The appearance of metaphase chromosomes of the pig in the scanning electronmicroscope Two karyotypes of the pig were examined, one using light-microscopy after G-band treatment and the other using scanning electronmicroscopy after BrdU treatment. In both cases the structures of the surface of the chromatids were identical.
