验至15 d,第5、第6组仔猪外周淋巴细胞转化率显著高于第1~4组(P<0.05或P<0.01);第4组、第5组仔猪血清球蛋白含量显著高于第1组和第3组(P<0.05)。试验至30 d,第6组仔猪外周淋巴细胞转化率显著高于第1、第2组(P<0.05或P<0.01);第3~5组显著高于第1组(P<0.05)。试验至45 d和60 d,第5组、第6组仔猪外周淋巴细胞转化率显著高于第1~3组(P<0.05)。试验至45 d,第5组和第6组仔猪血清球蛋白含量显著高于第1组和第2组(P<0.05)。试验至60 d,第4~6组仔猪血清球蛋白含量显著高于第1组和第3组(P<0.05)。试验表明,壳聚糖铁能显著提高仔猪的生产性能,与硫酸亚铁基本一致;壳聚糖铁能增强仔猪免疫功能,效果要显著优于硫酸亚铁。  相似文献

本文综述了微量元素锌与动物免疫器官发育、细胞免疫、体液免疫和与自由基防御系统的关系。指出低锌严重影响胸腺、法氏囊的发育,且影响程度随缺乏时间的延长而加剧。而采食过量的锌对免疫器官的发育同样造成不良影响。低锌可降低迟发性免疫反应,适宜锌水平可增加抗体滴度,提高免疫球蛋白水平。对于仔猪,高锌可提高过氧化物歧化酶(SOD)、谷胱甘肽过氧化酶(GSH-Px)活性,保护机体免受自由基损伤。  相似文献

Sixteen sheep were divided into four groups and were given saline, Escherichia coli endotoxin at 35 micrograms/kg0.75, dipyrone at 88 mg/kg0.75, or endotoxin and dipyrone intravenously. Plasma glucose concentrations, rectal temperature and depression of central nervous function were assessed at hourly intervals for 10 h and again at 24 h. Dipyrone had no effect on normal sheep but in sheep given endotoxin, it blocked the febrile response and partially blocked the depression effect upon the central nervous system without affecting the hypoglycaemic response.  相似文献

The extremely high media emphasis of the BSE issue during the period December 2000 to February 2001 has caused considerable short term public concern. A significant amount of this concern was due to an intensive communication of pictures. Pictures are "fast shots into the brain" (Kroeber-Riel). Pictured stimuli run under the cognitive control of the recipients effecting the consumer below the threshold of consciousness. However, the issue has fallen into oblivion very soon. In summer 2001 the public concern was not higher than before the BSE crisis. The perception of product quality regained a "normal level". The public concern has caused a considerable decline of the demand for beef and an increase of demand for substitutes and organic meat. When the media emphasis of the BSE issue diminished, the beef demand recovered but did not reach the pre-crisis level again. However, the BSE crisis has intensified animal welfare concerns, polarized public opinion about food and agriculture and had big effects in the political sphere. Furthermore, the BSE crisis has led to additional--politically supported--activities of the organic food suppliers causing a further growth of this market segment.  相似文献

Auditory, chemical and visual stimuli were used in a factorial trial in an attempt to stimulate feeding in newly weaned piglets. Ninety-six crossbred piglets weaned at 28 d of age were assigned to groups containing four littermates. Each group was placed in a 1.2-m X 1.2-m pen in an isolated room for 48 h. Pens were equipped with nipple waterers and trough-type feeders. The auditory stimulus was piglet and sow nursing vocalizations. A visual stimulus was provided by a lamp that illuminated the feeding area. Auditory and visual stimuli were presented for 5 min once an hour for 48 h. The chemical stimulus consisted of 60 ml of evaporated milk sprayed over the surface of the feed once every 12 h. Water was used in place of milk in control treatments. Piglets were videotaped for 48 h. Frequency and duration of feeding, drinking and lying were recorded for two piglets out of each pen. Auditory stimuli increased (P less than .05) the number of drinking bouts per day from 16.3 to 19.2 and the number of drinking bouts associated with stimulus presentation from 6.2 to 8.0. There also was an auditory X day interaction effect on total time spent feeding. On d 2 postweaning piglets in the auditory treatment group spent more (P less than .05) time feeding than did those without auditory stimulation (127.1 vs 104.2 min, respectively). The purpose of this research was to investigate the salinity and formalin sensitivity of a ciliate parasite (Anophryoides haemophila) of the American lobster (Homarus americanus), and to examine the target-animal (lobster) safety of chemical-bath treatments involving low salinity, formalin, or chloramine-T that could be used to control this parasite in lobster pounds. "Bumper car" disease, caused by An. haemophila, is an important concern to lobster pound operators in eastern North America, because of the implicated lobster mortality rate and the general lack of preventive and therapeutic intervention regimes. We determined, using an in vitro method, that formalin at 50 mg/L, or low salinity at 8.0 parts per thousand (ppt) for 1 hour killed 100% of the parasites. When healthy lobsters were exposed to formalin at 200 mg/L, there were no negative behavioral responses and no significant differences in a panel of hemolymph biochemical indices. Similar results occurred when lobsters were exposed to chloramine-T, a common finfish therapeutic agent for topical bacteria and protozoa, at 10 mg/L for 1 hour. The low salinity treatment (8.0 ppt) resulted in significant adverse changes in lobster behavior and biochemical indices; however, these changes did not persist for more than 1 week after treatment ended. Although these treatments are unlikely to kill parasites that have already invaded the lobster carapace, they should be effective in reducing parasite loads on the gill and carapace surface of the lobster and in the environment of the impoundment housing.  相似文献

The purpose of this study was to investigate effects of addition of lactoferrin on characteristics and functions of bovine epididymal, ejaculated, and frozen-thawed sperm. The addition of lactoferrin was significantly (p < .05) effective on increasing values of progressive motility, straightness, and linearity in caput epididymal sperm and values of motility in cauda epididymal sperm. When ejaculated sperm were incubated in capacitation medium, percentages of motile and progressively motile sperm decreased largely within the first period of 30 min, followed by only minor changes. However, the addition of lactoferrin significantly lessened the early decreases of these parameters and additionally promoted capacitation-dependent changes of chlortetracycline staining patterns (from F pattern to B pattern). In other experiments, when ejaculated sperm were exposed to oxidative stress with 100-µM H2O2, the addition of lactoferrin partially protected them from dysfunction of flagellar movement and loss of progressive movement. In final experiments with frozen-thawed samples incubated in the capacitation medium, the addition of lactoferrin effectively survived dying sperm and suppressed occurrence of sperm agglutination. These results may suggest biological and biotechnological potentials of lactoferrin for modulation of bovine sperm viability, motility, capacitation state, and preservation in vitro.  相似文献

We compared the ability of tolazoline and yohimbine to antagonize xylazine-induced central nervous system depression, bradycardia, and tachypnea in 9 ewes and 5 rams. Once a week for 3 weeks, each sheep received one IV treatment of 0.4 mg xylazine/kg, 0.4 mg xylazine/kg followed in 10 minutes by 2 mg tolazoline/kg, or 0.4 mg xylazine/kg followed in 10 minutes by 0.2 mg yohimbine/kg. The order of the 3 treatments in each sheep was randomized. Xylazine alone caused recumbency for 41.0 +/- 3.7 minutes (mean +/- SEM). Tolazoline and yohimbine shortened the xylazine-induced recumbency to 12.1 +/- 0.9 minutes and 18.1 +/- 1.5 minutes, respectively. Sheep given xylazine alone had head droop for 34.0 +/- 5.4 minutes after rising. Head drooping of sheep given tolazoline or yohimbine was reduced to 10.1 +/- 1.7 minutes and 14.2 +/- 1.7 minutes, respectively. Both tolazoline and yohimbine reversed the bradycardia and tachypnea that followed xylazine administration. No statistical differences in the rate and magnitude of the reversal were observed between the 2 drugs.  相似文献

为探索苜蓿优势产区内蒙古中部地区高产优质苜蓿生产中适宜的种植密度。以草原3号苜蓿为研究材料,在4个种植行距处理下(15、30、45和60cm),对其生长特征,饲草产量及营养品质进行研究。结果表明:种植密度对苜蓿茎叶比影响显著,在窄行距处理(15和30cm)下茎叶比较小,显著低于宽行距处理(45和60cm)。种植密度对苜蓿的株高、生长速度、鲜干比影响不显著。株高、生长速度随行距的增大而增加,鲜干比随行距增大而降低。种植密度对苜蓿饲草产量影响显著,饲草产量随行距的增大而减小,窄行距处理(15和30cm)下饲草产量较高。生长第2、3年苜蓿饲草产量分别在30和15cm行距下达到最大,分别为10813和12574kg·hm^-2。种植密度对粗蛋白、酸性洗涤纤维、中性洗涤纤维、相对饲用价值影响显著,对粗脂肪和灰分则不显著。粗蛋白在30cm行距下最高,中性洗涤纤维在15cm行距下最小,酸性洗涤纤维在45cm行距下最小,相对饲用价值在15cm行距下最大。综合苜蓿生长,饲草产量和营养品质等指标,内蒙古中部地区苜蓿生产适宜种植行距范围为15~30cm。  相似文献

Stress occurs in intensive pig farming when piglets are weaned and mixed. In this study, we investigated whether this stress might be reduced with elevated dietary levels of Trp. The effects of supplemental dietary Trp (5 g/kg of feed, as-fed basis) were tested on the neuroendocrine system, intestinal integrity, behavior, and growth performance in nursery pigs, both before and after mixing. Mixing occurred 5 d after weaning and diet introduction. On d 4, 5, and 6, Trp-fed pigs vs. control pigs showed approximately a 2-fold elevation in plasma Trp concentrations (68 +/- 7 vs. 32 +/- 2 micromol/L; P < 0.001), a 38% increase in hypothalamic serotonin turnover as measured by 5-hydroxyindoleacetic acid:5-hydroxytryptamine (P < 0.001), and an 11 to 18% increase (P < 0.05) in the intestinal villus height:crypt depth. Before (d 4) and at (d 5) mixing, saliva but not plasma cortisol concentrations were reduced (P < 0.02) by approximately 2-fold in Trp-fed pigs vs. control pigs. Intestinal paracellular (horseradish peroxidase) and transcellular (fluorescein isothiocyanate) transport of macromolecules were not affected by dietary treatment, but mixing induced a 2-fold reduction (P < 0.05) in transcellular transport. Behavioral responses (lying and standing) at mixing were not affected by dietary treatment, except on d 10 after diet introduction when Trp supplementation induced more lying and less standing (P < 0.02). Average daily gain and ADFI were not different among dietary groups (P > 0.10). In conclusion, supplemental dietary Trp (5 g/kg) to piglets increased hypothalamic serotonergic activity, reduced the salivary cortisol response to mixing, improved intestinal morphology, and reduced physical activity 10 d after diet introduction. Consequently, diets containing high Trp levels improved neuroendocrine components of stress and increased gastrointestinal robustness but did not affect behavioral reactivity in nursery pigs during weaning and mixing.  相似文献
