苜蓿雄性不育系应用的研究进展

摘    要:苜蓿作为“牧草之王”,是畜牧业发展中首选的重要牧草之一.近年来虽然育成了许多新品种,但我国牧草良种繁育工作,无论从数量上还是质量上都存在着许多问题,远远不能满足生产上的需求,因此急需繁育大量优质高产的苜蓿新品种,而利用植物雄性不育系杂交制种不仅可以充分发挥品种的增产潜力,还可以避免产生假杂种,提高杂交种的纯度和质量,是获得高产优质牧草新品种和高纯度种子的有效途径.本文通过对雄性不育系的概述和国内外关于雄性不育系在苜蓿制种的应用情况两方面的探索,进一步提出了苜蓿雄性不育系的应用前景和主要发展趋向.

Abstract:Alfalfa, " the king of the forage" , is one of the most important forages among the animal husbandry industry. Although many new varieties bred in recent years, but there are still many problems existed in the forage breeding in China, in terms of their quantity or quality. Therefore, it is urgent to breed a large number of new alfalfa varieties, which have high-quality and high-yielding. The use of plant male sterile lines for hybrid seed production can not only increase the output of the varieties, but also can avoid producing false hybrid, and improve the quality and purity of hybrid. In this paper, the application of male sterility in alfalfa seed production at home and abroad, was reviewed, and furthermore, the application prospect and the main development trends of the male sterile lines were also oresented.
