Present Situation of a High-efficient and Balanced Sheep Breeding Mode of ′Grain-grass-sheep′ in the Mountainous Areas of Northern Henan Province

This paper introduces the present situation of a high-efficient and balanced sheep breeding mode of ′grain-grass-sheep′ in the mountainous areas of northern Henan Province from the aspects of cultivation of grain crops, economic crops and forage grasses, processing, utilization and preparation of forage grasses, the rearing and crossbreeding of confined mutton sheep, and resource utilization of sheep manures, in hoping to provide ideas for promoting the sustainable use of resources, the virtuous circle of mountain ecological environment and the sustainable development of social economy in the mountainous areas of northern Henan Province.
