Survey on the occurrence of Holotrichia purallela in turf and for suggestion in Changzhi riverside park

The Holotrichia purallela are the extremely important pests in local turf.The occurrence and distribution of Holotrichia purallela in different turfs were surveyed through field survey and interview survey.The result indicated that the distribution of Holotrichia purallela showed a certain pattern at the end of October.They mainly occurred within 0 to 5 cm layer and the population in yellow-green turfs was the largest,followed by those yellow turfs and a number of death worm bodies appeared.In green turfs,the Holotrichia purallela population was the least.It could be concluded that autumn is the important control period and the key turfs were yellow-green and yellow in autumn.
