A Brief Discussion on How to Prevent Occupational Brucellosis

Recently, the outbreaks and prevalent situations of brucellosis is quite serious in some parts of China. How to effectively prevent occupational brucellosis has become one of the most important public health concerns nowadays. Here, we proposed a preventive strategy as discussed in the following three aspects. Firstly, in order to cut off the disease from the origin, increasing publicity education efforts is necessary. Secondly, strengthening the personal protective measures could prevent professionals being infected by pathogen in circulation intermediaries. Thirdly, a complete biological safety management system could ensure the security of the production, and keep scientific research personnel away from catching occupational brucellosis.
