| Abstract: | A new stem inoculation method using a gouge and syringe for inoculum application and utilizing the tree transpiration system for the uptake of sap‐compatible liquids was developed. This method is fast, reliable and less‐destructive compared to traditional methods of wound inoculation using a drill, punch, scalpel or a chisel. |
