摘    要:热研4号王草是象草和美洲狼尾草的杂交种。品比试验结果表明,干物质产量为59670kg/hm2,比对照(象草)增产21.9%。区域试验结果比对照增产11.3%-27.3%。生产试验结果比对照增产13.3%-25.0%。在刈割条件下,热研4号王草不能抽穗开花,利用期比象草延长5个月。

Abstract:Reyan No.4 King grass is a hybrid of Pennisetum purpureum and P.americana and was introduced from CIAT in 1984.The results from the variety testing show that the annual dry material production is 59670 kg/hm2,21.9% more than that of P.purpureum;The results from reginal trial show that the forage yield improved 11.3%-27.3% than that of P.Purpureum, and improved 13.3%-25.0% in production testing.The King grass has no head sprouting when cutting in the winter, and the time for utilization expended 5 months more than that of P.Purpureum.
